buy at costco in the new year 2022 edition we do these videos every year and i love to do it because costco is like my second home i love it there so let's go inside and show you what to buy at costco member you have access to some of the best quality heart healthiest oils in the business for amazing prices and don't even waste your time just come straight here because i've talked about it before this kirkland brand 100 italian extra virgin olive oil jug here that's two liters for 14.99 is an amazing deal but it's real it's legit extra virgin olive oil and you might be thinking what are you talking about all extra virgin olive oil is oil no i did an expose about a year ago 85 of the extra virgin olive oils on the market including avocado oil too are fake they don't qualify to be real uh extra virgin olive oil it reminds me of the seinfeld with elaine fake big bank they don't qualify to be real extra virgin olive oil they're cut they're cut with oils like canola oil peanut oil soybean oil and they're made with ranciv ranted olives this has been independently lab tested including by uc davis to be pure real that way you can cook with it you can finish with it you can drizzle with it but more importantly this is about half price of most grocery stores such a heart healthy polyphenol rich oil that's real another seinfeld reference it's real and it's spectacular so this is the oil i cook with at home i don't cook with regular olive oil like this because it's just a little too processed to take it from extra virgin to that i cook with extra virgin because it is cold pressed this is what you want ah you this wasn't going to be in the video because this is brand new costco has their own organic coconut water that's minimally processed and here's what's so funny and why i love the flaccid community i was just doing some stories in the oil aisle and a fan dm me and said hey check out what i just found and they sent me a picture of that the coconut water so i moseyed on over here and sure enough they have this this is so exciting and brand new for 2022. six 14 ounce big bottles for 11.99 compare that to like harmless harvest coconut water it's probably 30 to 40 percent cheaper my friends if you drink coconut water this is the kind you want it's the one where you can't really see it but it's pink in there that means that it's not pasteurized with heat it's pasteurized freddy mercury style what do i mean under pressure it's high pressure pasteurized and it's the thai coconut oh i can meet the parents jack cocktail jack talk thai very good it's sweet naturally keep in mind one bottle does have 26 grams of natural sugar but a lot of times people will buy cruddy electrolyte drops to get electrolytes when they're schnitzing and stuff like that and by the way hopefully for summer i'll have some flavor city electrolytes that are super high quality but if you want a natural source hello a la gavina look at this potassium boom calcium boom all of that's included naturally in coconut water and this is the minimally processed ones where if you get the ones that are on the store shelf those are pasteurized with heat and you kill the living nutrients this still has them alive it's alive and the price oh my gosh i know it's winter right now but it's summer in florida i want to get somewhere by you for that price for coconut water could be the most exciting thing high five for 2022. this is quite possibly one of the best things to happen to costco mid last year siete tortillas came to town 20 tortillas for 11.89 which is basically half price of almost any grocery store and i know excitement is on the regular these are paleo grain free almond flour tortillas they have other flavors too but this is my favorite the ingredients are about as good as they get almond flour tapioca flour apple cider vinegar come on no filler all thriller they're not low carb but they're paleo grain free such a great deal you guys see me on stories all the time if you don't follow me on the flame city instagram stories we do recipes and what i'm making for the family almost every day follow me over there makes amaze i mean turkey wrapped with the organic turkey from the deli section but i'm telling you at that price i'm so happy to see that here because at most stores it's a dollar tortilla these are fantastic so a lot of people will just come to costco and get the kerrygold butter because they're so used to it but at some point last year in 2021 kirkland came out with their own version of kerrygold but in my opinion it's better it's this it's new zealand grass-fed butter that's 95 fed that's interesting because kerrygold says that they're 80 percent grass-fed now why not do better this is 95 percent grass-fed butter and i know in new zealand um they've banned gmo so the 5 supplemental feed of grain is non-gmo i'd rather have something that's a little more grass-fed because when you have grass-fed butter compared to regular butter this is organic but the cows still eat grain when you eat grain it's not good in terms of the omega-3 the omega-6 ratio grains are a little inflammatory it's still good oil at least our good butter and at least it's non-gmo but grass-fed is the way to go 95 is about as good as they get more importantly the kerrygold is about six dollars a pound hello this is five dollars a pound it's a dollar cheaper per pound for superior butter i mean listen nothing wrong with either one of these that was on sale a while back for uh thanksgiving but this is where it's at when you have your choice get the kirkland one from new zealand that's righteous this is one of the few keto granolas on the market that's bobby approved and the fact that they have it here at costco for 22 ounces for 12.79 is crazy all you have to do is scan the barcode with the bobby approved app it'll pop up as bobby approved why because most all keto granolas will have cruddy oil or natural flavors these have neither the only fat they use is butter i don't think the butter is non-gmo but i'm going to give it a pass because this is such a next level keto diabetic friendly granola they use erythritol and monk