hey guys welcome back to this brand-new DaVinci Resolve tutorial in today's tutorial I'm gonna show you how to create this amazing subscribe pop-up notification or a lower third for YouTube inside of the Ranger dissolve 16 so I am Prakash for skyline motions and without any further ado let's take a new project and get started [Music] all right so before we get started we have to do some basic settings so just click on this little gear icon over here and set the size of this project 1920 by 1080 and let's go with any framerate so in this case I am going with 30 frame per second and I'm gonna say this playback frame rate equal to this timeline frame rate so I'm gonna say this value 30 and click on save and now I'm going to create this animation inside of this fusion page so we have to take a new fusion composition so just go to this media pool or I click on that and click on this new fusing composition and let's call it a fusion comp and I'm gonna set this duration 6 second long click on create and just drag this feeding comp on this timeline just like that and then go to your fusion page and here we have media out node so just drag this media out to the side for now and let's start by creating a background so click on this background button and just drag this background to the viewer and make it pure white and hit f2 on the keyboard to rename and let's call it BZ for background hit OK and let's attach a rectangular mask with this so click on this button and add a rectangular mask just like that and let's create a rectangular shape so just go to this inspector window and I'm gonna say this will value something around 0.7 and height value 0.25 and I'm gonna say this corner radius 0.35 and now we have a safe like this and now I'm going to use some icons or logo so this go to media pool right click on that and click on this import media and in this project I'm going to use this bail icon mouse cursor and this YouTube logo so I have given a link in the description so just go to the link and download this complete zip file and once you have downloaded to select these icons and select your channel logo and YouTube logo and click on open now I'm gonna use this YouTube logo first so just drag this YouTube logo on this floor window and hit f2 on the keyboard to rename and let's call it YouTube and let's merge it so I'm gonna use this YouTube logo as our foreground and this one as a background so I'm gonna connect this foreground with this background and we get this new merge so just drag this merge to the viewer and let's down the size a bit so I'm gonna set this size value point for maybe hit enter and just drag this YouTube logo right over here just like that and now right click on this flow window go to arrange tool and turn on this grid snapping it will helps you to keep this node clean and organized and hold alt on the keyboard and create a junction just like that and now let's import your channel logo or profile picture so I'm gonna use my channel logo so just track this logo on this flow window hit f2 on the keyboard and call it logo and connect the output of this logo with this merge and we get this new merge just drag it like this and drag this merge to the viewer and as you can see we have a square logo so I'm gonna make it round so select this logo and add an ellipse mask with this let it like this and just set it in center so the size of this no it's just like that alright so I'm gonna set this width value 0.7 and height value 0.7 and as you can see it's looking like this and now select this merge to and just drag it down and set the size of this logo something around 0.16 hit enter all right and place this logo right over here just like that and now let's type your channel name and your tagline so I'm gonna use a text node so just drag this text on this flow window and let's connect this text with the main background so connect the output of this foreground with this background just like that and drag the small tree to the viewer and select this text and select your favorite phone style so in this case I'm using century gothic and of course you can choose any different font style that you want and I'm gonna pick this color black okay and let's type your channel name hit enter and type your slogan or your tagline just like that and then right click on this styled text and I'm going to add a modifier character label styling and go to this modifier tab and now select all these text just like that and let's down the size of this so I'm gonna set this value 0.5 maybe hit enter all right and now select this bottom tag line and set it to regular and let's down the size a bit so I'm gonna set this value 0.04 and hit control and a scroll up to zoom in and let's align this just like that and after that just select this text and drag it over here just like that and after that I'm gonna create a subscribe button so I'm gonna use a background node so just drag this background on this flow window hit f2 on the keyboard and let's call it color hit enter select this color and pick this color picker button and pick this red color now let's merge it so connect the output of this color with this merge and just drag this much for to the viewer and now let's create a subscribe button so select this color and add a rectangular mask with this and drag it over here and this create a button like shape so I'm gonna set this height value 0.2 and I'm gonna set this corner radius 0.35 hit enter and as you can see it's looking like this and now let's drag this button over here and add our text so just take another text node and take a merge node and hold shift on the keyboard and attach this merge just after this color node and connect this green for run point with this text just like that and just arrange it like this now select this text and type subscribe and I'm going to use Arial font style and scale value 0.09 maybe hit enter all right and now we have a subscribe button and now select these four nodes hit ctrl + G to create a group and just select this merge and let's down the size a bit maybe 0.4 feet enter and just drag this subscribe button right over here and now I'm going to create a bill