Why "Sponge On The Run" SUCKS

this animation kind of like claymation style it looks like did they like watch The Lego Movie and they were like yep I don't know I think it's Unique and it looks good it's like almost clamation to me this looks like when people are like here's the hyperrealistic mod for GTA 5 yeah you know that like already realistic looking game no all the roads are freaking drenched and like reflect the sun into your eyes all the time yeah they're covered in silver paint the cars are like made out of mirrors and not the mirrors that you can already get in the game everything is Chrome future my issue with it is that it's still SpongeBob and we could have just made a SpongeBob movie and we could have called it SpongeBob SpongeBob good morning Patrick is Nickelodeon aware that um I guess so the music kids are listening to does not sound like this anymore did it ever it did when we were like four well to be fair this movie came out like fairly recently so the kids are listening to like 50,000 different types of music none of the 50,000 types of music are that the only people I know that listen to that are 20 plus good morning Squidward and isn't it a lovely morning nope you want to hear a fun fact about octopi sure see octopus see o o octopi have uh octop octop octop listen octopi have one tentacle that is shorter than the others and it is what you think it is so why do we think Squidward has a nose hot take Squidward is not a squid no he's an octopus enjoy it while you can Mr Eugene crabs what the oh that thing was just lodged in oh yeah that's how his eye got to the other side of it over favorite part right now is that SpongeBob is deliberately cooking all different sizes for his patties like a monster oh God oh my God they're all different you would think by now he would be good at this after 25 years of being the fry cook don't they come Frozen yeah which is even better did you know that in the future everything will be automated why is she so furry I mean I know she's a squirt but like realistic realistic she looks somehow more fake than you know the cartoon animation I'm pretty sure the cartoon version had some form of eyelids whereas she right now is just you're going to replace me with a robot don't do it no silly that's going to happen anyway McDonald's I love touching their really sticky things oh the touch screens got to use like your pinky knuckle honestly yeah just Auto get it cuz it's automatic God I wonder I wonder if if Plankton will will use this there's no way Plankton uses the machine there's absolutely no way that Plankton uses the machine he's going to hack it the movie hasn't happened yet but I swear to God if Plankton hacks the machine hello crabby paty why doesn't bro just order a burger if this is all he needs yeah he could literally hire someone he could buy one himself and then just reverse in engineer it they they won't let him buy one cuz I think he's tried that but like he could just hire someone to buy one for him wait wait no no fake coin so it just like crumpled no no oh oh well he's just dead he should be yeah planked and just dies there's no more him SC where are you this is like when I saw that missing dog sign the other day well I'll find the picture whatever I sent to Bren but it was like color white black brown gray I'm like yeah that could be anything the picture of it just looked like a dog and it was black and white so you had to kind of guess a dog is Dog color I loved you since the first day we met hello little snail hello little SM what's with the Reverb for real memory it's a flashback flashbacks have reverbs what's your name beep beep beep beep I don't know why I like Plankton saying beep beep beep beep we must be dreaming two people can't have the same dream like alone be in that same dream at the same time except when that happened in the last movie CL one on the surface and we're breathing air so yeah you know that thing they did in the other I'm just going to stop saying that at this point but they had superpowers in that one super in this because they were super oh my God cuz they they talked to the mystical dolphin man yeah and in the first movie they were just on the surface and then they died not until they went under the heat lamp this is definitely like you can feel the difference in in the movies in terms of like the first one had that 20005 the second one had it was just like if 2012 vomited a movie everywhere and this one just has this cold 2020s we made it 3D and tried to make it serious for the children but it sucks hello who are you I am a simple tumble weed call me Sage oh my God it's Keanu Reeves from Reddit I think it'd be funnier if they just called him Keanu Reeves named Keanu Reeves I get it it's a ghost town flesh eating Pirates zombies to be precise that's why they look like Pirates free these zombies from their Earthly binds and release their souls can you imagine being ke Reeves and they're like hey you're a really popular beloved actor right now can you say free the these zombies from their Earthly binds for a SpongeBob movie actually I really don't hate this idea of like this dumb like just random tumble weed orb thing with an actress head in it I find that extremely funny but they don't make it funny they don't make it funny it's just there good luck I love that at least the visual bits are funny just him like and then going away that's awesome oh they're going to dance aren't they yeah okay oh this is the best in the movie [Music] brand Snoop boob sponge dog I'm going to go pee while this scene's going no no I'm pausing it while you're G this is the best scene in the entire movie it it's so relevant it's relevant to the story it makes sense it has people I love and like especially when I'm 8 years old and know about things um so it's cool cuz it's like SpongeBob you know from SpongeBob Snoop Dog wake up your dream is fired hey so far this road trip movie much like the first movie after the secret formula is getting stolen and SpongeBob is gone they make a stop in a bar and have to sprint out of there quickly in a car if they lose their car here we're going to hit Bingo cuz it's just the first movie again well they woke up from a dream not even a real place was it a dream yes it was why did we need to do that because we needed the same plot Point as the first movie where they stop in a bar side quest it must have been a dream more of a vision really the little stick just as always ke Reeves is the best part of any movie he's in get out of there re it's not a video chat app like Skype or FaceTime or anything Skype Skype reference in 2020 when this came out Skype existed for a while for some unknown reason it sure did oh look the Skype app is still on my computer I'm opening it right now oh Skype is not on my computer it did not come pre-installed you can now make 911 call on Skype can you imagine like help someone has broke into my [Music] house