Will It Candy? Taste Test

today we ask the age-old question with a candy let's talk about that good mythical morning as you know we have a penchant on this show a penchant for asking the question will it is this Halloween is right around that spooky little corner we thought it would be appropriate to ask the question will it candy uh-huh and listen when you get done with your trick-or-treating you come back home and your big second Canyon you throw it out on the floor and either devour at all like an animal immediately or group it meticulously buy a candy type and then ration it out so it lasts until Christmas morning like a psychopath a serial killer or me yes I can guarantee you you're not gonna get any candies like the ones that we're gonna be sampling is there unless you decide to make come so let's get into it well okay so first we've got what we're calling the Buttercup bring it on then this is a peanut list peanut butter cup getting ricci ala media meaning butter yeah this is just butter butter inside there's peanut list peanut butter in this cup which means it's just butter in a cup that is a serious cup that's decides that they should Reese we gotta call mr. Reese because he should be doing this mr. Tracy I think it's recently see that's what I call him as a kid well that's a greasy cup this is like a major league cup man I really feel like we've got to go you got it yeah I want as much butter also second you know get in there and get the butter mm-hmm let's do it there's like a Cadbury Creme Egg it does have all the best ways you can imagine bringing Easter to Halloween like no one else can guys what in the world has it happened I'll tell you what's happened a miracle a Halloween miracle you going in for another one it's so creamy it's so good it is the creamiest thing I've ever tasted and you know what when we give these out to trick-or-treaters at my house I'm gonna put a little toy in the middle Oh no no no a great idea but I don't think you understand okay you getting a lot of trouble doing it if it ain't broke don't fix it this is perfect peanut butter list peanut butter cup will it candy yeah yeah okay well what a good start you've heard of candy corn which incidentally is a lot of people's least favorite Halloween candy a lot of people crap all over the candy corn and it doesn't taste good after that we're flipping the script we're making it corn candy uh-huh this is corn hora with candy on it basically it's corn sugar and sugar and food coloring and then we put a little powdered sugar onto the white side here you said the corn sugar I mean corn syrup corn syrup yeah but essentially the same thing horns yogurt corn sugar sugar sugar and sugar sugar so we have done our best to replicate the color scheme of a candy corn now the mythical crew has discovered that it is very difficult to get candy to stick to corn but how easy it'll really come down to taste I'm gonna start from the Y tango to the yellow end I'm gonna start with the yellow and go to the white okay we'll meet in the middle nope we're gonna start in the middle and move away from the opposite oh here we go if carp it's so cold the temperature plus the consistency is like eating frozen corn on the cob but it's very sweet it's so sweet it is just not meant to be this is not supposed to happen no no once it gets warm in your mouth you warmed it in your mouth oh gosh warming in your mouth huh so what we've discovered is you got a microwave this puppy written it all falls out it's falling out right now anyway didn't think I could do that I didn't I just do my deck oh man I wanted to see you do that put some on my eye watch me get it don't don't do it he blocked me curse is the NBA man I don't care I warmed it I did the mouth warming technique it did not work for me I think the answer is pretty clear here I don't know I don't think it is well we're gonna have to agree to disagree brother all right Lilla candy no yes all right um one of my favorite candies as a kid was a fun dip which is basically pouches of sugar with a sugar stick beside it that you would lick and then dip into it I was not allowed to eat this I was not allowed my mom didn't have a lot of standards when it came to food but one of the standards that Diane had was no fun dip I don't want to catch you with that fun dip she never did until today I can't step in so we have got what we're calling the fun Jim it's a slim jim mixed with fun dip man you guys are good I mean look at that I just ripped the freaking thing and it was like some sort of special store-bought candy mythical crew kills it again all right so we have cheese powder gravy powder sugar powder and of course the meat stick which is a slim jim I'm gonna start in place that I think is gonna be a good place the cheese packet now don't eat that just know I'm liking it moisten it I'm watching it now you know how it works go into the oh gosh it's like making macaroni meat in my mouth oh I just ate it oh you did I've already eaten one of my whole sticks you've only got two men I'm going for the gravy boat now the gravies this one's got a question mark beside it in my mind look it's like icing powder gravy supposed to be thin now yeah I got a bite my my meat stick man great you got a lot of flavor yeah I have a feeling I'm gonna be experiencing that flavor for days sugar time sir the time so the time with your meat stick that's a theme song for a movie that don't recommend Rendy alright a sweet slim jim