What if Lebron James played in the NFL?

so it's no secret that lebron james is one of the best athletes in the history of the world he's been dominating the nba since 2003 when he was a rookie but what may be lesser known is that lebron was actually a tremendous high school receiver and while it you know could be seen that lebron would be a tight end in the nfl this guy was a receiver in high school and for the sake of the video i think he's gonna get more targets and be more dominant at receiver tight ends just don't really produce in simulation the way that receivers do and lebron also was a dominant high school receiver and even when urban meyer was a receiver's coach at notre dame of course before uh florida and before ohio state and now with the jacksonville jaguars he was a receivers coach at notre dame and tried to get lebron james supposedly the number one receiver number one player in the state of ohio growing up to play there there's so many different articles that follow this so this obviously would not be shocking if you guys didn't know or couldn't have guessed that lebron james was an unbelievable high school player when you have athletes like this they all play multiple sports in high school and they're pretty dominant like allen iverson like there's so many different players that are two sports stars from baseball basketball football you know these guys do it all quick highlight of lebron james playing high school football it's pretty much all i have but his stats were also really really good as well i mean when you're six foot eight in high school you're probably gonna be a little bit better than a lot of the other guys you're going up against and his numbers were really really good let me find them here i just saw them he didn't play his senior season but as a junior lebron james had 57 catches for over 1100 yards and 16 touchdowns and this is a high school season this is not like a typical nfl season with 16 and soon to be 17 games these are way fewer games and he had 57 catches for over 1100 yards and 16 touchdowns crazy numbers and then just said i'm not going to play football my senior year i'm focusing on basketball and i'm pretty sure he made the right decision it's up in the air but i would say probably yeah that's what i was looking for this is what lebron posted on instagram a while back and this is what he was listed at 6 8 232 with an apparent four six 40 yard dash so not terrible speed for someone that's six eight two thirty two it is hand time was probably more like four seven plus um but it says the number one football prospect in the state of ohio probably won't be playing football much longer that was true of course i'm speaking of lebron james the nation's premier basketball player who was a taller slower version of randy moss on film he was a ball player ready made for the nfl game at the wide receiver position yes 68232 how many high school guys you know that are 230 pounds playing a receiver like julio jones that are also six eight huge hands runs tremendous routes and can out leap every defender not like he would even need to he's six eight and uh shows surprising speed for such a big guy and then they showed his 60 passes for 1200 yards 16 touchdowns which kind of contradicts the 57 or 59 catches for 1100 plus yards and 16 td so this article clearly round up a little bit but we're taking lebron james into madden maybe would have played at notre dame with urban meyer if he chose to do that but also ohio state is in state where lebron grew up he's also a huge ohio state fan so i decided let's throw him onto ohio state play for the buckeyes and throw him into this draft class so with jamar chase davonte smith jayla waddle and now lebron james enters the class as well i put him as a fourth receiver it's a really strong receiver class and i don't want him to just certainly go to one of the top teams picking like we've seen with almost every other career simulation or career reason this one's a little bit different but it's gonna be interesting to see what team drafts lebron james and then we're gonna follow his career maybe jump in see how he performs i mean he's six nine so it should be a little bit fun to play with six nine fun to play with hold up and as we simulate to the draft i'm not going to be staying on the giants forever i'll likely change to whatever team drafts lebron so he can make sure he gets the most targets possible most yard most touchdowns just have an all-around dominant career if you guys are new here please hit that subscribe button would mean the world to me as we had to go into week 17 if you start at the playoffs the draft order is super messed up it changes to projected 2022 nfl draft so don't want that so we decided here to uh just jump in the draft order isn't particularly important we're just kind of seeing where lebron goes not like hey i we need to see where every single player in the draft class goes it's not super important there goes devante smith jalen waddle to the eagles chargers go darasaw i wonder if the giants would take lebron go rashaan slater that makes sense no way lebron james is going to new england joining the new england patriots my goodness i think lebron's a cowboys fan in real life we're not going to call that a bandwagon or anything because i mean