Survival and EDC Shopping at my Local Walmart - 2017

Walmart [Music] [Music] [Music] so we're down here in the camping hunting and outdoor section as usual but we decided to wait a couple months due to the fact that we wanted to wait for all of the January and Christmas holiday stop to kind of deplete and bring all the new stuff in for 2017 it looks like exactly what's happening there are a lot of new items here that we've never seen before so we're going to be trying to bring us many of those items to you as possible so this is pretty cool this is a first aid kit and this has a 123 piece kit but what we like about this is on the other side there is a lot of good items and it seems for like an algae booboo kit it's just pretty well-rounded this is something I would definitely consider throwing in a kit without you know ramping it all the way up to a trauma kit or something like that so this is interesting item this is the wave finder lighter it's a butane lighter with a compass on it we've never seen anything like that before but looks like a daze refillables 18 now along to my the first aid this first aid kit awesome is 125 piece kit definitely something I would put in a vehicle or probably at home for house you booboo kit but it's all-inclusive but what we like right now there's a whole bunch of them at our Walmart less than 10 bucks just like we've predicted we are over in our like fire-starting section most for in-home stuff but look at this a 12 pack of zip fire starters brutal or gotta love the clearance time so you guys have actually seen this a few times this is a 2 pack of those extreme fire starters these lasted about 20 minutes but the best part about what I'm about to show you there you end up being 25 cents of jeans this is an interesting lighting that I just found this is the survival Beast point 5 which kind of looks like a key chain tool but it's not too bad and only four dollars now if you were on a budget but you need to start working on a get home bag or a plug out bag this is a really cool fine and this is why you always consumer shop before he picks up but right here checks out 25 litre capacity to Stillwater backpack by Oakes all those are shrimp awesome check it out $11 America this is awesome this is pretty cool I don't know the quality of it so we're definitely gonna bring this to the channel why I'm still intrigued is a nice little hand shovel something you would probably seem like a good gardening question more like a trowel but four bucks let's give you something like a light duty digging tool for your back without taking a face at all they're too sweet items right here these are some folding scissors and some trail tweezers we've never seen these before we like the trail through this because in scientist tweezers are actually an LED light with replaceable battery options for them but at only four dollars and under two bucks for the folding scissors that's definitely coming in now this is not a new thing but and I think I've actually shown us off before but the floral tips playing card it's definitely something I'm guests are going to finally pick up because me and my kids love to play cards but we want to do some more learning stuff with the boys but less than five bucks this I mean as a learning tool that's not bad so for a very very lightweight pack if you're trying to have something extremely mobile these are one of our favorite kind of tent pegs they're not the absolute best but they're awesome for their weight and what they just did they do they just work but for 76 cents apiece hard to beat is the nylon tent repair kit this is going to be awesome I'm definitely picking this up well right now if you guys are near a Walmart that has a good camping section just let go check it out because right now ours on clearance will rebuffs and it tends to be a universal Walmart thing so mama check now this is pretty cool you get about 10 total feet of duct tape for three bucks but you're paying more for the convenience for the size of the rolls more than the actual amount so you get a knife and I look possibly like a multi-tool but this is the SOG knives and tool kit is the micro roll tool clip in the center too but definitely go check your Walmart for the post holiday sale stuff nine bucks like four bucks a pop this is the advanced wound care kit this is in the like vehicle section with all the roadside stuff this is on a new item we've never seen before looks like it's got some blood stop advantages and from stop the bleeding cute kid but this is pretty neat about 13 dollars but we can bring it to the channel so you guys can let us know if you feel that it happens to be a good deal or not this is a medium sized sewing kit but we love these because they take no space at all they're good for emergency sutures I'm talking about emergency not ideal and they're also good for clothing appearance because if you're an emergency situation you get into a rough patch you start you know breaking pockets and things start tearing down having something small like this can save your butt but that is the biggest benefit a dollar seventy two so this seems like an unlikely place but in conjunction with that sewing kit we just saw now a lot of these are like a dollar fifty they seem like a good deal there's only there only two-piece set up but if you go over here if you're willing to spend $2 more so you get four bucks you'll get a 22 piece kit to be able to actually patch up your clothes and want to tell your match but I would rather not match down my clothes over the money my bits not exposed than anything else now here on Drop for survival we definitely recommend having a first aid kit first sterile stuff put in a pinch if you keep it just like this in the packaging you'll be more clean and having something is better than nothing but cheesecloth at ten five and three dollars you can give yourself some pretty cool emergency bandages on the fly for less money and I would definitely keep them wrapped up but in a pinch as a last resort alternative you have nothing else to use like this and some duct tape BAM you got a mercy bandage and so you can go find helpful can anybody say emergency tourniquet if you absolutely need one and you don't have one dollar fifty and a pinch super emergency huh when you need to use your tears to reflect out the Sun to certify a knot you can let you see everything but this is going to be our biggest our whole ever [Music] oh man we are back from our trip at Walmart holy man did we just pull in a huge haul he has the best part about all of this gear right here every single aisle all of it put together over 20 items just under a hundred bucks this Johnson and Johnson first aid kit we actually bought this for the house so we have it in house first aid kit so we don't have to dive in in the other chip it's just a really smart idea we just wanted to stock up this is the advanced wouldn't care kit from we got this in the automotive section once you guys saw but we're what got our attention was the South the bleeding bandages I've never personally seen those before I know they have the the the blood stopping powders and granule look so that really burned and they hurt a lot but they do stop the bleeding really fast and they create that coagulation really well but this was a pretty good kid it's like 13 bucks so we're definitely filling this out and if we do like the Kate will end up putting this in our glove box or a prefab kit you just have another layer of protection if we need it for some reasons later on over from Christmas fire however this is like 10 bucks so I dunno SOG even though this is a very very budget-friendly item this is still probably gonna be higher quality than a lot of those little $4 names you find on the shelf at Walmart that are some like Ozark Trail and whatnot but yeah getting us some really small dinky stuff she'll be able to test this check it out and see what's up so that's pretty cool look my wife aka outdoor mama she is going to be doing a lot of fitness videos and we know here in Texas it gets hot so we went ahead and her a really nice budget-friendly camel path from outdoor product that already comes with the bladder bag in there with the hose attachment and everything so she'll be able to go on the longer walks and instruction the hikes and everything and be able to keep yourself hydrated but working to you are all in all we feel we had an absolute blast going through Walmart checking up all the brand new year for 2017 so we all know what January the new stuff doesn't just pop out usually need all of the old stuff from the holiday season they're kind of wither away and finally die and go away and then all the new exciting gear and new designs from to all the different companies start coming out and as you can see UST was pretty hitting hard because most items we finally after restriction were from them but if you like this video and you like this
