The Land Of Israel

and welcome back i'm robert breaker and that's right i'm back hey man i took a three-week vacation and i was gone for a little bit and while it was gone it seemed like a whole lot took place and a lot of people were emailing and saying brother breaker come on back you got to keep putting your weekly sermon up every week and have you seen what's happening in israel and all these things and i'm like yeah yeah i i i've been watching it and so the three weeks that i was off it seems like the world has changed a lot has happened and if you don't know what i'm referring to well you need to look at israel what happened in israel well it looks like israel just might be a war hamas shot a hundreds and hundreds of rockets into israel maybe you've seen the videos it almost looks like like stars falling from heaven these rockets and these missiles raining down on the people of israel so i go online and i read about it and i'm finding how israel is the bad guy and i'm scratching my head and i'm going wait a minute they're the ones that are being attacked but they're the bad guy and the whole world is all israel it's your fault and you're the bad guy israel for assaulting the palestinians in retaliation and i'm like what and then i go downtown pensacola and i'm driving under the 17th avenue bridge and i see free palestine it's all about palestine and palestinians and it almost seems like the world is trying to take sides and the world is trying to say no we want to go on the side of the other people and we don't want to help israel we don't want to defend israel and i look at that and i say well what does the bible say about all that how should we as christians view all this why are we even talking about some nation over there except for the fact that the bible is all about israel so do you think maybe we're in the last days and everything's coming to pass like the bible says well that's kind of the way i look at it so i thought today we would go to psalms chapter 122 psalms 122 and verse 6. and we're going to look at the land of israel today and i'm just going to give you kind of a oh how would i describe this kind of a book report maybe i'm going to give you just what the bible says about the land of israel we're going to look at who it belongs to according to god now if you believe in god then you'd want to follow god in the bible and the bible talks about israel and who it belongs to and so we're going to do a great bible study about that and see what it says then we're going to see who wants it and then we're going to ask the question why would someone want that it's just a bunch of desert you know down here is the negev desert i wanted to go to israel for a little while there and it looked like in 2020 we were going to go and then the cove had broke out and they shut their borders and i never got to go over there but i'll be honest with you i never really desired to go see a bunch of desert but from what i understand it's it's a beautiful place now and uh it's it's a nice place to go and as a christian see where jesus walked and see where all these stories and the old testament took place so i don't know if i'll ever get to go to israel but why are so many people talking about it why is it on the news all the time why is it all israel israel israel what is this all about well like i said it's a spiritual battle it's not just a physical battle there is a spiritual battle taking place there and i want you to see that so what should we as christians do should we take a side well most people know that most christians are on the side of israel and there's a reason for that but here's what i think we should do all right whether you're a palestinian or whether you're an israeli i think you both should do this all right look at psalms chapter 122 and verse 6 and king david says in psalms 122 6 pray for the peace of jerusalem they shall prosper that love thee so what should we do we should pray for peace you go over to israel and the greeting in israel is shalom peace we don't want war i don't want war jews don't want war israelis don't want war israel is not wanting to fight they just want peace well i believe that's what we should all want peace peace pray for the peace of jerusalem now look at psalms chapter 120 and verse 7 since we're so close david says in his day it was the same thing if you read your old testament it's amazing the bible is amazing we're living today in the new testament of the bible but much of what took place in the old testament looks like it's repeating in the new testament and all throughout the old testament when the jews were in israel all their enemies sought to have war with them and fight them and so way back here in the old testament you see that and you see david having to deal with people attacking him seems like all throughout history since the jews came into that land someone has always said no we want this get out isn't that interesting so look what david says in psalms 120 and verse 7 i am for peace but when i speak they are for war king david one of the most popular jewish leaders in history said i don't want war i want peace and that should be what we all want we should all want peace but there are some people out there that don't want peace there is a group called hamas have you ever heard of hamas hamas were the ones that were shooting all the missiles into israel and i look at hamas and it's just amazing to be able to speak spanish in spanish we have a word that is pronounced the same exact way hamas i think it takes an accent hamas if i remember right and in spanish hamas means never and if you look into hamas and you look into these people that that want to kick out israel they don't want peace and they don't want to share the land they're like never will we rest until we own the whole thing it's almost like that's their whole and what a weird name you know there are things hidden in names believe it or not so what does the bible say about this well a lot of people are in favor of palestine that's why they say free palestine and that's all ties into anti-colonialism they view the jews as colonialists that have come in and taken over a land that belongs to someone else and their saying is we believe that land belongs to the palestinians and the jews are at fault and the jews are evil for trying to take over that land they say they have no right to it well i can understand their thinking but but do the jews have a claim to that land let's look at the bible because in the bible they do let's go to genesis chapter 12. i'm going to give you a little bit of a history lesson today and i'm going to show you what