i i guess we will because he followed the cowboys when they were winning super bowls in the 90s so whatever it's neither here nor there lebron would love this with his bandwagon ways going up to the patriots oh my it would have been cool to see lebron go to the cleveland browns play for a local team or even somewhere in la where he is now or miami because he was on the heat for a while but lebron going to the patriots dude he's going to become even more of a villain i don't know how people hate on lebron like i appreciate his greatness even if you don't root for his team like i guess there was a while where i'm like ah man i hate tom brady or whatever when i was a child not that i'm still not young but i appreciate tom brady i don't like the patriots i'm a giants fan yet i know tom brady is the best player of all time the accolades the performance the everything about tom brady backs it up and lebron in the nba he's without question one of the top two players of all time you got to show him the respect so this is lebron as a prospect you know he looks as much like lebron nowadays as i could make it there's no like like player face editor you just choose from a number of different like portraits and this one i thought was fairly close neck looking weird as hell though and uh 69 250 nice gave me 89 speed i think that's fair you know lebron wouldn't be like an amazing speed guy in the nfl but that you know does have good speed for his size at 6 9 250. rout running made that fairly decent but he really shines as someone that can go up at high point the football solid release 99 jumping someone that just would dominate because of his size strength and ability to high point the football especially in the red zone kind of gave him like that dk metcalf build minus a little bit of speed of course gotta put lebron in the slot slot receivers in simulation dominate so i think we're all set for his rookie year let's simulate year one see how it went so the team would go seven and nine and make the playoffs won the division actually bills went seven and nine how good was the offense though i mean cam newton had a pretty good year 4300 yards 37 passing touchdowns we're focused on lebron who had a pretty good rookie year all things considered i'd say 90 catches for 1200 plus yards nine touchdowns his longest catch was 38 yards only but averaged over 77 yards per game pretty unbelievable there 14 yards to catch did he do anything else superstar deb by the way up to an 85 overall i doubt he would have a rushing attempt or anything else maybe would have a tackle but don't really care about all that not a returner but pretty good year for lebron as a rookie all things considered and i suppose we will check out the awards see if he won offensive rookie of the year i find it unlikely with quarterbacks but it is possible it is possible so let's see afc offensive rookie of the year justin fields we got lebron at number five wasn't even the highest receiver cadarius tony at number four just ahead of him best receiver what goes to the rookie kedarius tony lebron at number three i think we're gonna jump in here at first and just see how lebron looks on the field you probably have seen the thumbnail i went in and got it earlier and i just put him on the browns so this is a little bit different he goes to the evil empire of the nfl playing for the new england patriots and we're gonna start out on offense and i mean it's arcade i'm just out here throwing lebron for fun i'm not doing this to be like oh man lebron's great we're we're just gonna see him make some crazy plays he's actually super open don't need arcade mode for that lebron snags it and he falls down lebron james easy touchdown first play of his playoff career is a 75 yard touchdown and it's tough to catch up to six foot nine lebron james we can run like that yeah he's he's fast as hell cam newton unloads drops it almost 60 yards in the air to lebron james corner was no match it's an easy celebration from there you know that actually kind of looked like uh like the way lebron celebrated that kind of looked like dwyane wade his reaction after he lobs it up to lebron that famous picture i'll pull it up i mean this was that not the exact celebration was dwyane wade doing that lebron mimicking dwyane wade even though in this alternate timeline they never would have even played together i don't even want to see lebron james get over the top though i just want to see him moss people that's what i want how good is he after the catch can you truck people always he can a little bit i mean he's 69 250. he's the biggest player on the field provided uh the offensive lineman are not six foot nine which that's that's pretty tall for no lyman lebron you got to go up and get it lechoke lebron drops it what is that hits him right in and using those basketball skills boxing out the defender going up making the catch you go wow dude really i had no idea i'm awesome lebron oh there it is [Applause] lebron james monster mismatch 36-yard td can i get a replay show me that beautiful next-gen replay show it's me newton longest release ever lobs it up lebron mismatch i mean there's simply no match there's no one that can cover that size and that speed he's like kyle pitts but three or four inches taller up 30 to seven and that is