Terraria, But I Update After Every Boss

Terraria is an old game so old it came out in 2011 which was 12 years ago so today I thought why not visit the first version of Terraria and go through a journey from version 1.0 to version 1.4.4 the latest update as of now the game is almost over now and Terraria has gone through a huge Journey so the idea of this video is that every boss I defeat I'll have to update my game starting from version 1.0 now I'm not gonna hit every single update obviously I mainly tried to get the most important and biggest updates with some small updates in there we'll go from 1.0 and beat the Eye of Cthulhu all the way to 1.4.4 where we will defeat the moon Lord but before we get get started guys only ten percent of you are subscribed 90 aren't subscribed but we are trying to hit 50 000 by the end of the year so subscribe if you haven't already it would mean so much let's get right into the video alright so we start off on 1.0 now I never actually played 1.0 I started Terraria on 1.1 so this is pretty new to me now you can tell the game is pretty Bare Bones it feels much more like an indie brand new game you can see the lighting is much different much more blocky lighting the clouds are drawn the sun looks much different but yeah I just started by cutting down some trees you can see the terrain is different and I also have to jump up every single block I don't step up a block there's no helper so I make a crafting bench a wooden sword and a bow because you don't start with a copper short sword in this update something I had to get used to pretty quickly for a while you couldn't actually use items out of your inventory you couldn't use an item unless it was in your hot bar which was kinda crazy there are just a lot of things that have been added to the game over time that are very useful and very good but you only miss them when they're gone slime sink to the bottom of water instead of float on top random pillars of sand exist world generation is much different and I will obviously be using the same world throughout this whole playthrough so I started spelunking into the first cave that I saw you break platforms with hammers you break placed wood with axes why would you break wood with an ax but you break a platform with a hammer this game is just crazy different now was this a challenge I mean kind of the game kinda used to be hard even though this is just normal mode normal mode was all there was and the game was actually not too easy obviously Sprites of enemies and Sprites of anything look different like this skeleton's looking goofy you can hold torches underwater for some reason you couldn't heal with a quick buff button there was no real keybinds so you had to have a healing pot in your hot bath wait what why was it blue were no potions other than healing potions and Mana potions and you also don't regenerate life naturally you need to find a band of Life regeneration to regenerate it might be time today now I start building a house I can't build over garage I made a furnace and you can see the old Sprite dang it looks so different there was obviously no block swap no Auto opening doors no smart cursor no smart tool I went and got some surface iron ore you can see what I'm talking about with The Columns of sand the world generation was just super weird I went down into another cave I found a life Crystal I then found a chest and some water and it had a magic mirror in it yes that's right there were no gold chests in this update or at least not naturally and then made some armor some better weapons I then decided to explore west of the world there is a desert biome but I don't think Cactus existed at this point of the game and there were no special enemies there and then eventually I got to the beach but the beach didn't have any chests in it and to the east of the world is the corruption very close to home so I'm going to the corruption to bomb some Eben Stone and smash a shadow orb but it turns out 1.0 if you go to the corruption you get bombarded with enemies they just keep coming and I soon realize you can't bomb Evan Stone in this update you can't bomb the only way to get Shadow orbs is purification powder I can't get to the orbs without purification powder and they can't summon the King Slime because it didn't exist yet I finally got past the corruption and I got to the dungeon now okay technically I could fight Skeletron before the Eye of Cthulhu but I'm I'm not gonna do that I made it to the ocean I found a breathing read and I found a flipper now something that I noticed is that you can just stack up accessories so I had two Shackles on I don't know if it actually worked there's no indicator of how much defense I have so I don't know but I assumed it did now the merchant moves in I'm able to buy potions and arrows and torches I go down into another cave I find a life Crystal and some emeralds gems I'm pretty sure they don't have a use they're completely useless except for selling but I find another Life Crystal you might have wondered where the jungle was I actually didn't come across a jungle on the surface but I do find an underground