this whole palestinian versus israel thing is and uh show you all about this how it is indeed a spiritual thing there's a spiritual battle taking place there as well as a physical one but what does the bible say you see america was founded on god and the bible most people most of the founding fathers maybe they weren't saved but they were bible readers everyone in that day read the bible throughout history people read the bible in fact the whole calendar is based on this fellow jesus because so many people would read the bible today is 2021 a d and o domini after the birth of jesus so all throughout history it can't be denied that that that our forefathers followed the bible okay but today we're starting to see people get away from the bible it's been said that you can't have a bible in a secular school in america you can't pray in america and america has kicked out god in the bible and it's sad because of that many americans don't read the bible and don't know what the bible says about the issue rather they will follow the news media and the news media is saying israel is the bad guy israel's the bad guy and you look at that you go well what does the bible say about it well let's go to the bible and i just want you to see what this whole thing is because it is a battle between palestinians arabs and jews why is there this battle well it actually goes back almost four thousand years it goes back a long time this isn't some new conflict this has been going on for century actually millennia okay and so it's good to know who the players are and what the bible says about it so the bible tells us that there's a guy named abraham okay and in his name before abraham his name was abram and the bible tells us that god chose this guy named abram and that the bible says that god made an oath to this man and god swore something and god gave something to this man abraham so i'm going to put abraham up here abraham we're going to look at this fellow named abraham because he had two sons and as you read the bible you can't help but see that there's something that's given to abraham it is a land and this land was given to abraham all right let's get started i'm going to go through many scriptures i'm going to show you what the bible says genesis chapter 12 and verse 1 now the lord had said unto abram abram is his name which means high father later in the bible his name is changed to abraham which means the father of many nations and you'll see why in a minute and he said unto abraham get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred and from my father's house unto a land that i will show thee and i will make them be a great nation i will bless thee and make thy name great and thou shalt be a blessing now watch what it says and i will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curseth thee and indeed shall all families of the earth be blessed what an amazing statement to make to a man but god told this man abraham this now look at verse 7 and the lord appeared unto abram and said unto thy seed will i give this land and there build that he an altar unto the lord who appeared unto him now genesis 13 14 we've got a lot of verses to read just to give the context until you'll understand but it talks about a seed abraham had two sons he had a son named ishmael and he had a son named isaac ishmael and isaac now that's not the same ishmael from moby dick you know call me ishmael but that's probably where he got the idea from and it says here in genesis chapter 13 we see the continued promise all throughout the old testament especially in the book of genesis we see god promising a land to this man and to his seed now look what it says genesis chapter 13 and verse 14 through 17. and the lord said in abram after that lot was separated from him lift up now thine eyes and look from the place where thou art northward and southward and eastward and westward for all the land which thou seest to thee will i give it and to thy seed look what he says here for ever so this is a land grant from god to a man and to his seed that's amazing if you believe in god some people don't but if you do god said there is someone in this world that i am going to give land to and that is land that he is supposed to be on and live in and own forever who is he talking to verse 16 i'll make thy seed as the dust of the earth so that if a man can number the dust of the earth then shall thy seed also be numbered arise walk through the land and length of it and in the breath of it for i will give it unto thee so all the length and all the breath of all the land that abraham walked through throughout his lifetime god says that's to you and your seed all right now go to genesis 15 18. genesis 15 18 in the same day the lord made a covenant with abram saying unto thy seed have i given this land from the river of egypt that would be the nile river but look at this unto the great river the river euphrates that's over close to babylon over in that east so that's a long gigantic huge partial of land way bigger than the little map of israel today that you see it it goes way over here to the nile river and it goes way clear over there to what used to be persia in those places now let's continue it's interesting god gave the borders genesis 17 verse 6 and 8 and i'll make thee exceedingly fruitful and i will make nations of thee and kings shall come out of thee and i will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant to be a god unto thee unto thy seed after thee and i will give unto thee and to thy seed after thee the land wherein thou art a stranger all the land of canaan for an everlasting possession and i will be their god okay so abraham had those two sons ishmael and isaac now ishmael was a son that he had with a bondwoman a servant and that wasn't the one that god chose because as we read through the bible we realized no he he didn't choose ishmael he chose isaac and do you realize that ishmael is where modern day arabs come from many of them come from ishmael and we'll see here in a minute that esau mixed with ishmael and so you you see god's line of his chosen which are the ones from abraham and then you see another line of abraham and they're a great nation too and in the bible god says there'll be a lot of nations from abraham well there are all the arab nations come from abraham and all the jewish people come from abraham uh recently there was a compact or an accord made a peace treaty if you will and it's called the abraham accord i think it was that jared kushner fellow who was behind most of it and he went to the arabs and he went to the jews and he said let's all get together