did they know it in what form was their searching or in what form was it presented in what form was it prevent presented on in what form was there searching hebrews chapter one verse one tells us sundry times and diverse matters sundry times and diverse manners the word diverse manners is the word polytropos polytrophos that is a portion of it or a part of it or partial revelation partial revelation meaning that the prophets never had a full view the only other part had a part of it that means they had many sides to something so they had different sides of the truth they never had a full view of the truth so what is available from the prophet including abraham is just a part of the truth is just a part of the truth none of them had the complete truth an interesting part is that you're going to see it in symbols this portion of the truth that the prophet had you're going to see it in symbols you're going to see the part that they got to know in types and shadows symbols types and shadows you're going to see the part of the sufferings of christ and the glory that follows in a figure of speech figure of speech you will not see the word of god literally in the prophet no in those books you will only see the word of god in a type of it not literal and not the essential truth in types shadows symbols and figures of speech so now get back again to hebrews chapter one verse one please pay attention i beg of you hebrews chapter one verse one god at who at sundry times and in diverse manners speak in time past unto the fathers by the prophets god who at sundry times well that's that's funny because the the way the greek is written you never start a statement with god the way they read the greek language is written you never start a statement with god so obviously it is the king james translators who put god first but it will appear like god spoke in types and shadows and god never speaks in types and shadows and then it will appear like after he spoke in types and shadows then now he speaks again in his song you see that that's the way it will appear which cannot really be accurate because that will contradict all that we have been learning you know since prophet were the ones speaking in partial revelation we did that study if you remember when i did a teaching on the law and the prophet season 1 and season 2 the old and the new covenant in christ the 10 verse 11. now all these things happen unto them for examples and they are written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come upon whom the end of the world are come so last days or end of the world refers to the day of christ where jesus would say abraham saw my day and he rejoiced to see my day which day last days what our last days the finished work of christ the redemptive you know the redemptive plan of god the close of time it refers to the close of a period or an event that closes the period so the last day is speaks of an event or the last days refers to the event of christ's sacrifice a conclusion refers to the event of christ's sacrifice or a conclusion last day is his last days of the promise of god last days of the promises of god or the fulfillment of the promise that god gave last days means the fulfillment of the promise that god gave please pay attention that god gave that's what the last days refers to so the last day is confidently begun at redemption the redemptive sacrifice of jesus was the beginning of last days it was to close up this period or the fulfillment of the promises that god gave look at acts chapter 2 verse 16 please pay attention acts chapter 2 verse 16 but this is that which was spoken by the prophet joel next verse that it shall come to pass in the last days saith god it shall come to pass in the last days saith god i will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh last days i will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh when in the last days which was upon his resurrection because it is when he rose from the dead that he shed 40 spirit so the last days is from the redemptive sacrifice of jesus the close of a period where promises were being awaited the fulfillment of that promise is called the last days or the day of christ which abraham saw ahead of time notice that in the prophecy of joel the word last days was not there it is it shall come to pass afterwards joel 2 28 it shall come to pass afterwards joel 2 28 it shall come to pass afterward that i will pour out my spirit upon our flesh but when peter was making reference to that text in acts chapter 2 because that promise had been fulfilled he called it last days because last days is the fulfillment of god's promise or it is a period of the redemptive sacrifice of christ so in the last days therefore it refers to the redemptive sacrifice of jesus that means the close of the age began to be consummated by what jesus did the close of the age began to be consummated by with what jesus did so last days to us is a time of the glory of god last days to us is a time of the glory of god last days to us is a time of the forgiveness of sins last days to us is a time when redemption and the free favors of god are bounded to mankind last days to us is a time of the sacrifice of jesus so when he says has in this last days it refers to the sacrifice of jesus hebrews chapter 1 verse 2 again hebrews chapter 1 verse 2 again have in this last days spoken unto us in his song whom he hath appointed heir of all things by whom also he made the walls amen go back to first peter 1 11 again first peter chapter 1 verse 11 [Music] searching what or what manner of time the spirit of christ which was in them did signified when he testified beforehand the sufferings of christ and the glory that shall follow next verse unto whom it was revealed that not unto themselves but unto us they did minister the things which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the holy ghost sent down from heaven which things the angels desire to look into unto whom it was revealed please pay attention and if your bible is mine that is a place to underline in verse 11 unto whom it was revealed so that means what was on the lips of the prophet was what the gospel what was in the lips of the prophet was the gospel because that is what they were