what is that I haven't used it in like beware young Seekers all is Distortion all is Distortion oh God I love gelling I love clamation Las Vegas I love money I love gambling one bazillion jillion dollars just put it on L Patrick that's not an L that's a seven seven starts with an L it's weird I love how this movie just straight up has gambling in it look at this octopus that isn't like Squidward anyway yeah I know also it's another scene in another SpongeBob movie where they wake up after all night partying out of place why don't you just watch the first two movies this movie doesn't need to exist I've got a little something for you I think I've made my point oh no oh wait did did we lose focus like I told you not to my brain every single day Gary yeah Gary yeah Gary Gary the snout is actively insane how much he's phoning it in he's dying inside don't want to be here Gary Fred Gary Fred Gary I like fred is this going to be one of those things where uh Gary almost doesn't want to go back with SpongeBob cuz he's living the life and getting attention after uh he ignored Gary at the beginning of the movie and he was sad about it like that episode this movie is about to go places that no movie should ever go so what you mean to tell me is this is another Lego Movie too where it was kind of boring and now it's just going to take off for no reason no this isn't like The Lego Movie too it's the exact opposite of The Lego Movie too oh so it actually gets good no no no no no no no it's a transform it's a [Music] sub it's the same bit from the second movie cuz he was playing the tiny piano for very similar bit this movie there's nothing they came up with for it it's so IR irritating it's gone I love this frame of a SpongeBob it is terrifying that's scary yeah I love when he makes that face are you serious right now well maybe you can believe this I'm out of here that's the first genuinely really funny bit in this movie that's wild it is hey also why is there just an entire axe in inside the prisoner chamber um in case you're done with being in prison I guess so the lock is just like on one of the bars I didn't even see the lock yeah it's just chilling in the middle of the gate it's like the first time I tried to use a bike lock and I didn't know how it worked and I just like put it on a random piece I was like yeah that seems fine and then I was like oh wait that doesn't do anything hold it let's go I'd like to say something in SpongeBob's defense it does not please the court let's go God I'm so hype right now let's go are you ready to be even more disappointed in fact that's where we all met you know the best part about these flashback scenes is that they made a whole TV show about Camp Coral so that if you want more of these flashback scenes but actual episodes you can go watch Camp Coral right now on Paramount plus has anyone ever seen Camp Coral you can watch it on Paramount plus if you in the comments like and enjoy Camp Coral please tell me so I can tally one person having the for ude to try and rescue a friend I was just a lonely bump on a log when I first met him no flashback flashback I love flashbacks stop is this how we fill out the last 30 minutes of this movie seriously yeah that is the last all of this movie is each one of the characters getting their own little flashback that's basically just an ad for the TV show that they made that is the worst thing ever it's so good how did they end this movie was such a wet fart this is bad it's so good it's so amazing I love it dude like imagine if you were watching The Incredibles 2 but then they ended it with all the characters getting scanned into like a 3D thing that turns them into McDonald's toys and then they talk about how much they love kids meals to get Incredibles toys at McDonald's that's what this feels like this is like when EA made the Sim City game and they were like hey you can build the Progressive Insurance building so that your citizens can have Progressive Insurance I bath the audience with the sounds of my heavenly clarinet [Music] playing I remember showing you a My Heart Will Go On meme when we were hanging out in 2015 and it was still a little past its prime then and it was funnier than this still because the notes were like high pitched and annoying this just sounds bad I remember specific things like that but then people are like hey you need to do this super important thing tomorrow and my brain's like yeah that's not important information no Mommy I was right me when my parents named me Rob at Birth I was wronged tag your friends to totally Rob them heck I'd probably mention how he encouraged me to start up my own restaurant you should open up your own restaurant Som I just want to mention that this is retconning the entirety of the Crusty Krab training episode Bren you don't get it they explain all of this in the original Paramount plus Nickelodeon TV show known as Camp caral SpongeBob Camp caral it's just all are weer I can't even lie to you the last 20 minutes of this movie have been so boring that I've been playing Retro Bowl and still have been able to keep up with everything that's been happening in the movie I forgot I started a new roster so I don't have my stats they're ending with an unironic musical number about how friendship keeps them all together I feel like normal SpongeBob would do something like this but as a bit but this is not a bit you know what this feels like do you guys remember when they hiked up for like weeks The Best Day Ever episode and then it was the lamest episode of SpongeBob that's ever happened ever yeah all the commercials for like a month where ever and like I was so excited for it and I watched it and then I went oh I don't have any friends is this why he was so evil is cuz he didn't have any friends what's important is inside with the power of friendship and um Camp Coral available at Paramount plus I hate this movie this movie feels like it was written by iMessage autof Phil God I wish there was more dialogue in this movie like this this movie sucks cuz there's not enough them talking about the power of friendship they should be talking about Camp Coral on Paramount plus I'm going to give this movie an underwear streak out of 10 do we have to listen to the musical it's the song Take on me the song is in every movie ever made it's in every movie that was a movie bad bad bad I'm glad I watched a commercial for an hour and a half that was awesome I rate That Snail out of 10 I'm never going to watch this movie ever again I like how the SpongeBob movies progressively get worse and worse this one just genuinely is not worth watching yeah see like the first the first one's like must watch the second one's like yeah you can watch it and this one's like you never should have made it well we do have other SpongeBob movie reaction videos you can watch well if you liked it then like it and go watch the other ones right now have a day