because we have one common father abraham and so it's called the abraham accord because jews come from abraham and arabs come from abraham isn't that interesting but the site that the arabs came from was the side that god said now that's not the ones i'm giving the land to i'm going to give it to this people over here and let me show you how god said that this land was for israel the jews and not for the arabs now people don't want to hear that but it's in the bible and i want you to see it so let's go to genesis 21 and verse 12. genesis chapter 21 to verse 12 and god said unto abraham let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad and because of thy bondwoman speaking of ishmael in all that sarah hath said unto me hearken unto her voice for an isaac shall thy seed be called god says i'm choosing isaac rather than ishmael and so god says so i'm going to pass on this this covenant this uh this deed i don't know what it is to call it but it's a land deed god is saying i am giving you the land of israel in a covenant in a promise and i'm promising this land to you and then i'm promising it to go to isaac and not ishmael whoa really is that really what the bible says uh yeah let's continue genesis 22 16 genesis 22 16 and it says there and said by myself have i sworn god is speaking sayeth the lord for because thou has done this thing and has not withheld thy son thine only son in that in blessing i will bless thee and multiplying i will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven as the sand which is upon the seashore and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies wow god says your seed isaac that's the one he chose shall possess the gate of his enemies there'll be some enemies that come and take over the land but then he says no but but you'll get the land not your enemies and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because thou hast obeyed my voice now go to genesis 28 genesis chapter 28 so you know the history and you know your bible here's what happened isaac had two kids isaac had esau was the name of one and jacob in esau the bible says did something bad he sold his birthright as the firstborn he was supposed to have something but he sold his birthright and so he sold his birthright and god so i i'm not in favor so i don't like esau because he did that and so god chose jacob and we see this in genesis chapter 28 verse 1 and isaac called jacob and blessed him and charged him and said unto them thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of canaan so we know the contest is he's talking to jacob now look at verse three and four and god almighty bless thee and make thee fruitful and multiply thee and thou mayest be a multitude of people and give thee the blessing of abraham to thee and to thy seed with thee that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger which god gave unto abraham so wait a minute the bible says that it goes to jacob and not esau now do you realize that ishmael and esau this is where your modern-day arabs come from and many of them like to call themselves palestinians because they like to call this land over here the land of palestine which is interesting you know that comes from philistine the word palestine comes from philistine and when the children of israel left in the exodus they came through and god says go and make war with the philistines and take over the land because that's the land that i promised you so that's interesting that the word palestine comes from philistine interesting well the philistines were not god's people they were the enemies of god and god told them to go fight the philistines so we're in genesis chapter 28 let's go ahead and read verse 13 and 14. but right there in verse 3 and 4 god says look the promise is to you jacob now look at verse 13 and 14 and behold the lord stood above it and said i am the lord god of abraham thy father and the god of isaac the land wherein thou liest to thee will i give it unto thy seed over and over and over you read through the book of genesis it's from abraham to isaac and to jacob the promise of the land not to ishmael not to esau and then verse 14 says and thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth thou shalt spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south and indeed and all thy seeds all the families of the earth be blessed now let's go over here to genesis 32 28 a lot of people say where does this nation of israel who started israel where does israel come from this is the answer genesis 32 28 says and he said thy name shall be called no more jacob but israel israel means a prince of god or a soldier of god that's what the name israel means for as a prince has thou power with god and with men and has prevailed and then on and on and on so god says jacob i am changing your name which is interesting i guess god can do that if he wants to this guy's name was abram god says i'm changing it to abraham so god says jacob i don't want to call you jacob you know the word jacob means deceiver and some planter he says i want to call you israel a prince of god because you are the one that i god chose to have the land wow you can't deny that if you read the bible now let's go quickly to genesis 35 let's go quickly to genesis 35 and verse 10. in genesis 35 10 and look what it says here and god said unto him thy name is jacob thy name shall not be called anymore jacob but israel shall be thy name and he called his name israel so once again another passage of scripture that says the name of jacob is now israel now jacob had some kids but let's continue reading here because jacob had the 12 tribes he had 12 sons which we know today as the 12 tribes of israel so these are the 12 tribes of israel i'm not going to give you the names you either know or you don't okay but look at what god says to israel to jacob about his 12 sons the 12 tribes verse 11 and god said unto him i am god almighty be fruitful and multiply a nation and a company of nation shall be of thee and the king shall come out of thy loins verse 12 and the land which i gave abraham and isaac to thee i will give it and to thy seed after thee will i give the land and god went up from him in the place where he talked with him so god says abraham isaac jacob and the 12 tribes i give the land grant of this whole nation to them how come he didn't give it to the arab nations why is that i wonder well i don't know i'm not going to question god all i know is that's what the bible says matter of fact let's go over to deuteronomy chapter 1 and verse 8. and as a christian as a bible believer i have no choice but to follow my book because i