Tech rushing is dead Long Live Unity so in the recent 3.11 patch the balance has been completely overhauled and now research builds are far weaker than they used to be it's now far more difficult to get research speed bonuses research itself is more expensive and even researchers aren't as powerful as they used to be combining all these things together just makes research builds nowhere near as fun as they used to be and certainly nowhere near as powerful now on the bright side at least for me one of the builds I've always absolutely loved would always thought needed just a little bit of tweaking as finally had the update introducing Prosperity preachers no longer will temples being made in a mega Corporation give you one priest and one manager instead they now give you two Prosperity preachers which do get all the bonuses you can give to normal priests including the extra research and triade value from dimensional Enterprise and then the additional triade value which has been added to gospel of the masses the priest job becomes an absolute Powerhouse especially in the light game once you have some higher level leaders which then further increase all of these bonuses you then combine all of that with common ground our origin which instantly gives us access to the Trade Federation which means all of that additional trade value is not just becoming energy it's now becoming energy consumer goods and even more Unity with our population set up to give us as much trade value and unity as possible we should in theory be able to rush all of the Traditions all of the different um Ascension perks and really high level leaders as soon as possible which means we get all those endgame bonuses hopefully why earlier than you might expect if it all goes according to plan as it does in my head and finally our leader is going to be an official and we're going to try and keep them in power forever because the officials have all the bonuses for trade value and unity which of course is the whole point of this Empire now as for our difficulty we're going to be using the usual settings so the end game sets 2,300 mid game to 2,250 maximum crisis strength set to random and then we have the scaling for Mid game maximum difficulty again and then we have this the new Option difficulty adjusted technology costs this is what makes Tech more expensive I believe even at normal this affects things yep increased difficulty has a moderate effect on technology costs this is why endgame stuff is so much more difficult to scale now with tech in addition to all the other changes making research less effective and everything else it's really brutal and I think I prefer it off but we're going to have it on for this one because of course that's the whole point of this video so into the game we go let's see if this build works out as well as I hope it does so this is actually take two of this playthrough because the first time I got stuck in a corner thanks to my Federation members and couldn't expand at all and also forgot I wanted venerated as one of the traits for my species so that our leaders could live long enough to get all of the special bonuses later on so this is take two and so Begins the age of the church quite close to the center of the Galaxy so first of all we need to decide which way we're going to be be running away from all of our friends although we love them dearly they will block us in if given half the chance so obviously we want this Tropical World As We are from an ocean and then honestly just run anywhere towards the galactic center I think probably towards that nebula okay you are not a tried Empire neither are you fantastic that means I could put Branch officers down on my allies worlds as well later now in a second we should there we go be able to convert ourselves into the trade Federation we're also going to make some extra scientists and I'm going to do something I never really do and I'm going to stack them all up and manually control where they go the reason is I want to watch where my allies are sending their science vessels and preemptively S survive the different systems that they're trying to go towards the reason is if you just have them automatically survive they don't stack because it's well less efficient we don't care about efficiency we just care about rushing specific points we kind of want to grab this system and this system nice and early that makes it way more expensive for them to go towards the galactic center which means they'll probably both just naturally go south that way we have freedom of movement and I would like the extra research output from systems please that would be fantastic speak with us okay a few other things we need to do uh veneration of Science and then convert our world into a trade World giving us even more trade value and we definitely need new leaders so what we're after more than anything even though it's been nerfed is the politician trait the politician trait will increase the speed we can do the agendas sadly we completely locked out there but I did see something I want which is this for our home world I really want the trade Focus leader this will increase the trade value of our home world and any other worlds in our sector obviously very important since trade value is going to be our main engine throughout this entire run I mean look already we have plus 18 to our income of consumer goods and we're almost at 40 unity and most of this is coming from trade already we have just one single little Temple and we don't have the job yet which will give us even more trade value from that so we're back soon once we have that job and a few more things have actually happened it's going to be a lot of just rushing around for the next like 10 or 20 minutes there we are politician so the reason why we want politician is because we are going to be rushing agendas as fast as possible every time we launch an agenda genda it's going to give a little bit of experience to all of our council members in addition to the bonuses that the agenda actually brings itself things like departmental efficiency for instance is super important because it also increases the effective counselor skill meaning all these bonuses they give are increased as if the leader is two levels higher than they actually are which is really important since the next counselor position is the one which gives additional trade value and research to all of our priests you can see how that can be really stacked up now this was was really badly nerfed at one point the politician trait used to give 10% and 20% additional agenda speed now it's 5 and 10 so still not great but super fun and that's what we're going with and also statecraft gives you plus 25% by just being in statecraft which obviously is very very nice so a slight change of plan I have no idea why these