all right so if i cleared this table plus took my stack what are you thinking thrifting ain't easy i'm feeling creepy comp and diapers on my ebay app all right so i just saw a yard sale sign that said uh thousands of cassettes and vhs for 25 cents a piece i like those odds so definitely gonna go check that out real quick how's it going good how are you good thanks oh lord got a bunch of them yeah definitely cassettes yeah a lot of them are in these you can look uh or through you know how old these suckers are come here i'll show you how many people have yeah let me grab the kid movies i'll be right back we had to move a lot of this out here recently because all these are cassettes oh wow oh there's a ton of rock and roll cool and we've got can we grab a couple of these sure and believe it or not we don't have a vco right now oh really but there's probably one of every bit of 5 000. geez oh my goodness awesome yeah i'll definitely probably buy a big chunk of them from you these are see i've got a mark these are applaud ones okay they've uh we've been through all of them we marked the once there's hardly any of those at all these are all good it says on okay just let me start looking through them yeah go for it okay again cool boxes i mean you left it oh yeah that's fine got a picture down here [Applause] all right i got stupid on how to open this now those are all uh oh kids there's any kids memories cool cool we need like another boxer well tell you what um yeah they're all empty when you say rock and roll mm-hmm well that goes back forever but oh i'll be right back here i'm sorry if you don't smoke oh no no no you're fine um i'll grab the cashette out of the house okay awesome in our extra room yeah man we had to bring furniture in so i started moving boxes out here wow all right let me look at these first because there's a lot of this stuff and pretty much aren't even a scratch those are the ones we had closest um like i said out of five we did have a tablet that had them all listed in alphabetical order at least five grand we got rid of a couple of boxes oh wow but yeah five thousand movies um they just get better and better i don't know if you're into it poor is mostly what i look at yeah or mm-hmm you just brought a uh like like slasher sure yeah exactly and horror movies that we had separated quite a few in here it looks like some of them there's there's a few in here that are brand new i don't know which ones are still in the package it's kind of hard we got so many boxes pulling in there it's kind of hard to put them all out yeah i understand that actions oh you're fine oh yep now if you want rock and roll here you go all right there okay cool i'll start there in a second oh like i said we got the whole back [Laughter] literally we at one point we had 6 000 vhs wow i mean actually i don't know if he told you or not but this was basically uh what was left of his mom oh really quite the collection there's over a thousand cassette tapes geez we have uh 1500 uh cd cd music oh forgot no you got rid of the logos um no what other movies are you interested in because i've got horror movies in the house too um horror is is basically what i look for as far as vhs goes well i mean i hate to dawg kill me i got a stack here i mean okay all right you know what uh nightmare on elm street yes i've got the set of nightmares okay yeah that's awesome [Music] i right i got a stack of those there yeah that's definitely good stuff those uh [Applause] okay yeah there's good ones everywhere uh jovi van halen okay i also have joyride predator and here's some right behind you okay pretty much that whole drawer is good to go oh sweet yes yes ma'am now that this with the set they are not going to be 25 cents a piece okay what are you thinking on that uh shoot me a price um let me see we got over here okay that's how we've been trying to go through this stuff yeah because i mean you're not gonna find that friday yeah right thirteenth is my brain nightmare on number two yeah do you have any interest in just selling all these cassettes plus my stack here yes okay yeah uh oh lord hi he's a little more in here yeah either okay hello i'm sorry i'm not sure about those i'm trying to separate oh my lord okay now there is a mixture in here of course you know yeah good old oldies elvis presley things like that sure yeah yeah she collected everything from the others yeah we even have christmas uh cassettes as well you know with that kenny rogers right dolly this that's because they're smaller they're easier to store them yes yeah so i'm a little choosier on movies but as far as cassettes go well i can i can't really blame you on the movies anything say you take the bulk of them anything just happened wouldn't work okay i mean you know you buy something like this and you expect not everything anyway i will say this when she wrote um good on the boxes we know they were good this one they should be good yeah 90 of them i know for sure oh yeah we kept them put up good grief all right so if i cleared this table plus took my stack what are you thinking whoa yeah oh x minus the a yeah yeah um this one you're interested in this too yeah yep everything on this table well you know what uh here i'll tell you what like i might be able to take a guess he says i bet you he's got at least 500 cassette tapes if not more give or take i think this is all of them isn't it yeah and separated yeah pretty much um except for the ones that are in the house that we're keeping uh okay you said this deck right here yeah just the ones pulled to the side here okay oh you got a lot of good one there what do you think i don't wanna shoot too long i wanna shoot too high um okay i'm gonna shoot for a high price and tell me what you think if that won't work with it sure 200 200. i was i i was closer to 100 like what about 150 hey perfect good okay yeah easy enough yeah um and like like we said i mean if some don't work or whatever if you even want more or whatever we're going to give you a better deal at the same time i'm going to even like say the movies which i'm sure they all will you can bring one back also um i think it might be a blank crap really oh never mind i don't think you know what