I wasted my discipline points so you don't have to today I will be ranking every Warrior skill in Dragon's Dogma 2 based on my own personal experience each skill has an upgraded version of itself and I will not be differentiating between the two rather just referring to the upgraded versions you should always get all of the core skills and so those will not be ranked along with the augments which will be in their own video where I will rank all augments across all vocations if you want further explanation of the warrior augments I have a warrior build video that I will link Down Below in the description as usual the video is timestamped for your convenience so if there's a specific skill you're curious about you can just skip to it make sure to like And subscribe if you enjoy the video and so as to not miss out on any good stuff in the future welcome to purge evil thank you for stopping by let's get into it all right we're just going to hop straight into it the first skill on the list is rending and raising sweep a classic attack that sees you spin and swing your blade charging spins you twice and the upgraded version deals more damage raising sweep is your quintessential cleave and the best ability the warrior has for clearing groups of enemies quickly not only is it good against groups and normal enemies it also does surprisingly decent damage to large enemies and is super useful in staggering them and causing them to fall due to its short time to fully charge this is one of my go-to skills and one of my allaround favorites even though it's the first skill we get it's extremely effective out in the field and is worth taking more so than some of the later skills raising sweep easily lands itself in the S tier you can never go wrong having this equipped Plus what's not to love about just swinging a giant sword in circles next up we have Skyward and heavenward Sunder definitely one of my favorites this scale swings your sword upward and when charged causes you to launch into the air as well upgrading it causes it to Simply do more damage quick note about the Sunder is that this skill can reach harpies and enemies in the air sometimes even without charging which is definitely something to keep in mind when making your skill selection not only that it can easily hit enemies that fall to the ground rather than using the prolonged heavy attack this is easily one of the best skills in the game not only just for damage but for it ability to stagger as well countless times have I Unleashed a heavenward Sunder on a cyclops staggering it back where I can then use a raising sweep to chop its legs and topple it being another skill you can get it level one and the fact that it's effective against practically every enemy in the game heavenward Sunder easily lands in the S tier taking the number one spot in the tier list moving on we have Bellow and Roar this is essentially your taunt that aggr enemies to you instead of your pawns and upgrading basically just lets you extend the duration of calling your enemies now I'm just going to say it this is useless at least in my experience someone's probably going to get mad about that but I'm just going to tell it how it is there was a long period of time where I had this equipped but literally never used it not even once I eventually had to go out of my way to really even try to play test it but the point is that it's just a completely unnecessary skill especially with the augment in rings that give you more aggro I suppose it could be good for backup if your pawns are getting attack consistently enough for it to be a problem but honestly I just don't see that really ever being the case not much else to say about this one it might look cool but Roar is useless D tier next we have Goring and ravening lunge which sees you sprinting forward with your sword extended in front of you ready to impale the first enemy you come in contact ATT with you can alter the direction of your charge and the blade will also deal damage to other enemies even if you already have one skewer upgrading it causes it to use less stamina and if you happen to miss an enemy you can cancel the animation at any time with your sheath button or when you have an enemy impaled you can press the button you assign the skill to to end the lunge also impaling enemies and running them into walls will deal more damage this is the ultimate single target attack at least in my opinion and easily one of the most fun skills to use being that as a warrior you almost move in slow motion at times compared to everything going on around you having an attack that just sends you sprinting through enemies and impaling one is a welcome addition to any Arsenal and can also be used to reposition yourself if anything while lunging you can turn at a decent enough rate to be able to catch some enemies who may just be out of your path or even turn into a wall which further adds to the mobility of the skill it's also incredibly effective for singling out a Target as you can just carry them completely away from everybody else the biggest con is that it's basically useless against large enemies at least in terms of dealing damage though you could argue being able to Sprint around and knock out some ads during those fights is definitely still worth it being a single target attack it's also not good at dealing with groups which is a focus of the warrior vocation and so with all of that in mind I would absolutely love to put this in s tier but ravening lunge will have to land respectfully in the a tier here we have ladder and catapult launch which allow you to launch a pawn up at a large enemy or even perhaps a chest you can't reach catapult launch isn't really worth using in my opinion sometimes it can take too much time for your Pawn to actually make it to you and then you have a problem of aiming or at least I do it's quite easy to miss [Music] to jump height upgrading it causes it to do more damage and guys I swear I really really wanted to like this one the animation is cool it's badass but it's just not worth it it might look cool but it's a bit slow it's also quite situational and that you can only target a single enemy with it and trying to use it on large enemies is just not worth it when we have the base heavy attack realistically it's not even worth using on smaller enemies as opposed to our other options even if they're staggered or lying on the ground my honest opinion is you're far better off using the skill slot for something else and not even wasting the discipline points on upgrading it this is the saddest excuse for a skill no one can change my mind on this one it does look really cool though and it is a fun follow-up attack but ultimately serging and deluvian strike land in the D tier revivify and inspir is basically a quick Curative for several de Buffs the upgrade just uses less stamina and honestly you're probably never really going to need to run this especially if you have a mage in the party I'm not even going to bother showing this in combat cuz it's just a cure it does have its uses and it's not a bad skill At All by any means it's just not going to be necessary for most players there are some fights in the game