icon so I'm gonna use this Bell icon and hit f2 on the keyboard and let's call it a bell and now let's merge it so connect this foreground with this background and just drag this much to the viewer let's down the size a bit I'm gonna set this a scale value something around 0.1 and set this bill icon right over here just like that and now I'm going to read another button which is gonna be are subscribed so we have to duplicate this group one so select this group one which is our subscribe button and hit control V to paste and now let's merge this group with this group one so we have to take a new merge and hold shift on the keyboard and attach this merge seven just after this group one and connect this green for one point with this second group copy and just drag it over here and I'm gonna open this group by double clicking on that and select this color and I'm going to select this color it's just like that and now select this text and let's change this text subscribe to subscribe now close this group and select merge seven and here we have a blend option and now we have two buttons here subscribe and subscribed and now do the same thing for this Bell icon so just drag this second Bell I can hit f2 on the keyboard and let's call it Bell zero - all right and now let's merge it so take our merge node hold shift on the keyboard and attach this much after this Bell and connect this foreground point with this Bell - and just drag it over here and now select this March 8th and go to this inspector window and here we have blamed and as you can see this type of animation over here now I'm gonna animate our mouse cursor so for that I'm gonna use this hand cursor so just drag it on this flow window hit f2 on the keyboard call it Mouse and connect the output of this Mouse with this final March 6 and just drag this much nine to the viewer and let's down the size of this mouse cursor and said this is scale value 0.4 maybe and just drag it over here just like that and now I'm gonna animate this hand cursor so select this mouse and add a transform node after this mouse so click on this transform button and hit f2 on the keyboard and let's call it Mouse animation hit ok now close this media pool and just go to on frame number 80 which is equal to 2 second and 20 frame and let me tell you guys if you are working on a different frame rate as an example if you are working on a 60 frame per second then you have to set this CGI on frame number 160 according to 60fps so just select this mouse animation and just go to this inspector window and here we have transform so I'm gonna animate this Center so right click on center click on animate or you can also click on this button to create a keyframe so basically you have to create a keyframe on frame number 80 and just go back to one second on frame number 50 according to 30 frames per second and just drag this mouse cursor outside of this frame just like that so we get this type of mouse cursor animation and now hold it for five frame so go to on frame number 85 and add one more keyframe and now I'm gonna create a gap of pain frame which is gonna be our clicking animation over here so add one more key frame over here hold it for five frame and now just go to ten frame forward in time and just drag this mouse cursor on this Bell icon right over here and hold it for five frame and create a ten frame gap for click animation so add a keyframe on 125 and hold it for five frame by adding a keyframe and then go to one second forward in time so it should be on frame number one sixty and again just drag this mouse cursor outside of this frame alright so as you can see we have a linear animation right now so I'm gonna make it a smoother so go to a spline window hit f4 on the keyboard off the screen check this displacement and click on fit button and select these two keyframes hit s to smooth and select these two also hit s to smooth and now close this spline window and I'm going to create a mouse clicking animation over here so go to on frame number 85 and for this time I'm going to animate this scale value so just go to on frame number 85 click on this button and add a keyframe and go to on frame number 95 and add one more keyframe on frame number 95 and go to frame number 90 and just down the size a bit maybe 0.98 enter and as you can see we get this clicking animation and do the same thing for this Bell icon so just go to on a frame number 115 and add a keyframe on size and go to on 125 add one more keyframe and lock this value as it is and go to the center of these keyframe on frame number 120 and let's down the size a bit so I'm gonna set this value 0.98 enter and now we have a clicking animation also so let's make it a smoother so go to spline window again hit f4 on the keyboard and this time Sun check this displacement and check this size only and select these keyframes and click on this smooth button and click on fit button and now just drag this handle and create a straight line it's just like that alright and now we have a smooth clicking animation and close this spline window alright and now we have to create a clicking animation for this button so just select this merge seven and add our transform node after this button so click on this transform button hit f2 on the keyboard and let's call it button animation and select this button animation and go to on frame number 85 and select this one and let's animate the size of this so click on this button and add a keyframe on frame number 85 and go to on frame number 95 and lock these value as it is and go to the center of these frames on frame number 90 and let's down the size a bit maybe 0.9 can eat in town so as you can see we have a clicking animation alright and do the same thing for this Bell icon so we have to add one more transform for this Bell icon so select this much 8 and add our transform node after this March 8 8 f2 on the keyboard and call it bill animation here okay select this bill animation and just go to on frame number 115 over here and add a keyframe on size and lock this value as it is and go to on frame number 120 and I can click on this button and lock this value and go to on