Eddie Hall, deadlift world record of
500 kilos, when it comes to leverage biomechanics, general massiveness Thor Bjornsson is you man. He played basketball from Iceland as a junior before, just enjoying
the waste food a little too much I think. Now here we go, all on the right closest to the camera and the fastest side of course, Bjornsson who is getting ahead here, taking half a tire flip out
off Hall so far, now can the Brits catch this up? this is so good, oh no way! are you kidding me
going through the gears there's Bjornsson, I thought the low squat away of Eddie Hall might just
pull this back, with not a chance! 29 06 smoking the opposition there Bjornsson, wow! that was a Europe
Strongest Man performance if ever I've seen one. Eddie Hall just a little gutted there.
Hafthor Bjornsson totally amazing start. How did it feel to you? it's not a beauty
contest, It's a strong man! I don't care I'm sick, paralysed but I'm pleased I'm
here to make a great show for you guys, thank you! What a line! Konstantine Janashia Eddie, The Beast Hall always surrounded by fans. Straps on, you are allowed straps
in strongman. reps to beat seven Mark Felix. And Janashia who's surprisingly lifting quicker here. But when Hall starts to
lift, watch how quick he pulls. Very quick indeed. And Janashia slower at the top. That is power right there from Eddie
Hall, who's of course done five hundred kilos. This is a percent of his personal best, it's a lot smaller than anyone else as he's equal Felix thirty Seconds to go, there's eight. How many more?
He has Hollands and Bjornsson still to come. Janashia takes a break. I am sure he is
watching the Beast pull another one, there's 9 reps at 362 and a half. Gosh, can he do a double figures? You don't see the Beast fail a rep often
but that took it out of him, that was hard, hard work. Janashia: six reps very
impressive still, just behind Felix. But this man, Eddie Hall had to work for
that ten, ten and eight hundred pounds. Eddie, ten repetitions this was a do or die
situation for you, ten reps is that beatable or is that the win? that's the win. that's the win.
Eddie you look like you're suffering from the pace of the event as so many of these athletes are,
how much more of you left in the tank? oh well not much but all the athletes are the same and
we're all dropping like flies behind the scenes, but uh they're two more events to go, I'm going
for it, baby go for it. Ladies and gentlemen, Eddie the Beast Hall He is looking in pretty good shape Eddie Hall there, he caught his breath back pretty quickly. The final pairing, Hafthor Bjornsson who leads the competition Terry Hollands who has definitely found his mojo again. Look at this, what
a scene! The sea of people! Two of the most powerful men on the planet, Bjornsson on the Left, Holland's
on the right to look short at six for six. Surely neither of these two men so tall get anywhere near 10 reps. That's a ludicrous
amount of weight to shift in a minute. Though Bjornsson is very fit and looking strong, six reps.
One more for Bjornsson to equal Felix, that would be key to keeping close to Hall's points. He's done it. Second equal. The Icelanders
behind him shout stop. Quite right. Holland's now on four yes! well done Terry Hollands.
A grinder and deserved it. A cramp for Terry, he might be getting
slimer but he's always cramped a lot in these one-day shows. Bjornsson second place on his
own. Outright, not sharing the points with Felix and most impressive two such tall, tall men wow! Now Hafthor Bjornsson against Eddie Hall, it all
comes down to this. Whoever wins the stones is Europe Strongest Man. Two very different characters in
many, many ways. Both, all they want is this title more than anything else in the world right now. The
Beast against the Mountain and it's neck and neck on the first, the Mountain one motions the second
but the Beast does two and the third. It's so tight! The mountain is quicker on the fourth Hall tries
to throw it and Bjornsson does it!! Five stones in seventeen and a half seconds, that is extraordinary!!
Eddie Hall looks slow in 23 seconds which is the second fastest time and the even had time to sigh,
and Hall brilliantly sporting there, I have to say and Eddie Hall is doing well was showing any disappointment
but he has to. But how about the winner, a third title. He is a very impressive man How does this sound? It sounds amazing, you guys so I want the whole,
I would like to thank each and everyone for the support and I would also like to congratulate
all the other competitors, big hands for Eddie Hall for being a Beast and boosting me through
the limits, he is fantastic! Eddie Hall, that's right What a shout out, what a great man. Hafthor,
one question, I want to know can you win World Strongest Man this year? how certain are you? I've
been five years in a row on the podium, and I've never been more dedicated as I am today.
You know I am very happy, Thank you guys. Thank you. Eddie Hall in Zambia we saw you smash your hand
and most guys would quit, go to the hospital you just went to the next event, you didn't do so
well but you fought, and took third place at World's Strongest Man and we knew you were
disappointed even at that performance. How much preparation have you put in and getting
ready for Worlds? Well World Strongest Man is my target, obviously I wanted to win today,
so shame it I didn't win today. Well done to Thor, fantastic athlete, you know he's got some
health issues going on along with myself so we've both had a tough week to
pull this off today and come first and second, is fantastic. Eddie Hall first, second, third
at Worlds doesn't matter. You are a champion! everybody loves you. Congratulations
for a fantastic performance!. Thank you very much. And you also. Well done Eddie Hall! Even bigger well done, the biggest man of all, three times Europe's strongest man, the Mighty Thor.