believe it's a book given me by god and so if it says that then okay that's what i believe you can argue with god if you want to but that doesn't sound like you'd be very smart to argue with god almighty but if you want to do that you help yourself i choose not to so deuteronomy chapter 1 and verse 8 says behold i have set the land before you who was this this is the 12 tribes who had a bunch of kids they were probably a million or two million in number as they left in the exodus and here god says to them behold i have set the land before you go in and possess the land which the lord swear unto your fathers abraham isaac and jacob to give unto them and to their seed after them we call this the abrahamic covenant so the land is for abraham isaac and jacob god omitted ishmael and esau and said no i'm not going to give the land to you i'm giving it to this seed and that's what we have today is the modern nation of israel and many of those that are there claim heritage to this now i know the bible talks about those that say they are jews and they are not and so i'm not going to get into that because i don't know who are the true jews and who aren't but i've met people in my life that claim to be jewish and i always ask them the same thing and most of the time they're able to answer this question and that helps me kind of understand whether or not they're a real jew or not because there are people out there that pretend to be jews and they're not jews they're pretending to be something they're not when i see a jew i say oh you're you're from israel you're a jew okay which tribe are you from and they'll usually answer well i'm from the tribe of issachar i'm from from judah or i'm from neptuli or i'm you know simian and and they know what tribe they come from if i ever meet one he goes well i'm a jew and i go literally what trap you from well i don't really no then i've got to kind of question that and go well are you a real jew because real jews know their bible the old testament and they know many of them what tribe they belong to i find that so amazing here we are almost four thousand years if i remember right abraham lived about two thousand years before christ and we're over here it's almost four thousand years ago and their people and you know the bible is a book of genealogy from adam all the way to jesus so if you can find your family history back about 2 000 years you could then tie it all the way back to abraham and all the way back back to adam in the bible but many jews they keep good records and many uh jews know what of the 12 tribes which one they're from many of the priests are from levi which is interesting if your last name is cohen cohen is the hebrew word for priest and the priests were the levi or levitical priests so you most likely were from the tribe of levi if your last name is cohen i mean there's things there's little clues like that that are quite interesting so according to god whose land is it is the land of ishmael esau and their descendants or did god say no the land is of israel and belongs to them well you know history i hope you do if you've read your bible eventually israel goes into egypt and for 400 years israel is in captivity and bondage as slaves if you will to the egyptians and after 400 years then is the exodus where they come across and come over here and they live in the desert and then finally they come into what they call the promised land maybe you've seen uh what is that cartoon i don't even remember the names i'm not big on movies but something about egypt out of egypt or something where they sing the uh we got the soundtrack because the songs are so beautiful and uh it's all deliberate to the promised land it's all about the jews and the exodus and going into their promised land okay well where is that in the bible it's right here exodus 12 25 exodus chapter 12 and verse 25 it shall come to pass when you become into the land which the lord will give you according as he hath promised that she shall keep this service so it's a promise to them of the land and they finally after 400 years got back into the land and so it was called the promised land and it was their promised land so jews lived there for a long time you go through the old testament you read the old testament what do you find the jews were in the land for a long time but then what happened well they sinned and then they were in babylon for 70 years and they went into the babylonian captivity so for 70 years they were out of the land but then they came back you know that happened several times in the bible when israel the people of israel the jews have the land and then god chastised them and they went into captivity and had to leave and then they came back and then left and came back and so we look at that and we say wow that's that's interesting look at what god says so if they leave the land in god's eyes that is not them saying well you can have it we don't want it anymore god says no no no no i promise to remember the word forever that this is your land and so if you ever leave i'm looking at it as but that's still yours and you need to come back to it i find this very interesting in deuteronomy chapter 7 and verse 6. so deuteronomy 7 6 says for thou art in holy people and the lord thy god the lord thy god hath chosen thee to be a special people unto him above all the people that are upon the face of the earth what a thing what a thing for god to tell israel that you are a chosen people and god says i have chosen you above all other people a little bit of favoritism there perhaps yeah but why well there's a reason god used moses and then god gave him the old testament law and believe it or not the old testament there's a lot of prophecy there and god used that prophecy to give a prophecy to daniel of in such and such a time will come the messiah and then came the messiah jesus christ now to this day many jews say well we don't accept jesus as the messiah and they're out here looking for a different messiah but you can't miss it if you read your bible jesus was the messiah because he showed up exactly in the timing of the prophecy of daniel daniel chapter nine well they rejected the messiah and uh so the book of matthew mark luke and john is all about jesus and then acts is all about how well the nation of israel stoned stephen rejected their messiah and so in about 70 a.d what happened the jews were cast out they were exiled they were dispersed we call this the dispersion the jewish dysphoria there's some sort of you know scholarly word despora or something i'll just call it the dispersion and in 70 a.d all the jews were kicked out and they were out