Spartan ATC AR500 Armor vs COMBLOC Weapons

welcome back everybody this is Eric and Chad here for most pawn and gun and today we're going to find out what happens when you shoot comm block weaponry it body armor a lot of you guys have been wondering hey you know what about seven 62 by twenty five Tokarev what about 7.62 by 54r it out of like a PSL or druggin off you know what about an ak-47 round you know what does body armor look like when it gets hit by those types of rounds well we're going to find out you know we're going to this is going to be a fun video we're going to be doing today the armor we're going to be using today is Spartan armor and their advanced triple curved plate we've already done a full review on this armor if you're curious about checking it out just scoot on over there and check out that video if you haven't seen it yet level three armor rated for rifle threats up to 308 well in the previous video we were just mainly showcasing the anti spalling capabilities of that particular armor against pistol threats probably should perform very very well it did it did there's also another thing that we want to talk about is their extreme concealment platform carrier and basically chat's wearing it right now or is he show them real quick so these guys make a concealment platform that's really low profile and it's designed to wear every day so for some of you guys that have high risk jobs or you know say you're I don't know a security guard or some type of you know armored car driver or let's just say you expect that threat level in your everyday life concealable armor is not a new thing but i think that it's kind of really kind of making a comeback it is and this is the AR 500 or is an inexpensive option and this this carrier is really low profile and it is fairly lightweight I mean considering it's really not bothering me that much you got armor on front and back yeah so I'll tell you what I mean you know chata is conveniently wearing the armor already I've already got my cz 52 right here four seven six to about 25 won't we just get to work here man quit let's do it you ready dude I guess you really think I was going to let Eric shoot me did you 7:6 to buy 25 out of assisi 50 to combat distance here we go one more mag what's slamming it you can really hear it hitting that plate here we go alright let's see what happened alright well we had a little little rain of 762 by 25 lead come down on old Rosco here our Chad set in this glasses there go ahead and have a list here I think we all know where this is going to end up okay look at that anti spalling coating did its job alright it captured everything just like it was supposed to now guys this is a level 3 plate so we knew this was going to happen so what we're going to do is uh you know I've always been curious to know what happens when you get hit with a rifle round at kind of long-range so we're going to hit it with 762 by thirty nine out of a ten and a half inch barrel at 300 yards I've got this little pop down here set up pretty nice we're going to shoot it and then we're going to slam on Rosco here at the PSL see how he does let's get to it alright guys we're going to launch them 70 62 by 39 m67 ball at old Rosco down there he's 300 yards away this is a 10 and a half inch barrel you go m92 PAP pistol with the century arm brace on it we got a 40 round Bulgarian magazine I've done a little bit of gunsmithing work on this thing and added a little section of rail right here on the top and we got a vortex razor three minute red dot on there let's see how she runs I'm going to have Chad help spot for me here alright let's shoot him ready send it how we're looking one more time you're a little high in to the left I see left yep bring your point of aim down there you go oh I heard that just right just right there you go we own him yeah just keep the same point of aim we own him you're on them you're all around him you're hitting to the right to the right high right there you go you're all in there hit oh yeah oh yeah definitely in there that little tin and a half inch barrel of a que Det play around for the most part you know once you get the idea where your point of aim is you know it it's a red dot with the ten and a half inch barrel but let's go see how Rosco fared I'm curious alright guys with a little tin and half inch Pat there I've always been curious to see what kind of accuracy you can get out of one at long range I think that gives you a general idea you know that they're fairly consistent but you know they're not going to be a point you know target weapon like you'd really you know think we probably landed about ten shots on on Rosco here okay some of our misses drifting around but that m67 ball you know fairly consistent for what it is most people probably won't shoot a standard a k out of 300 anyway I was just curious to see what would happen with with that particular that particular loading alright let's check out our plate oh yeah well we had a couple of hits looks like two there one there the 7.62 by 39 hits you can certainly tell the difference I mean it makes a you know one nasty little area there spalling coating doing its job we don't see any type of spalling trying to get out of the carrier so that's doing its job it is beginning to dilemma Nate a little bit I'll tell you what RAK was giving us a little bit of a hard time hitting them consistently but I've got a gun that I promise you I'm going to jackhammer him every single time with let's go back up the hill and hit him with PSO all right guys enough of these Mickey Mouse guns we're going to step up to the PSL 7 62 by 54 rimmed we're out in Bulgarian silver tip 147 grain steel core ammunition let's see how Roscoe holds up to this one more time all right bring your hole to the right about a minute bring it over a little more to the right yep you're hitting just to the left there you go bring your hold up just a little bit there you go yep oh yeah we're going to keep hitting them run it I'm going to shoot this corrosive ammo through this thing you might as well make it worth my time right and put him in the same hole oh yeah one more why not I think we're queueing in my new one aren't we I say sir all right last mag we're gonna go have a look the favored and slightly low run high right there you go I think slams and Etna be curious to see what that one hole looks like you stack probably ten rounds just about in one hole really and at 300 mm-hmm I think that makes up for the slight lack of performance for our little vacay there doesn't it oh yeah let's go to look yeah let's go stretch your legs have a look here all right guys I think we've proven that you know once you break out the non Mickey Mouse guns step it in 30 caliber realm things start to really get hairy here I don't think Rosco did too well but then again he might have survived let's have a look here little PSL shooting really good wasn't it that gun whoo it's a frightful sight you do not want to get shot by that damn thing up look at that that's what's left of a steel core oh and it's still hot let's see all right well that 147 light ball is nothing to play around with a great little cartridge all right here we go oh well oh I get low oh yeah he lived and you saw where I was stacking those rounds from that PSLE and that's that's armor-piercing a steel core ammo is still hot in my hand and look at that that steel cord it and penetrate just flattened out deflected anti spalling coating did its job on this ATC plate we stacked all those rounds in one spot not a so that's impressive you know I can't think of anybody that want to stand around and just get shot or anything like that of course we're not going to insult anyone's intelligence on that but that's really cool I'm very impressed with the result there that we got and I tell you what you know the advanced triple curved plate certainly a neat system you know level three protection you got your lightweight carrier here you know for concealed ability you don't have to put a big heavy plate in it if you don't want to if you wanted to run some you know soft armor or something something much more low-profile that's fine too but the little carrier did its job didn't get chewed up too bad we didn't get any anti spoiling break through the top and her told Rosco looks like he might have caught just a little bit of the chin right there but I mean that could have even been from another test you know before whatever but uh certainly not bad we hope you guys enjoyed this video we are going to get that PSL out for another review because that thing earlier we were shooting hundred-yard groups at that dang thing and it was literally just stacking them in one hole made it is so accurate just a
