okay welcome back I'm Robert breaker and it's been a hard week this week I had a lot going on a lot to do and just been so so busy and been trying to figure out what to preach this week for this Sunday and usually every Sunday Lord gives me something or I have something several weeks in advance and the Lord says no this is it this is is this what I wanted to preach on this week's been a little hard we've got some visitors we've had some things to have to take care of I've had some health problems I fell off a ladder several years ago and I know I didn't break my bones but underneath my knee and both of my legs I did some damage and sometimes when I overdo it well then I have some hurting there and it's hard to stand it's hard to to walk it's hard to do the things I need to do and of course with my training and the gymnasium and everything and kicking and running and well that that sometimes just gets me down for a couple weeks and I have to rest in order to get my strength back and I felt like a giant bruise I would grab the side of the inside of my knee and just push in and it felt like it's just all bruised in there just hurts so bad and it's getting better but I'm praying about this week Lord what do you have me to speak on and usually I go about an hour on every sermon and I just like Lord I I don't know if I can stand up for an hour and so I have this written on my list and this was something I was praying about to talk about this is something that I get a lot of emails about a lot of people asking about so I think I can do this one in less than an hour I'm gonna do my best to keep this short this week and it's not for you it's for me that I want to keep this shorting a lot of people say brother breaker wish you'd preached longer we enjoy you preaching the Word of God but for me not standing up too long and be able to do this and also be able to edit and get this thing posted for this week I'm gonna talk about today the truth about the Sabbath a lot of people asked me brother breaker what's the deal with the Sabbath what is the Sabbath day and why are there people out there that claim to be Christians and yet they make a big stink about the Sabbath and they tell everybody well you have to keep the Sabbath you have to keep the Sabbath why is that well the reasons answer is because they're trying to get back on the old testament law and that's why they do that and that's not right so we're gonna look at that today I'm gonna talk to you about the Sabbath I'm going to show you what the Sabbath is according to the Bible and I'm going to show you why the Sabbath was for a time for a people and how we are now today in a different covenants in a different Testament in a different time and so now the Sabbath isn't that important but yet God's not through with the Sabbath and we'll talk a little bit about that I probably won't go to it in detail to that so before I get everything written up here let's begin the next is chapter 20 Exodus chapter 20 verses 8 through 11 Exodus chapter 20 of course is the chapter in the Bible that gives us the Ten Commandments so in Exodus chapter 20 we have all of the Ten Commandments I actually wrote next to each one a number as I went down all the way through this passage so I would easily be able to find all 10 of them even if you have a Catholic Bible you've got a problem the second ones taken out they literally take out the second commandment in many Catholic Bibles and then they make two Commandments out of the last one and that's it's like why would they do that well what is the second commandment second commandment is thou shalt not make any graven image you go to a Catholic Church what do you see a whole lot of graven images so a lot of idols everywhere and they were like whoops we couldn't blew that one so let's just take that out the Bible so you gotta watch out for that but let's start here in Exodus chapter 20 I'm just gonna read verses up 8 9 10 and 11 because these are the verses that speak about the 10 commandments and many people today think we're still under the 10 commandments well if you get a chance go see my video entitled the commandments of God I did a series of messages on the commandments of God and I show how clearly today we are not under the Ten Commandments today today we're not under the Ten Commandments we're under grace and what we do today we've been walking with spirit that we fulfill not to the lust of the flesh and if we walk in the spirit while we do the things that pleases God and the law was you have to do this to please God well now we're saved we please God because we want to because we are saved we have the spirit so we're no longer under the law today so Exodus chapter 20 verses 8 through 11 now that's not an excuse to be lawless I have a video on YouTube and I ask you to watch it's called grace not an excuse to sin amen just because we're no longer in the law isn't an excuse for us to go do whatever the heck we want no we should try to live a holy life as a Christian it'd be a good testimony for Christ and not do sinful wicked things we should do our utmost best to live for Jesus and to please him now exodus chapter 20 part of the ten commandments is verse eight remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy six days shalt thou labor and do all that work but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God in it thou shalt not do any work thou nor thy son nor thy daughter nor thy manservant nor thy maidservant nor thy cattle nor thy stranger that is within thy gates for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth the sea and all that in them is and rested the seventh day where of the Lord blessed the seventh day and hallowed it hallow means made holy so he made it a day in which he says this day is holy to me I want you guys to do nothing on that day no work on that day this is my day and what is the Sabbath a lot of people have questions about what is the Sabbath day well we have a calendar you have a calendar go go look at the calendar and you'll see what the Sabbath day is let's look at this calendar up here real quick I want you to see what the Sabbath day is because some people are confused some people think that the Sabbath day is Sunday it's not I'm going to read here a little bit what the Sabbath day is it's it's uh we're gonna read more about it in Exodus 31 but here verse 10 says the seventh day is the Sabbath what is the seventh day well you look at any calendar it starts with Sunday Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday so the seventh day is Saturday so the Sabbath is Sabbath is Saturday the Sabbath is not