the game decided to simulate the rest we saw lebron in action this year and this is not even at his peak performance big drop for him a little weird i wonder if we're gonna be able to beat the chiefs in the division this should be a tough one don't have any skill points for lebron at this moment in time but i think our playoff run might be coming to an end and it is 44 to 14. the chiefs take us out behind the barn and shoot us in the head jesus of course i'm not handling anything to do with uh signing drafting trading players at all everything's on auto the cpu is taking care of all of it this is not a rebuild i've done many many many many rebuilds on the channel this is a career sim so if you want to see a rebuild go check out that playlist but this is just following the career of lebron jumping in occasionally we're not doing any team building here and cam newton's gone but they brought in kyle trask to replace him in the draft so that's interesting trey sermon as well ohio state i guess teammate of lebron in this storyline as lebron has been upgraded to superstar x factor after an unbelievable year i think we'll give him double me maybe i think that's kind of a fun one and what else is this new i don't even know what that some of these are uh we'll give them recuperation i find that to be fairly good and then maybe red zone threat is that what i want no we'll give them we'll give them route technician recuperation is good for like other positions but i think we're just going to rock out with what i have who's our first pick oh jc jackson of the superstar who was their first pick in the draft got dalvin tomlinson i haven't i guess kyle trask was the first round pick i'm trying to figure it out oh that's right kyle trask would have been lebron james draft class who did they draft in the first round this year i have no idea another ohio state player pretty good tackle jamal russell 71 overall as long as he was not a first round pick first round pick okay 25th overall though so you could have done worse the patriots would not make the playoffs in 2022 but how did our guy lebron james perform so kyle trask was quite a step down from what cam newton did a season prior but lebron did not seem to struggle with him at all as his numbers are near identical in terms of overall production a few more touchdowns i think the yards is very similar the average per game might be identical to 77.8 to 77.6 it's three yards more on 11 fewer catches did have more touchdowns i think anyone would prefer his 2022 to his 2021 91-yard catch for lebron as well in what was a very good year too for him as far as yearly awards goes brock parties on the browns they're just done with baker what's going on best receiver goes to robbie anderson lebron james at three i think he will eventually win a best receiver i suppose the time is not yet now for that why did i say that like that i mean it's technically correct i guess the time is not yet now it sounds so weird made a second pro bowl in two years so you'd love to see that and i want i think eventually one of these i don't i don't know if i like red zone threat i don't know i don't know if it does anything for simulation still and robbie anderson's now on the patriots now as is baker mayfield devin singletary as well man they really went all out to upgrade this offense and i appreciate it lebron james up to a 90 overall and i'm hoping for a very very big year three from him his upgraded attributes are as follows 85 short route running is he getting slot upgraded a lot or like red zone threat maybe is that where physical is probably the archetype 81 medium route running 71 deep overall catchings fantastic 91 catching 94 catching traffic 96 spectacular catch to go with 96 release the route running is just quite poor and the speed has not gone up either so only physical is being upgraded right now i almost wonder if the move is to turn off auto progress and just work on route running myself just do deep threat into lebron a lot make him more dynamic 2023 and the patriots once again do not make the playoffs seven and nine which was a playoff record a few years ago baker at 4 500 yards but the touchdowns are not particularly high and the interceptions are particularly high not ideal and lebron james i didn't put him in the slot i guess oh my i gotta do that every year i totally forgot he's not in the slot because oscar cologne had 1300 yards and 10 touchdowns for oscar lebron here had 70 catches hey not bad 764 yards and a td one touchdown he's six nine throw him the ball oh my goodness all right that's on me i needed to make him a uh a slot receiver and i completely forgot and that's that's funny oscar cologne i would call him oscar right but like clearly with the last name cologne he's not he's not an oscar maybe he is i don't know i don't know him he's a 67 overall one best receiver in the league because he was in the slot get out of here that's lebron spot a freaking kyrie irving over here overshadowing him we'll simulate to 2024 or who do we still have here so still baker's still robbie anderson even though he's regressing cologne has seven skill points he might actually be decent now but he's not gonna overshadow lebron who needs to go back in the slot josh sweat got brought in dude lebron is the highest overall