jungle while I am exploring this cave so that means there is a jungle but there's just no surface jungle I don't know if that's normal for release Terraria but anyway I come across some jungle enemies it turns out Hornets used to not shoot Stingers they would just charge at you I found a jungle Shrine which yes has a wooden chest and I got a staff of regrowth which was a little bit pathetic I actually didn't realize it does 20 damage I then decide that there's a few too many hornets and a man-eater so I go home make a gold sword and a gold bow I find a glowing mushroom biome and yeah it's a little bit pathetic but yeah I'm basically just looking for more Life Crystals and hopefully some Hermes boots now you might have noticed chests have much smaller storage also platforms only give you one platform per wood so I created a little platform for the Eye of Cthulhu I don't have a grappling hook or anything this is very Bare Bones but let's go for it a little oversight by the developers on Ray least lesser healing potions heal for 100 health I made some normal healing potions they heal for 200 Health also there is potion sickness but it is much shorter than a minute it is legitimately like 10 to 15 seconds and you can heal for a hundred and two hundred so yes there's no regeneration but holy crap you can kill pot super fast and it's double so yeah I kept shooting the Eye of Cthulhu until it got into second phase then it started charging at me it did tend to just clip me a little bit but most of the fight I was able to maneuver around them and the Eye of Cthulhu Falls to me let's go all right first was down boys and he dropped some Unholy arrows Demonite Ore and corrupt seeds welcome to 1.0.4 now the next boss that we are aiming to fight is King Slime as that is the boss that was added in this update now obviously I skipped 1.0.1 1.0.2 1.0.3 went straight to 1.0.4 because those updates were quite insignificant they didn't really add anything now with the Demonite Ore I do make a demon bow I'm just gonna go and try and defeat the king's slime with what I have now now also you might have noticed that 1.0 Terraria has bad aspect ratio it's as if you're playing on like an old school TV that's just how it was it wasn't 1080p you actually couldn't change your resolution or anything until one of the updates between 1.0 and 1.0.4 so to fight King Slime you can not craft a slime Crown it didn't exist until 1.1 the only way to get King Slime to spawn in this update is go to the outer edge of the world the little grass patch before the beach and just wait I did that for a while and he just wasn't spawning so once it was getting night time I decided I was going to head over to the dungeon on the east side of the world and collect a water candle this will increase the spawn rate chance of the king's slain but the King Slime just wasn't spawning for me I didn't know what I was doing wrong so I decided instead of the King Slime I would attempt to fight the Eater of Worlds instead and we will fight the King Slime next so I made a little Arena up on the surface of the corruption and with the purification powder I made my way down to the shadow orbs I did get a vile Thorn which could be super helpful I tried a magic mirror from my inventory and that clearly doesn't work I make some Mana stars with the fallen stars that I got they do cost 10 fallen stars by the way 10 absolutely insane the amount of Eater of souls I was encountering was utterly insane I couldn't even spawn the dang boss without getting absolutely freaking bombarded by these enemies but eventually I headed down and I spawn on the Eater of Worlds I had a little platform that I scaled up so that I could get to the surface and I started using my vile Thorn and bow on the Eater of Worlds now you couldn't craft Jester arrows or anything on this update so I couldn't just make just the arrows there wasn't much things at Pierce except the valve Thorn that I knew of now after minutes of fighting the Eater of Worlds attacking his body constantly with Val Thorne with all my weapons none of his segments were breaking I didn't know what was going on eventually I got stuck in a little corner and the either of odds defeated me so yeah now I'm back home with a defeat with an L hang that L over my head it feels bad man feels bad but wait what's that he's back for more that's right the Eden was followed me to my home is out of the corruption and he wants a rematch what why did he not despawn I don't know but now we're fighting him from home apparently bosses just don't despawn or something I don't know maybe it's just an either Awards thing but yeah I'll tell take it most of the eater world's body is pretty low at this point it did Chip at a lot of his body parts I then died again but it doesn't matter because he didn't despawn and eventually I pick off every single part of the Eater of Worlds and he falls to me and for some reason he just drops a shadow scale male for me just straight up so thanks for that welcome to 1.1 now the problem I had is when I updated to 1.1 my character wasn't working on my world I don't know what was happening I don't know what