you can take people if you want the cases if these are in you can just take them in the cage okay that's fine sure because we don't have we're not going to have these oh wait wait hang on yeah there's some groups now i forgot about i'm i was born in 61. and this one here i forgot about it oh really yeah that's uh i'm from the 70s a good old 70s music yeah 60s 70s was i think the best rock and roll years really cool stuff in there but it's a little worse on the morning well that's up to him yeah i mean i can dispose of it later okay let's use this box for the vhs that's cool i appreciate you working with me one guy decided he's working great supposedly yes i like those uh people that say oh you can do this and then i don't have any cash um oh that would help you one you don't have enough change do you have any change just a ten or two fives oh crap no if not don't worry about it we're good yeah okay i appreciate it very bad it's fair that way we can get our everything in that corner bottom box well not the cooler oh wow all these boxes yeah all those are movies they're all movies all right let me get all this organized and i'll probably get a hold of you guys [Laughter] got a few days work here yes you do thank you so much thank you i appreciate you guys there you go all right guys we are back from that yard sale that was definitely a case of right place right time uh i'm really excited about this haul that was a tremendous deal i really enjoy selling cassette tapes especially good ones and we got a lot of good ones real quick let's just try to try to go through some of the stuff we got i think i ended up spending 160 for everything we came down to 150 but i didn't have change and it was fine honestly i think with the vhs we'll probably get close to our money back if not more got quite a few of these friday the 13th vhs's there's part seven part eight part three the final chapter most of the time friday the 13th vhs's can sell for between like 20 and 30 bucks a piece so these definitely won't be lotted up and these are all in pretty good shape too if i do say so myself and then that one has the blue paramount emblem on it and then we have the nightmare on elm street box set which should do really well on its own and then there's just lots of stuff for a a lot too it's stacked up pretty deep in there and then we have a lot more over here uh murders in the room or the terror the howling psycho and we build match 92 candy man the omen just a bunch of really good stuff that'll load up nicely so i honestly think that we'll get most of the 160 back just just with this so that's pretty cool and then we have all the cassettes which is what i'm most excited about i apologize if it's windy but these are all the cassettes i got them home and got them all kind of separated by what i think is good and by what i think is just kind of okay or whatever and this is basically the stuff that i think is gold right here like the classic rock the hip hop just just really solid stuff total cassettes there ended up being close to 900 like 850 to 900 and the stuff that i think is good there ended up being around 450 so you can kind of do the math at 25 cents a piece this is the stuff i definitely would have bought but i saved myself the time of having to dig through everything right there and when it comes down to it time is money so so that worked out okay but honestly 160 was a killer deal inside here it's just full of stuff like metallica and anthrax and mega death and def leppard ac dc jethro tall foo fighters duran duran jimi hendrix just like a bunch of the stuff that you'd want to see so there's quite a few that'll sell pretty well on their own like this beastie boys license to ill should do good on its own metallica kill them all possibly the anthrax and mega death there's a foo fighters that should do well on its own there's uh nirvana in here never mind that should do well but when it really comes down to it after i kind of cherry pick the stuff that's that's like 15 bucks or more on on its own i'll probably i'll probably end up doing lots of 50 and this stuff is so good that i'll probably end up charging between 80 and 100 per lot of 50. that's like a buck 50 to 2 bucks a piece when it comes down to it i could do auctions and they might do a lot better but i mean that's kind of gambling i don't mind gambling with my spending but a lot of times i'm more picky about gambling with my selling if that makes sense nine lots of 50 uh we're gonna do pretty well i think these are all like cassette singles and stuff and like there's a little box of uh good stuff that doesn't have jay cards which i'll probably just lot up on their own up here we have all the country i separated out there's like 120 of these stuff like garth brooks and travis tritt and clint black and reba mcintyre and stuff like that so this will probably all be one lot by itself maybe i'll auction that one i don't know down in this box this is just a box full of like elvis and neil diamond there was just quite a bit of that so i gave them their own little box and those will be their own little lots there's some christmas stuff in here really these couple boxes are like three to four hundred things i probably wouldn't have bought things like things i definitely wouldn't have picked but i'm still glad i had them because they'll come in handy for a couple reasons one i can replace cases for the good stuff for like broken cases and stuff i can kind of pad some of the lots maybe you know like maybe do like 45 really good ones and then five of these just okay ones and like sell it as a lot that way kind of maximize the profit and then also there is like some laudable stuff in here like 90s r b like boys to man and whitney houston and mariah carey and stuff like that that that might all make one good lot by itself and then the christmas lot and so i'm definitely glad that that i just went ahead and picked up everything definitely got a better deal that way honestly this stuff it looks like a lot but i shouldn't have too much trouble getting through it all pretty quickly i'm really excited about like all the classic rock and stuff pretty cool all right guys that's all i got for you this time as