fellows didn't grab the system but we just have so because we have some lithoids allies we can always have a migration treaty later which means these worlds become viable for us or we could just turn them into holy worlds I do have a soft spot for consecrated worlds it turns the world into a holy world which means you can't colonize it but it gives you a huge bonus to Unity and amenities throughout your entire Empire Council agenda available so right now our Unity isn't looking too great and that's because we just have so many leaders and they're all quite expensive you're a pretty useless leader aren't you I was hoping you get something else currently you're just there to upgrade this I'll be getting rid of you eventually well we have our first renowned Paragon and this is allar the spiritualist Renown Paragon so this is all about producing more Unity which obviously is great for us and actually there wouldn't be a bad leader either but I would much rather be leveling up my Ministry of State at the moment with trade focus and everything else especially since I want them to be an industrial list which will give us different bonuses later on plus I'm not actually going down the psychic route this game which is what allar really wants you to do so allar probably not a permanent leader here but they are also level four straight away which is great making our our astral Minister a little bit more powerful plus like all renowned Paragons there are potential events which might happen later o looks like we found some mercenaries we have hired a consultant okay so how is this leader then there you are Refinery focused geology expert I don't like either of those yeah additional TR okay I think we just kind of got very unlucky with the traits I know it's somewhat random and I think they can also be an advisor this one was not worth it no we're not going to be keeping you I'm afraid even though you're a decent uh leader just not for this build he everyone future lri here and as usual with these full playthroughs I'm just here to say a huge thank you to everyone watching and to say this video was an absolute pleasure to record honestly this build continues to be one of my all-time favorites now as usual as well sadly I do have to shield for the video because these longer videos can be absolute algorithm poison unless they get enough interaction comments likes and all that help out so so much and show these long form Stellaris videos as still two venerated worlds and one holy world which means we now have plus 20% monthly unity plus 10% amenities obviously eventually once we have loads of unity spare I'll keep rrolling to get them all into holy but that's fine that's still loads of additional Unity we're on almost plus 500 Unity already and we are about to finish off the third of our tradition trees in which we're going to do something a little bit weird and a few of you are going to scratch your heads about this we're not going down the psychic Ascension route we're not going down synthetic we're not going down engineered we're going down cyborgs the reason is and I don't even know if this is any good cyborgs have a trait which Stacks with Thrifty and gives you an additional 25% trade value which means your your populations who are cyborgs with both Thrifty and this trait give Plus 50% trade value which is an immense amount of trade value in addition to that cyborgs can be created using the normal robot building means and they're also a bit cheaper to sort out and everything else and it doesn't mess with the spiritualist uh faction as much obviously if you go down rout of synthetic Evolution everyone loses their minds they don't really hate this one now this is very similar to the DLC coming up which is a bit of a shame but I I've always wanted to try this combo out just doubling down again I'm saying that way too often but please bear in mind I've been playing for like an hour now and this video is probably like 10 minutes long so I'm not actually saying it that often You're The Crazy Ones so now we've unlocked the flesh's week you'd think I'll be trying to really Rush all the different texts to make cyborgs and although I'm going to kind of focus on it it's not going to be a complete rush because our Tech is so bad and most of it is in physics we can't really get the tech very easily however we now have the flesh's week the agenda form which is only half the cost of every other agenda I think it has a shorter cool down as well and still gives all that lovely experience to our people and every time we do that it will give us 25% of the tech needed for the next level of tech needed for cyborgs so we just keep on spamming that every time we can it helps to to level up our leaders even faster definitely want to go with that and it also gives us the tech without actually having any real research I am now finally building some research worlds but even now our Tech can to be very very slow what do I want here only grabb that rank one because the other options were awful so I really want particle focus on my researcher military Theory would be okay okay I'm trying to think of what tech we're going to have in the end game we have the crisis set to random so in my opinion military Theory and particles are the best because that gives you access to AR committers Cloud lightning bonuses and strikecraft which is universally decent it does also double down against the scourge and every time I've recorded lately it's been the scourge so let's play the odds I think a military Theory let's lock that in as well yeah thanks to our fanatically xenophile nature everyone kind of loves us now most Empires are a little bit stronger than us though we are staying equal to our Federation members and we are slightly stronger than this one over here so what I'm thinking is because of our super low Tech if we go with the prospect Orum they will accept and what they don't realize is I do not have enough Tech to actually give them this deal which means we simply don't pay it it's very cheesy but it's one of the benefits of not caring about research so I'm going to allow myself to be as cheesy as I want and I'm also going to spam some more Corvettes cuz I need more influence so the reason why we're as strong as we are is purely cuz our leader our Admiral is very powerful at this point he has loads of bonuses he's a decent level it's all pretty darn nice more investing please sech complete and there we have it so what I'm hoping to see in a second is that we can't afford to give them their teched will it happen oh no we can why are you so weak situ I know it's said I guess it is very early in the game and and our Empire is actually pretty good but still okay it's fine we're hardly losing aex we hardly had any to begin with anyway so that's fine the extra resources we're getting we can really