where you could argue that this is useful but even then I think having a Mage and just some curatives in your backpack will cover you 9.9 nine times out of 10 not much else to say this could be an A or S tier skill depending on your play style and if you're doing a challenge type run or something but realistically it's not necessary and so in spirit lands in the B tier moving on we have Savage and indomitable lash essentially just a heavier heavy attack that can be charged for some pretty big damage and upgraded for even more damage satisfying to use as with most skills dropping a giant slab of iron onto your enemies it can hit multiple targets it can stagger large enemies into having spaghetti legs it's pretty good overall though it isn't truly the best option as it can be argued that it's better to Simply use your heavy attack on down in small foes or just use a more versatile skill in general with that being said it's a solid option but it does get out classed by the other skills and so indomitable lash lands in the B tier no and Mountain breaker definitely one of the skills of all time this is a Thrust attack that aims upwards and Deals significant health and Poise damage and even more when upgraded it is highly likely to stagger large enemies and can even knock enemies unconscious this is also another skill that is able to reach haries and Griffins so definitely make sure to take note of that won't be using it much against normal enemies like goblins and it's for sure not effective against groups but for the amount of pain it inflicts on large enemies I do believe it's still worth it to slot A lot of the time especially early on this is going to be your go-to move for fighting Cyclops trolls and the like most likely combining this with the heavenward Sunder to topple those enemies and just subsequently annihilate them not to mention it's super quick to fully charge and can be thrown out at almost a moment's notice this one may suffer the most from my own bias Mountain breaker lands in the S tier title Fury and wrath this is the Warriors parry and Counterattack it can also function as a simple guard if you're not worried about timing for a counter upgrading extends the window for which you can land a successful Counterattack as usual with Warrior skills and with paries in general extremely satisfying to use does huge damage feels super badass and you're going to miss it when you inevitably unequip it because it's simply not worth using for the majority of the game this is a defensive skill which is the opposite of what you should focus on as a warrior it's nice to be able to throw it out in the middle of a hectic fight like a badass but in truth you would more than likely be better off just attacking or using the barge not to mention with a core skill we can already Parry large enemies with a Charged attack of which this skill to my knowledge cannot do if I'm wrong about that let me know down in the comments but it wouldn't change my ranking regardless title wrath is fun but you're better off slotting something else if you're preparing for some real Combat I hate to do this I really do but title Fury and wrath unfortunately have to land in the C tier second to last of the skills and the final skill you unlock from leveling here we have Gail and Windstorm slash this is is essentially a skill version of your standard attack that uses the momentum of your blade to deal more damage and timing your follow-up attacks correctly will cause you to swing faster each time upgrading further increases the speed you swing your Blade with follow-up attacks it does way more damage than standard attacks so it can be worth it to just outright replace those with this skill but not really easy to use it already has a quick animation that gets even quicker which makes it super good against normal enemies in groups who tend to just kind of walk or jump into your swings you can easily rotate for your next swing if enemies are highly mobile and this is another skill that can hit harpies out of the air it feels super good and it's just an allaround satisfying skill to use like most but it can be argued that the standard attack is good enough to not warrant using a skill slot for Windstorm second con is that groups of goblins or Wolves can easily interrupt your animation whereas with charged attacks it's much harder for enemies to stagger you another con is that it's not the best option against large enemies with all of that being said I really want to put this one in the a tier because of how fun it is but I really do feel like the standard attack more often than not gets the job done so I'm going to have to drop this one to B tier and for the final skill of the warrior vocation we have the ultimate skill SK Arc of might this one sees you charge an attack for an extended period of time before unleashing a devastating attack and consuming all of your stamina it does take quite some time to charge up but it is definitely worth it as it can easily stagger huge enemies especially with the knockdown augment in ring though it does take a while to charge in my opinion it's right on that fine line of not taking too long but not being too fast I wouldn't recommend against normal enemies for obvious reasons and so you're really going to only want to slot this if you expect to fight a tough enemy or if you just want to be safe having a mage in your party and or some curatives can easily pick you back up from the loss of stamina so it's really not too much of a hindrance if not anything else it's definitely worth using for style points as you're always going to see and feel the enemy react this skill has one use and one use only Big T tough enemies and it does that job quite well at least in my own experience I know there are some people out there who have had a different experience and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts in the comments with that being said the Ultimate Warrior skill Arc of Might ultimately lands in the a tier while not useful against anything but those big enemies it can definitely sit those enemies on their asses and just for fun we're going to throw the base attacks in the ever elusive Super S tier as they truly are the attacks of all time the standard attack is arguably better to use in more situations than any of the skills and the heavy attack does a disgusting job of finishing enemies or just obliterating them when they're on the ground it really is worth using just these two attacks over most of the skills most of the time and that easily lands them both in the super tier put the barge in there too because it's absolutely perfect and if you haven't gotten used to using it I highly recommend it I do have my warrior build Linked In the description and pinned comment just a reminder if that's something you're looking for make sure to like And subscribe if you enjoyed the video and be on the lookout for any future content hit the Bell even if you're feeling froggy but alas that is all I have for this one thank you for stopping by and until next time Purge evil in my i't put it on yet in my I ain't put it on yet ground in my palm but I ain't put it on yet ground in my palm but I ain't put it on yet