was wrong but I had to create a new character I created a new world so that I could put the items from that character into a chest so that I could take my new character and I could grab those items rest in peace gamer so now Terraria supports full screen so I went into full screen and apparently my recording software didn't know what to record so I lost some footage I did fight and defeat the King Slime but there's no visuals there is audio so here's the audio of me defeating the king slime but here is the footage of 1.0 you can see the lighting has changed a lot it looks a lot better it's not as much of a blocky mess the game actually looks like Terraria now like you could take a random screenshot you wouldn't think much of it you think it's just regular Terraria but anyway I went to the outer edge of the map to fight King Slime again this time on camera because I did realize that it didn't record I created a little platform for the King Slime it was not very difficult at all considering the King Slime did not teleport at this stage now the King Slime only drops ninja armor at this stage all right so apparently I'm just a big stupid goofball because I didn't record the start of like 1.1.1 Journey but a goblin army did come and they did defeat the Goblin Army I also have some more Demonite armor a nightmare Pickaxe lights Bane demon bow and while I'm working on my elevator I find the bound Goblin who I can buy some rocket boots from and a tinker's bench but I don't have Hermes boots yet so I can't make Specter boots as you can see the shadow of light pet is yellow and it has a timer on it and it also costs Mana to you use I think on 1.1 they made it so the magic mirror uses Mana as well I then continued to venture down deep into the caves I realized I could make some Boulders at a tinker's bench for six Stone I thought that this was like an old update thing and that they were super cheap no you can make them with that much stone at a heavy workbench it's just you can't make them at a tinker's bench anymore eventually we made our way down into the underworld yes it just has a regular backdrop it doesn't even have like a sick backdrop that the underworld has now I remember when they first added that new background and it looked so sick but yeah as you can see all the houses they're not obsidian houses they are the hellstone brick houses so I go to grab a hellforge I start by trying to break it with a pickaxe and that is obviously not how you break it so I bring out my hammer and I start swinging at it and that doesn't work either why doesn't that work apparently you can only break hellstone forges with a meteorite hair Max you can't even break it with a Demonite Hammer but yet you can break hellstone with a nightmare Pickaxe now I'm getting mad over a game that has fixed these flaws these flaws that don't exist anymore because they obviously were oversight in the design it's just funny looking back at it and how much this game has changed how much the game has gotten better and listened to its community and just improved overall now you might have noticed I can use stuff out of my inventory now that is a 1.1 feature it is very nice now down in the Underworld there are chests but they're not Shadow chests they're just regular chests so I'm able to find a band of regeneration this was likely changing 1.1 there was probably shadow chess and 1.1 but the world is still 1.0 so the chests remained the same so yeah the underworld doesn't really have much special loot except for the hellstone in the first version of Terraria but after looting a bunch of chests I do find some Hermes boots and I'm able to make some Specter boots now I am pretty confident that I will be able to defeat Skeletron I do summon Skeletron at night time I don't have a full set of Demonite but I'm close to it I try to use these Boulders as a weapon against Skeletron but I'm just kind of bad and it didn't really work and I actually didn't do that much damage it didn't do as much damage as I thought it would so I ended up just switching mainly to the Harpoon and the demon bow Harpoon mainly when is spinning his fat skull and Demon bow when he's not eventually after maybe not my best display ever uh I do defeat Skeletron it wasn't that hard I set up for it I did buy a grappling hook from the goblin tinkerer if you have it in your inventory you can use the bound button of e to actually use it so now we're already at 1.2 obviously I skipped the queen bee because I can't fight the queen bee on this world there are no beehives there's no way to get honey there's no way to fight the queen bee at all but now my character gamer works again for some reason but I'm already so deep into old man now you can see the chess have improved in size 1.2 poggers update just the bigger boys and girls what Moto was a huge update actually so so big of an update and so now I've defeated Skeletron I am able to go down into the dungeon there's no locked chest they're just regular wooden chests with the dungeon loot in it except this one has an angel statue in it crazy dungeon loot for one of the chests I open had a handgun in it and then a