slot player in the team just put him there lebron is up to a 92 overall though i've been working on deep and medium route running with deep threat we're gonna make that his game if i can get him a speed boost into the 90s i think that would be great as well but that might be asking for a little bit too much i think it's possible he can get up to 90 speed maybe if they're at that threshold sometimes they don't always go up into the next tier so a little bit concerned about that let's see what happens no playoffs again in 2024 why is this team so ass it's a 7-9 machine is jeff fisher our coach might have to check on that why are we losing so many games is it our offense uh office it often jesus well our offense doesn't appear to be amazing defense doesn't appear to be that bad i mean baker had a great year that's an unbelievable year so what is it lebron had his best year ever 97 catches for 1500 yards and 14 touchdowns all you have to do stick him in the slot and he will get touchdowns that's just simulation in a nutshell hey plus four deep route running we like to see that overall it's not changing but i don't care i just want his ability to change deep route running is going up a lot hopefully medium is a little bit as well i haven't really been looking out for that one show me speed hey there it is plus one speed lebron into the 90s route running's coming along a long ways and we're starting to look pretty good lebron probably would have won receiver of the year if i had to guess as baker won mvp of course of the seven and nine patriots also offensive player of the year best receiver is finally lebron james well deserved but at the same time we're not in the playoffs still we go seven to nine every year you're gonna have to do a little bit better than that to be a playoff team and we're just we're just not there yet third pro bowl for lebron the only season he didn't make the pro bowl was you know last year where i forgot to change him to slot receiver it's like his real career right the only time he has not made an all-star team was his rookie year if i recall is that correct let's see here lebron james is a 16-time all-star he's been an all-star literally every single year except for his rookie year at 19. baker mayfield going up to superstar x factor that could be very very big for our offense and for the future of this team i'm gonna try lebron at receiver 2 as well because robbie anderson had a ton of catches and he wasn't in the slot so i wonder if receiver 2 could do quite well in this playbook and simulation i'm running titans like west coast zone run or something like that so we will see what happens this year i have a prediction and it's 7-9 this shouldn't really be a surprise to anybody finally back in the playoffs at 10 and six won the division eighth best offense in baker threw for almost 4 800 yards this led the league defense playing okay but baker crushed it and i wonder what that means for lebron as a receiver means almost 1600 yards and yes robbie anderson only 82 catches this year this year because lebron had all of them receiver two and slot receivers to play 106 catches 1600 yards 15.1 yards per catch and 19 tds averaged 100 yards per game almost almost what a year for lebron who is almost a better deep and medium route runner than he is a short route runner they're tied right now pretty much by average so that should change here in a minute if we boost this up a little bit and i didn't even see what happened it doesn't really matter morale is uh keeping him at a 96 overall deep route running goes up even more he goes to a 97 now morale plus two so he's a 95 awareness plus three deep route running and medium route running both into the 90s he's still a physical type though let's see what just route runner overall will do only two of them medium and short so we're looking at almost every route running stat in the 90s we know lebron is probably going to win receiver of the year as every team in the league went 10-6 okay i look at him falcons 10-6 bills 10-6 patriots 10-6 ravens chiefs bengals 10-6 everybody went 10-6. except for you know the browns obviously of course they're gonna do more than that receiver of the year is lebron it was never gonna be anybody else let's check out the legacy leaderboard real quick lebron is where currently behind kendrick bourne is this a joke kendrick moore's 31 now in this i mean it makes sense it's just it's kind of weird to see him so old like odell is 32. how is odell one year older than kendrick bourne that doesn't make sense to me we just need lebron to win some super bowls zero hasn't made an afc championship maybe this is the year i have my doubts but maybe it was not the year we lost by td and we head to 2026. what did this team do in 2026 lebron's gonna be wide receiver two behind daz newsom stud david nijoku's in here anything good on defense ah kind of not really like ulysses gilbert is the best linebacker on the team on the inside which is not ideal so we got lebron in the classic now receiver two spot but as you can see he's played five years in the league and he signed a big contract extension worth a lot of money he's got three years remaining on that deal total salary is 42.2 with a 32 million dollar bonus the cap hit gets near 20 million in 2028 so lebron is gonna