prophesying to the fathers the gospel the gospel was what was in the lips of the prophets whatever they did or said searching what manner of time the spirit of christ was about us it was about us the search of their hearts will culminate or end in these days what they were searching and seeking for was going to culminate in the day of jesus which is the day of the new creation the day of the born-again man that is it will be brought to a conclusion that is it will be explained in the last days whatever they were seeking for just like moses in first corinthians chapter 10 moses's rock was christ moses's water was christ moses's food was christ when we said the rock was christ it doesn't mean jesus was a rock in the old testament what it means is that the message behind the rock was christ the rock was a mode of communicating christ the water was a medium of communicating christ the manner from the sky was a medium of communicating christ why sundry sundry times diverse manners partial truths partial truth that is why the mode of communication could not bring the entire truth because it was mediums types shadows symbols what they were limited and that is the best that they could communicate to the fathers as prophets that's the best they could so behind the types and shadows was a person christ was that message so he is the message of the prophet christ is the one that the prophets were searching for so he said they spoke unto the fathers by the prophets so we said that the fathers are also prophets yesterday and the prophets are also fathers okay all the prophets were mentioned in hebrews chapter 11 you know even though he didn't mention all of their names but he mentioned moses and all them prophets one after the order including abraham the first prophet so the spoken types and shadows all of them the prophets in hebrews 11 1 he now says hebrews 11 1. now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen the evidence of things not seen that means whatever they were declaring was in hope all that the prophets were saying to the fathers searching and seeking through their prophecy was in hope the substance of things hoped for so their prophecies were pregnant with hope for the day of christ it was pregnant with hope whatever they were saying did not happen in their time what they did was that they received it in a promissory note a promissory note they receive what god will do in christ in a promissory note and they declare those things what they received they now declared it by the spirit of prophecy they received what god will do in a partial revelation then they now declared it by the spirit of prophecy to the fathers he says in verse 3 of hebrews chapter 11. hebrews through faith we understand that the words were framed by the word of god so the things which are seen we are not made of things which do appear the things which we are seeing we are not made of things which do appear that means you will see an animal but that animal was not the message itself that means you will see a rock but that rock is not the message in itself that means you will see isaac but isaac was not the message in himself that means you will see the arc of noah but that ark was not the message in itself that means she would see blood on the doorpost but that blood was not the message in itself all right now so they were made of things which do not appear so you are seeing isaac but isaac is not the message the message is not seen with the physical eyes the message is a revelation behind the object are you with are you me yeah the message is a revelation behind the object now we have been work looking at abraham there's no time any one of us in the bible we've been called to be like abraham no such place in the bible where we are all called to be like abraham i want to be like abraham you know many people are trying to be like abraham they even teach tithes from abraham tithe you didn't hear that i want to repeat it tithe from abraham in case you think is tight like tightening something i spell it t-i-t-h-e tight from abraham i don't teach tithe i used to till i saw the truth i don't teach tight but i teach about the tithe see i don't take tithe but i teach about the tithe and i do not teach that christians should pay tithe but i'm not going to stop a christian from giving tithe i'm not going to stop you but i do not teach it if i stop you i'm contradicting what i'm teaching because if i say do not give tithe i'm contradicting what i'm please listen carefully so you don't say what i'm not saying you better listen carefully now dr daminas change his position no media so if you say your own i can defend myself and push it everywhere right now what i'm saying is i cannot stop a christian from giving tithe because tight means tent tight means tent i can't say if you want if your generosity is ten percent i cannot say don't give you a ten percent that is the level of your generosity or the revelation of your stinginess okay that out of hundred percent when you imagine the work of god and the goodness of god the space your heart can create for god is ten percent it's a revelation of your stinginess because if people under the blood of goats and animals we are faithfully giving ten percent then somebody under the finished work of christ which day without us could not be perfect you two are struggling with them within the maya of ten percent then it's either you are stingy or you have not yet understood anything because to whom much is given much is expected you see that and and that's the revelation of the new testament the revelation of the new testament destroys self it makes you selfless the revelation of the new testament brings out of you an expression of extravagant love the same way you receive from god is the same way you release to the brethren that's what this revelation does that's what it does and a lot of persons think we're advocating stinginess but they don't even know that they are the ones advocating stinginess we are actually the ones advocating extravagant giving because how do you box christians within the confines of 10 percent with the love of god shed abroad in their hearts by the holy ghost how do you limit that now i have to explain that because that's a very key issue in the