improve our fleets everything else and we can start waging Wars against other Empires ah their home world this went boom they might explain why they weren't doing so great the II never uses that origin very well so you're a pretty weak one aren't you I also just lost my Ministry of truth because of that we grow ever stronger sure they lost some of their lives and they lost all of their income and their Heritage but I lost a building and it was shiny bloody mean our first Destiny trait and we're going to go oh honestly I'm tempted by a brilliant ship right there but I think I'm going to go great researcher plus 10% research speed will help out later although driven educator is also attempting an extra 25% experience gain for all of our leaders I do need that research speed though we're finally starting to build actual research worlds now and we should be able to make a new vassel fairly soon as well as you can see our economy is now flourishing plus 438 energy per month well that trade value is now finally really adding up it took a while but it got there beautiful okay so because of our economy being so strong we were able to hire a lot of mercenaries and our leader is about to hit level eight and get that lovely Shield of the Empire as well which means we we are now far stronger than we once were research complete our economy kind of exploded at like the 2,250 Mark yeah we can let them go now all they wanted was to make sure the collective joined us willingly and with that I would love even more influence please there we are our Minister of Defense now has Shield of the Empire increasing its evasion and fire R in Friendly territory by 45% and increasing the shield of every single ship in it Fleet by 300 which as you can imagine is quite a lot yep that's just rocketed up his Fleet power which means hopefully now you yes will understand that you want to be our bestest friend forever ooh can we make you our Tech Empire oh yes we can um okay can't get that any higher it's been a bit cheeky honestly even asking for that but kind of want more stuff yes and oh I've already maxed out investor yeah we're getting so much energy now it's actually kind of insane uh how much of our Unity is coming from trade it's kind of split between trade and jobs so either United Focus or reformer would both be great though I think the triade value will increase a bit faster now that we're leveling up our leader so quick I'll just do it evenly so for now I'll I'll do United Focus then reformer and then then United Focus [Music] again our Federation is now level four which means we're getting plus 15% trade value and because we're currently President we also have additional uh influence there we go some more envoys it's all rather nice stuff however I want this to be permanent for us so I have changed the vote we to diplomatic everyone was very happy to do that I've changed the succession type to 40 years so we can definitely maintain control will I choose this now let's see if this works we're going to set succession type to strongest now the other two members of our Federation who I've purposely kind of strangled a little bit aren't all that powerful but also are very against this but because we have diplomatic vote wise I am just about strong enough to overrule both of them so as long as I vote Yes there we go as long as I remain the strongest member of the Federation I will never not be president which also means I now have access access or should have access to the Federation Fleet lovely which has increased our Fleet power further I only just thought I can have our super leader in charge of the Federation Fleet that's going to be really good once it's up to its maximum we are now able to produce robotically which is a weird thing to say but either way we can now build our populations mining post to the waves things are starting to look better we're actually getting close now to 2 K Tech a month which is kind of insane with how little we had recently on top of all that we're stilling loads of unity so as soon as we finished off with cybernetics I'm going to start ascending all of our worlds our final tradition tree is probably going to be Harmony once again doubling down on the idea of everything else with the ascensions and once we get our new Civic slot that's also going to be the one which improves the power of ascending your worlds making them hurt less your Empire size and having more powerful effects which is really good with this one because the ecclesial Eccles I can never say this one ecclesiastical no I don't think that's right either Ecclesia the one with priests gives additional output and less upkeep your priests why can I not say this word ecclesiastical ecclesiastical is that I said it some I don't even know you know sometimes people ask me how bad my dyslexia actually is since I do read a lot for my job and this is one of those words which really showcases it at its absolute worst even now I'm looking at that and I cannot read it just the the middle there there's something about how that word structured it just blurs for me I keep on I keep on not seeing the c's for a start oh horrible absolutely horrible anyway it's a really good World type though and I absolutely love how powerful is we want to upgrade it cuz it makes our priest stronger Okay so we've just finished off cybernetics which means now we can upgrade our people a little bit more and where is it there it is trading algorithms increases trade value by 25% which I do believe Stacks with thy which is plus 25% what else do we really want our people to have uh we could have natural physicists we are getting a lot of physics research so sure and then maybe streamline protocols that decreases the Empire size from Pops which would be quite nice especially since now we're actually growing them quite quickly more research though would be awesome extra happiness there is so much stuff I want there I mean that's pretty nice right we don't really care about the energy upkeeper that the cyborg ones have but that's extra trade value extra research extra research okay and we're already on like 2,500 Unity now which is just fantastic fantastic our Federation Fleet is now over 100,000 Fleet power we are now heading towards 3,000 in both unity and research per month and the collective is finally seeing that oh maybe we should be even friendlier which is always nice to see I'm hoping that the the Consolidated worlds will also join us so we'll have a nice block of power over there they want to A Little Bit Stronger because remember a lot of our force is actually a lie it's purely in well it's not really a lie it's just we can only use it in defense because of Shield of the empire but as soon as we're strong enough for that doesn't really matter we're going to go to war with this small Federation up here which are