The Roblox Iceberg Follow-up

uh hey guys what's up welcome back to a new toasty original video i feel this is the 20th time saying this but holy crap the response to my iceberg video is insane i never expected it to get so much attention so thank you guys so so much for that that being said i never had plans to release another iceberg video i was proud of the one i made and with the fact that there was already another iceberg i didn't want to really run the idea into the ground that's what i thought but the longer my videos been up the more i realized that i probably need to make a follow-up i got a few more things wrong in my video than i thought i would and i got most of the empty spaces filled thanks to you guys in the comments add on a response from the original iceberg creator and a few extremely requested extra entries and i realized that i had to make a follow-up in the name of journalistic integrity and views so uh let's just get into the video and of course if you haven't seen my other iceberg video yet make sure to watch that first or this won't make any sense so unfortunately there were a few things i either got incorrect or just didn't get the full story of but thanks to the comments i can go through and correct them which i'm going to do now and also fill in some gaps that we missed starting with so i got a lot of comments telling me about the july 2nd incident but they all really confused it with the april fool's 2012 hacking which to be fair was not on the iceberg i will cover it later in this video the real july 2nd incident according to the creator of the iceberg was an event in the forums where someone ended up leaking their girlfriends doing they got spread around and a lot of accounts were apparently banned i have no pictures obviously but i'm just going to take buttery fish's word for it so uh an extra comment on jacob xx duels situation they actually commented on my video yeah the reverse polarity slash jacob xxdual actually found this video and left a comment so thanks a lot apparently the exploit specifically was in user names you can actually put spaces meaning people would just put jacob xx dual's name down and then put like space space space after it and that would count as a unique username so that means there could be you know hundreds of thousands of ways to put jacob xx dual if you consider the spaces before and after people chose the name jacob xx duel because they wanted uh his actual account to get banned in all the confusion of banning all the imitation accounts so that's what happened with that thanks for the comments it means a lot so uh i made a pretty minor error when talking about hw id bands and by that i mean i was completely wrong about them hw id bands are hardware id bands i got that right but they have nothing to do with your ip it's actually based off of your motherboard's unique id meaning that any accounts on that computer not network are banned with an ip band you can simply use a vpn or change your ip through other ways but with a hardware id band you need an entirely new computer slash motherboard or if you're particularly tech savvy you can spoof a new id either way this type of band is so under utilized that many roblox players don't even believe it exists yeah so apparently the ghost car i discussed in the last video was not the ghost buttery fish was referring to the actual apocalypse rising ghost was apparently an apparition that was supposed to spawn at midnight in one of the cities if all the lights were off couldn't find any discussion post or anything concerning it though this one is quick i wasn't wrong in this one per se he did die unfortunately but nan user brought up an awesome detail i didn't know about the well-worn hat was an item created in 2010 and was renamed to erica sells hat after he died apparently it was his favorite hat that's really heartwarming [Music] so thanks for all the comments on this one i mean of course i knew who stick master luke is but i couldn't find anything on this one for a while apparently at some point stickmaster luke owned a game called copied place leading people to assume it was stolen of course i couldn't find any kind of evidence but cuban ipad was actually something that spambots would post sometimes at the end of long messages or sometimes by themselves i guess every trace of cuban ipad in the form of spam has been erased so it apparently became an inside joke mainly among exploiters and hackers not some big alien conspiracy there are a few entries that probably should have been on the iceberg but weren't either because they were on the other iceberg or they just weren't well known enough i can't cover everything you guys requested in the comments but i will cover the ones i found interesting starting with this one is a bit of a doozy so i'm going to give it my best shot it all begins with draco swordmaster who is believed to have taken over user minish's account he then got into an argument with user merely over the roblox economy all because of some stupid domino crown merely in minutes were both banned and that's when draco swordmaster got access to the admin panel i'm not going to go too into detail with all the technical stuff mainly because i don't understand it entirely myself but essentially he gained access to admin privileges with his new power he unbanned the minish account drastically reduced the prices of many items and changed their names and changed roblox's banner multiple times he also uploaded this creepy face titled only with a smiley face which stayed in the catalog for a while until it was deleted he essentially could do whatever he wanted with the website for a time and it caused a lot of chaos this was viewed as probably the worst hack in roblox history [Music] i have no dates for this but at some point while roblox forums were up somebody posted a quite disturbing video of a camel getting its throat slit and slowly dying it was a gross video but as a testament to how disturbing the roblox community can get it became sort of a meme amongst trolls getting posted to the forums multiple times and such you can actually find this video online if you look which of course i don't suggest but i actually found a meme where it was edited into a kids react video now i'm going to play it but i'm going to blur out the video the audio can be pretty disturbing so if you don't want to hear it you can skip to this time stamp [Applause] that's disgusting [Applause] [Music] i can't really understand what happened there this is gonna be burned into my brain all because of you guys i'm gonna have nightmares about that if you know me from the last video you know i'm a huge fan of tonal whiplash so i'm going to balance the messed up last entry with this fun closing entry wongawongawanga simply refers to a song an old roblox exploiter would play when he destroyed games i don't really have much else to say so i'm just gonna play the video for you [Music] apparently it's a remix by crazy blocks of this uk advert got an old mobile ancient so last year she wants some money for it readies wonga then follow three simple steps it kind of slaps i've been singing it out loud as of recently which uh it's kind of cringe so those entries were all i found that were really interesting i know it's not much i just wanted to make this video relatively quickly to squeeze out some more views i mean give a little bit more context to the iceberg if you liked this video's dive into the roblox community you'll definitely enjoy my last video if you don't
