[Applause] - I hear that you've got a
text that not only has you scratching your head but
pulling your hair out. Set it up for us. - So Steve about eight
months ago I met this guy at a friend's party, well
I thought we hit it off, And when I feel like we're
actually getting somewhere, he'll kinda like pull it back and be like maybe we're taking it too fast and I really do like him,
but at the same time, I don't want to feel as if I'm wasting my time on foolishness, you know? I have no time for foolishness,
but I'm really confused. - Okay, alright, well... (Applause) Let's take a look at
the text, I got'em here. So, here's what he said. "Thinking of you, not sure if I can meet up later, something kinda came up." Okay, and then you
replied, "well that sucks, I really wanted to see you. Does tomorrow night work better for you?" Then he said, "yeah, I've
been dying to see you too, Tomorrow works, but I'm only free later, like around 10, 10:30pm." To which she replied, "that will work, hopefully you don't
cancel on me again, lol." And then, he says, "O'Nella,
I don't think you understand. We are just friends with
a little bit on top." (audience cheers disapproval) Okay, now, here's what he really means. First of all, believe a man
when he tell you something. Especially if he tells you the truth. Don't ever lol a serious comment. Don't let a guy off the hook like that. (applause) Cuz you said, "that will work, hopefully you don't cancel on me again, lol." No, you're serious, you
can't keep cancelling on me. My time is valuable, you're not
in control of my time, I am. - Yeah - Now all guys can change
and all guys will change, - Right But there's only one
woman we're changing for. This man is not changing for you. It's okay, it's better to find this now, then to find this out later, see, okay. So let me show you how you
figure this out for real. - Okay - He just told you what it was. - Right - You all are just friends
with a little bit on top. - Yeah, yeah. - And that was kind of a surprise to you. - Yeah, it really broke
my heart a little bit. - I know it did, and
you've gotta understand, she said she'd been talking
to this guy for eight months. This is the first time,
see dudes are slick now. (laughter) That's why see you goin
to get this information way faster than eight months. - Okay - The rest of this is just conversation to hold your attention, he's
been holding your attention. So let me tell you something,
here's what he said. "Yeah I've been dying to
see you too, tomorrow works, but I'm only free later
like around 10, 10:30." - It's always at night. - It's always at night. - Yeah, unfortunately. - Let me explain something to you. Booty call I would do in the week is 10pm. (cheers and applause) Booty call, hours change,
they move up early cuz everybody gotta go to
work, gotta go to school. So booty calls during
the week is 10, 10:30. Was this text during the week? - Yeah, it was, it was. (applause) - So all of that was just
to hold your attention. - Okay - And then when you seem
like you want it more, you said, "that will work, hopefully you don't cancel on me
again, lol, hahaha." So he said, "oh she
canceling but she laughing. Will this be a good time to tell her? I don't think you understand. We just friends with a little bit on top." So don't try to make
me think I can't cancel and then come back and
get it when I want it. Oh you hate him now don't you? - Yeah! (laughs)