stay with the patriots probably for all of the 2020s and he has just been dominant so far probably looking forward to his best season of all time so i will see you at the end of this season and we will see how lebron did i'll upgrade the rest of the team as well of course relax i'm doing it okay back in the playoffs at eight and eight did not win the division everyone went eight and eight it appears and baker threw for 4 800 yards this time but it was not even leading the league brock purdy this guy all he does is outperform baker that's it he's like i'm gonna take your job with the browns and he did and then baker's you know playing well and he's like guess what i'm gonna go to the titans which is where our playbook is i'm gonna outperform you still 15 more touchdowns what's happening in tennessee that isn't happening in new england i'll never know i've assumed lebron's gonna be near the top of the league and receiving it's kadarius tony's dumb ass again 19 touchdowns almost 1700 yards my goodness lebron though had a good year 102 catches for 1500 yards 13 tds these are not bad numbers cadarius tony was just on another level that's really what that comes down to lebron's up to a 98 overall route running is now amazing it's just speed that's lagging a little bit behind no pun intended but i mean he's not really a speed guy he's still performing really really well you don't have to have crazy speed to be effective like look at derek cumberland okay he's got 96 tony's fast crystal lava is going back to ohio state i got to take him out of the draft class christian kirk 94 speed somebody better be slow here 91 for olave what about quan ware how good is he 90 speed there you go slow ass bum coursey wood best receiver is cadarius tony this guy is pissing me off the titans in general are just annoying me right now lost again first round of the playoffs it always happens i guarantee you if i was the raiders user controlling them and i simulated this game i guarantee you it would have been a win for the patriots guarantee it's just whatever team you control it's an automatic loss ooh preston williams the god from dolphins franchise was signed on love to see that yeah lebron uh looking pretty um unbelievable right now if i do say so myself so we'll see how 2027 goes i don't even know if i can spend anything with coach xp yeah it's just kicker and punter for player progression and the rest is like fairly irrelevant if i had to be honest so we shall simulate to the playoffs see if we make them did not make the playoffs in 2027 7-9 again baker was unreal though that has to be an mvp 4500 yards 45 touchdowns did throw 16 picks but that's an unreal year receiving oh my goodness lebron james putting up unbelievable numbers 103 catches almost 1800 yards averaging 111 yards per game and 21 touchdowns oh my goodness i mean he's made his sixth pro bowl sixth is a hard word for me to say i don't know why that's the case i can say the word six i can say i don't know other words i'm sure but sixth like the x and t h next to each other listen whoever made that a word bothers me you should have made it like second six six you know what six is probably the best option can't really make it second or first sixth six st what am i talking about listen all you need to know is lebron's going to win receiver of the year and he's trending towards being one of the best receivers in nfl history receiver of the year love to see it however and here's the thing we keep missing the playoffs and i hate it let's check out his contract he's got one year left so this could be his final year in new england if they don't have the salary cap space to resign him we could be looking at lebron on a different team for 2028 2028 looks like the offense took a step up up to an 85 overall why is that because they brought in tyler boyd baker's at a 92 overall well tyler boyd's a new number one and they're gonna be like oh he's gonna play in the slot and i'll tell you something nope he's not going to play in the slot you got pat shirley here looks like a pretty good player surely going to continue to develop only 23 years old so lebron is going into his final year that's right when it hits the playoffs and you don't make the playoffs it still counts as uh or it turns over into the next season so no playoffs but maybe just maybe 2028 will have a different uh thing in store and it is a little bit different because like in the nba a lot of teams make the playoffs but this is like lebron struggling to win that first nba championship and he can't really win in the playoffs in in the nfl he's a receiver you know there's a lot more moving pieces than just one receiver but he's just struggling to you know go far in the playoffs never made a championship game i don't even think we've ever made a divisional round of the playoffs either of course never made a super bowl never won a super bowl maybe in 2028 things will change back in the playoffs 10 wins so things are trending upwards however we're playing the raiders so the you know the run's over that's just pretty much that means the raiders have been stressed uh so strong in sim and baker with another really really good year almost 4 800 yards and lebron had quite a few of those 1600 yards on 103 catches over 100 yards per game and 13 touchdowns