The banned Pokemon game where you survive nuclear radiation poisoning

you ever lie down turn on your game boy under the covers and just realize that your pokemon game didn't have enough nuclear radiation death and anthropomorphic garlic well look no further i present to you the story and gameplay of the fan made pokemon uranium [Music] we begin our story with an absolutely regular ordinary day at the nuclear power plant where our mom lucille and her friend cameron work there must be a bridge in the reactor at this temperature in just a few minutes we'll have a total meltdown everyone needs to evacuate now lucille you have to leave too oh no lucille no lucille and that's where our protagonist story begins just like any pokemon game we go through our early life crisis and decide it's time to leave the house at the ripe old age of 12 to collect badges from strangers across the region but more importantly we need to find out what really happened that day at the power plant on our way to the pokemon laboratory to get our starter we come across our rival and best friend theo who we then make fun of and the professor does too hey if it isn't grill oh and your friend tommy was it oh he didn't have to do theo like that man honestly pops you can't even remember my name it's theo dale we pick our starter rap torch who is probably a kangaroo honestly not surprised about any new pokemon in this game ever since they announced aplin in gen8 yeah that's that's a dragon type apple the bar's really low i asked twitch chat who we should name it after and everyone kept mentioning this guy named me i couldn't find them in chat but if you're seeing this hope you're happy we proceeded to then well dumpster our rival and head to the first gym on the way we caught a burb and named it doodle don't they look alike and with the first route out of the way we made it to our first town kevlar town there was a lot that went on here that's mari you always crying to people to get them to do something to him or for him it was why he doesn't have any friends well i don't have any friends and that's for a different reason so oh that's morgan oh yo help this man that's so sad he's literally crying into bushes off to the side and you're like yeah that's mori classic right classic guy crying in the bushes because he doesn't have any friends so that's why it's called twitch's pc wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait what wait did i just miss a twitch chat joke is that your pc how well did you guys do the pc not bad not i know twitch was which were pretty good programmers you guys did well you guys did pretty well for the first time in your lives aside from that not much else except to keep forging on in the first cave we got a wild growzart which is basically a cut off charizard tail that someone just stuck in the ground embodying our inner 2010 call of duty gamer tag we dubbed it x ding ding x upon making it to the first gym we encounter this guy oh are you maybe perhaps here to see maria oh my you must be like me i'm her biggest fan oh but she's hardly ever at the gym probably find her at home i can't go there because of reasons yeah dude you should probably you should there's like let me tell you one thing you might not have heard about it personal space personal space but you still can't here take this [Music] this dude just had her key keep it i made copies her house is in the southeast part of town bro 9-1-1 this man right here despite that we trashed marie took her money in badge and left for the second gym theo battled us on the way out but we rolled him so hard it's honestly not even worth showing he cried about it after two nice we breezed through the next couple routes and found ourselves in the next town parole met a guy with a totally real job i'm the local town greeter yes it's a real job and faced off against davern where this happened flamewheel it hopefully we can get like a critical hit for a one hit ko nice so if we use um air cutter here we're probably good let's go with the doodle difference we defeated davern collected his badge and walked out of the cave more accomplished than any 12 year old i know most i ever got was a participation sticker in basketball in p.e on our way to the third gym maybe this leader will have some answers on what happened that fateful day the cave around this route is known for being dangerous with cave-ins and rabid pokemon so theo decides to team up with us in order to make it through a couple tremors and a ton of battles later the thing he feared most finally happened that tremor was nothing we finally made it to the end w theo did he just ditch us i kid you not we could be dying can't go back theo what the hell what is that thing i want it all right air cutter it jesus okay we'll catch it we'll catch it uh we can use dust ball here oh oh that was so close then we'll use our pokeball here i think i will take the great ball while he's sleeping two let's go let's go what do we name them oh x x x x x x x x x oh okay that that man was just like uh sign of danger bye this man's actually left us for dead in our blind rage over the betrayal of our cowardly friend we accidentally caught a bastion named a cupcake and ended up in the next town rock fail at the local laboratory in town we met professor cyprus and were immediately tasked with finding out who broke into the lab and stole all the pokemon but they neglected to steal the most valuable thing that they were developing which is relatively strange the pokemon speech translator who could have done it already let's use the pst on outton to find out more about the thief [Music] what you can't just introduce this this absolutely out of nowhere after conversing with many of the pokemon on the next route our incredibly effective detective skills led us to this cave yes that's right the legendary anthropomorphic garlic pokemon hero garlic kid was attempting to liberate his friends from the research team because he was afraid the scientists were hurting them is there like a pokemon uprising are they becoming self-aware [Music] what hero garlic kid would like to battle wait garlic kid's a human what dude i have no idea what is happening we quickly