of their land for almost 2 000 years then something miraculous took place in 1947 the united nations made a partition in which they partitioned this land that they called at that time palestine and they say we're going to petition half of this land to jews and half of the land to the arabs and so we're going to let them both live there because even the united nations at that time recognized the bible and said yeah they've got claim to this so in 1947 many jews went back and then in 1948 they declared laird themselves a nation again and boy were the jews happy and the jews were able to get back into their nation after almost 2 000 years why would they want to go back there well because the bible says it was a perpetual covenant and an everlasting possession and forever that land was given to them from god so jews believe in god and jews believe that god gave them a right to that land let me just throw this out here if you want to i'm not really big into movies there's not a lot of good movies in hollywood but there are two very amazing movies that i found that are clean and that are decent and are about this one is called exodus i believe it had paul newman in it it's all about how the jews got on ships and tried to go back to the land but they weren't allowed so they a lot of times they had to just dive off the ship to try to get onto the land it was hard for them to get their land back another was called cast a giant shadow cast a giant shadow and i believe it had douglas is it kirk douglas in it and uh he uh wow he was uh playing a general and it's a true story about how he helped israel win back in a war part of jerusalem and part of their country and you just see the fingerprints of god all over that and how god has helped those jews get back to their land and you can't deny that if god promised it to them then god was going to let them have it okay now leviticus chapter 26 and verse 27 says this god is speaking to israel leviticus 26 27-33 and if ye will not for all this hearken unto me but walk contrary unto me then i will walk contrary unto you also in fury and i even i will chastise you seven times for your sins sounds like the coming tribulation period and a time is years seven years will be the time of jacob's trouble it's called the tribulation just another reason why i believe in a pre-trib rapture in a future seven year tribulation but it continues there and god says this 29 you shall eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughter shall you eat and i will destroy your high places and cut down your images and cast your carcasses into the carcasses of your idols and i will make your city's waste and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation and i will not smell the savor of your sweet odors and i will bring the land into desolation and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at all interesting sounds like masada 73 a.d when they went up and they were trying to protect themselves from from uh from rome that finally kicked them out but look what it says here verse 33 and i will scatter you among the heathen and will draw out a sword after you and your land shall be desolate in your city's waste and then verse 34 then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths as long as it lieth desolate and on and on and on well we have other promises in the bible that god says he'll bring them back but god says if they don't follow him then they will be dispersed and that's exactly what happened this is a prophecy of the dispersion because the jews turned against their messiah and we see that and guess what happened to israel it became a desolation because of that a lot of people who claimed to be christians in the early days believed in what they called replacement theology and they said see god is done with the jews and everything that was a promise to them is now a promise to the church and so they say so now israel is really our land and that led to the crusades in the first and the second and third and fourth campaign in the crusades but that's not true we don't believe in replacement theology we who are true christians we believe in god's literal promise to israel and we saw something in 1948 we saw israel as a nation reborn and many christians said see i told you because we read the bible we believe it i got a book here uh innocence abroad roughing it in by mark twain this is a journal of mark twain and in the 1800s mark twain went over to israel and he found it as a desolation he said man this place is desolate man there's hardly anything here well that's just like the prophecy of the bible but now it's rebuilt and guess what the bible says when israel goes back that they will make the desert bloom like a rose and you go to israel now they say it's just as green as it can be that desert because they've learned how to bring in water and they're doing it and everything is coming to pass just like the bible says so i don't believe in replacement theology i knew that god had to give israel back i'm an independent baptist minister many of the independent baptist church before me back in the 40s and 30s and 20s many of them believed in a rebuilt israel and rebuilt jerusalem and jews back in israel and a lot of so-called christians made fun of him and said oh you're so dumb replacement theology that god's done with the jews but he's not and so we saw one of the greatest miracles in the history of the world when the jews came back into their land and declared themselves as a nation in 1948 why do i say that's a miracle because there are prophecies in the bible that cannot come to pass unless israel was rebuilt and especially a temple was rebuilt in jerusalem and so you read your bible and you look at that and you go i don't see how there couldn't be according to the bible a rebuilt temple israel in their nation again and the jews going back to israel it has to happen according to the bible to be true so let me go through and show you some things here there's a lot of verses that i want to give you but let's look at this let's go to deuteronomy chapter 30 deuteronomy chapter 30. it all boils down to this do you believe the bible if you do then you know that jews had to come back to the land and there are some people out there that claim to be christians they say we don't like the jews we're just matter of fact many within the roman catholic church throughout the the dark ages were anti-jewish and they said oh the jews killed jesus and we don't have anything to do with them and all this stuff and uh you go well that's not really the right slant on that the right slant is they're god's chosen people and god