Sunday some people will try to tell you I hate that sometimes a lot of people will hear that in my videos when I'm drawing something with these markers it goes and that sounds just like a seagull to me I'm like I can just imagine that people think is they listen to my videos without watching them breaker must be able to beat somewhere in there seagulls everywhere I don't know what does that's the seagull there well anyway this is the Old Testament law it was started God uses Moses but you need to know your Bible and you need to understand the Bible and so first thing we need to understand is that the Sabbath day is a Saturday the seventh day of the week it's not Sunday a lot of Europe Protestants over the years they try to say well we'll just say that the Sabbath is Sunday we'll keep it holy and we remember it no it's not the same thing saturday is Sabbath not Sunday now all we need to do is we need to rightly divide the word of truth 2nd Timothy 2:15 and when we rightly divide well we take the Bible and we lay it out here like I'm doing now and we see this law start with Moses then Jesus shows up and we find out that Jesus came to start something new a new covenant a New Testament but then we see a guy named Paul and we learn a lot from the Apostle Paul and I don't have time to go into why Paul's in the Bible but the very first thing you need to do as a Christian is understand Jesus came for a reason and then after Jesus he sent Paul and there's a reason that Paul's in the Bible now getting back to this Sabbath day many today believe that the Sabbath day is still the day that God wants us to keep and observe they claim that we must keep the Sabbath day they say it's one of the Ten Commandments so we must honor that day and keep it holy many who say this are in two camps all right because if you look at this the majority of Christians and the majority of Christian denominations don't follow the Sabbath they go to church on Sunday but there's two gigantic groups that call themselves Christians I don't know how they do that many of them are under the law so they're going back to the Moses law they're not going to Jesus they're trying to follow the law but they claim to be Christians and they say that we must keep the Sabbath who are these two groups that are the most vocal in saying we must keep the Sabbath today the first is what's called the SDA that's the abbreviation for seventh-day Adventists the seventh-day Adventist Church says you must keep the Sabbath day it's kind of funny to me they go so far as to say that if you go to church on Sunday that's the mark of the beast I've never understood that you go to Revelation chapter 13 Marsten's mark of the beast is a literal mark in your right hand or your forehead it's not a day of the week where do they get that from well they get that from their teaching from their denomination from their tradition they do not find that in the Bible the mark of the beast is not what day you go to church on the mark of the beast is a literal mark that will be given in the tribulation and people will have to take that mark in their right hand or their forehead so that's ridiculous for them to say they going to church on Sunday or any other day than the Sabbath is the mark of the beast but they are the very very vocal ones that say you shouldn't go to church on any day but Saturday then we have what we call the Messianic Jewish movement and what this is this is a movement of people that claim to be Christians who are trying to go back to the old testament law with the jews and trying to worship jesus under the law now let me think about that for second doesn't doesn't paul this guy warned us about that and in galatians isn't that what the entire book of galatians is about don't go back to the law you're under christ you're not under the law so that's kind of odd but by trying to go back to the old testament law well then they have a problem they say oh yeah you know what we have to be under this this the sabbath thing so we got to do the sabbath thing so those are the two biggest groups both of these groups claim we must keep the sabbath or saturday and they say you should not go to church on sunday many of them you even say that it's apostasy to go to church on sunday and many people I've heard this all over and I think it's ridiculous many people say it was the Roman Catholic Church that started this Sunday worship and so going to church on Sunday well that's Catholic no it's not no it's not in this sermon here I'm going to prove to you from the Bible from Paul that the early Christians from from before Paul even the early Christians went to church on Sunday they started going on Sunday they didn't go on Saturday now when they were Jewish they would go to the Jewish temple and they would go to the tabernacle they would go on Sunday Saturday the synagogue that's the word I'm looking for they would go to the sig on Saturday but when they became Christians when they followed Christ they began to meet together on Sundays that doesn't go back to the start of the Catholic Church in 325 AD that goes all the way back to the Apostle Paul and even those before him worshiping on Sunday this cannot be denied if you look at the body so we look at that today so a majority of Christians say that it's Sunday that we go to church or not Saturday there's just really two main groups that call themselves Christians that say no we believe that it's Saturday so you have this debate it's really not debate because again the majority of Christians say no it's Sunday they don't even think about the Sabbath because they have a Bible and they read it and say it's all about Sunday but you have these two dissenting groups that say no we believe that it's Saturday well what I'm going to show you today might shock you because what I'm going to show you today is that these two groups are absolutely positively without any shadow of a doubt wrong in saying that you must keep the Sabbath and if they are adamant that they must keep the Sabbath day then there is something that goes along with the keeping of the Sabbath day that they must do and they're not doing it now to claim that you're a believer in something but then you're not practicing that something you claim to believe in what does that make you a hypocrite when Jesus Christ showed up he came to the Pharisees which were religious people but they were lost and they were using their religious power to get money out of people that's wrong Jesus showed up and he said you vipers you hypocrites you generation of vipers how should you escape the damnation of hell Jesus Christ said your butt