blue moon so there were dungeon items they just also happen to be regular items in the dungeon for some reason that was funny because enemies dropped golden keys but they had absolutely no use so as it was a small world I eventually looted the entirety of the dungeon and I only found one thing of actual good use which is the handgun so now I decided I was gonna fight the Wall of Flesh now I wanted to fight it with the boulders I wanted to make the boulders work I was placing them and they weren't really rolling they weren't really doing anything I hit myself with a boulder and I I ended up dying to this sluggish Moving Wall of Flesh the most pathetic being in the world well I actually fell to my death I didn't died of the wall I realized that the balder kind of went the wrong way because of the direction I was facing so I decided to fight the Wall of Flesh again with my newfound knowledge I don't think I was right because I ended up rolling a boulder into myself again like an absolute buffoon and because of that I died to the wall of flesh once more I'm actually such an idiot if I just fought the wall like a normal human being I would have beaten it already but I ended up getting some obsidian making an Obsidian Skin Potion and Mining some hellstone which mines abnormally slow on this update and then I was able to make a molten pickaxe and a phoenix Blaster I then went over to the dungeon to farm some bones that I needed to get because I decided I was gonna make some actual armor that I need some actual good armor for this boss fight so I crafted some necro armor one of the skeletons dropped an ancient necro helmet I decided to actually fight the Wall of Flesh and actually beat it this time so I throw the guy video doll in the water in the lava and yeah I just Spam The Phoenix Blaster into the eyes of the Wall of Flesh into the mouth of the wall flesh all right so now we're on to 1.2.1 1.2.1 was the Halloween update it added the Pumpkin Moon I can't fight that right now so I went over to the corruption and I smashed some Demon Alters good thing that demon Alters existed in 1.0 I got Cobalt or a calcum and Adamantite so I mined some Cobalt so I got to cook about pickaxe and then went down and made some Aura calcum now my entire mine was corrupted like the corruption absolutely dominated my world it was actually insane I mean I was able to get Souls of Night pretty easily I mined a lot of Aura calcum and I made a full set of oracalcum a pickaxe and a repeater the hallowed is west of the world I went down into the hallowed collect some Souls of light and some crystals and some pixie dust I was getting a bunch of pixie dust for one reason I wanted some wings and pixie wings are pretty good to get early game they're better than demon wings and angel wings sorry I went up to the skies and I fought the wyvern now I'd only dropped five Souls of Flight so I need to find it at least three more times my repeater with Unholy arrows pierces through the wyvern which makes it a pretty easy kill I then went down to the underworld and fought the Wall of Flesh once again attempting to get an emblem of Swords didn't even drop one but the second time I got a range Anthem which is perfect because I am a ranger I then farmed for some Souls of light I killed a skeleton archer and I dropped a marrow the marrow was buffed not in this update like a while after this update so it's actually not amazing but I mean it's a rare drop and it's pretty cool I decided to summon the destroyer first as I have a few piercing things and you know what this fight actually caused me quite a bit of trouble I did get down to like under 100 Health at some point towards the end of the fight I can't lie it's mainly because I don't have a dash I'm just so used to using a dash like dashes are Central around my gameplay all right then I quickly updated to 1.2.1 and almost back to back I summoned the twins twins are generally pretty easy so yeah I kind of solo out spasmatism as per usual kill him first as I want retinaser to be lost there's retinas is kind of the harder one so after spaz Falls to me I am now targeting red I get right into second phase but it's no problem I can just fly upwards and he can't hit me oh where's your brother huh where's your brother to help you oh he's gone so now I have sold my installs of sight now we're on to 1.2.3 which added the traveling Merchant and The Stylist not a big update but it was an update now if you see that with other editions like bug fixes all of that I made a hallowed repeater and I summoned Skeletron Prime now this boss it has a lot of Health but it's not too bad it did get me relatively low like below half Health but I was able to kind of keep my distance keep pummeling it with arrows but yeah skeleton Prime Falls to me and that is all the mechanical bosses down now we're on to 1.2.4 now 1.2.4 added duke fishron it also added fishing and mine carts I mean fishing is a pretty big thing to add in One update I remember when 1.2.4 was like the latest update I remember playing 1.2.4 I remember being excited for 1.3 so I decided I'm gonna fight Duke fishron instead of playing Terror