dispose of his team and uh leave beginning of the game we learned that we used to live in beale beach with our mom researcher at the nuclear plant and our dad head of the pokemon rangers in the region after lucille died callan neglected us and gave us up to our aunt to be raised 10 years later we might finally have the chance to see him but before that who needs year-long therapy and counseling when you have a casino oh pokemon gym here it makes sense that you would come to beale beach still i always wanted to give you a special tour of the ranger hq the bigger ranger station of all west tander and as you know i'm the chief it's a job with lots of responsibilities so you stand understand i've been busy too busy to visit you in milky town for 10 years for 10 years starting her up chief but there's a letter for you a letter hmm from cameron at the new nuclear power plant real i know that's a sudden i have a favor to ask of you i need to go to the power plant epsilon and deliver my response to cameron it's important to proceed with caution lucille your mother disappeared on that very island 10 years back the point that we never forget that here grill please take this yo something's going down tonight boys yes that's right after not seeing her dad kellen for most of our life he sends us to go check out what's happening at the local nuclear power plant you know the same grid where our mom melted down with the rest of the facility a short cruise later and we meet theo and his father cameron at power plant epsilon cameron tells us that we can see the inside of the building if we need closure about our mom's passing he warns us though that there's something strange with the wild pokemon recently and that he would meet us there and he was right [Applause] oh what is that that thought that doesn't seem very healthy that does not seem very healthy at all it kind of seems a little radioactive if you kind of ask me um i don't want to be near that thing at all jesus um yeah can we leave ah okay there it is the old power plant i can't tell you how many times i've searched this place trying to find something anything to explain what happened all those years ago of course it's no good almost everything was destroyed in the explosion what wasn't destroyed was mostly burned up by fire afterwards the building is crumbling it's slated for demolition soon maybe the last chance we have to uncover what really happened although i doubt there's anything left to find inside the plant you find some old slips of paper indicating an experiment conducted here went wrong and then we stumble across a giant stasis tank could this be something that's connected to our mother's death being the 12 year old we are this can only seem like an opportunity so we fiddle around with the device stasis tank active the spence's timer uh oh execute restoration process let's play a game what could go wrong one nothing happens classic two our dad finally loves us again or three the stasis chamber throws an error back harder than the post coded house party we're thrown into the basement locked with an irradiated pokemon than faint because the radiation mixes feel woozy wish it was number two but looks like you got it right gold star for participation error instability detected error error error what is a grill use the pst kill the intruder crush destroy kill jesus come on cupcake come on cupcake radiation makes me feel woozy oh now wow it's a struggle to keep your eyes open we wake up after being saved by cameron and his team then make our way to the casino to forget what just happened with a crippling gambling addiction the game lagged what in fact we were winning so much at the casino that we decided to start winning the game again and beat the third gym leader the second time around all right here we go [Music] actually the third time around all right we'll just air cutter do you see that pixel that pixel but it didn't matter because we got a super effective critical hit and we won against the third gym leader rematch you're sure strong here take this tied badge just wanted to give him a little ego boost before we beat him we then head southbound out of beale beach to the fourth gym however oh god grill there's been an emergency look over there over the ocean is that the nuclear power plant they just built there's been another explosion at the nuclear power plant after 10 years again i can't believe it i have to go to the island immediately people are in danger this time i'm going to make a difference for you lucille and everyone else grill you need to get out of here this area is dangerous waves the radiation will be hitting the shore any minute now here i want you to have this to the west there's a ferry it'll take you across the lake to safety i don't know much about pokemon training i think there's a gym there too i can't talk anymore longer i need to go be safe harboring our safety in fear of the possible death of theo's dad cameron a local pokemon ranger teams up with us to help us make it to the fairy in the west little did he know what was about to happen stop following me what was that holy [ __ ] i'm out of here dude dude you're just gonna leave us okay we need this gyarados oh my god look at this thing they just use like rainy did use nuclear waste on me radio acid we need this thing i want this i want i i need this thing ding ding come on tandoor's american south we settle down in the wheat fields and chapel talking to the locals a classic calm experience we've seen two nuclear meltdowns so far in this playthrough so glad the game could take a calmer pace and cruise to that beginning segment of gym battles and routes that's when we go to the steel type gym and sweep through later sheldon's team he proceeds to give us the pixel badge what a nerd time for us to go on to the fifth gym on the way out of town though we encounter a crying again theo i'm not just a kid why would everyone stop treating me like one how am i supposed to keep fighting after dad i miss you where did you go oh oh i forgot theo's dad turned into the thermal paste dad you told me to be strong so then why haven't you called me where are you dad he's just getting milk like my dad was for 