crits because you claim to follow me and the law but you don't even do what it says you abuse it for power and money and that's what I see that these groups are doing that are claiming to follow the Sabbath they claim they follow and keep the Sabbath but they don't practice what the Bible literally says they're supposed to do when it comes to the Sabbath and you're gonna be shocked and what the Bible says in Exodus chapter 31 now before we go any farther I want to back up in second Timothy chapter 2 verse 15 the Bible says we're supposed to study study Bible study to show thyself approved unto God we're gonna need about be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth so we're supposed to study and we're supposed to rightly divide so we go to the Bible we look at the Bible the first thing we see is God tells us divided isn't that weird you see the world today they don't wanted to find the world today is trying to unite everybody the world today is saying come together come together do you know that's not what God says that's what the devil wants the devil wants everybody to come together God tells people separate who does God want to separate he wants to his people to separate from the devil's people the devil says no I want you to come over to my side I want you there Christians to get together with me Luciferian a Satanist so we can rub off on you and make you a little bit more farther away from God no God is a God of division and what God said in the very beginning of the Bible God divided this and divided that he divided the light from the darkness he divided this from the God is a God of division the way God sees it it's one or the other there's no mixture in between but what the world tries to do is blur the lines today we're seeing a great movement it's not great but I say it's great because it's big we're seeing a movement called transgenderism and they're trying to say no man and woman let's just blur the lines and just have both no God's got a division you're either a man or a woman act like it that's the way God says so in the Bible we see clearly a division and the first division if you are to study your Bible and the problem with many of these denominations is they don't study the first division that you find is that there is an Old Testament and a New Testament that's the most basic division in the entire Bible and the Bible says in the book of Hebrews we're going verse by verse in Hebrews now studying in Hebrews chapter 9 the Bible tells us that the Testament starts with the death of a testator so Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed his blood when he died he started the New Testament we are no longer under the Old Testament were under the new that's what the Bible teaches now some will say no that's not true we're still under the old test okay there why is there a new Testament can you explain to me why there's a new one if we're still under the old one why would you have to why wouldn't you have one there's a reason there's a new Testament the Old Testament was for Israel the New Testament was got to start a body for himself and the New Testament is all about the church and people getting saved into the body of Christ or the church now many of your seventh-day Adventists and many of your messianic people will say things such as well we're still under that Old Testament law it still applies today we still have to do the law alright I'm going to show you just a few verses to prove that that is bunk that is a lie that is not true the bible does not teach in the New Testament hey go back to the Old Testament it doesn't say that the Bible teaches the Old Testament was for a time and for certain people and the reason for the Old Testament was to point people to Christ now that Christ is come we're under grace we're not under the law so this is called the jerk Church age but it's also a time of grace and it's all about the church so let me show you just a couple verses just to prove that we're no longer under the law Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 15 he's talking about verse 13 and verse 12 Christ who's that Jesus Christ we were made nigh by the blood of Christ it says in verse 13 who did what what did Jesus Christ do verse 15 having abolished in his flesh the enmity enmity even the law of Commandments contained in ordinances for - making himself between one new man so making peace so Jesus Christ abolished in his flesh the law we're no longer under the Old Testament law now we're under grace go to Romans chapter 10 verse 4 I've got a video on YouTube many people told me this was a video that helped them probably more than any of the other videos it's called law versus grace and it shows you how we're no longer under the law or under grace now Romans chapter 10 so I would recommend you watch that if you get a chance law versus grace Romans chapter 10 verse 4 it's not my opinion I'm just showing you what the Bible teaches in those videos Romans chapter 10 verse 4 the Bible says for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth so when we come to Christ than we trust the gospel of salvation we're no longer under the law now we're under the law of faith it's a different law it's called the law of faith in the book of Romans now we're righteousness is by faith not by keeping of the law not by works so we're no longer under the law Christ as the end of the law for righteousness we are saved now by faith not by the law Romans chapter 6 verse 14 are we under the law today why these two groups that I mentioned say yes we're still under the law that's why we must keep the Sabbath well do they read the New Testament at all Romans chapter 6 in verse 14 says person shall not have dominion over you for you are not under the law if you have a pencil or pen underline that word not you are not under the law but under grace today in the day a name which in which we live and where are we well we're about right here we're very close to the rapture which is what this arrow is I believe the rapture could be any time we're here we're not back here and the Bible says today we're no longer under the law we're under grace so we're in the age of grace we're in the time period of grace we're in the time in which people are saved by grace we're no longer under the law but under grace so according to Paul we are no longer under the law today the law cannot save us we don't get saved by keeping the law so we can't be saved by keeping that law a good verse on that is Galatians 2:16 now if you're one of those people that thinks that we're still under the Old Testament you need to read the book of Galatians