give myself a challenge Duke fishron was added this update so why don't we just fire them before Plantera post neck but pre-plane Terror so I went down into a glowing mushroom bomb that is bigger than that original one I found and I found a truffle Worm pretty quickly to prepare for the Duke fishron fight I went down to the underworld and I fought the Wall of Flesh again to make an Avenger emblem to stack with my Ranger emblem I then realized that in 1.2 that the emblems need to be combined all three of the classes as Summoner didn't exist then sorcerer Ranger and Warrior needed to be combined to make an Avenger emblem I didn't remember this from 1.2 then randomly a solar eclipse happened riddling up some random Frank Stein dropped a broken hero sword they used to drop it apparently mothron just didn't exist and then made True Excalibur which is better than my beam sword that I found I then went over to the beach and reeled in my fishing rod with the Truffle worm and he didn't spawn I my line broke I think did my line just break apparently 1.2.4 there was a glitch where Duke fishron just wouldn't spawn so I updated my game to 1.2.4.1 where that was patched I got another truffle worm I then went to the beach and fought Duke fishron now this fight didn't go very well I kind of got slapped around by Duke fishron's fish sharks his tornadoes and himself my movement just isn't that great without a dash is actually quite difficult so this time I made a little house for the nurse put like someone do fish run again I go over to nurse heal and the nurse just isn't there she just left she didn't die she just left Duke fishron kills me and I find the nurse just chilling at home why did she move back home I chose her to be at that space Civic house and she just was like no I'm leaving while I was looking for a truffle worm the going mushroom bomb happens to be inside of corruption so I killed a skeleton archer and it dropped a corruption Key Mold yes there used to be key molds not Keys basically you have to combine a temple key and some Souls with the Key Mold to open up the corresponding chest but if you didn't realize already this world only has wooden chests in the dungeon it doesn't even have a corruption chest so for a while I was super excited I was like heck yeah I can get the scourge of the corrupter super sick no I can't it doesn't exist I could make a new world and do it but that's lame I started making a nice little area for Plantera I thought maybe I'll fight Plantera instead of Duke fishron since I can't even beat dude fishron but then I decided to stop being a little baby and I went and got another truffle worm and summoned Duke fishron once again but sometimes being a baby saves you from death because I got ruined by a shark run that did 109 damage but I was determined to defeat it this time so I started to actually go fishing for certain potions like endurance so that I could actually defeat this boss I summoned the king's slime because I really wanted a slimy saddle that would help with the vertical movement to summon this King Slime I needed 30 gold bars a ruby and 99 slime but I got the slimy saddle I tested it out and it did not improve my vertical movement uh it was kind of trash to be honest it was kind of trash I guess it was buffed in 1.3 so I summoned Duke fishron hopefully for One Last Time Palm would it with my chlorophyte shop Bow and this time I decided I'd just run left and right I'd keep running I'd keep going I'd go and get a nurse heal but the nurse dies tragically so now I am in deep doodoo I have no heels I just gotta move I gotta move fast keep my distance from duke fishron and I hope that he doesn't kill me but eventually I actually defeat Duke fishron and I get a Flareon and a pirate map I don't know how rare it is for Duke fishron to drop fire map I don't know if he has increased all the dropping one I've never seen that happen before that might be super rare but yeah the Flareon which is a pretty good melee weapon so now we're on 1.3 1.3 is such a big update it added the lunar events which is the celestial pillars and the moon Lord that had Martian Madness Granite caves marble caves underground desert expert mode achievements yo-yos just a huge update it was so sick oh crap I then accidentally spawned in the Pirate Invasion I just misclicked this is basically the same thing there's still The Flying Dutchman there's still the captain there's everything I'm saying they're still I mean technically this is the pass so there was but yeah the only difference is that the captain doesn't spawn in the ghost after the Pirates have been defeated I then started my jungle Ventures I started mining a bunch of chlorophyte and I was seeking out turtles because I wanted turtle shells I wanted to kind of make a switch into melee from range since I got the flare on also I don't want to make sure my armor my glowing mushroom biomes are abysmal getting that stuff with be atrocious are you freaking kidding me is this a joke is this it is it's a joke so for about 40 minutes I farm Turtles until I get three turtle shells which I make the total armor out of and then fight