hey what's up everybody hungry huh see here today today is all about a little bit of breakfast or brunch or dinner breakfast lunch dinner eating breakfast lunch dinner anywho what this is going to be is a breakfast bowl okay you're gonna say huh see what is a breakfast bowl I say to you we're gonna have a hash brown casserole on the bottom we're gonna make a little gravy go over that we'll have some cheese we'll have some bacon and then we're gonna have a fried egg on top boy oh these are good groceries [Music] alright folks our ingredients are here's our this is our breakfast casserole it's got shredded potatoes cheese cream of chicken got some onions got some Mike Lowrey seasoning salt pepper and sour cream I will have down below in the description be the recipe for this just mix it all together ok I got probably 1/2 pound of bacon that we're going to cook and we're gonna chop up I got some red onion some red pepper and a little bit of mushrooms I got a couple kinds of cheeses here this is a couple this is a cheddar or like a white cheddar and then a yellow cheddar and then I got some like a Mexican kind of cheese flour just to make a roux for our gravy I've got some milk got 2 cups of milk here and I got the eggs okay well salt a little pepper back there alright that's it y'all this is the ingredients so let's get it on that black stone right here alrighty folks hey there you go that's the ingredients now let's get everything on the black stone let's get going all right hmm get a little hot getting a little high we're gonna put our bacon down first okay go get this bacon down it's just some actually get this bacon we have a place called Lidl is kind of like all these pretty good place really liked our bacon it's good stuff all right bacon down making down we're gonna let that render okay gonna let the we're gonna let that bake and render down and we're gonna use that bacon grease from make our gravy I put our peppers and onions and mushrooms so right there it's gonna be beautiful it's gonna be beautiful all right now right here we're going to take a little bit of oil okay and I got these two molds these are the black stone molds and we're going to take some of this breakfast casserole we're just gonna plop it down right there okay this is gonna be our base it's gonna be our base for our breakfast bowl okay over there let's go off Pat it down make it nice I want to make it nice and nice and thick okay so that's gonna be on top we're gonna put that gravy on it and then we're gonna put the peppers and onions and all that kind of good stuff on top all right bacon how are you bacon bacon good Bacon's good so we're just going to let this cook a little bit we're gonna come back in about two or three minutes we're going to try to get this this hash brown casserole material kind of get it nice and crispy on one side and we'll all flip it I'll check right back okay all right hey welcome back it's been a couple minutes let's flip our bacon over okay it's not quite there check on our vegetables a vegetable there pretty good let's see where we're at with this I don't really need these anymore those are nice nice units right there I'm gonna let this go a little bit longer add a little salt and pepper to our vegetable mix okay season that up this here and there all right we're gonna let these hash brown casserole we're gonna let that get happy on that other side bacon coming on pretty well let's see how much fat oh yeah we might have enough fat here to make our gravy and y'all so you won't see those little bits right there you want those bits you want that in your gravy okay telling you people will love you for that I'm talking about like love you love you all right take a little bit of those bits up I'll leave these alright they get this so I don't burn my hand want to put this right here holes I'll show you all how to make a little gravy all right look white gravy white gravy so some bacon grease making three yeah my have enough there we go little gravy it's all gravy scoop it all out scoop it all out okay now that should be plenty make what we need it for now what you want to do is a little bit of flour a little bit of flour okay oh yeah nice and hot want to make a roux okay and then there we go kind of you don't want it to be you don't want it to be really cut this burner won't cut this burner right here off actually you don't want cooking really hot you don't want to cook a real low if that makes any sense to you this is probably you know like a medium heat to medium low heat okay I just want to keep working it and I'm gonna add a little bit more flour the objective here guys is to cook the flour you don't want to just do raw flour because of how the flour taste to it so the roux is cooking a flower out of it and then we'll well of course add some milk to it okay so we're gonna let that go to this a little bit and then we'll add some milk to it so the rule of thumb is like a tablespoon of fat which is bacon grease here lard whatever a tablespoon of of that tablespoon of flour so equal parts and that equals to about a cup per tablespoon of milk okay you know you may need to add more the main anything adolescence a rule of thumb so we'll cut this back on and then a good way