Upgraded Shield, How Bulletproof is it???

Robert I got a brand new sniper check this out so pretty right nice I got a new sniper to do yeah yeah let's see it say hello to my little friend welcome to demolition ranch today I have two guests one is Nicolas Irving you guys all know and love this guy what's up dude we have some cool stuff to do you're gonna like it so the next is Robert Oberst what's up bro so this is Roberts first time on the channel Robert is a professional strongman one of the top 10 in the world he is strong and pretty which I love that saying I think it's great what what do you do how long you been doing it uh I've been professor strongman for about six years and basically I travel all around the world and get told I look pretty yeah sounds like a good life you'll notice that I'm not putting myself in frame with Robert because he makes me look small yeah it's just the lighting the camera a camera I mean I'm actually about the same size ISM can deadlift about the same amount as him so it's it's no big deal today Robert and Nick are gonna help me do a little testing so you may remember I tested this shield not this exact one but this model this is from hardcore defense this is their alpha shield this is a pistol rated shield Nick can you demonstrate that is a shield for someone to like make entry into a room and it blocks against pistol threats they came out with this one which is their Bravo shield and so this one can stop rifle threats it can stop AR 15 rounds ak-47 rounds and it can stop 308 this one is just a solid metal plate this one you can see it has two layers there the front is actually a thin titanium layer the back is a steel layer and they did that to get it a little extra strong without being so thick and bulky thick and bulky so if you're a top ten world Strongest Man it doesn't block a lot of your body this on a normal-sized man there's a block most of your body these bolts too you can hit these bolts they're all armored as well so it should be a pretty stout shield I've never shot one but we're going to today and we have several cool guns to try the first gun that we are going to shoot at our Bravo shield is from cm mg it is called the Banshee and it is a tiny little air 15 it actually is a pistol this is a an arm brace so it's classified as a pistol and this gun is chambered in 5-7 5.7 by 28 and it takes the mags out of the FN five-seven I got a really fun Easter true story though man this is hard for centuries all your stories are true this one's in the book though and one of my friends he's a sniper and he got shot with the five-seven and totally really yeah in his foot totally made fun of them about it because they're like you know it heard it over the comms like this is 5 7 wait who shot him with a 5 7 your fighting people have five sevens dude in our in Afghanistan one of this we were fighting the Chechen sniper they had a K is out there they're popping out of the ground like surrounded in this ambush and over the columns you hear I'm not gonna say his name but uh starts with the W and he was hit with the five-seven in his foot and I did staff duty or CQ with them we got back to the states and so the beauty of this round is it's a tiny little bullet but it doesn't kick hardly at all and it goes super fast super flat shooting it's a pistol or submachine gun caliber and it's going super fast so maybe it'll have a chance getting through that but it's a small round this thing's rifle rated so I doubt it the Banshee 5.7 by 28 Nick's gonna fire a few practice shots what are you gonna shoot at first I'm gonna shoot two and Lieutenant Dan where he's not protected okay and then I'll put two and the nipples plate I have not cited this good in so good luck on hitting nipples but I just put aside on there today you're pretty good yeah I can wing it we're good yeah did you see the spark sort of hit I am impressed with your nipple placement pretty good not even a dent so this is the titanium front they're just scratch the paint the next gun I have is purely a pistol round but it's in a very long barrel so it's gonna get more speed it's not gonna go through but maybe it'll dent it I was more excited to get this gun that I've been in a while this gun is just different it's way different than anything I have ever had before you like you like tommy guns okay it is but it's ten times better than what you think okay ten times better than a tommy gun okay all right just hear what Robert says about it Nick's not looking right now all right check it out Nick it's a gold like this one 45 ACP out of a rifle version of a tommy gun Robert get him I got one more thing I also have the drum mag in gold as well so we have a stick mag and a drum mag in this all gold tommy gun you know what who was it al capone uh-huh who used to be so good with the Tommy gun you could write his initials out with it or something like that really yeah I was thinking you two guys and me should start a little mafia Club you know we'll just start running the streets with this thing this is an auto ordinance corporation Thompson semi-automatic carbine in gold [Laughter] you got try this you got every single one and make it look good too just so clean too man normally in demolition ranch video we just shoot like one of each caliber we kind of got carried away with the gold tommy gun so we shot him a bunch they did nothing though we kind of knew that a 45 ACP wasn't gonna do anything but I thought maybe those big heavy rounds out of a long barrel would dent it but nothing nothing at all but now we can go ahead and step it up to a real rifle caliber ak-47 7 62 by 39 safeties on this is a you know this is pretty standard around a pretty standard rifle and we'll see this this is a this is a good test for this body armor over here we good we're good go smart everyone as I protect your own right nut boom it made it through our first plate but stop it the second so some of those did not all of them so some of them punch through our titanium plate very interesting but we got some little dents but nothing making it through okay you're still safe for now Lieutenant Dan next up is an air 15 chambered in 5.56 standard 16 inch sized barrel here going at our threat now we did see that we have weakened that plate a little bit that shield so there's a chance you could get through we'll find out same thing so they knock through the first layer but no not as much as 762 so that titanium layer is just basically working to break that apart so it breaks those incoming bullets apart so when they hit here they're not solid they're in a bunch of pieces and they don't really do any damage that backplate pretty cool so obviously if we sunk another bullet in the exact same spot it would start to weaken but I mean yeah what are the odds of that if you're getting hit by that many bullets you probably need to go to a different place wait the most powerful rounds that we've shot so far those are head pretty hard that's a 308 that looks like we hit one right on the same spot is another one looks like it survived no holes through nowhere a third one hit huh yeah that one hit that's right so that was the winner one hit earlier then we hit another one right there okay nothing has made it through yet up to 308 you have to step it up now to something this thing does not say it's rated for I brought a 338 Lapua Magnum which is a sniper caliber so let Nick shoot that one you may notice that I I switched shirts and that's because I want to talk about how awesome these shirts are in the back it's a play on the Second doesn't all be that's the Christensen all carbon-fibre gibberish ooh 338 overseas not overseas on like any targets moving targets in practice by shot 11.1 for miles mm 22 yards really yeah that's the furthest shot I happens with the 338 we're good yeah we're good gonna be loud yeah I bet he's dead whoo I'm not Bob we take that I apologize I'm gonna go a little bit higher how is that while you're standing perfect it's not bad yeah no joke bro I'm not even kidding I think I could probably pull off a thousand-yard shot standing Danny within three shots really maybe 800 800 yards I think I could get yeah I'd like to see that maybe we should make a video of Nick Irving shooting 800 yards standing I'd like to see it I'll get lunker's in for that one yep he's dead there and he's dead they're two holes straight through him yeah oh look there's a piece of metal stuck in him right there that's actually or maybe it's a piece of plate I don't know that thing's hot neat fun but yeah well I mean it didn't go through him so flash money he's always cool yeah he's definitely flexing Lieutenant Dan is always flexing just like OB over here 3:38 went straight through that thing like child's play so I have a feeling we know what's gonna happen with the Barrett shooting the 50 BMG 50 BMG out of the Barrett Robert Oberst let er rip buddy I've never seen anyone make this gun look so small it looks like he's shooting an ar-15 right now you got it oh my gosh do you think he made it look oh oh actually look at the backside the backside is even more impressive here hold that I'm gonna cut it off look at that hole yeah Lieutenant Dan ouch well that other piece of metal came out once the 50 pass through room cleared it up thank you for your service today Lieutenant Dan so the shield no good against 50 Cal or 338 it's amazing how much bigger that 50 Cal hole is than the 338 Stu definitely definitely doesn't work in sews but it does where against all the ones that says it work against very
