what those are called flashy thing that one's actually correct nailed it this will know however is called a silenced e thing for this scene we just need a small gun can you just use a small gun for you're done you just fold it back up put it in your pocket good to go it does have a storage compartment right there or you can stick more ammo for rounds 22 long-rifle in there one in the tube catch yourself a little v shooter no sights does have a groove that you look down so you basically just line up that groove with whatever you're trying to hit and try to hit him this is like for a very close quarters gun so let's do a little drill let's say I have someone it was attacking me let's see how fast I can shoot them and then reload and shoot again watch out guys that guy looks shady yep he's got a gun and he's coming for let's do this already hit the wrong I hit the wrong button there we go okay that's a neck shot that was honestly pretty good okay so I found that it's kind of hard to get these shells out without the use of a knife probably not great on the knife but it's just brass should be fine okay got the spit shell out now let's put another one in yep he's still coming he's still coming guys we'll go ahead and [ __ ] it again to next shots so what I found this very useful in a self-defense situation is I always for the first shot shoot for the left carotid artery just so they know you mean business but they still have another one in case they decide to back off in the case that they don't you go ahead and shoot their right carotid artery that's just what I do you do whatever you think's right lieutenant dan is wearing what we call plate carrier so in here is a big body armor plate now what you will see on a lot of plate carriers are mag carriers as well so these things are full of ammo normally and they're just extra spare mag see you they're easy to get to they're right there on your chest pulling out putting a rifle and you go now you'll also see police officers carrying pistol mags on their person on their vest sometimes and so what we wanna know is if you got shot in a loaded magazine what would happen there are three theories I would say that I've seen based on comments theory number one it will pass straight through the cartridges and the magazine and then stop on your armor and so they won't really do much theory number two is they actually will add armor and it will help stop bullets so maybe if your police officer not wearing a vest you just have a magazine here it actually might stop a bullet from going through theory three is it will hit these bullets explode them and fire more bullets right on your chest that would not be ideal I want to figure out which of those three scenarios is reality also I just want to point out that he was laying on the ground I think a raccoon pooped on his it's gross I picked him up and I was just like Lieutenant Dan you got a rough night there buddy ar-15 mag glock mag so you can see them both in their name right in there I think we will start with our life card we'll shoot it with a 22 long rifle because that one actually I could see that being totally stopped by hitting a full magazine so I was actually looking for the gun I lost it I was rummaging through my stuff like where did I set this thing and I realized it was in my pocket just launched a five five six out of the top of that mag so it just shot one out so our bullet went right through there did in fact stop bullet hole there nothing came through I think it probably just shot this thing out because of just it moved some ammo and pushed it up I don't think anything exploded because I didn't hear anything I didn't see any smoke I think we should go ahead and move up to a real caliber see if that makes a it all just kind of fell down in there so there's like no tension in there anymore there's just piled up ammo so we didn't actually hit a bullet full on let's try again it's kind of hard to aim with that suppressor on there that's nice excuse we definitely got an explosion there something went off so that bullet ripped straight through the pistol mag and we have dented rounds this here you go man how lucky are we to find that so that is a blown apart shell and a bullet oh here's another here's some more we got some more ammo it kind of Oh multiple blown apart shells that actually is one the bullet hit I bet bullet went through both of those shells ignited them fired some out the top some out the bottom entry hole exit hole I don't you look at those we don't have any real big damage the bullet that's continuing through the mags is gonna pose more of a threat than the exploding bullets on the outside and the reason why is because there's no containment of those the only way that firearms get energy is by being contained all that explosion is contained in the chamber and pushed in a single direction out the barrel to speed up that bullet when they're exploded just in space like this they just don't have near the force well we have it out of the tape there's the entry no exit I went ahead and pulled the shells out so we have a few interesting looking ones they are pretty messed up this one looks like it took the brunt of the bullet but what you'll notice is it didn't light any powder all that gunpowder is unburned that is the 22 bullet right there it was stuck on it like that the bullet from the two-to-three fell out on the ground and I lost it we got some good dents and nothing went off let's see have those five five six rounds and the ar-15 do when hit by seven 62 by thirty-nine we got smoke he is lighting on fire right now well that's something I think I'm just gonna hang back over here wait for the smoke to come to town so what I would guess happen is it busts it open and then some of the powder lit I think that one went straight through the middle well it couldn't be much better than that we got pop we got fire some of you might say Matt it's not safe to approach this right now and I would say to you I have safety glasses on how much more safe do you want me to be he's a little discolored over here oh nice oh man yeah we got some sunburn in here this smells so bad right now so bad yeah that's hot that's we got though so some of them where the bullets went straight through they obviously are burned up and then the ones that were around them sort of got burned up some of them straight-up just popped but what you'll notice is yeah they explode but they explode out the side force is not directed to fire the bullet so when a bullet hits a cartridge on your vest the danger is the initial bullet coming in and hitting you not necessarily the extra cartridges that are on your vest I think that sums that up pretty well that these things when they explode outside of a gun they don't even really go anywhere these were still in the magazine even though they came out of the case so feel free to carry your magazines all over your chest