is chastising them but he will go back to dealing with them and what an amazing thing that he has done that and he's let them live in their land again that's incredible now deuteronomy chapter 30 look at verse three through five god prophesied in the old testament that if they had to leave their land and it was left desolate which we saw that took place that he would bring them back and so if you simply believe the bible you would have known that 1947 1948 would have taken place and you would have looked in the future and said yeah the jews are going to be back in israel in the end times and people probably would have ridiculed you and laughed you go no no no no and you go no no the bible says it and it has to take place in order for future prophecy to take place deuteronomy look at deuteronomy with me chapter 30 and let's look at verse three through five that then the lord thy god will turn thy captivity and have compassion upon thee and i will return and gather thee from all the nations where the lord thy god has scattered thee god is talking to the jews it says now when you're scattered throughout all the nations and they were they were in germany they were in russia they were in poland they were scattered throughout he says when you're scattered throughout the nations i'll bring you back and then look what he says in verse 4 if any of thine be driven out unto the utmost parts of heaven from thence will the lord thy god gather thee and from thence will he fetch thee and the lord thy god will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed and thou shalt possess it and he will do the good and multiply thee above thy fathers so god says there'll be a time that you guys are kicked out of the land wonder why well because they rejected their messiah jesus christ but they'll be dispersed in all the nations but god says that there will be a time and i'll bring all back and we saw that taking place beginning in 1947 and then in 48 them declaring themselves as a nation that's incredible the bible's true folks the bible is true now we that are christians we know that that had to happen and we know what's going to happen still we have seen them now in their land for over 70 years now what's the next thing that has to take place let's go to the book of zechariah according to the bible the next thing that must come to pass is that the jews that are in the land now must rebuild their temple so there will be in the future a re-built temple and this is coming up really fast i don't know if it'll be in the next year or two or the next five or ten years but i do believe the way things are looking it'll probably be in the next couple of years that in israel they will rebuild their temple that was destroyed now how do i know that because the bible says that let's go to zechariah chapter 6 and verse 15. now these are the true jews i'm talking about not the false jews okay but i'm not going to get into that today i'm not going to have a sermon on who are the true jews who are the false jews but there are the true jews and the way i look at it is well god knows those that are his the bible says so he knows who the true ones are and who the true ones aren't but in zechariah chapter 6 and verse 15 the bible says and they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the lord and ye shall know that the lord of hosts has sent me unto you and this shall come to pass if you will diligently obey the voice of the lord your god so there will be a re-built temple now if you know your bible we are today in the church age and the bible says next comes the rapture in which all that are saved that are born again all that are true christians will go up at the rapture they will come the time of the tribulation which i firmly believe is a seven year period and like i said pass over them for seven times a time is a year and in the tribulation which is called in the bible the time of jacob's trouble there's going to be them worshiping in the temple see revelation chapter 13 and you'll see that they are in a temple worshiping all right maybe it's chapter 11 11 and 13 talks about that and the antichrist and the antichrist comes during the tribulation and he tries to abuse israel and he kicks them out of their rebuilt temple and he does even more than that let's go to second thessalonians chapter two second thessalonians chapter two look at what the new testament tells us that there must be a rebuilt temple because when the antichrist comes he goes into that temple and he does something second thessalonians chapter 2 verse 3 let no man deceive you by any means for that day shall not come what day is that the day of christ verse 2 except there will be a falling way first and that the man of sin be revealed the son of perdition man of sin or the son of tradition is the antichrist first three and a half years he's the man of sin last three and a half years he's the son of perdition and it says here in verse 4 who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called god or that is worshiped so that he has god sitteth in the temple of god showing himself that he is god so the antichrist is going to go into jerusalem and sit down in the rebuilt temple most likely he's going to sit on the ark of the covenant believe it or not if you have ever seen pictures of the ark the ark is made like a throne it's made where you could almost sit there and he's going to sit in the temple and the antichrist is going to say i am god he's going to sit down he's going to say i am the true god i am the messiah and unfortunately some people are going to accept him matter of fact what's interesting in english the seat of the the the covenant the ark of the covenant okay the ark of you've probably seen the movie uh uh hopefully you haven't it's scary scene in it uh of raiders the lost ark but raiders in the lost ark what do they have there they have the ark of the covenant and it's all about them finding the ark well the ark right here this area right here on the top is called the mercy seat that's just amazing that it's called the seat a seat is where someone sits and the bible tells us that in the future after the rapture the antichrist is going to go into israel take over israel and jerusalem and he's going to sit himself on a rebuilt temple most likely on the ark of the covenant and sit down and say now i am god and the whole world will worship him and go after him but you know what it will be short-lived because that's not the promise of god in the old testament for the jews that's the false messiah that's the false messiah who comes to them and jesus said there'll be one that comes in his own name