hello everybody hope you're having a great day we'll take a look at this super gooey and delicious peach cobbler it's one of my favorites and it's so easy to make a home and it's delicious let me show you how to do it well you want to start out with a 9 by 13 baking dish and into that you want to put one stick of regular salted butter that's 8 tablespoons of butter and I'm preheating the oven to 350 degrees and just stick that pan in the oven and it'll melt the butter as it preheats and then get a bowl into that add 1 cup of self-rising flour and 1 cup of regular sugar and to that I'm going to add one teaspoon of cinnamon now if you don't like cinnamon that much will use less or you don't have to use any at all but I really like it and then you have 1 cup of milk and to that I'm going to add one teaspoon of vanilla extract and then just pour it into the bowl and stir it up now this is going to make a very thin batter in fact you're gonna think it's too thin but don't worry about that just stir it in and it's going to have a lumps in it really and you don't have to worry about that either that's how easy this is so give it a stir and then we're going to set this aside and open up the sliced peaches and this is a twenty nine ounce can in heavy syrup we're gonna use it just like that by now the butter has melted and it's a nice hot dish make sure it's all over the bottom and now look how easy this is look how thin this batter is it doesn't look like it's thick enough but trust me it's gonna be great you can see the little lumps in there don't worry about that either this is so simple so easy you're gonna love it and then we're gonna pour this in and the syrup comes out first so kind of distribute the syrup and then allow the peaches to be evenly distributed just like that you don't have to stir it or mix it into the oven it goes but wait a minute before I put it in tell you what I've got some cinnamon sugar mix that I use for cinnamon toast I'm gonna just sprinkle a little of that on top you don't have to do this but I'm going to go ahead and do it and now put it in that preheated 350 degree oven for 50 minutes and if you'd like to do it longer for a more crispy top you can do that but this one was in for 50 minutes and this is how it comes out nice and bubbly and gooey this is the way I like peach cobbler take a look wonderful you let it cool off for about 10 or 15 minutes and now it's time to dish it up and show you how beautiful this is some cobblers come out like cake almost and others have more like a pie crust consistency and this is right in the middle of that right in the middle of the pie crust and cake and I really like it it's nice and gooey I think the gooey parts probably the best take a look at this oh my goodness it's beautiful look at that time for a bite Oh wonderful there's really only one way this can be better and that's to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream just like that well there you have it peach cobbler ah wonderful and so easy to make nothing to it at all well I hope you give it a try I hope you like this video thanks for watching take care we'll see you next time bye now [Music] you