both just two weak Empires so then a good third if not half of the uh Galaxy will be ours okay the prosperity preachers and now producing 7.5 triade value each in addition to almost five physics research and nine Unity we are now on 3,000 Tech per month which I know isn't the best but honestly considering we have almost no researchers that's pretty nice and it's all in physics research as well so our lasers are amazing but everything else is pretty poor our main Fleet is almost 200k now as well so we are definitely strong enough to hold our own against pretty much anything what's the problem there lack of trust how is it lack of trust you have loads of trust with us maybe I'll wait a little bit longer before trying this cuz I would like you to become Another Science one and right now I don't think that's really really going to be possible we finally have our last Civic slot so this is the one I'm thinking of planetary Ascension effects plus 25% Ascension cost minus 10% and tradition cost from Empire size might oh maybe we should have got that earlier to be completely honest potentially rather than Gospel of the masses no cuz that's increasing our trade value by so much franchising is nice less Empire size from Branch offices per level and also subjects exempt from divided patronage we do have a lot of vassals no I think this one for now it also gives a really nice Council position which is literally just increased Unity though there is things like this which is just increased trade value now let's again with the theme let's make a big cooporation okay so we still need the head of research we still need the ministry of Defense the new one rather than minister of state and then astral Minister okay also finally went ahead and now we have only holy worlds so that's plus 25% monthly unity plus 15% amenities human Prime I have never seen Saul become a hi mind before Oh that's just weird and with that Harmony is complete we have all of our tradition trees before 2,300 fully completed so I'm going to wait a little bit longer cuz what I would love is the archology project that's what our world is going to turn into these beautiful hens of just hundreds upon hundreds of priests and pretty much nothing else because again it's very funny after that we already have defender of the Galaxy we probably won't be able to do too much with mega structures we just way too light to that because again this is not a tech Brush by any means um I don't really know what I want for the last one but I definitely want the archology project so all we need to do is get the weather controls I think it's called the tech so as soon as I see that I'll be grabbing it so I've hired a few Consultants now they always seem to be the same in that they always appear to have the same um specialty which is a shame because I actually want them on the council but they're always going to be an industrialist this one is double oh God this one's even worse than ones I've had before so it seems like they're different traits are random except for the specialist one from being what they are but then they're always an industrialist okay I guess I'll do it at least once more please give me a good Leo who can just lead one of the other sectors and you are Factory focused again scrap is okay but Factory focus is terrible Well for now leave as it is because I wanted the Traer liaison because that also increases our trade value which is just fun everything's fun we finally have anti-gravity engineering it just wouldn't pop up for us but now we have the archology project which will cost 20,000 minerals per time along with 200 influence and will convert our world into a sprawling Metropolis of concrete pollution and faith we need more worlds eligible I thought there were actually more of them already okay you'll be eligible soon you need to have all of your districts either industrial or city before you can start undergoing the process so yeah we need to start just spamming districts get some of these ready to go so the archology project themselves the arcology worlds are absolutely fantastic they give a base increase to all resource gain they also increase population growth and I think it also increases um population construction as well so assemblies also increased in addition to having way more powerful districts we're about to lose like half of our Tech every month but we are already more powerful than these fellows the problem is because of their population they wouldn't accept any other type of vastization on the upside they are going to give us an immense amount of resources but for the next uh 60 months our Tech is going to be severely drained but once we convert them into what we want this is just beautiful so the orbital ring now has the orbital filing system which increases Unity from all of our fertility preachers we are now on almost 6,000 Unity every single month on top of that the Federation is getting very close now to being maxed out which means they'll get a plus 10% trade value and more damage versus the end game and of course it's just really nice to have a maxed out Federation oh and another plus 5% because of the trade treaties again the Federation is now level five just in time and with that we've also increased the size of our Federation Fleet once again so I'm going to spam some Federation Corvettes because that's the best way with the defender sorry the shield of the Empire we are on about about 400k Fleet power total now which is nice once we have enough influence I'm going to try and force these fellows to change their mind about what they are oh this is risky so if they don't accept sorry if they don't decline immediately there's a chance they don't have the influence to fully decline now I've been watching them expand over and over again to new systems so they've definitely been spending their influence oh God okay attch really needs to increase and this is why we need to to swap them into our Tech vassel not their current form which is taking atch they wish to speak with us come on accept I can't remember how long they have to decline but obviously they're waiting around to see if they can save up that's what the AI does please just accept the terms let me expand further into your brains py p with cherries well it took a long time but finally they accepted okay so we're on 6K Tech at the moment what happens after the month 10K perfect absolutely brilliant then later on I'll try and take even more of their Tech we're not going to be happy with this but I am over the moon myself and I would like some more influence please wow the Nerfs to research really are everywhere aren't they look at this one so rather than giving plus 10% it's only giv plus 5% and it also increases the upkeep of our researchers which again we have pretty much none of but still I can see why Tech builds