the Warlock is a really powerful class in balers SK 3 whether you multiclass it or keep it a mono class in this video we will go over the most powerful mono class as well as multiclass and see what the advantages are for both and what suits you personally the most now I can already say that both are very strong options and you really can't go wrong with either but I'm going to start off with the more underrated one the mono class yes 12 levels in Warlock and nothing else not a single other class is even touched now what kind of advantages do you really get when you go 12 levels in warlock well the most obvious one is that all your spells will be automatically up gasted to level five and there are a lot of spells that benefit from being up gasted including some of the iconic warlock spells for example the armor of agius while at level one it does five coal damage if you get hit when enjoying the perks of being a level 12 Warlock and it automatically being up gasted to level five it does an insane 25 damage per hit so you're essentially going to kill off enemies on their turn while they're attacking you it comes a really powerful Shield that just makes life a hell for your opponents and it works with all kinds of offensive spell as well that start hitting a lot harder when used as a level five up gasted spell for cc related abilities it's also absolutely great as well want to use hold person on four different targets well yes you can and then obviously you can still use all your powerful AE spells like hunger of haar and other spells as well in addition if if you want to know more about all the Warlock specific spells and how warlock just in general Works including using the powerful combos like the one revolving around darkness and just everything you need to know regarding the Warlock glass and iconic spells then check out my warlock early game build video which goes over the first six levels and shows you how to make your warlock as powerful as possible early on in the first six levels you can already get a bunch of iconic spells and already make your warlock insanely powerful the video goes also over all other important details like party composition and basically all the basics that you need to know so for the first six levels that video has you covered and you really don't want to start multiclassing anyways Free level six because you'll be simply spreading your levels too thin and not get much out of it you get your pack at level three you get a feat at level four then at level five you get another eldrich blast and unlock powerful spells like hunger of haar so just stick to Mono classing till level six post level six however you now have the choice to just keep leveling warlock or perhaps respect and start multic you buy more than three dis plates now like I already me over the mono class one major benefit of being a warlock is that warlocks also reset their spell slots every short rest so you can use at least nine level five spells each long rest and if you have a part which I highly do recommend for any party with warlocks you get another short rest for free so it adds 12 level five spells every long rest that is a lot of power projection but you also still have all your eldr blast in addition to all your level five spells you get at least three per turn which is a significant damage output as a mono class and with Hast that can become six eldrich blast will still deal amazing damage with this setup and that's also due to the gear that we will use for both of these builds that I will go over in a second if you go for the mono class then for your eldrich invocations you absolutely want to start in the first six levels with agonizing blast repelling blast and devil side I went very in depth about these in part one after level seven however you definitely have now more leeway in your options but I would say that the one that gives you the possibility to conjure Elementals is really powerful these Elementals in general are just really powerful and they are a nice addition to your party so I would recommend getting this invocation false life is also nice it basically just gives you extra HP for completely free till your next long rest so why not right and if you want something that like useful from a roleplaying perspective I would definitely recommend to get billing influence a lot of the checks in the game are either persuasion or deception checks so this thing helps out Aon with that for your Feats as a mono class I'm definitely going to recommend getting ability Improvement in Charisma just put two points in it for your first feet and then for your second feet I would get dual wielder and for your third feet War gaster why dual wielder well you will know why in a second when we get to gear and warter because it makes life so much easier for us in maintaining our concentration spells and we definitely have a lot of powerful concentration spells as a warlock from Hunger of haar to cloud of daggers to hex to Darkness so many things and then spells well I'm just going to give you a list of generally good spells because it's kind of preference based the ones in green were all extensively covered and showcased in part one and the white ones are once you can get post level seven that will be really good for you for example counter spell helps with negating Annoying enemy spells while other spells give you Cc or just more damage just good options in in general that was the monoc class option but the multiclass option is very powerful as well it leans Less on the prolific warlock spells and making use of a lot of spells and more on Sorcerer And just getting the most eldrich blasts per turn because the reality is eldrich blast is just one of the best spells in the game so if you make a build revolving around it that one maximizes the damage output of each individual Elder blasts and then two gives you as many Elder blast as possible per turn well nothing is safe anymore and with this build you can cast up to 12 super buffed eldrid blasts in a single turn this is because we're going to go with two Fighter start out with that to get the Proficiency in Constitution which helps out tremendously with maintaining our concentration spells and fighter also gives you a bunch of proficiencies in armor and weapon related proficiency so that is always nice because it basically opens up a lot more options if you want to explore those options and Level Two fighter also gives us action search which means we get another action in addition to our normal actions so we can attack twice that then after the two levels in fighter we get two levels in warlock for unlocking eldrid blast some useful warlock spells like hex and armor of agius and more importantly for this build in particular the two eldrich invocations tie to Elder blast that will ramp up its damage and utility significantly one final thing to note is that with