fruit there's no natural flavors here look at the macros how do we get net carbs 11 total minus the fiber is seven minus the sugar alcohol three three net carbs for keto paleo granola oh hello gmo free also another win for milo schlecken seinfeld this is such a great deal i love that once again whenever you're in doubt break out the bobby approved app scan any barcode at any grocery store in canada or the usa it tells you if it's bobby approved or not the app is free just go to the apple app store the google play store people are loving it we have going on 225 000 downloads so thank you for that um this though is keto but it's not bobby approved this is relatively new keto cereal here sure it's a great price and oh i guess it's going to be discontinued but i don't love that they're using sunflower oil i could give them a pass for natural flavors because it's a keto diabetic friendly cereal which is almost unheard of but to add highly processed highly inflammatory sunflower oil that also has a free radicals that destroy the cells in your body like all processed oils no to that yes to that and yes to that price a lot of people ask me what kind of plant-based milks are bobby approved here at costco and this would probably be your best choice although it's not something i would drink it's the unflavored almond milk because it has no natural flavors or sugar but see how it's almonds but these ingredients here sunflower lecithin locus bean gum gel and gum three emulsifiers or gums in a row that's why i don't drink most almond milks or any kind of oat milk on the market because they're all emulsifiers gums and oil fun fact about almond milk a one ounce cup of most almond milks has six to eight almonds that's it the rest is water gums oils and emulsifiers grass-fed burger patties and the grass-fed wagyu burger patties are the best deal ever and i'm very upset right now that it's not on my costco this turkey deli meat is a staple in my fridge at home why well number one it's organic which is really important for stuff like turkey ham chicken beef if it's not organic that means that she can have a gmo feed this is a non-gmo feed the ingredients are about as legit as they get there's no added sugar there's no maltodextrin cruddy ingredients more importantly i don't think people realize how good of a price this is for 8 30 a pound most organic turkeys at the grocery store are 16 a pound specifically applegate organic turkey i know that because i used to buy it before they had it here to be half price for best in class turkey meat is amazing i love making my turkey sandwiches out of this and then i'll show you the bun that i put it on which is around the corner which is an amazing find i just wish costco would start carrying organic ham desi loves ham but they don't have it here so i have to pay 16 a pound at the grocery store for the applegate organics but that's one thing that can come here this year they do organic turkey please costco get organic no added sugar ham i'd be a happy camper and right here i told you i put my turkey on a good bun this is one of my favorite things and the fact that i have at a costco is like whipped cream on top outer aisle cauliflower sandwich thins these are keto diabetic friendly buns they're little thin buns but the ingredients are fantastic cauliflower based uh it's got the eggs in there parmesan cheese is the only cheese they put in there and then there's a little bit of nutritional yeast to reinforce that uh that kind of nutty flavor parmesan cheese is a no lactose cheese remember age cheeses like parmesan and cheddar have the lactose eaten by the bacteria during the aging process so people who are lactose intolerant like me can eat aged cheeses this is such a great two net carb thin i take this with those macros and i put it on my turkey i slather on some avocado avocado oil mayonnaise from costco and then i have the pickles over there and as a side i have the avocado mashnots i still don't buy avocados because they're all watery and stringy because of how they're freezing them for covid that lunch is keto it's paleo it's best in class and it's pretty much exclusively from gaza on the wall of prepared foods right here are two or three things that are amazing almost every costco either has teton waters ranch a hundred percent grass-fed polish sausage where does it say grass-fed right there hundred percent grass-fed beef polar sausage or kielbasa brand smoked beef sausage both are made with 100 grass-finished grass-fed beef which is unheard of for sausage if you're kosher or halal this is going to be the one for you because it's wrapped in a beef casing this one is wrapped in a pork casing just things you learn making videos and reading the comments about people what they say but look at the ingredients both have next level ingredients no added sugar in this one a touch like less than a gram in that one i'm okay with that keto paleo more importantly seven dollars a pound for grass-fed sausage 9.49 a pound for this one oh i didn't know there was a big difference like that i would just go for this one then because ingredient wise it's basically the same these are phenomenal and one other thing if your costco has it is this it's so funny because when i moved to florida a year ago they didn't have the organic version of this and now they have it and it's just my luck that now they have it and they put the discontinued star on there remember star means it's going to be discontinued this is one of the best pre-made burgers on the market it's a chicken burger all the ingredients are organic so organic non-gmo chicken organic kale is amazing because kale's on the dirty dozen organic non-gmo cheese extra virgin olive oil a touch of cane sugar i could live with one gram per patty this tastes so good sometimes i'll heat this up put it on those cauliflower thins for like a quick easy burger for lunch fee nominal hopefully they keep it around because this is great those sausages are great fantastic finds here in the prepared food section if you're looking for the healthiest dessert in the frozen section here by far it's