having such a rough time right now our home world has finally become the AR world and isn't it beautiful and blue loads of bonuses there now we have all these extra districts so we can very easily make more priests in fact what we're going to do is yeah let that happen first then robot assembly plans finally on the home world and then I'll just build three of those straight away so each of these will give you 10 housing and six preacher jobs the preachers now are making so much resources beautiful so 19 Unity almost eight trade value almost seven physics research each it's not as brokenly strong as I thought it might be but I'm kind of happy with that because I just feel like I feel like I'm playing quite a balanced Empire but on the stronger side cuz I definitely made mistakes but I still feel like it wasn't exactly a difficult run to get to this point so we now pass 2,300 which means the end game crisis can arrive any time I'm not confident right now um although we do a lot of bonus damage versus them we have defender of the Galaxy and we're in charge of a Max rank Federation and as long as we stay in our own territory we'll be all right I'm not super super confident to be completely honest especially if it's the scourge since a lot of our bonuses are coming from Shields that being said we are now doing repeatables into laser damage while energy weapon damage so we would still be able to fight back offensively versus The Scourge but yeah give me another 10 years and I think I'll be okay so it all depends on luck at this point also the game is slowing down horribly I made the mistake of making this a large Galaxy I didn't realize I thought it was a medium lot like I normally play on I only just realized very recently when suddenly the days start taking a little bit longer than they used to thanks to Ascension Theory we now have all the Ambitions activated which is fantastic because that's going to increase our research speed how fast we build things everything's increased including how much influence we've got so we can finally start turning every everything into the archology project please endgame crisis leave me alone for at least 10 years that's all I ask let me have multiple of the archology worlds I beg of you and also our Federation fleet has skyrocketed and we're finally also now spamming out battleships we're actually getting ready for the end game I'm glad the end game crisis has been nice because of our slower research speed especially with the increased research cost despite our much lower Empire size we're not all that powerful but the enemies aren't here yet I am now finally retrofitting all of our ships to being the final design I'm also now researching the mega Shipyard so we should be able to make ships significantly faster once that's built I'll be building it right there right next to the home system okay more Rift research is currently going on we're now building the mega Shipyard in this system as soon as the construction vessel get over there the lag is real now also for some reason I didn't have an automatic Builder on so I have some dark matter and some minor artifacts just not being collected not that that matters mind you we are getting a lot anyway we just got another event giving us even more do I want to use this give us little mini Fleet no I think not for now we just need to upgrade our fleets so they're in their final versions and then start spamming battleships if we get another 10 years or when the mega Shipyard is up we should be good to go I think okay we're now hitting 17K research our research worlds are good our priest worlds are even more powerful and most of our research is in physics even so it's still taking a full year to do one repeatable which is way slower than that than I would have expected at this point in the game ready for action I'm still nervous but as long as they don't spawn on top of us whichever one attacks us we should be okay I am currently setting up my ships to be anti- Scourge because it's always bloody Scourge against me but it'll be very easy with the mega Shipyard to quickly retrofit everything into AR committers and strike craft if that's needed which is basically anti everything to at least some degree I didn't manage to get Cloud lightning though which is a little bit of a nuisance oh I'm going to go and get Cloud lightning I didn't realize for some reason I thought that one was an amoeba okay you go and take out that you yep to stay there waiting cool so we'll have Cloud lightning so we can swap to a complete anti-shield anti- armor build if needed behold the power of the crystal of a which was from one of the uh archaeology sites near home actually where was it it's the debris belt archology site it's one of the many ones we've finished anyway and it's kind of ridiculously powerful so what it does where was it did it even exist am I making up this archaeology site there it is the debris belt increases how many monthly rare crystals you get but also when you activate it you may notice it's giv me 363,000 energy which caps me out it's allowing me to do all sorts of weird bursty stuff when it comes to buying products our whole first sector is now undergoing the archology project or of course is already the archeology project I I need to upgrade the Rings as well but they're quite expensive 150h uh we're just spamming battleships from our two shipyards at the moment oh I didn't notice that okay lovely I'm just going to be really inefficient this time around I have been more efficient um throughout just right now I really want to get that 10K so we can get the mega Shipyard ready the mega Shipyard of course not only has loads of shipyards itself it also just increases the speed in which you build ships which is definitely something you want considering one of our leaders has a minus ship build speed which is so very annoying okay good to know we do seem to keep the bonuses from Shield of the Empire as long as we're in even vassel territory or Federation territory it is really just any friendly territory not our own so what I need to do is vassalize more I wasn't going to go to war because well the end game crisis can arrive anytime soon but I'm thinking about attacking the United States if we can't get the group over here to join us willingly they are now pathetic to us they were holding their own for a while but not anymore and although they do have a vassel which is those ones down there which would also join us with this they are kind of willing so how difficult would this bit oh okay then we're going to lose a bit of tech for a while but that'll definitely be worth it gaining the resources from these two empires as well to add to our own oh God the game's lagging out so much I should not have played on a large Galaxy I really thought I pressed medium but I was not paying