because it's very plain in the book of Galatians Paul is telling people no it's no longer this that saves us the law now save by the blood of Christ through faith in his blood faith in the gospel the blood atonement of Christ so ablations chapter 2:16 I don't know how you can make it any clearer than this Galatians 2:16 says knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by the faith of Jesus Christ even we have believed in Jesus Christ that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law or by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified period you cannot be saved by the works of the law you're saved by faith you trust in Christ in your belief and you're safe now that stated let's look at Paul alright I want to show you what Paul says let's go to Romans chapter 14 if you look at the Bible look at the New Testament the New Testament tells us that we have an apostle today named Paul and Paul the Apostle is our apostle the Bible says in Romans 11 13 he says I'm the apostle to the Gentiles so if you're not a Jew then the Gentile apostle for you today is none other than the Apostle Paul so Paul what he says is what we're to go by today he's the apostle Jesus revealed to Paul doctrine for us today who are the church and we're supposed to follow Paul does Paul mention the Sabbath does he talk about which day we should worship God on why yes he does in Romans chapter 14 verse 4 I'll begin there who art thou that judges another man's servant to his own master he standeth or falleth yay he should be holding up for God is able to make him stand verse five one man esteemeth one day above another another steam a--the every day alike let every man be fully persuaded and in his mind okay so there's one group that says well we we keep the Saturday that's the day that we want to follow and then another group says no we follow the Sunday and so Sunday is ours so Saturday of course is the Sabbath so Paul is saying there's some people that say this day other people say that day well for sake of what we're talking about today let's let's look at that there's some people that say Sunday others may Saturday which is the day that we as Christians should worship on does it even matter doesn't even matter verse 5 one man esteemeth one day above another another esteemeth every day alike well that's us today we pretty much say yeah Saturday is just like every other day let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind the Apostle Paul says you need to be completely persuaded in your mind which of these two days is the day that you worship God on now how do how do you become persuaded well what I'm going to contend to do is persuade you from the Bible you see I'm not going to tell you my denomination I'm not going to tell you my personal feeling on the matter I'm not going to tell you what I think I'm going to tell you the Bible says this now you'd be persuaded in your own mind which of these two days is the day for today that we set aside for God and once you're persuaded then you can tell others but make sure you know which scriptures make sure you persuade others with the Bible verse 6 he that regardeth the day regardeth it unto the Lord and he's regardless not the day to the Lord he does not regard it he that eateth eateth to the Lord for he giveth God thanks and he Vanitas not to the Lord he eateth not and giveth God thanks I said let's read down to verse 10 okay for none of us liveth to himself and no man dies to himself 8 for whether we live we live unto the Lord and whether we die we die into the Lord whether we live therefore or die we are the Lord's verse 9 for to this in Christ both died and rose and revived that he might be Lord both of the Dead and the living now verse 10 but why does thou judge thy brother or why'd us now set it not thy brother for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ so there was a question that was arisen in the time of Paul about which day should been worship not on which they should were they regard unto the Lord verse 6 and Paul says in verse 4 why do you judge another man's servant and then there in verse 10 he says the why are you judging you see we're not supposed to go around and judge people based upon what day they go to church or they go to synagogue or they go to whatever we don't go around be like uh yeah you're not a good person because you better charge on Sunday or something like that that's anti scriptural but again these two groups that want to get back under the law that's what they do they judge you based upon whether or not you go to church on the day they go which is Saturday even the Seventh day Adventists are very very very bad about this and they say well you have the marketing beast on you because you go on Sunday and that's ridiculous that's not following the New Testament that's not following the Scriptures for them to do that what does the Bible tell us to do John 7:24 Jesus said judge righteous judgment so we're supposed to judge for ourselves and judge righteously what is right well we have a dilemma when we have a question we have two things that we have to find out we need to be fully persuaded in our mind verse 5 and we did say okay I need to judge I need to go to the scriptures and judge for myself what is right Saturday or Sunday and that's what we're to do in 1st Thessalonians 5:21 Paul commands prove all things hold fast that which is good so let's prove today through this sermon through this teaching which day is the right day for Christians to worship on is it a Sunday or is it saturday so you can 7215 like I said earlier tells us to rightly divide the word of truth so we're gonna rightly divide today we're gonna go to the scriptures second Timothy 2:7 Paul says consider what I say the Lord give the understanding in all things alright so we've gone to the Apostle Paul we've looked at what he said I asked you to consider what Paul says and ask the Lord to give you understanding in this matter so with all of this stated I want to go back to the Old Testament and we're going to go straight to the Old Testament law and what I want to do is read to you what the law of Moses says about Saturday about Sabbath and I want to ask you a question does this look like to you something that we should do today now watch out be careful I know there's gonna be some seventh-day Adventists that watch this video and I know they're probably screaming right now but wait until I read these verses from Exodus 31 and then you tell me who's right and who's wrong it's not about me being right and you being wrong it's about the Bible being right and we're all wrong