these keto pint bars and now it's these organic valley fudge bars these are relatively new and to be honest i was blown away when i saw them so organic fudge bars is actually huge because the milk is non-gmo more importantly look at the sugar in here i could live with eight grams per bar oh my god it's freezing eight grams per bar for a dessert i mean this is pretty darn good this is actually bobby approved very important if we start getting excessive sugar like in that it would never be bobby approved plus that's a gmo ice cream they're made with milk and cream but if you're keto diabetic friendly these have been around for a while and these are still bobby approved even though the cream and the milk are not non non-gmo so they are gmo there's no added sugar there's no cruddy oils yes it has natural flavor but most ice creams do i'm trying to find you the best option here and this is way better than ones that have tons of sugar and whatnot this is a great this is a great keto diabetic friendly treat and if you're not diabetic or keto this is probably your best option because it's even cleaner and it's organic and non-gmo i wish somebody in the keto space would make organic keto ice cream because all of them are non-organic or made from gmo milk and that kind of bothers me and i have to close the door because it's freezing i don't know what happened i've been in florida a year now and i'm super sensitive to the cold i come to the grocery store now i have to bring my sweater because i'm freezing maybe i'm getting uh a little uh sensitive now that i'm in warm weather i'm turning into a florida grandpa i'm even been eating uh cottage cheese lately if you see me scooping my cottage cheese into the middle of a cantaloupe somebody please give me a smack or something these are still here and it's one of the better keto and diabetic friendly chocolate chip cookies on the market and the price is like 40 cheaper than amazon it's 13 for 12 ounces so a dollar an ounce for keto chocolate chip cookies i love these i think they taste like chips ahoy and the ingredients are about as good as you can get for keto diabetic chocolate chip cookies because they don't use any cruddy oil they use coconut oil here a little bit of butter it does have natural flavors but i'm okay with that in this case because the alternative would be a cookie made of cane sugar and wheat and gluten and carbs and probably vegetable oil when there's no other alternative i'm okay with the natural flavors because i'd rather you have something that doesn't have added sugar than a ton of added sugar so it's not ideal but it's still allowed and there's collagen in here it tastes great the ingredients are fantastic and that price is good if you're keto diabetic or just want a no added sugar low glycemic cookie this is what you want and then if you want chips i've been begging costco to get an olive oil fried chick chip or an avocado oil fried chip and they won't do it the closest they have is this this is probably the better for you choice at costco these are plantain chips and they're fried in coconut oil and they're seasoned with best-in-class unrefined pink salt it's a monster bag for eight dollars that's probably half price of most grocery stores this is great but i really am looking for a potato chip that's not fried in cruddy oil i know sam's has it but they don't have it here everyone is fried in canola sunflower safflower maybe soybean oil which is why if you buy a chip here this is just your best choice once again they have the tortillas now but siete chips have been here for a while these are the grain free paleo tortilla chips and yeah it's more expensive than your traditional chip but any grocery store it's a dollar an ounce so it's 50 off and they cook them in avocado oil but what i really like is if costco please come out with a potato chip fried in avocado oil because i'm not going to tell you never to eat something i'm looking for the better alternative and a potato chip fried and avocado oil is readily available we just need it in the warehouse because that would be next level for 2022. i kind of freaked out a few months ago when the chosen foods avocado oil mayonnaise had a star for being discontinued well it turns out i got rid of the smaller container and brought in the big bowl or the 32 ounce container which makes me very happy because we actually go through a ton of mayonnaise at home for 30 cents an ounce for best in class avocado oil mayonnaise that is half the price of any grocery store and because they're using the chosen foods avocado oil from mexico it's real high quality avocado oil mayonnaise this is one of the better for you swaps when you're using avocado oil mayonnaise first of all most mayonnaise is made with soybean oil or canola oil which is highly processed and refined but these are best in class ingredients here because if you compare it to your tradition your traditional ones here like hellmann's per se bring out the hellmann's bring out the best not too sure about that because the first ingredient is gmo highly processed soybean oil the complete opposite of avocado oil soybean oil is so processed and refined that it's incredibly inflammatory and we americans and everyone eat a very inflammatory diet anyway and that can lead to not only heart disease but also high cholesterol that's what inflammatory foods do but it also is loaded with free radicals processed oils have a ton of free radicals what do they do free radicals destroy the cells in your body causing a lot of issues but that's just the beginning of it it also has sugar see calcium disodium edta that's a nasty preservative that covers up rancid smells and there's natural flavors so yes it's 12 cents an ounce okay and the best in class avocado oil mayonnaise is 30 cents an ounce but if you don't mind spending the money this is so much better for you so much higher quality and i always have it in my pantry all right flavor city family that is it from my happy place costco for the top 10 or so things to buy at costco in 2022 and you never know when new things are gonna pop up case in point that