attention there we go two more empires have joined our oh really one of you is a bull walk it's a bull walk that's giving me research you had a really weird setup of your bull walk fine that's fine that's actually worth it overall will help to offset the research from losing elsewhere okay and you are our new protectorate we're losing a lot of research there but we're also getting a lot of energy so we'll swap that out as soon as we can and make you well we going to stay as a protector at basically I'm just going to cut off your research fantastic okay what else we need to do is start building gateways then I haven't seen any other Empires build them which is kind of odd I guess that's the whole Tech difference at the moment even though it's on Max difficulty they're not seemingly wanting to do that probably should also build some hyper lines I only haven't so far purely because of the influence cost but let's at least connect ourselves to our vassels that also gives us a research bonus Oh I thought you would connect to at least there you don't you're our prospector you are our research so cancel what you were just oh it's going to be so annoying to do any of these okay you're completely cuss off aren't you from the Galaxy I didn't realiz wow we're really cut off this whole section is no wonder no one's colonizes middle bit yet you know what no let's just focus on building a Gateway first then we'll build a hyperline going out here I guess yeah that'll be the hyperline cool I mean that's beautiful a fully stocked Federation Fleet at a mega Shipyard is just really cool okay transgenic crops the cost of this here its base is 137,00 I'm just bringing up the wiki right now transgenic crops and the base cost is 50,000 that explains why the repeatables are now so difficult to complete even when I have such a small Empire size which I'm constantly hammering down using the power of unity wow yeah that new mode which I've enabled which makes um things scale of your difficulty really makes Tech expensive because there's the base then there's the Empire size increase so that's plus 26% giving the final cost of 173 that is incredibly brutal okay trying to force myself to become the galactic custodian so that we can make the Defense League the Defense League I can then have one of my super leaders in charge of I should have done that earlier but I've only just finally became a member of the galactic Council okay the end game crisis is really really late at this point and that's kind of great for us so right now we have well over a million Fleet power total and we are specialized in fighting The Scourge though if isn't the scourge we can swap over very easily to all the others we do now have have Cloud lightning after I destroyed the uh void Cloud over there so we'll be decent against anything honestly I'm more hoping it's going to be the unbidden the reason is although we are more designed for the scourge we do have the whole uh Shield of the Empire and I want to see if that plus 300 although there's not too much Shield really makes a big difference on the smaller craft can they eventually be able to survive a couple of hits from an endgame crisis that would be absolutely lovely now throwing down gateways in our allies territory we have now connected the hyper LS to our next door neighbor giving us a small research bonus I believe but either way even if that's not actually the case anymore the important thing is we can get there nice and quickly also our research is doing great especially in physics so many priests and because of our Unity Focus cuz remember we could easily I'm not going to say double our Tech we could have had a lot more Tech here but because of our Unity we've been able to keep on ascending our worlds over and over again and I am Empire size continues to fall at its peak we were getting an additional plus 45% cost to our Tech now it's only 24% this also goes for for the traditions and of course having a level 10 world comes with loads of other bonuses as well depending on that world type for instance our priest worlds are almost plus 50% to our priest's output which is really good and so we now have the galactic Defense Force at this point I'm not nervous about the crisis at all unless it happens to be the contingency within our own systems or the unbidden within our own systems yeah the scourge W be close to us so unless we have a tiny little the tiniest chance that something spawns right here in this little corner of the Galaxy I now convinced of our Victory oh that's lovely so this is from one of the different shroud the rift researchers and it's going to give us a plus 5% to our research speed in particles yay so normally well always now I play on Iron Man because I want to get achievements but also I want to make sure that obviously everything's above board I can't possibly use console commands that's all well and good um the problem is moments like this and I remember why I didn't use to play on Iron Man because I really want to spawn in the end game crisis now I just waiting around I have fleets in the half a million range now we have our new Fleet from the uh Galactic Community we have a federation Fleet and then we have loads of little hund sorry over 200k fleets and I'm now leveling up like a fourth Admiral since we have so much Unity G and so Little Empire size I can really spam with these as soon as they get to about here the agenda is then unlocked for me to just launch early I can just keep doing that over and over and over and over and over again it's very very quick to level up everyone at this this point and I'm just waiting our economy is doing better and better each year I'm now turning some of our worlds into proper Forge worlds if I can actually find one that' be great there we go and these are able to produce just endless amounts of Alloys and these are going to increase every single year especially since now I'm mostly focusing on the Federation and Galactic Community fleets which means they don't use up my Navy capacity it's all this waiting around at this point we grow ever which is a shame saying that again if the end game crisis happens to be the contingency in my territory it's still going to be a nasty fight so we'll see what actually happens bring it well I'm going to give it 10 more years and then I'm probably going to call it quits we are now in 2339 this is getting absolutely ridiculous and we're also about to pass now the the expansion on the galactic Defense Force which means that fleet's going to be just ridiculous well I do want to call this a full play through so I do want a more concrete end and thus we're going to proclaim the galactic Imperium if we do that then we are pretty much Victorious we're definitely at the strength level now with the Fallen Empires one of them's actually awoken and they are nothing