unless we write up line up with the scriptures all right I took you to Exodus chapter 20 and read you the Ten Commandments and I showed you how one of the Ten Commandments was keep the Sabbath keep it holy now I showed you verses in the New Testament where the law is more than just a king Commandments in the Bible it's called ordinances so just as you have law in a city or a country you know you have the law then you have these little subsection ordinance this ordinance that in the Old Testament law of Moses there's more than just the Ten Commandments under the commandment of keep the Sabbath there's an ordinance that must be kept okay you seventh-day Adventist we must keep the Sabbath okay then you must keep the ordinance that I'm about to read then I want to ask you if you're gonna do it because if you keep what I'm about to read you'll be in jail before you know it you see you can't keep this today or you go directly to jail you do not pass go do not collect 200 you go to jail you said what are you talking about let's go to it Exodus chapter 31 and verse 12 to 18 this is how according to the law of Moses that you are supposed to keep the Sabbath watch what it says this ordinance Exodus 31 12 then the Lord spake unto Moses saying unto who Moses okay this is the law Moses verse 13 speak now also unto the children of Israel saying barely my Sabbath's you should keep for it as a sign between me and you throughout your generations that you may know that I am the lord that does sanctify you so the Sabbath the Saturday is a sign it's a sign to who it's assigned to Israel notice this the church hadn't even been in hadn't even come into existence yet so obviously it's not talking to the church obviously it's not today because still that's before Christ died so this Sabbath is a to Israel it was given by God to Jews the nation of Israel not to today notice what it says verse 14 now verse 14 and 15 gives you the penalty for not keeping the Sabbath notice what it says verse 14 ye ye of course being Jews Israel the nation of Israel ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore for it is holy unto you everyone that defileth it shall surely be what put to death so if you go to church on Sunday why you must die what no no that's not what C the Sabbath was for the Jews in the Old Testament we're no longer under the Old Testament were under grace it weren't a grace then we don't go around killing people but the law demanded that you keep the Sabbath under penalty of death that means if someone didn't keep the law they're to be killed again it says it in verse 15 let me read verse 14 I didn't finish it you shall keep the Sabbath therefore for this holy unto you everyone that defileth it shall surely be put to death for whosoever doeth any work there in that soul shall be cut off from among his people 15 for six days may work be done but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest holy to the Lord who sort of do it they need work in the Sabbath day he shall surely be put to death write that up here if you do any work if you do any work on the Sabbath day under the Old Testament law thank god that's not for today otherwise we'd have to go around killing people if you did any work you are to be put to dunt dunt dawn put it in big letters death now you that go around and try to tell me and tell other people that we have to keep the Sabbath day and it's one of the Ten Commandments we have to keep the ten bands we got to keep the Sabbath day when have you put anyone to death for not keeping Sabbath you say oh well we don't do that today no no no no no that is the ordinance you must keep that ordinance if you believe that you must keep the Sabbath so what did you kill somebody when did you kill anyone who did work on the Sabbath day you said well we don't do that then you're a liar you're a hypocrite you're a heretic you're someone that's claiming we have to keep this commandment and you're not keeping the commandment because part of the commandment is kill if they do anything on the Sabbath do you see how a simple study and reading of the Scriptures proves meetings beyond any shadow of a doubt that this was before Christ this was under the Old Testament and it's not the same as the New Testament do you see how this is something that we can't even do today how would anyone be so foolish as to say we've got to keep the Sabbath and then ignore the part of the Sabbath that says put people to death and do any work on it you can't pick and choose what parts of the ordinance you want to keep the law says don't work on the Sabbath that's how you keep it if you do one work like you get up in the morning and you cook breakfast here to be stoned I've never met a seventh-day Adventist in my life that didn't cook breakfast on a Saturday they work on Saturday and yet they brag on how they keep the law no they don't or every one of them would be dead over an exit is 35 one through three I'll come back over here to Exodus 31 Exodus 35 one through three look what it says here and Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together and said to them these are the words that the Lord have commanded that you should do them all right if you want to be out of the Old Testament law you want to keep the Sabbath that you have to do what the law and the ordinance and it says and it says kill them if they work on the Sabbath verse two says six days shall work be done but on the seventh day there should be two you and holy days Sabbath of rest to the Lord who sort of do it when any work therein shall be put to death we're told three times in the Bible you put them to death those people that are under this law if they do any work whatsoever now notice what's included verse three so Kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the Sabbath day verse three says you don't even light a fire if you light a fire you die according to the Old Testament you know what seventh-day Adventists do do you know what these Messianic Jews do they go to church on Saturday they go out to their car and they pull out their car key and they put it in the car and they turn it and inside that engine inside the piston why a little bit of gasoline pumps into and then BOOM an explosion takes place because it's a fire it's called a combustible engine while there is a fire kindled inside that engine so every single one of those people that denomination are guilty of death because they claim to obey God they claim to obey the Old Testament they claim they are under the Old Testament law and they keep the Sabbath and they've all kindled a fire most of them came to the fire bus by