10 years did you hear that sounds like an earthquake or no it couldn't be i hear sirens what's what's happening uh there's no way it could be another meltdown right pepe meltdown guys you kids there's been an emergency we need to evacuate the entire town let's go star raptor thereafter is my partner pokemon swift and strong fire so it can carry both you to legend town where it's safe now get on quick what's going on i can't explain now just go [Music] no way can't be another nuclear meltdown did i not tell you about the north nuclear power plant oh you're safe think arceus follow me we're in the middle of a crisis the likes of which tandoor has never seen nuclear power plant zeta has suffered a meltdown as we speak a cloud of radioactive radioactive fallout is spreading across route 8 in vanovel his radiation is harmful to all life we rangers are currently evacuating everyone to safety and to all of you in this room who are pokemon traders we don't usually ask for help from civilians but as you can see we're the midst of a crisis anyone has strong pokemon that can help us battle the nuclear pokemon route 11 to the north please certain types of pokemon like steel types are more effective once again us a 12 year old grill with only four badges is called upon to help deal with the rampaging nuclear pokemon coming in from the north our overpowered team up with our dad kellen a nice father-daughter bonding experience over saving the town from a hoard of deadly fallout animals provides successful as we take down all of the gamma gremlins now thank you enough for your help out there grill not be able to pull through the last minute we all live in serious trouble i'm so glad seeing you about with your pokemon fighting alongside you maybe you wish i'd gotten to know you a little bit better before yeah thank thanks for that keep as far as the size you can we have four gym badges right we're gonna show you the next badge is almond tree town to go through the bagel it's like bagel bagel rainforge to get there but based on how you handle this pokemon today i'm sure you can take care of yourself in amatry city though something strange has happened the gym leader hasn't returned since he went into the local forest to train and no this isn't some casual tall grass scenario he's an ant hell an arthropod breeding ground with larger than life insects ready to make their next meal we brave the cave and free the gym leader tico from the confines of his web defeating the biggest ant in ant hell and proving once and for all that i'll get my revenge for losing a breath of the wild bingo in minecraft races and uh sorry um i meant uh we saved tico then promptly left the cave it doesn't matter too much on how well we did versus the gym leader considering he just got saved from a bunch of little insects from a 12 year old but we absolutely demolished his team pocketed his money and the gym badge five gyms done three to go and still no idea why nuclear explosions are happening across the region will our dad ever love us stay tuned we're about to find out we dunk on theo once again trying to leave amatry city only to leave him once again broken-hearted on the way to his next fight you have to start feeling bad for this guy living in the shadow of a much better attractive smart intelligent and most of all humble trainer and no idea if his dad cameron survived the most recent nuclear meltdowns the next segment of her journey is unexpected however as we encounter trouble on the high seas hayah who goes there you're on our turf now trash masters beware surfing ninja is gonna take you down what ninja surfers ronin and junin would like to battle i and they're they send out finai which are like kunai uh you know i i um there's two things all right that would go with when things happen right first off there's one there's the option where we question it then there's the option where we just go with it and we just we spend as little brain power as possible trying to dissect what just happened the last five seconds so we'll just continue on did we just did that just happen let's take that handy advice and just accept that the two ninja surfers absolutely bodied our team and we'll we'll continue on we meet the other two members of the surfer ninja clan genning and chunning and promptly send them running to get their boss turns out fun fact the boss is named hokage and we dared to surf on his turf are we part of naruto now is is this like oh kage so this gaijin trespasser who dares surf on our turf so you are a strong pokemon trainer but now you're weak and tired by pokemon are strong speedy stealthy we rule these part of the seeds for the honor of my clan we punish you so is the hidden hidden village in the surf is that what this is completing this part was much much harder than it looked since we were drastically under leveled and it's generally difficult taking down the leader of the hidden leaf village alright please don't have another pokemon i swear to god i swear if you have another pokemon okay all right there we go we won let's go no it cannot place in italy somehow we ended up in france though as we say hi to remy from ratatouille and quickly stuff him into a ball it's at this time when we decide to take on the sixth gym we make quick work of all the trainers and surprisingly beat gym leader iago with ease but something was a little off about this gym leader you've surely seen through the roots by now yes it's true i'm not the true gym leader that you see but were you expecting this let's go let's go spectacularly done you deserve the drama badge a prompt defeat soon after we surfed across the water to the north like the hokage we became and washed up at silver port city like rock fail this former fishing village housed a research facility like the brave independent 12 year old we were now leader of the ninja surfers conqueror of six adult pokemon trainers and survivor of two nuclear power plant meltdowns we decided to check it out hey what kind of what's a kid like you doing in this lab oh i see i see you're a pokemon trainer doing research for some professor i imagine tell me who is it that you're working for bamboo is it oh that earnest i never would