in comparison to US yep they've been here this entire time just sort of sitting there sadly they can't do anything and the war in heaven didn't happen because we have spiritualists and yeah materialists and spiritualist neither of those woke up and those two would have caused a war in heaven but instead the xenophiles woke up and just kind of stood there so once I become the actually once I become the galactic Emperor we will lose our Federation which means we lose all of these bonuses how about instead we wipe out the Fallen Empires oh my God every single time okay I next time I know it's boring but I'm going to just manually choose one of the other crises you can do that in the difficulty selection thing so if you want to see unbidden or contingency please tell me in the comments below it has been the Subspace Echoes like five or six times in a row now on the channel one time I played Without recording it was the unbidden but every other time it's always the scourge okay then the scourge are about to arrive complete approaching the Rim where are you then okay close by but thankfully very close to where I've been setting up our gateways oh they're trapped in there ooh if we can somehow beat all of them here oh that'll be all of them at once that's not smart but it would be hilarious I didn't didn't realize this was choke point oh so is that so we can just go a little bit further back so shame is not our territory so we can't set up a Bastion as well we're doing a lot of bonus damage versus yam crisis remember we do have defender of the Galaxy which is plus 50% and then we do also have another plus 25% thanks to stronger together Can I by any chance do the um oh there is I resolution which increases damage as well but I think you can only activate it once the crisis has started am I correct or am I Incorrect and why am I apparently the only Galaxy who knows this thing like why the only Empire in the Galaxy rather I cannot talk so I'm trying to think well I'll have a look once they've spawned in obviously I'll try and Rush that if I can human Prime is so scared of course we accept their plea we are kind after all now where is what I'm looking for oh where is it then unless is it just part of being a uh Emperor can I not get it done without that I don't really want to become emperor is the thing it would massively hamper my economy which means I can't build our ships quite as fast well I can't find it if someone wants to tell me where it is then feel free to I think it's something like stronger together or something like that anyway which basically just let you do more damage versus crisis factions you wish to speak with us loads of them all came through at once maybe I should have got further back and wait until I started to split up that strike graft of course go first in a couple fall straight away oh yeah our coet will die that's obvious they're going to run in so it's all that if we can deal with this we can deal with the rest this is actually most of them all at once really shouldn't be using lasers we should have been using plasma cannons but I got that Tech a little bit light and I wasn't really thinking oh we need to hard count of the scourge because I didn't know what the crisis was at the time so I went with a bit more generalist okay yeah it looks like we're going to win this one wow that really was most of them that's over half of them was there then they really Doom stacked and regardless we melted them oh we lost so few battleships I thought we lost way more brilliant absolutely brilliant in that time we've almost made a new Fleet straight away yes so um a united front I don't know if I just missed that or not it's in a it's in um custodian reforms the top one okay the second wave is here thankfully all of them just attacked me at once these are the remainders of the first wave so now we have the six mil fleets of the second wave which although very very strong I'm a little bit less scared about though it is too many we are going to have to back off and as soon as I start splitting attack them I'm hoping we can Whittle them down then reclimb this area it is killing me have having to just white around right now as they split up every time they make a jump all my fleets are sitting here we've fully recovered from the last fights and it turns out I'm a dumb Dum and I had this massive Fleet with one of our super leaders not in the fight that's right 600,000 Fleet power admittedly mostly Corvettes but even so a lot of battleships as well was just Whiting around doing nothing seual booty glory to the church oh God the lag because of all of our Federation friends oh God okay I'm going to have to just zoom out right now yep they're getting absolutely pummeled how's athletes holding up absolutely no damage taken fantastic like I say because of all the point defense we're able to stop a lot of their damage oh they have called in some reinforcements which spawned in the I never understand if I use the hyper reliz or not sometimes they do sometimes they don't it's incredibly annoying I remember retreating is an option I really thought they weren't going towards us okay just run away from that fight that's fine we'll get most of our ships back anyway still took out one of their fleets that's the important part okay can you return Please home our fleets will be back when let's have a look see oh in like two months yeah hardly anything was lost then that was totally worth it we are now gaining 3,000 Alloys per month so we're actually able to recover all the losses very quickly there it wasn't actually as bad as it seemed and they've now started to finally split up properly so although they are taking way more space not like it's going to be a lot easier now to start attacking them plus they do have that tendency to start bombarding worlds once they start going over them so you you are going to start seeing them just kind of stop still which is nice oh so tempting to go for this Fleet here we're not quite fully repaired yet right okay once everyone's repaired at least then we'll jump we do now have that other Fleet which wasn't in the fight joining us a united front is now active giving the us an additional plus 20% damage to the crisis give them a broadside being a lot more careful now we just took out three fleets this will be a fourth and we've been fighting them one at a time so although it looks pretty bad at the moment it's actually looking pretty good that that's going to be four of their major fleets all removed then there's only this one small one there and one large one and then all of this is pretty much undefended yeah they're all down there then so we can quickly mop up this section and then just follow them along and just be a bit more careful about about it the really big groups like this that have the least amount of the tiny ones