in him you'll accept but you won't accept me they rejected their messiah now they're gonna be in for a rude awakening because the one that they do accept will be the wrong one isaiah chapter nine the bible says that jesus christ is going to eventually sit there and that jesus christ comes back at the battle of armageddon and he destroys the antichrist look at the book of revelation for more about that and jesus is going to reign in the millennial kingdom for 1 000 years sitting on the throne in jerusalem so jerusalem had to be rebuilt and the jews had to come back to their land first so that the antichrist could try to say he's god he's the false christ and then so that jesus could sit in the throne of david in jerusalem and rule for a thousand years but look at isaiah chapter 9 verse 6 and 7 at this prophecy this is a prophecy of jesus christ isaiah 9 6 for unto us a child is born and unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called wonderful counselor the mighty god the everlasting father the prince of peace and speaking of jesus christ of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end upon the throne of david and upon his kingdom to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever the zeal of the lord of hosts will perform this so jesus christ the bible says will rule for a thousand years on the throne of david well david's throne was literally in jerusalem you know they found in israel that the archaeologist where david's house was and they did it was underneath an old parking lot and they started digging down they're like wow this was the royal residence of david wow isn't that is that coincidence yeah yeah or could it be prophecy coming to pass yeah sounds like prophecy to me and what does the devil try to do the devil tries to always counterfeit what god is going to do so that's why the devil comes in and sits down and tries to say i'm god no you're not what did hitler want he wanted a thousand year reich didn't he he wanted to do that he wanted to do his own thing so the millennial reign of christ is when jesus christ rules with the rod of iron over israel for a thousand years so do you see it do you see what the bible says the land is for israel let's go to isaiah chapter 16. and god said that it belongs to them but in the world in which we live we're seeing some weird stuff a lot of people are saying no israel's the bad guy while they're colonialist and we're anti-colonialist they say and a lot of that is taught in colleges today where they teach communism and socialism and anti-colonialism and they try to say the bible is bad and if you think about it long enough you realize oh oh they're just against god in the bible so their whole agenda is anything the bible says let's go against now i get why they're against israel who do the arabs worship they worship allah is allah the same god as the god of the bible well i'll let you do your own homework on that but do me a favor go to the internet and type in world net daily and uh type in 1700 bc god of violence and it was an article from wnd worldnetdaily from years ago in which archaeologists found something and they found a document from 1700 bc and that document literally says that allah is the god of violence and the god of war and rebellion who would that be who would be god that rebelled against the true god and tried to make war against him and rebel against him be in the bible hmm i know do you that's not the same god as the god of the bible that's a different god so do the arabs worship the same god as the bible got to ask that question don't you now you look at a map of modern-day israel and you ask this question is that what their border should be here's a book called dispensational truth and i just want to show you that if you go by the original land grant given to abraham we read it earlier the different borders and everything this is what the nation of israel should look like according to the promise of god the royal grant to abraham from the great sea the mediterranean sea all the way over here to the river euphrates well there's the river euphrates right there so this is what the nation of israel should look like if people follow the bible well that's the question are people today gonna follow the bible you gotta wonder you gotta wonder but eventually israel is gonna get all the land back it doesn't matter how much people are going around saying free palestine and get rid israel out and they're the bad guy the bible says that israel wins and they get their land now there will be a time though during the tribulation and i believe that it's in the middle of the tribulation period if you go to revelation chapter 12 where for one thousand two hundred sixty days they have to flee and that's when the antichrist comes in and they have to flee into the mountains they'll probably go to celeb petra and be uh protected there from a giant flood that the antichrist will try to send to kill them so they will lose it for a short time for three and a half years but then when jesus comes back at the battle of armageddon they'll get it back so who does the land belong to according to the bible israel the jews these people and they will get it back but we see the world today just seems to always want to go against the bible and against god and that's what they're doing and you look at a modern map of israel and i drew one up here here's jerusalem here's israel now like like i said all the way over here to the nile river so all this should be israel's land and it should go way over there and way up here but the modern map of israel shows them having a tiny little piece of property and through all this political stuff over the last however many years they've been telling israel you're the colonialist you're the bad guy you're the guy coming in and trying to take over someone else's land and you look at that you go someone's not reading their bible no they're just trying to get back the land that was promised to them by god so if you're saying they don't deserve that land aren't you saying that god is wrong that doesn't sound right so here is called the gaza strip and here's the gaza strip and they said no we believe we study it so the people that are anti-israel are pro-nazi i mean i hate to say it but isn't that who was against israel in world war ii and so we're seeing what did the what were the nazis famous for what did rommel do and all these the pincer movement if you ever study world war ii and you study the nazis and i have the pincer movement is come around on both sides and surround and then destroy i look at the modern map of israel and i'm just like scratching my