we love to see that he also played fewer downs than tyler boyd which is confusing to me i just saw that how did tyler boyd play more than 80 more snaps in lebron how that's that's confusing that really is i assume lebron would have won receiver of the year this tory wade quarterback for the falcons by the way has been dominating consistently you may have seen his name best receiver is lebron again so he liked that probably would have made another pro bowl as well here's the thing here's the thing how does tyler boyd out snap lebron do i have to put lebron back at receiver one and see if that works now that he's a 99 and amazing he's 27 years old probably will play in the league for another roughly 10 years maybe a little bit shorter but i don't think he plays past 37 my cat wants to say something i told a little story about her as he's up to 91 speed 99 pretty much everything as a receiver my mom moved to houston where i live currently and you said hey look after the cat for an afternoon i'll take her back after and she won't take the cat back listen i like the cat right she's been with me for a week and a half it's the longest afternoon of my life and she just like loves to talk and of course we lose in the uh playoffs again we'll simulate to the next season listen i'll show you the cat if you want i'll show you my little cat you know that's what they were that's what they're called yeah she loves to sit behind my chair so it's like if i roll back she's like kill me take me out of this world so here she is i don't know if she wants to say anything she's all talk and then she gets in front of a microphone and she don't even spit like that you know what i'm saying say something nah should i pull inity and just toss her oh wait i have actual human decency these are her eyes if you want to see what a cat's eyes look like she blinked the cats do that apparently but yeah that she looks like a cat she looks like the cat actually that ran on the field uh on monday night football in east rutherford new jersey which is fun because that's where i'm from and i was i living there at the time i don't think so i think i was living in tampa at the time but uh yeah this is this is the cat i wish she could do any tricks but she's a cat she kind of just her trick is she can sleep any time any place so this was her appearance on the video and she's gonna go do whatever cats do now which is she's probably gonna lie down behind the chair and cry lebron back in the slot what is his contract now because he signed a massive extension yeah four years 110 mil 48.4 million signing bonus that will get and his contract gets expensive as expensive as 24.7 mil in 2032. so he's uh he's a pretty expensive and pretty good receiver i think it's safe to say did not make the playoffs in 2029 9-7 so we're flipping our traditional 7-9 is it our defense that's really holding us back no i mean it was good too baker solid year no real complaints with that like 14 picks is really not too bad zamir white is starting back i guess they got tired of sony michelle so they went with another change of pace none rb1 out of georgia i can't wait for that to age like milk as i mean najoku had a crazy year lebron had 112 catches though 1500 yards for lebron 13 tds i wonder if that would be good enough for receiver of the year though it's certainly going to be a pro bowl vote tory wade is just tearing it up at quarterback at cadarius tony starting to piss me off wins receiver of the year again eighth pro bowl made for lebron as well crushing it but again another non playoff team somehow and baker's gone levi harrington is a new man in town well that sucks levi harrington come on man it's that's not baker that's significantly worse all right well ready for another year suck can't wait and it sure was six and ten actually the worst team in the division so that's interesting edward samuels was not the starter somehow or no levi harrington was not the starter edward samuels won the job he's a 74 overall star dev qb and he's 28. they should have went with levi harrington that was a mistake how'd lebron do oh fantastic the best season of his career you say in terms of yards i don't know if you would say it is because he had 21 touchdowns in a year but 115 catches for 1800 yards 17 tds pretty good numbers if that isn't receiver of the year i don't know what is it's got to be it's gotta be and it is lebron's crushing it let's see the legacy receiver leaderboard so larry fitzgerald is number one of course julio's right behind him hall of famer but there's lebron james number three all time juju smith schuster went to baltimore cadarius tony's number five christian kirk chris godwin goes to the jets well i'll tell you i think lebron can pass larry fitzgerald i think that's certainly possible but we'll have to see what happens in 2031. lebron should be going into his age 30 one season maybe i think he's 20. yeah 30 year old lebron two years left on his contract for the 10-year vet 99 everything pretty much except spectacular catch is only 98 so he sucks nine pro bowls led the nfl in catches i believe for the first time ever but is looking pretty good overall 99 overall players usually do and we'll see what 2031 has for him in store are in store for him i want to put him in this lot per usual and watch