frame number 120 and let's down the size a bit so I'm gonna set this value 0.9 hit enter and now we get this type of animation but we also have to add our transition between these button so for that I'm gonna select this March 7 and go to the center of this clicking animation on frame number 90 and go back to 1 frame on frame number 89 and select this merge and let's animate this blend value so just set this blend value 1 and add a keyframe on frame number 89 and go to one frame forward in time on frame number 91 and just drag this blend value to 0 and we get this type of effect as you can see and do the same thing for this Bell icon so for that I'm going to select this merge eight and as you can see this is the center of this animation on frame number 120 so just go to one frame pack from frame number 120 and add a keyframe and set this blend value 0 and go to 2 frame for 1 in time on frame number 121 and again set this blend value 1 and now let's play this and now let's do one more thing just select this button animation and go to on frame number 100 and I'm gonna animate the position of this button so just lock this position as these on frame number 100 and go to on frame number 95 and just drag this button over here and now I'm gonna animate the opacity of this Bell icon so just go to on frame number 100 and select this merge six and I'm gonna animate this blend value so add a keyframe and love this bling value as it is and go back on frame number 95 and just set this blend value zero all right and now let's play this again all right so it's looking much more organic and now let's make this animation as smooth so click on this spline window hit f4 on the keyboard to fullscreen and uncheck all these nodes all right and check this button animation only click on fit button and open these button animation and uncheck this displacement and check this size only and click on fit button select these keyframes hit s to smooth and now and do the same thing for this Bell animation so I'll check this button animation and check this Bell animation and click on fit button select all these keyframes and hit s to smooth alright and close this spline window and syllabus March 9 which is our final node and add or transform node just after this March 9 and hit f2 on the keyboard and this is going to be our final animation head of K and now just go to on frame number 60 which is equal to 2 second according to 30 appears and I'm gonna animate this Center so right click on Center click on animate and lock this value as it is and go to on frame number 120 which is equal to 4 second and add one more keyframe and lock this value on frame number 120 and go to the end of this animation and just drag this sorry just drag this final animation on this viewer and just drag this outside of this frame and go to very beginning of this animation and again drag this animation outside of this frame and we get this type of animation but right now we have a linear animation so let's make it a smoother so click on this spline window hit f4 on the keyboard and this time check this final animation only and click on fit button select all these keyframe hit s to smooth and see the CTI at very beginning of this animation hold this point and just drag it like this and create a nice smooth curve and go to the end of this animation and hold this point and just set it like this and create a nice a small-craft just like that and close this a spline window click on fit button and let's have a look alright so as you can see this is a very basic animation and now if you want to create more interesting animation then we have to attach our transform node for each layers so just drag it like this and I'm going to use this same final animation for each layer so select this final animation and hit ctrl V to paste and hit f2 on the keyboard and let's call it animation and now leave these background as it is and hold shift on the keyboard and attach this animation node after this YouTube logo all right and select this animation hit ctrl C and select this logo hit control V to paste and select this text hit control V to paste and now let's add one more for this button so select this and hit control V to paste alright and now one more for this Bell icon so select this hit control V and now let's take a look and now it's looking much more interesting as you can see but we have to do some adjustment with the timing so I'm gonna set the timing of this text and this button so just select this animation to for this text and go to very beginning of this animation and just drag this much in 9 and now let's do some timing adjustment so just go to very beginning of this animation and just drag this text right over here and set this value something around 0.28 hit enter and do the same thing for the end of this animation where we have created a keyframe and set this value 0.28 all right and do the same thing with this button so just select this animation 3 and just go to very beginning of this animation where we have created a keyframe and just drag this button right over here and set this value 0.16 hit enter and go to the end of this animation where we have created a keyframe and again so this value point 1 6 in inter alright and just drag this final animation on this viewer and we get this type of interesting animation which is looking awesome alright and finally we have to connect media out with our final animation and then go to your edit tab alright and we get this type of very interesting animation so let's apply a background for this so just drag this fusion column on this second time line and let's import a background so right click on this click on import media and import a background and just drag this background on this timeline and this quarry inspector window and let's down the opacity of this alright and just turn on this loop button and let's have a look all right so it's looking awesome and that's all for this tutorial guys I hope you liked it if you liked it then hit the subscribe button and click on the bell icon to get notified when I will upload my new video and I will see you in next tutorial till then bye bye [Music]