do the least amount of damage to us yep we're all still 100% health and the enemy is just about to vanish I think I lost one Battleship at the end there a no none never mind okay then let's push forward and take out that construction vessel and we should have have some ground forces ready lovely let's start landing on these worlds before they get completely infested okay I think that's all of the Guardians in this top section dealt with so we now have the option to either start clearing some space or trying to hunt down their fleets a bit more proactively I think for the time being I would love if at least this area was just cleared so I'll be careful to watch this Fleet make sure there's no enemy fleets nearby and just reclaim all of this nice and quickly we take out their stations incredibly fast so this shouldn't take too long well things are going a lot better now though it doesn't look right down here they only have I think five or four active fleets total yep they have one full fleece over there two of the large ones and then one damaged first wave fleece so we can now completely mop up this we've actually been careful now and we've been attacking things on our own turf and I've lost almost nothing we're now making almost plus 5,000 Alloys a month cuz I've been converting our worlds into Foundry worlds sorry Unity sorry Tech but yeah that's all we want right now because honestly we just need more ships that's all we need so now I'm going to go out collect all of this back for us and send our Ground Forces wherever I can let's see if we can save some worlds before they're fully devoured our Landing party is reach well this is going to be a very very ungraceful fight but this is the very last of the scourge forces I've destroyed every other Fleet we've taken back all of this territory yep they have no infested worlds either in this area we just captured The Brood Queen so we are now the scourge just would like to clear up those two then move here they still counts as friendly territory oh the arbitrators own it well the arbitrators are friendly so that doesn't matter at all a moments ago they tried to form a federation with us the Defenders of the Galaxy but it doesn't really matter too much because they won't be strong enough to break through the scourge defenses which means they're going to be permanently friendly with us all we need to do is move our Fleet here and that's the scourge trapped forever I would think it's a shame it's not going to be friendly territory that we control but I believe it still counts as friendly territory while we're there I'll have a double check actually no what am I doing um my fleet do not go there and defend their territory move one off one of my ground forces how expensive would that be not that expensive okay so the scourge will eventually run through again and take out the system then we climb it and quickly build our star base and build a citadel in its place I'm also not even building fleets at the moment because we hit such a uh well as you can see I'm massively over our Navy capacity so because of that it's just too expensive so right now I'm just saving up Alloys in case we lose our fleets that's the plan as soon as we have the Citadel fully defended there then we are pretty much done I mean really we are done now but i' would like to have a more permanent finish the first of our animals not to have Shield of the Empire master gunner is definitely what going with extra weapon range the station is being built I'm going to push forward one more system just to make sure the scourge don't interrupt our building and then we're pretty much finished give them a broad so a few fleets will spawn in and we have the entire galaxy here with us because we are the custodian we are currently in a crisis situation I have my fleet set to try and encourage people to follow us and the entire galaxy is basically following us which is pretty darn nice along with all of our vassels we were always there and our Federation members so our station is just being built now we're going to have a shipyard and a gun battery to begin with a bit more health and also the ability to create and upgrade add designs and then most importantly a Communications Jammer which will slow down enemies in the system which means it takes longer for them to get into range of us allowing us to Pelt them with our size X weapons and all of our strike craft meanwhile I am building a Gateway at the very very edge of this system really I think once the Gateway is done then there's no chance The Scourge will ever break through though I also don't think they'll break through The Fleets anyway but again it's just nice to have the certainty before we end it it be faster to just wipe them out but I always find this way more enjoyable okay three fleets killed all at once fantastic that just proves that yeah they're never getting through now so we have the star hold we'll upgrade it to a star Fortress very soon we're going to add a Target Uplink computer which increases firing range for the defense platforms and the star base itself we're added well we have added the communications Jammer so things are now slower and in just a moment the Gateway will be fully online just 140 days to go go with the lag getting worse I'm going to call it here we are permanently the galactic custodian no one can get through to fight The Scourge because they can defend themselves and we have taken over pretty much 2/3 of the Galaxy our economy is ridiculous our research is ridiculous and the true faith has produced over 2 million Unity everything is as it should be through capitalism and faith we have conquered all we desired so with that thank you so much for watching this was an incredible fun experience and yeah Tech is so so much harder to come by with those settings now enabled I didn't realize just how much more expensive everything was near the end over twice the original price if you're on maximum difficulty and you have the new modifier set to just normal and that can be more brutal and that's the default setting for it I don't know if I'm going to use it in the future it was actually nice to have a bit more difficulty near the end I still think vassel spam is way too powerful I shouldn't have gone so extreme with it man maybe but it was still really fun to do that I absolutely love this build even if it didn't quite turn out as meta as I would have really hoped it was still probably my favorite build which I've experienced at the moment in the current version of the game and we'll see just what happens when the new DLC hits don't worry I will be covering that as soon as I get my grubby little hands on it and well that's going to be some glorious machine a shenanigans maybe a true machine cult or just synths who knows I'll see you in the next video thank you so much for