the world flesh once again and get the warrior emblem straight away which I can replace my Ranger emblem with and now I'm ready to fight Plantera this fight shouldn't be too hard I have almost end game armor with Turtle armor and a Flareon which is stronger than the weapons I'm supposed to have at this stage and yeah kill Plantera pretty easily pretty quickly he drops a grenade launcher a pygmy staff our first summon weapon so now we're up to 1.3.3 and we have to fight the Golem next you might be wondering how am I gonna fight the Golem there's no Temple 1.0 didn't have lizard temples and that is where you are well you're right you're right viewer that's completely correct the the temple didn't exist now what I could do is make a new world and fight the Golem in that world and just fight through the whole thing once again with the new world and everything but that's really cringe I want to finish this world on the same word I started on 1.0 but unfortunately there's no way to fight the Golem legitimately so I had to cheat in a lizard Altar and some lizard power cells so that I could fight the Golem synthetically but it's not really cheating it's just kind of putting something in the world that should have been there in the first place you know I put the lizard altar in the middle of my Plantera Arena it's basically the same size as the lizard Temple's little Arena and yeah as per usual the Golem is literally no problem I didn't even have to buff properly 1.3.3 added the underground desert update sandstorms and sand Elementals now obviously this doesn't matter the desert so-called desert in 1.0 was just some sand and there's nothing below it it's just like a little patch of sand there's nothing for an underground desert to exist but now we're up to 1.3.4 I now have a new cursor looks sick a 1.3.4 added the new tower defense event Dungeon Defenders 2. basically odd one's Army so I went back to fight the Golem and I found the tavern keep just chill in the arena for the Golem again trying to get Beetle husks for some Beetle armor and I bought some stuff for the oban's Army event and then made a platform for the old ones Army and on Wave 2 I got absolutely Smoked by it so that didn't go so well a solar eclipse happened and now mothron is actually here I saw this solar eclipse all the way through and the only thing that they dropped the mothron dropped a broken hero sword and that's it I didn't get any other drops except the death Circle I know and a butcher's chainsaw that's it that's it pathetic I then summoned the odd ones Army again now I want to fight Betsy I want to beat Betsy as one of the bosses for an update now Betsy is technically not a boss but also is a boss depends what you think I'm not doing so hot against the odd ones Army I'm not doing great so I decided to fight the lunatic cultist instead and hopefully get an end game weapon that I can use against the Old One's Army and fight Betsy then I challenge Luna to cultist at the dungeon I'm using the Flareon and he was absolutely no issue I just had to hit the right one and then Escape my distance from him and it was absolutely fine eventually he falls and the celestial pillars are now here but that means let's go let's go we are now on raria 1.4 1.4 added Journey mode Master mode bestiary golf pylons graveyard Oasis Queen slime and Empress of light some huge addition absolutely one of my favorite updates of the game's history and now we're basically caught up I mean despite some of the 1.4.4 editions that were added that I really love we are basically in the regular updates now but I decided to fight the solar pillar first I don't know how anyone thinks a solar pillar is easy it isn't easy it's atrocious I hate this pillow so much eventually I do defeat it and I make the day break and that's all I can make now I fight the Old One's Army again and I only get the wave two it's not going great so I decided to do a little trick of an impossible wall for the odd ones army they actually can't pass through it it's a little platform that they get pushed from and now with that trick I actually get to wave seven but barely I I don't get very far in wave 7. I I then keep trying to fight it getting the medals I need to kind of improve my strategies to get a Sentry and everything I need to actually beat Betsy but I put the platforms a little more back and suddenly things were looking really well I got to wave 7 with my crystal pretty much fully intact and Betsy is now spawned now I have a chance to actually fight her and beat her now with the Daybreak I just Pummel her I Pummel everything constantly shooting any of like the flying enemies that come by and Betsy and eventually Betsy Falls to me and that means that the Old One's Army is defeated and that's another bust down and I get the Betsy's wrath now this means we are now in 1.4.1 1.4.1 they added Journeys and vanity contest sets princess NPC Flink staff and flink's fur coat and balance changes so I now went over to the Stardust pillar and destroyed it pretty easily wasn't really a big problem and the nebula pillar does anyone want to hear about my experience with the pillars not