head because through all the politics and all the the stuff they've done they've tried to say now let's give palestine this and what have they done they literally a pincer movement in order to you know how easy would be if all the arabs one day said no we just we're going to take over jerusalem well they got all this land right here the west bank they just go bloop and then jerusalem belongs to them perfect time for this guy to come in and sit down and say i am god exactly as the bible prophesied he would so we looked at the end of land of israel today a lot of people want to call it the land of palestine i don't use that because that's not in the bible i don't see it called the land of palestine but a lot of people do a lot of people say free palestine what get rid of all those awful jews and i'm like wow is that an echo of of nazis that i hear i mean i'm just asking and uh they say well they're evil because they're colonialists and they're doing wrong and they shouldn't be there and it's like but all throughout history they've been there they lay claimed farther back than anybody else and they have a deed a book a bible the bible is their deed and the bible says no god says the land is for them are you gonna like go against god i mean how does that work in a court of law what if i went to a court of law and i said now this property there belongs to me and i have right here the records for the last four thousand years how this goes all the way back to my great great great great great great great granddaddy that this is my land what judge would say okay well no he'd say well no it seems like you got the evidence this land belongs to you why is the world against israel then could it be that there is a spiritual battle and that is the age old god versus the devil and the devil wants that land so that he can do what the bible says he's going to do go sit down in you see the bible talks about the antichrist and he's a man but if you read the book of revelation chapter 13 he's assassinated and his right eye is withered in his right hand and then he comes back to life and all the world wanders after the beast and his deadly wound was healed and that's the guy that comes and sits and says i am god but who is he i believe he's literally satan incarnate possessing the antichrist and so the devil comes in and sits down on the mercy seat and says i am god and everything we see today anybody who is against the jews and their right to the land is helping the devil to be able to do that and you just got to scratch your head and go man i don't see how anybody could claim to be a christian and then be on the side of those that are against israel now i don't want to take a side my desire is pray for the peace of jerusalem amen and when jesus comes there'll be peace for a thousand years so the best thing i can do is pray for the rapture pray for jesus to come but if you're a jew you need to understand this land is yours but you need to love and be compassionate toward others and that's what most jews i've ever met they say all we want is peace and we try to be nice to people they're not out there starting fights and shooting missiles at people and killing people they're the ones that are getting in their bunkers while missiles are being shot over them and they're just trying to protect the land that they view as the land that belongs to them and it's belonged to them for almost 4 000 years so that's what the bible says about it let's close with isaiah 16 verse five through seven isaiah 16 5 and in mercy shall the throne be established this is when jesus comes who by the way was a jew and he sets up his thousand years of peace and in mercy shall the throne be established and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of david well that would be the temple so there must be a rebuilt temple judging and seeking judgment and hasting righteousness now verse 6 says we have heard of the pride of moab he is very proud the moabites were from this line over here ishmael and esau that's interesting and it says he is very proud even of his hidiness and his pride and his wrath but his lies shall not be so hmm interesting therefore shall moab howl for moab everyone shall howl for the foundations of kir har esseth shall ye mourn surely they are struck in i just find it interesting is if you read the bible you cannot justify someone else taking over the land of israel it just doesn't make sense the bible says over and over and over that that land was given by god to the jews then god came down from heaven in the form of a man as jesus christ jesus is god manifest in the flesh went back up to heaven and he's coming back down in the flesh and he's going to reign in israel for a thousand everything is all about that little place over there and we're seeing that today and a lot of people are ignorant of the bible and what it says and so they're scratching their heads and they're they're asking what's this all about why is every day in the news jerusalem and israel what's this all about and oh quickly they run over to them and they say well the jews are the bad guys because they're the colonials they came in and they stole the land from those poor palestinians and they're bad people and people believe that and you go but isn't that a lie the bible says that the lies shall be brought down and that their lies won't continue that's what it says right here but his lies shall not be so so i tried to tell you the truth today and the bible is truth and if you want the truth the truth is that land belongs to israel the jews the jewish nation and it's theirs and they have been very patient and very nice to let other people live there with them but uh wow look how it's starting to be taken over through diplomacy and through politics and these people they want to get rid of the jews and their agenda is control the whole world because the antichrist he rules the world and he wants to rule the world from jerusalem sitting in a temple that's rebuilt well i don't know what else to tell you except come to jesus for salvation if the bible is true and it is jesus said i am the way the truth and life and no man cometh the father but by me you need jesus as your savior and i hope you come to him i hope you find him because there's no salvation outside of jesus christ according to the bible jesus saves please get him as your savior and please understand this whole conflict and i hope you'll understand what the bible says about it and we should never hate one group or another we should try to come to an understanding and we should try to always follow the bible well god bless we'll see you next time bye