cooking breakfast in the morning but they all start their engines and drive to their local church what do they do or synagogue or whatever they call it they have broken the law of Moses every Saturday over and over and over and over and over again and God says if you were under that covenant we're not we're over here in a new one thank God but if they were truly under that covenant they should be put to death how do they put them to death in the Old Testament they stoned them they picked up stones and threw them at people until they died do you see the hypocrisy of those people that try to tell you that we're under the Old Testament law and that we must keep the Sabbath if we must keep the Sabbath then we must go around and kill everybody that doesn't that claims to be a believer how ridiculous that is I can't do that does that sound like grace to you we're in the age of grace today does this sound like grace to you to go kill people you see the Old Testament law was for a time and for people it was for the Jew it was to prepare those people for the coming of the Messiah Christ and when the Messiah came he did away with that Old Testament to set up the New Testament so we're no longer under that Old Testament law to be under that Old Testament law means you ought to die anytime you do any work on a Saturday I don't know how to make it any cleaner I didn't finish Exodus 31 so let's go back to Exodus 31 and I read their verse 14 and 15 the end of verse 14 says that soul shall be cut off from among his people the Old Testament talks about the soul being cut off that means you're damned you were to be cut off from God and the wafer forgiveness which is sacrifice of blood you just go to hell is the way that is basically how when you read in the Old Testament is soul shall be cut off read that as go to hell because that's what it's saying and then it says here in verse 15 they shall surely be put to death on the end of the verse the verse 16 says wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath notice it doesn't say the church it's not us it's them back then to observe the Sabbath throughout their generation for a perpetual covenant so it's for Israel for them for a covenant for them and I believe that when the tribulation starts the Jews will go back to that covenant and try to keep it they don't see yet that Jesus had died for them so they're going to go back to the Sabbath you know what you'll probably see after the rapture of the church you will probably see the Jews in Israel getting back under that Old Testament law and you will probably see someone stoned to death in the streets of Jerusalem because they did work on the Sabbath because those Jews will adhere to that Old Testament law again in the tribulation so you would probably see if you miss the rapture and you're watching TV they're probably on the news oh my gosh look at this these people in Israel are stoning this guy what a horrible religion the news media will say look at him killing this guy and all I did was just start a fire on a Saturday how horrible because the world's against the Jews but this is the Old Testament now verse 17 of Exodus 31 is a sign between me and the children Israel forever for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed verse 18 and he gave unto Moses when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount sinai two tables of testimony tables of stone written with the finger of God what do you think those two tables of stone were while that was the Ten Commandments so one of the Ten Commandments is come if they do any work whatsoever on the Sabbath day are you gonna tell me that we're still under the Ten Commandments if so why don't you throw the first stone hello are you listening why don't you pick up the rock and throw it at me because I go garage sailing on Saturday and I ain't gonna quit I am under grace I'm not under this I can go start my car up drive on over and look for stuff at garage sales and I like to do it sometimes I don't go to garage sales sometimes I stay home and go sailing or sometimes I go fishing or sometimes I have to mow the yard or something I've I'm all the yard while I started a fire because I started that combustible who are you to tell me that I must keep this that carries the death penalty if I don't follow it how dare you you know what you should do you should read your Bible and rightly divide what you're doing is you're not rightly dividing you're trying to put me back under what the Bible calls a curse book of Galatians says the Old Testament law was a curse now you see why it's a curse kirshen are those that don't keep the law if you work upon Saturday you're cursed because you ought to die and many people did so the Sabbath was for Israel he carried the death penalty for those who did not keep it those who did work on it so there's two things here under this Old Testament that says you ought to die first of all you ought to die if you don't keep the Sabbath when we over here we don't keep the Sabbath secondly you ought to die if while you're keeping the Sabbath you do work and if you work on the Sabbath they need to be put to death so you're double damned under the Old Testament law because today we keep Sunday not the law so we're all the seventh and it's running around stoning us to death if they really believe what they taught they should come to every Christian Church and kill every Christian in every Christian Church that meets on Sunday but you know we can use the same argument though we can go to their churches and say I'm sorry we have to kill you because every one of you started your car and that started a combustible engine which is fire in it to come to your church your seventh-day Adventist Church so I'm sorry we're gonna stone y'all today no no under the New Testament we don't kill anybody the only people that kill people in the New Testament is in time of war in self-defense or the government is supposed to put people to death that's committed murder or rape or horrible things like that and sadly government's don't even do that nowadays so we today we don't go around killing people we today aren't under that Old Testament law let me close with this now how about it in the Bible does it tell us in the New Testament about going to church on Sunday you see many of these Seventh day Adventists they just lie they just lie through their teeth I'll never forget my grandmother the way she talked my grandmother in Oklahoma when someone told a lie she was telling me story about somebody she'd say and that person just lied they didn't lie they lied you know she had to say it real long you