have thought he'd cut it as an academic but this world is just full of surprises you know he and i went to the same university once until someone spread a false rumor that was plagiarizing work me a genius like myself plays plagiarizing the work of someone else police force between regions however before he could find anything the projects were hidden in secret to be worked on out of sight we then escape our cell with garlic kid and defeat the evil scientist who is keeping us there garlic kid joins our team and we name them appropriately we just really take the scientific approach and name him after what he really is like tanjiro and demon slayer we make our way up the mountain sorry uh i don't know what came over me there never heard of this annie may that you speak of just blacked out for a second anywho we climb the mountain to snowbank town where we meet up with theo to face off against the seventh gym leader rumor has it we'll unlock the powers of mega evolution an upgrade to fan favorite pokemon and only fan favorite pokemon nintendo why did you make the gimmick half-baked why we demolished leader varan in a two-on-two battle only for the senile man to tell us to battle each other however after being carried by theo in that fight and us being extremely under leveled could we pull it off let's do this grill i will attack you with all my using the power of mega evolution you better be prepared oh so we're actually fighting theo right now oh okay oh nothing hunter pump yeah we're dead all right it didn't matter anyways [Music] i did it i beat grill oh you fought really well too i can't believe it i won i don't know whatever you couple things about the inner workings of this place keep in mind we're the newly pronounced hokage tsukinami is the home to two ninja clans tsuki and nami aka the ninja surfers and the pirates they used to be at war for years until coming to an agreement and creating a hidden village together we meet up after talking to the fellow ninja across the land with their ninjutsu and face off against the two leaders nata and kaito we secure our victory over hinata then swiftly conquer naruto i'm i'm i mean kaito we we swiftly conquer kaito everything's peachy after that we received our last gym badge now on to the elite four we're on top of the world things are going well the sun is shining the flowers are blooming it's happening what's going on is the village under attack i'm scared please remain calm there's been a potential threat for your safety we are activating everybody to a safe health for the little sins of tsukiyami please come with me now wait just a second what is this about a threat i'm not going anywhere until i know what's going on we have a reason to believe that there will be student attack on the nuclear power plant this uh to the east similar to the attacks in west tandoor now if you were coming with me what why would someone attack a power plant yeah and how do you know a lot about this ahead of time someone something smells mighty fishy to me enough cease your chatter at once the sacred leaders themselves this must be very serious listen to the rangers you must follow them to the safe house immediately i want your majesty we promptly clear the area of the radioactive pokemon and head to the entrance of power plant omnicron to see what's happening wow grill think arceus you're here these nuclear pokemon relentless whatever it takes we have to keep them from getting inside oh that's strange they've stopped attacking i've never seen them act like this before got a bad feeling about this what was that something inside the plant but how i don't like this uh uh guys we gotta we gotta go bro get down what it's gone the uranium is gone where is it you stop right where you are as chief of the tandoor rangers i order you to freeze identify yourself or we'll attack we are curie we are urane stand aside or face oblivion you're the one who's been attacking the power plants you're under arrest urane use half-life on humans she has radiation poisoning we have to get her out of here we require more enriched uranium fuel our power far exceeds any that will oppose us we will crush them without mercy you've destroyed the environment and endangered the lives of people in pokemon you won't get away with this i'll take you down by myself if i have to dad dad no how amusing it isn't even a trainer and yet it would oppose us such arrogance urane atomic something like this that might happen when we brought him in we found these documents on the inside of his jacket he seems to be on gathering information on kyrie in your reign for quite some time and illegal experiments on pokemon in the process of my undercover investigation i was discovered and the criminal covered their tracks and fled after my failure interpol released me into an early i don't even know and so grill and theo returned to ranger hq when they arrived they were greeted as heroes and the word spread throughout tandoor about grill's victory over curie grill i'm so glad to see you please come with me while you were on your way here cameron woke up from his coma i've already debriefed him about how you faced curing battle in one to think someone else could overcome kyrie's power when even i could not i'm truly speechless you've done an incredible thing grill you fulfilled my mission you protected all of tandoor in my stead i woke up fearing the worst but instead received the wonderful news now i can be reunited with my son i'm so happy unfortunately we didn't manage to complete all the mission curie managed to escape our craft for performing a total region sweep they can't evade us for long we can't rest completely kiri is brought to justice it's powered down to its alpha form a form is far less dangerous it's not highly radioactive and it can't command other nuclear pokemon like its stronger beta form can as long as security fury can't get their hands on more enriched uranium it will remain in that weaker form indefinitely for safety's sake all nuclear fuel rods have been removed from the region if kyrie wants to get their hands on fuel they're gonna have to leave tandoor we'll catch them before that happens what theo went through at the
