all right i've been away for a bit your boy had bronchitis or or has bronchitis insert the i got bronchitis meme i got bronchitis still a little bit unsure but my voice has returned back today so so today we're back with some old news that could be some new news if you haven't really been paying attention this week [Music] so we haven't covered the ace family in a hot minute so what brought us back well apparently they're now teaching people how to become millionaires on a paid subscription model because paid subscription models really worked well for them the first time if you didn't know about half a year ago they released this digital product called the ace club where essentially they charge people 20 a month for exclusive content and the chance to win these following products check out what you can win win ten thousand dollars cash fully paid vacation for a family of five get a brand new car win a house monthly bills fully paid for college tuition completely paid for your fertility treatment paid for that's an interesting giveaway get yourself a brand new smile we pay off your debt win or ace family jeep imagine if someone from melvin capital one that will pay off your debt that would be quite funny but uh they didn't announce any winners because the the project um it just vanished apparently it was so much of a disaster that austin himself literally admitted that it was kind of a scam did they explain how they were gonna pick the winners because like what if you want a fertility treatment and you're just a like a guy yeah i have no idea good point honestly i mean like what if like a 12 year old boy wins a free fertility treatment like what you guys have asked what has happened with the ace club we were doing exclusive comments with the ace club um and unfortunately the people that we partnered with in that adventure um they end up i don't really like to talk negatively but they just weren't good partners um they end up unfortunately scamming us um and it kind of like hurt us in a way because in reality like you guys got scammed um so in reality you guys got stamped but don't worry we have a brand new subscription model here right for you i think this is proof the only people that watch them are kids or people who don't have english as their first language because hopefully a normal adult won't buy a new subscription from them after getting scammed the first time i can already see the comments that are gonna say oh what if english isn't your first language you're not normal no because hopefully a normal adult who understands english wouldn't sign up for another subscription model after being scammed the first time they did it that gave me an idea if you guys are interested and this video gets uh 20 000 likes we'll sign up for the ace family how to be a millionaire course and we'll see if i become a millionaire from it like the way the site was built it wasn't built to the degree that we needed to be because obviously the ace family is one strong army and come to find out the site wasn't built well at all so you guys didn't get the value in the quality you guys should have got and that's why we were upset and unfortunately we had to stop the the ace club and which we refunded everybody so we appreciate all you guys for understanding that we had to stop that okay credits them they at least claim that they refunded everyone and so the ace club we put a stop to it that was like six months ago or something like that and we end up having to find a new partner which create us a new site um and he's been working on it for the past three or four months and just recently got done with it um and so me and catherine had the conversation of yo do we continue doing the ace club or like what do we do with with the new site that we have because the new partner that we we found and we were it's been a blessing since we found him he's literally like i can probably say he's literally the best website developer i've ever came across and it's really hard to come across good hard-working dudes like him okay so the last guy scammed you guys why wouldn't you just get a new developer and just recreate the ace club path and i had the conversation of what do we do you know do we go back to doing the ace club but then it was just we were in a tough situation because it was hard for us at the time to create more content than we're doing outside of youtube and to give you guys like extra content so we're like you know what let's not try to go into this thing again because we're just not ready for it because we have so many other things going on ah so there it came like come on austin don't hang out your old developer to drive by himself like if you guys didn't have time to film micro content for this subscription platform it would have ended inevitably and if you guys don't have the extra time why are you guys selling a get rich quick course or a make the ace family richer course funded by a bunch of gullible kids and teenagers pro tip buy books about the thing you want to learn for like 10 to 20 bucks rather than spending 50 bucks a month on something you're not even sure you're actually gonna have use for but how i became a millionaire is the name of this program by the ace family it's their new online learning program that claims to teach users how to become a millionaire social media influencer like austin mcgrew himself if this dude doesn't have time to upload micro content on a subscription based model like how would he ever have time to teach you how to become a millionaire it just doesn't add up and it sounds a lot like a cash grab to me but let's see the trailer here this is where it all started now this is my home my dream home and i've been very blessed and fortunate to have done it through the power of social media here in my garage which is why i'm here today to teach all of you the secrets to social media and to help you accomplish your dreams in this program i'll be teaching four courses the first course is how to grow your social media platforms the second course is how to make money from social media the third course is how to start a business and the last course is how to grow your business in order to be able to have access to all these courses you must join now you only have 24 hours am i watching an ace family video or a tai lopez video so there's like a lot of things going on here but first of all this is a very cheesy cash grab by this man but there's some clear manipulation tactics that he's using in this video which i feel