know but they just lied through their teeth if you're a Seventh day Adventist and you go around telling people that going to church on Saturday is the mark of the beast you have just lied through your teeth you have tried to put people back under an Old Testament law a law that demands the death penalty based upon whether or not they do anything on Saturday that is the most horrendous most hateful most horrible most disgusting thing and what it does is it shows your out right ignorant of the Bible don't you dare tell me that you know the Bible when you can't even rightly divide the difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament between the law and grace don't even waste my time anyway does the Bible tell us about people going to church on Sunday why yes go to the book of mark marks after 16 and verse 9 look at when Jesus rose again see who Jesus rose again first thing on Sunday morning as soon as it became Sunday morning on the Gentile calendar Jesus rose again it says here now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week he appeared first to Mary Magdalene out of whom he had cast 7 death so Jesus appeared early the first day of the week but he didn't just appear the first day of week he said he was risen early the first day of the week so Jesus Christ rose from the dead on Sunday he didn't rise on Saturday if Jesus Christ would have risen from the dead on Saturday that he should have been stoned according the Old Testament law because it's a work to raise yourself up from the dead right so no he had to wait till Saturday was completely over and as soon as it was over up from the grave he rose with the mighty trial for his foes he rose he arose all victor on the dark domain and he lives forever with his Saints to read I just love that him he rose he rose hallelujah Christ arose so when did Jesus Christ arise Sunday wasn't a Saturday could not have risen from the grave on a Saturday because that would have began against the law what Jesus have obeyed the entire law all his life and then died and the first thing he did when he rose from the grave was was disobeying the law it doesn't make sense so what Jesus did he rose again on Sunday morning now in the rest of the Bible you know we find we find the early church saying you know what let's commemorate that let's remember the day that he rose and let's come together on that day go to John chapter 20 and verse 19 John chapter 20 verse 19 then the same day and evening being the first day of the week when the doors were but where the disciples were where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews came Jesus and stood in the midst and saith unto them peace be unto you Jesus Christ appeared on Sunday so this is the day that Jesus appeared to his disciples what day was it Sunday and they were all together in one place and Jesus showed up on Sunday and said any time here so Jesus appeared on Sunday no that's good Acts chapter 20 and verse 7 as you read through your New Testament you see a pattern of the early disciples meeting on a Sunday remember first day of the week is Sunday last day of the week is Saturday so they were meeting on Sunday Acts chapter 20 verse 7 and upon the first day of the week that would be Sunday for you seventh-day Adventists for upon the first day of the week when the disciples came together to break bread Paul preached unto them ready to part of the morrow and continued speeches bill midnight what day was that Sunday why Sunday worship was what the early it wasn't mark of the beast was it why it was what they did now in 1st Corinthians chapter 16 verse 2 Paul is talking about the collection for the Saints he's talking about taking up an offering in 1st Corinthians 16 to support the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store as God has prospered him that there be no gatherings when I come so he says put aside everything on the first day of the week so what is he saying is writing to the elders here he's telling them take up an offering on Sunday and lay that aside until I come so they're meeting on a Sunday and taking up offerings on a Sunday you know what that sounds like to me people worshiping on a Sunday meeting together on Sunday what is this 60 years after Jesus this isn't the Catholic Church setting up Sunday worship this isn't the mark of the beast this is the early church coming together on the first day of the week why putting God first in your week let's give him the first day and put him first let's don't say God I'm gonna give you the last day rest of the weeks for me and then I'll remember you at the end no it's God I'm gonna give you the first day of the week it's all about you it's all about Jesus Christ so this is what the Bible teaches about the Sabbath I know I've been a little strong I may have maybe been a little bit of harsh maybe I don't know but you need to understand something there are people out there wolves in sheep's clothing liars that want to deceive you and they want to attack true Christians and say oh you're evil you're waking you're ungodly you've got the mark of the beast cuz you go to church on Sunday and we look at them where we go and you shouldn't even be alive you should have been stoned to death the first time you started your car up to go to church on Saturday if you really believe the Old Testament law are we really gonna allow people like that to tell us what we shouldn't do who are true Bible believers I don't think so I will never listen to a man who says that I have to go to church on Saturday when his basis for telling me that is well because the Old Testament law says so and I say okay well that's the case let's look at every time the Old Testament law says so and what we find the Old Testament law says if you don't honor Sabbath you die okay so you want me dead that's basically what they're saying everyone who says you must keep the Sabbath is saying I wish you were dead because secretly deep down they know that you can't keep it so that's really sad that's really sad that someone could be that foolish to not understand the Bible and the right division that we're no longer under this Old Testament were under grace my designer today is to get you to see the truth so the best way to explain it is under the law it was Saturday so under the Old Testament law the Jews by the way it was all about the Jews it was all for the Jews all for Israel law Saturday grace what Sunday today were under grace I've showed you the verses that says no man is supposed to judge you based upon what day you choose to have Church so one of these seventh-day adventists doing going around judging