really so they were pretty easy that's all I have to say nebula little little odd but it was okay since 1.4.1 adds the vanity contest sets I made the floret protector vanity set and put it on wore it with dignity and now there is a certain boss that has been added that I wanna fight the Empress of light the Empress of light is pretty fun pretty epic one of my favorite bosses to ever be added to the game and yeah I just want to see if we can beat her see if we can beat the challenge of empress the light as she is one of the hottest bosses in the game if not the hardest Moon Lord and her are pretty hard you just dodge her attacks I get kinda low but she's pretty low as well things are looking pretty scary but I do beat her and I die so um we'll call it a draw but I then went and got my loot which was a Starlight but now we are on 1.4.3 which was the Don't Starve Together crossover update so this added deer Club so I thought why not fight deer clubs as it is that update that added deer clubs you know we might as well it'll be fun then I realized wait my world doesn't have a snow biome snow biomes did not exist in 1.0 they were added in 1.2 so I really wanted to do it I really wanted to fight deer clops on this update so I made a new world and I went over to the snow biome waited for a blizzard and for it to be midnight some reason it didn't spawn at midnight like it says it's supposed to so I went down I got some Flex fur I made a deer thing in summoned deer clubs it was pretty difficult pretty difficult fight I can't lie we just barely ended up defeating it with our legendary pone Hammer alright now boys and girls ladies and gentlemen Gamers and losers we are now on 1.4.4.9 this is the most recent update I now have all my characters back all my worlds back and an additional world called gaming which is an original 1.0 World kind of crazy that I have transferred a 1.0 world into 1.4.4.9 the latest update so now there's only one thing left to do Moon Lord so I went over to the vortex pillar which I actually had a lot of trouble where they can't lie this is the most trouble I've ever had with Vortex pillar I don't know why it did so much damage to me I had Beetle armor I had everything I don't know I don't know what was going on I do have my texture packs back on now because I am back on my normal game I went over to the jungle and started collecting some live fruits to make sure that I am ready for the moon Lord but yeah I think it's the lack of Dash that was my main issue with the vortex pillar so I went past the vortex pillar deep into the dungeon and I spent a while here looking for one certain item which was the Tabby Dash I found a black belt which is good but I am not gonna use that I want the Tabby eventually I do get the Tabby now I'm not making Master ninja gear because there was no such thing as climbing claws or shoe spikes in 1.0 in any of the chest now I could go for them with crates but I'm just not wasting my time on that now I fly to the sky just for fun and I find a sky island this is a 1.0 Sky Island look at it it has wooden chests it has these like silver bricks it looks so different and also there's the meteorite that landed it landed on the sky island all right so I finally defeat the vortex pillar and now impending doom approaches and Mr Moon Soul Moon Lord man so good Moon Soul Moon Man soul Moon Lord Soul good Lord what spawns now this is a normal mode Moon Lord so it shouldn't be too hard um the death laser eye comes out and it blasts me and it only does 84 damage like actually pathetic this is just this is just pathetic nothing I just throw my day break into the eyes until they break textbook moonlord eventually all three eyes are destroyed and I Target the core now I just need to dash constantly to the left of the map to the right of the map whatever keep away from the true eye of cthulhu's when they shoot their projectiles and the moon Lord now Falls to me and we are the victors of Terraria but every time I beat a boss I go up an update starting from 1.0 that is a lengthy title I'll have to work on that but thank you guys so much for watching this was an absolute blast I had a lot of fun going back into the old updates it just shows me how much Terraria has evolved how much per digit and re-logic how much love they have shown into this game how much they have absolutely poured into they've poured their lives into these games they have literally listened to everything we've said taken everything into account and the game is a beautiful Masterpiece now and it was just awesome to see and go back and feel that Nostalgia of old Terraria I'm not even blinded by Nostalgia I used to play 1.1 but the game is just objectively better now so I just want to say thank you to the Terraria team if any of you are watching this thank you so much for pouring so much time and effort and love into this game all the updates I appreciate you guys so much I cherish it with all my heart and it was just an awesome journey I can't wait to see where Terraria goes from here and where that new game's gonna go Terraria two let's go alright if you enjoyed the video subscribe if you