though well that's hot I'm burnt my finger good way to just taste it no flour taste little milk let me come in from the other side with this milk so you see it all right so you swallow you want to slowly whisk that in okay want to slowly whisk that in [Music] I'll let that get incorporated a little more little with Hickey here it comes in handy it's gonna be a good gravy okay all right gravy is looking good okay mmm good old milk gravy gravy nice salt okay revenue pepper all right a bacon over here looking good let's look at her I'll put this over here let's look and see what our hash brown casserole is looking like looking good just looking real good I love it love it love it my bacon is almost done y'all and then don't hesitate to do a little bit of this action right there okay I'm bacon grease okay Mike over here Mike over here let's add a little bit more milk just a little bit and that right there I wanna call it a day right there that's good that's good that's good all right we're gonna set that back there gravy's done okay now bacon is good for me I like my bacon you know a little floppy I've said that before okay I forgot something I'll be right back all right so I kind of I need to go get a spoon for the gravy and also just my little pot holder handle just in case just in case you never know so our gravy let's make sure this ain't hot it's tightening up nicely and again you might you might have to add a little bit more milk to that just just refer to consistency okay however you want so our hash brown casserole is looking too let's get this bacon off I'm gonna chop it up okay I'll tell you what I'm gonna do to want to cover these hashbrowns we'll cover it with this dome for a little bit just uh just to try to give it a give it a little bit more of a like I love an effect so it's kind of thick okay so we're going to take and chop up a bacon this kind of lay them on top of one another and then just run through well I mean kind of big pieces and for me I like my bacon a little flimsy okay there you go little bacon mmm you do this with sausage and do a sausage and bacon country ham no matter just put some kind of put some kind of pig on there okay okay all right our vegetables are nice all righty I think let's get ready we're gonna build our breakfast bowl okay for demonstration purposes I want to use this little lovely right here okay all right so we're ready to build this breakfast bowl I'm going to use my like a little lodge serving dish here you can use it however you can make little individual bowls however you want to do it don't really matter to me how you do it but uh so we're going to do hashbrowns first okay hash browns alright and we're gonna take a little bit of this gravy oh you know what L need to do I need to take some of that hash browns off of there stay right there take some of this gravy take some of this gravy okay and then we're just going on spooning that gravy right on top of that right there I mean like right on top okay oh boy I like a little gravy okay and we're gonna take our vegetables okay good muscles and we're gonna take some of our bacon all right I'll take some bacon just like that then we're gonna take some of our cheese and we're just gonna put it on there just like that okay and then we got a little Friday here okay and this is what we're gonna do just like that okay now what you don't want to do is you want to season just egg just a little bit okay little pepper a little pepper okay what's looking good that is looking good forgot some business forgot some visit the Bulls their eggs not quite there you'll know it you'll know it when it's ready it'll tell you it'll be like I see I'm ready flip me it's just not there it's just not there but what there is is a little bit of a huh okay you got that it's ready now okay just flip it flip it okay I'm gonna put it right there right there okay y'all and it's pretty much done now sweet little egg hello beautiful Oh beautiful how about a little bit more bacon right there just like that thank you for your service mr. black stone that's the it right there that is our breakfast bowl boom [Music] hey that's it y'all that is our breakfast bowl now let's cut into this thing what I want to do first is oh oh my goodness I wanted a little bit of that but also I want to put a little bit of sriracha this isn't the the hooey falling bran but this is the Texas Pete brand right here in North Carolina winston-salem actually like this better than the hooey falling that's not because I'm from North Carolina just cause I like it okay a little bit hot sauce on there okay now I only got a perfect bite I want a perfect bite it's still hot geez Louise oh good lord the morning across on a hash brown I get a nice crunch smokiness from the bacon creaminess from the cheese and the eggs lord have mercy I tell you what that sure was worth it to come out here on his back porch and shoot this call this hot out here hotter than - dang rabbits and a wool sock and let me tell you but this right here is on point good night mmm hot gravy a good old flat gravy mouthing my mama pan this right here is legit if you're doing breakfast you need to do your breakfast bowl y'all hey folks hey that's it for today I appreciate each