and saying well I don't think you're right Community Church on Sunday who are you to judge you don't even rightly divide the word of truth why should we even listen to you now you say brother breaker why are you so adamant about this because I get emails all the time from people and these people are deceived and what happened is a seventh-day Adventist has come in and deceived them and warped their minds and made them think oh we were the only ones that are right because we're going to church on Saturday everybody else is wrong that goes on Sunday and what I've tried to do today is explain the truth and I've tried to show you that the truth is everyone that goes to church on Sunday is right because they're following the New Testament and everyone that tries to tell you you need to get under the Old Testament is wrong and they are the deceivers and they have deceived you because if they told you the truth the truth is you're supposed to be killed if you go to church on Saturday because you have to do work to get there you can build a fire then you to go to a church service on Saturday that's the death penalty buddy you don't die from that I need to be so blunt but sometimes I have to I have to well in this sermon I have not given the gospel so let me do that go with me to 1st Corinthians chapter 15 first Corinthians chapter 15 verse 1 through 4 I'll close with this and as sad as this is it's the truth if anybody thinks that they have to keep the law to be saved you know what without a doubt that type of a person isn't even saved the problem is people that think you have to keep the law have this mentality if I have to do works to be saved and so if they're thinking that their works save them then are they saved does the Bible teach in the New Testament that we're saved by our works and our keeping the law or does the entire New Testament say for by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast Ephesians 2:8 not actually the Bible says no we're saved by grace through faith so today salvation is by faith and we're saved by faith not works so it's not the Old Testament law that says it's the New Testament work of Christ and his shed blood what we call the gospel it's the blood atonement of Christ 1st Corinthians 15 1 through 4 sets more of a brother I declare it to you the gospel which I preached unto you which also you received and where do you stand well it's also you're saved if you keep in memory what I preached unto you unless you believed in vain for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures notice the gospel is that Jesus died for us not that we don't kill other people it's that Jesus died in our place what a blessing what Jesus did and according to the scriptures that he was buried that he rose again the third day according to the scripture so the gospel is all what Jesus did it's not what we do it's not what day we go to church that saves us it's what Jesus did Jesus died for our sins how did he do it he shed his blood without shedding a blood there's no remission of sins he rose again the third day according to scriptures it's through the blood atonement of Christ and faith trusting in the blood that we're saved you see you don't get to heaven because you didn't you you've went to church on a certain day you get to heaven based upon whether or not you've trusted Christ when you believe the gospel and you trust the blood of Jesus guess what I've read you the verse in Romans 10 for Christ is the end of the law to all who believe you're no longer under the Old Testament law when you get saved so that shows you that those that think that keeping the law saves them are two good Saint yet they're still under the curse now I gave all this not because I want to condemn people because I want to see people get saved you know there's a lot of so-called ministers and preachers on YouTube but really around the world and all they want to do is attack and put down and they just I guess they get off on it I guess they enjoy attacking and putting people down my motive for preaching this isn't to put down that crowd that preaches the Saturday it's to show them the truth that they've been deceived and it's because I love them and I want to see them get safe that I tell them the truth Paul preached the truth in his entire ministry the people that hated Paul the most were those that were saying that you got to keep the law to get saved they wanted Paul dead you know what Paul said he said the truth is you're only saved for the blood atonement of Christ not through keeping the law and Paul asked this question he said how about therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth I've told you the truth today about Sabbath worship and Sunday worship I've told you the truth and the truth is if you think Saturday is what you have to do because you think you have to follow the ten commandments of all the law then you need to enact the death penalty otherwise you're a hypocrite you're not even following the law now I do not condone that I don't want anyone ever killed because of this but I did explain it to show you what a fallacy it is to tell people that we're still under this Old Testament law today no today we're under grace we're saved by the blood of Christ and we can go to church any day we want you want to go on Saturday help yourself but you don't go on Saturday because you have to you set aside whatever day you want and most of the early Christians set aside the first day because that's the day that Jesus rose again but also that's the first day that week they want to put Jesus first so don't you attack me for going to church on Sunday you said but you're attacking me for going to church on Saturday no I'm not I'm clarifying to you something that if you are so dogmatic that Saturday is the church day then where's the death penalty here you have sinned against God going to church on Saturday by starting your car and kindling a fire you've done wrong are you gonna come to Jesus for salvation I hope you do I hope this has been a blessing I hope you understand I tried to make this short a little long but I appreciate your watching I hope this explains the truths about the Sabbath and I hope it helps you to understand we aren't seventh-day Adventists we aren't Messianic Christians we don't join the Jewish messianic movement we're Bible believers we follow the early apostles we follow Sunday we follow Paul we believe salvation is not of works but by faith and we go to church on Sunday because that's the day that Jesus rose from the dead that's the day the early Christians do hope this helps god bless we'll see you next time
