there's plenty prepper bill today we're on do something a little bit different we're gonna make pickled hotdogs that's right just taking a bar that pickled sausage but this is two packs of ballpark hot dogs with Frank's hot sauce now we're going to make pickled hot dogs let's get to it [Music] and everything [Music] what now pythons didn't okay so for this actually what I'm using is a half cup of sugar two packs of the hot dogs four cups of vinegar I'm using white vinegar 1/2 teaspoon of salt 2 tablespoons and pickling spice one teaspoon of minced garlic I'm going to throw some raw garlic in the jar and I got one tablespoon of cumin and one cup of Frank's hot sauce and I put I measured everything out put them in a bowl so that's ready to go now in here I have my four cups of vinegar this is the one cop well one cup of hot Frank sauce [Music] and what else to do here's all the other ingredients [Music] we got all our stuff in there I'm going to bring it to a boil a quick boil and then let it simmer for about five minutes [Music] so now while our brine is cooling off a little bit I'm just going to put a couple chunks of onion which I didn't mention the ingredients onion garlic and look it's a hot dogs in and you can see I cut the ends off just so it seeps in better I'm gonna do about half of this and put another layer in [Music] over here for that now what we got to do just pour the brine in you want to put some warm brine in here but I didn't want it too hot we're gonna put that in here should be full of that but won't break my ass [Music] and it gets in your face or that is hot let me drive water [Music] so got some crushed pepper seasoning in here [Music] [Music] let's wake the jar off [Music] [Music] there [Music] look at that gut that filled all the way up to the top [Music] that hotdogs displaces the garlic onion [Music] let it cool off a little bit stick in refrigerator some people say three or four days some people say 14 days some people say a month so I'll probably see what happened to Tom all around with this is Pawnee prepper bill today was just something different we did the pickled eggs Tabasco hot sauce eggs the mustard eggs and we were doing it once with the beets and they were know they're all good we're still waiting for the Tabasco and the mustard until the fourth of July although I did sneak one or two of each the other day but they are good and it got me thinking of the pickled sausages I used to buy in the store and at the bar I can't find anymore I don't go to the bars anymore and in the grocery store I used to buy you know the jar is a different different kind of pickled sausage can't find it can't find them anywhere so I found a couple recipes online and I'm going to give it a try I thought they worked out good we'll see what happens fourth of July with them - all right so I got for this one I'll talk to you later bye-bye