my setup for this particular idea and build we will crit a lot making the great old one a perfect option to go for for your sub class as it will potentially frighten enemies every time we crit and not just the one you're attacking but also surrounding enemies and that's obviously very powerful when you're actively increasing the chance to crit then we get eight levels in sorcerer I would highly recommend draconic sorcerer as your subass and choose any of the fire related ones as we will be utilizing a lot of fire spells in this build as well which spells you want to get is really up to you but here are a few good recommendations from my side and I would say at the very least to technically get fireball at level five sorcerer this will function as our AOE nuke when we don't want to be just a machine gun eldrich Blaster and it's very useful for those scenarios where a lot of enemies are just grouped together also get scorching Ray for sure as well as it benefits a lot from the gear that we will use and it functions in a similar way like eldrich blast but it instead uses a sorcerer spell slot giving us a lot more utility in that way and finally my third most high recommendation is absolutely going to be wall of fire we can use it to Zone enemies and tactically kill them off if they try to approach us through choke point and like I mentioned our draconic lineage with a fire dragon will boost all of our fire damage so all of these spells that I just mentioned will be buffed and that is a nice addition as well for Feats we're going to go with dual wielder to enable our dual wielding setup because we're going to both be using the spell sparkler staff as well as the knife of the under Mountain King now as we get three Elder blasts per Elder blast cast we will build up lightning charges extremely fast through spell sparkler and that en loads in a bunch of extra lighning damage so essentially our damage output becomes absolutely Bonkers then with the knife of the under Mountain King we will reduce our chance to flop by giving us the potential to roll very low rolls as well as make critting for ourselves a lot easier to enhance our crits even more we will use our second feat with this Two fighter two warlock eight sorcerer setup to get spell sniper and these two synergize because they can in fact stack making the chance for us to crit even better and now that's not all because we're also going to incorporate a bunch of advantage in our gear through the risky ring and this thing works with all our eldrich blast spam so every blast gets Advantage meaning we have a naturally higher chance to crit because we roll to die for every roll instead of just one makes a lot of sense to get it right in practice we are going to crit a lot now as you see from these random examples we crit basically every turn and multiple times as well within those turns the damage output is absolutely insane but that's just the start of the gear because with the risky ring we can now also reliably use the spell m gloves the spell m gloves give you a penalty to your attack roll but thanks to our high Charisma as well as having advantage on all of our beams we pretty much negate the penalty and enjoy that extra 1d8 roll to our damage for the other ring I would recommend getting the killer sweetheart for even more quits and for the amulet I would then recommend the spell Crocs Amulet the spell Croc amulet gives us an additional spell s for free and basically this is really nice with both the monoc class build as well as the multiclass build because these additional spells are always welcome for our rope we get one of the most important pieces for this build we get the potent rope just to read the description we get additional damage to all our grip so all of our Elder blasts equal to our Charisma modifier and we will have a high Charisma modifier because we're going to get as many points as possible in Charisma and this is an enormous amount of extra damage when you realize how many eldrich blasts we have per turn to accommodate that and make sure our chrisma is as high as possible then we get the birthright hat for our hat for two more levels in Charisma as well as use ati's hair and the mirror of loss for three more levels in Charisma giving us a bunch of extra Charisma make sure to start out with these points as well as this is going to be the best for facilitating these builds and you'll have great overall stats across the board now for our cloak we're going to get the cloak of the weave gives us a plus one to our attack rolls and spell safe DC and for boots we get the disintegrating night Walkers which helps out tremendously with navigating annoying terrain as well as give us Missy step for completely free so we don't have to take it when leveling n May or may not know Missy step gives us a ton of utility in the movement and mobility department which is really nice then to finish off our build we're going to get the dark fire bow which will grant us haste for free which is insanely good for this build as well as give us some additional resistances it's easily the best bow in the game for this build so how all of that then translates ultimately and works for this build is that thanks to our gear we now have a bunch of extra damage very high chance to create advantage on all of our beams we build up lightning charges for even more damage have good armor class and resistances and we now maximize the number of eldr blast per turn through haste and another thing that helps us out with eldr blast is the already mentioned action search that we got by investing two levels in fighter but also the possibility to use Mata magic as a sorcerer so for level two ma magic I would just get twin and distant meta magic but for level three sorcerer definitely get quickened meta magic with the meta magic we can now hit up to 12 eldrid spat in a single turn and that looks something like this we first make sure that we have haste on ourselves we can apply it preemptively which already grants us six Elder blasts per turn then we can use action search for another three ELD blast and quick and meta magic for another tree blast so that is a whopping 12 blasts Now One Elder blast is on average already going to deal like 25 to 30 damage so 12 of these is like easily going to be 300 or more damage per turn now obviously we can't get 12 blast every single turn since we have action search and we only have one action search per long rest but we can routinely Blast for nine Elder blast per turn and at the very least most of the time have six blasts due to haste and the Quicken meta magic so that in itself is already like 200 to 250 damage consistently per turn it's absolutely amazing making this one of the most powerful builds possible in existence it's just so much power per turn using a grip essentially and then we still also have a bunch of spells to use in addition if