like are very intentional first of all he shows that where i'm started because that's his attempt of trying to be relatable to you guys because he wants to show look just because i could make it from a normal looking apartment to um an eight-figure hollywood mansion that means you can do it as well with my coaching did you really do that in five years you said yeah their success is like there there's not a lot of people that have achieved what the ace family has achieved i just don't know it was just like that though oh yeah yours is pretty short to go blew up on youtube like pretty much no other creator like ever you make me want to sign up to the course you use social media to achieve all of this which is true but essentially he's just selling this fantasy that he can coach you to become a millionaire that he actually is holding on to the secret to make you a millionaire and he's using this uh fomo marketing of you only have 24 hours or else i guess you're never gonna hear the secret advice to become a millionaire and then you have the price of fifty dollars a month to hear what he's gonna say when you have really good business audio books that cost five dollars to twenty dollars and then business audio books normally have you know seven to twenty hours of content i'm really interested in seeing how much content this guy actually has because he said he'd split up into four parts i don't know how many hours of content that is going to be so it will be interesting to see what they actually provide on that platform you like go ahead say whatever you want to say um people will say you know i can't afford it um that's why i'd love to see it in another way or whatever the case is but i feel like you i've seen you how hard you've been working i see you know like the pages and pages and pages of notes and just your strategy with this and like i i genuinely feel like everything you're doing is for from the heart and i feel like you really do want to help people you've said this since day one back when we started youtube you were like why isn't there like a manual like why isn't there someone talking about all this stuff like why do we have to learn this on our own by accident like why is this happening to us and i feel like this now you doing this you don't have to you didn't have to do this that's what's crazy it's not about the money it's not about the memberships it's not it's about you truly like wanting to do this why is the course 50 a month then this doesn't make sense whatsoever it's not about the money but it's 50 a month oh my goodness all right let's check out the site though hibm how i became a millionaire the program will open back up in 50 days okay so it looks like that video will be a little postponed boys how i became a millionaire the secret to social media courses how to grow your social media platforms how to make money from social media how to start a business how to grow your business okay and then they have a one week free trial they have silver membership which has a basic curriculum 48 videos a year one video every week and you have the gold membership where he is promising longer videos exclusive private community chat bring in other celebrities creators to hear from go on live with everyone pick a few people for weekly facetime calls pick a few people to promote per month pick a few people to verify blue check all right so you're you're promising away verifying people for 50 bucks a month my dude okay everything about this is screaming cash grab to me so what what is it like 48 videos a year essentially but you have to pay 50 a month for that so you're going to be paying 600 for 48 videos and you have no idea what these 48 videos actually entail at that point buy 30 great business books i really can't see the value here it would be quite interesting to see if he actually follows through this program and keeps this program running for a full year because we know what happened to their last subscription model this just reminds you like half the people i see on clubhouse i feel like half the people on clubhouse are like trying to sell a get rich quick course or how to become a millionaire real quick but the austin mcbroom how i became a millionaire course what do you guys think guys do you think it's a cash grab or do you think it's a legitimate course filled with a whole lot of valuable information i'm not saying there's not going to be any valuable information in there i'm just saying i think that's heavily overpriced for what you actually get so in these courses is the information in video format or is it really okay that sounds so lazy but like realistically i'd rather sit and watch someone tell me what to do than read a book no but so that's why i love you know audiobooks oh true true show okay uh is your audible sponsor i feel like since he's talking about youtubers and how to become a social media influencer and all of that stuff i might as well end the video giving you guys some some solid uh advice to youtube i guess what i've noticed on youtube one of the most important metrics to look at is your click-through rate and your watch time those are like the two most important metrics from what i can tell also the rate of how much you upload and how consistent you upload also matters a lot and the videos you upload also have to apply for the same audience so for example if i uploaded a um video of me doing ballet that's probably not going to get a lot of views in comparison to me uploading a normal commentary video actually honestly i would love a video of you doing ballet that's for a second channel probably but see if i posted on the main channel what would happen then is a whole lot of viewers would see just a ballet video and they would just not click on that so then youtube system will go oh all of your viewers here did not click on this video so we're gonna not recommend that video to any more of your subscribers essentially essentially every time you post a video you have this network effect because you get notifications sent out to your core following and if your core following really likes it then youtube will go oh these types of people really like that so let's recommend it to similar types of people as them because youtube categorizes every single user as a type of person that likes different types of content if that makes any sense whatsoever so it's like this chain reaction effect with good or positive click-through rate and i guess watch time i know i'm being very nerdy now and very