is a pleasant surprise it is really good in it so fun Jim's will it slim jim oh well it Candyman will it candy yes fellas oh my goodness look at this we thought to ourselves like on many occasions actually why not take a calzone and dip it in caramel as if it were a caramel apple or a caramel apple depending on where you are and who you are and what you I don't know well your medium I think the thing here is is that you got an apple and you want to make it candied well you still got the Apple and go all the way why you gotta have this healthy Center to this unhealthy thing go all the way and make the center unhealthy - I thought calzones were healthy no they're not I don't know I like I mean when I eat a pizza and then I get to like the crust and I want to dip it in something sweet sometimes but like honey but this is different this is not moving this all into one experience is not it's not too great for me well it also is dangerous look at that well the way we did it is dangerous you're exactly right looks like a manta ray no I think both of these are actually I respect both ingredients but I respect them on their own and when combined it's not work as cool of an idea as it was it's not adding up man mm-hmm to savory to sweet trying too hard let's abandon ship calzone will it candy no okay all right next up we have what we're calling squishers these are the gummy snacks known as gushers except we've constructed ours filled with squid ink squishers now I love gosh there's man oh gosh I've had squid ink pasta which is just pasta this black but it didn't taste I don't know if having a high and you get yourself on your plate basically we got like a fruit roll-up that's been injected with a mouth full of squid ink this is bigger than any gusher that I've typically enjoyed now squidy cuz that tasteless I'm totally not colored I've had the squid ink pasta but and it tasted good and I did not notice any fishiness but I don't know maybe a little bit ain't goes a long way no sudden ruin gushers happy Halloween man oh gosh no there's no way there's no way man I've been here before I didn't like it then I don't like it now it's all do you guys wallet man no I don't I don't advise it man I don't advise it you could go for it but I'm not really behind you on this one what's gotten into you link okay there he is there's the old link for a second I thought you had achieved superhuman levels of resistance oh it's so black yeah it's black like the thoughts I'm having right now my face I did not mean to do that that was obscene I did not mean to do that in front of you I was uh I was trying to get it down well I think it's safe to say squid ink will it sandy well you know what the good news is is only it only gets better from here link goodness with the ringworm pop now I gotta say that in my household growing up ring pops where we're a big score if you could get a ring pop I mean oh God you could flaunt it to your brother or sister they fall a little bit out of fashion but there's they are still around this looks pretty fashionable but the ringworm that this is new on the scene this year 2016 Halloween but what is the earthworm's boiled for safety right what are the kind of worms and then just art forms more earthworms okay and then Jolly Rancher candy melted down because you know how much worms love apples this is like apple flavored I don't know nice shaking from the squiding yeah I thought I was gonna do it I thought you were - I was worried now how are we gonna do this are we just gonna lick it maybe just lick first just a little bit of lick first and the worms have a way of making it taste bad I'm only getting apples so far I think we got a bite when you want your ring to be done there comes a point when you just take a bite of it you're right [Music] get me near me the Apple really doesn't it doesn't do a lot just think about what all those demon kids are eating trick-or-treating I mean it's worth for the demon to wear have you seen the demon children knocking on my door asking for candy every Christmas I mean thank you that's when the demon children show up Christmas I think the apples helping me you got it down uh-huh I'm just showing you what's happening in my mouth very warms us they got their chewy the dark on the inside I think I can get this down did you say so bitter the thing is you got to get it down before the Apple goes away okay it's too rubbery I'm just gonna swallow it as like a package how you do that okay look up Oh swallow it let me see yours you show you mine oh you show you mine I feel me yours oh no it's unpleasant let suppose it man knock-knock is it demon kids running for the hills hahaha ringworm pop will it candy but now you know and now that you do know none of us ever have to do that again thanks for liking commenting and subscribing you know what time it is watch good mythical crew tomorrow morning right here on this channel if you want to see how that buttercup was made that was the best one and you can get the recipe tomorrow week through to good mythical more we're gonna get Stevie to eat a squishing oh this just in turkeys are the smartest what I'm just getting I'm just getting word from the studio that turkeys are the smartest fact the smartest Bob yes yeah I feel weird I feel weird about eating them now but I don't know I just I love I love it it's like a chicken but a little bit more Boulevard and smarter and smarter yes I don't need to add I hate the breasts Oh God