body of christ till tomorrow and we need to be very clear about our position there now so i cannot stop a christian from giving tight because if i do that it contradicts what i'm teaching if i say do not give tithe i contradict what i'm teaching you didn't hear me i didn't say pay tithe i didn't say pay i said give you oh god nothing you don't oh god he loved you without any condition he died for you without any condition therefore your response to him is not paying something it is coming out of a generosity born out of understanding that god has been good to me and there's no reason why i cannot be extravagantly responsible for his mission on the earth am i communicating at all now what i'm teaching is in line with the polite revelation is to give as you have proposed in your heart new testament giving as you have proposed in your heart so you can decide in your heart to give ten percent or five percent or fifty percent or everything in acts of the apostles people saw lands and houses and brought everything why new testament nobody paid tithes in the book of acts in the entire transitioning of the church as low as they were in revelation with all their cross testamental application that is one application they never carried over they never carried over tithing never because the first thing the love of god does to a man is that your heart is taking over your heart except you don't know what it means to be born again except you don't know who christ is to you that is when you will be counting father i give you you give me if i give you don't give me i will not give again until the day you give me no you are not in a relationship you are in a transaction you are in a business you are not in a relationship with god because if you're in a relationship with god it's not about i give you you give me it is about you have given me all that i ever needed there's nothing i can ever do that would body of christ that is still making noise somewhere holy sugar you can choose to give 10 percent but do not give it according to abraham or moses you didn't hear that do not give it according to took tithe no apostle received tithe jesus never received tithe no apostle paid tithe no apostle none of them and the church is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets jesus himself the cornerstone that means what the apostles never did and what jesus never did we are not supposed to do but they gave generously brother paul said you gave once and again people we are giving radically look at the church in macedonia in their deep poverty yet the liberality of their generosity abounded paul said not as we hoped but this they did they gave themselves to us i mean to god and to us they gave they gave and gave everything in the depth of poverty people are radically giving why they're in love with christ there's no prosperity preacher that can get people in deep poverty to give like that it only takes the love of god in the hearts of men friends i can tell you the truth of the matter when people come face to face with jesus money loses value and until you reveal jesus to people you can't take their money even if you take it you can't go free with it because they will chase you they will chase you you promised of seven things that will follow that offering i have not seen one i'm still waiting it becomes a legalistic relationship and god wants it to be free of free relationship am i communicating here tonight we are not asked to look unto moses we are asked to genesis as a result of a vision because when genesis happened moses was not born moses was born in exodus chapter 2 verse 2 but then all of genesis was gone so in order for moses to write genesis it means god gave him a vision now in a vision there are figures of speech there are metaphors and sometimes when you narrate a vision it is not in sequence because you just narrate it the way you remember it that is the way moses wrote in the book of genesis and then of course you must remember that moses had to employ the language that was available to explain what he saw so when you look at genesis you can get the explanation of genesis from genesis you get the explanation of genesis from the new testament because the entire old testament is mystery the new testament is revelation so when god says let us make man in our image it was moses seeing that out of god will come out a man out of god will come out a man so moses already saw in the redemptive plan of god god becoming a man to die for man and the spirit of god coming in to live in a man which is a concept of the trinity which is a concept of redemption so when moses was writing he wrote with that at the back of his mind if you observe genesis 1 1 and 2 he said the spirit of god moved upon the waters so moses already know that there will be the spirit of god you already know that there will be jesus you already know that jesus is the father he already had all of that so in his communications he spoke as if god was talking with other gods but it was god talking with himself it was adonai said to yahweh that's the way david would put it the lord said unto my lord adonai said to yahweh they pray incarnate say to the incarnate sit on my right hand so that is the way moses communicated that the writings there in the book of genesis explained to us by the new testament genesis chapter 3 you know when you see what genesis chapter 3 was after the fall of adam now adam didn't have everlasting life adam had you know adam had humorous human life but adam was to make a choice between christ and death and adam chose death and adam died so even though he died he was still moving because it was not physical death it was spiritual death but before then he was neither mortal nor immortal awaiting his choice so when he made the choice he became mortal if he didn't choose death if he had chosen life he would have become immortal so that choice was going to determine the destination and that is why even the gospel today it is your choice that determines eternal life or eternal damnation and then the angels were asked to to protect the tree and turn man towards the way of the tree of life so that's what happened in the book of genesis so moses was born in exodus moses wrote jesus genesis so by vision he saw
