I'm having a fantastic day. I don't know why that sounded sarcastic, I'm actually having a
fantastic day because today we've got a nother
puzzle from Will Strebos. Will Strebos of course you know
from the lotus puzzle video, also the I believe the telephone puzzle. Will is known not only his
very extremely difficult puzzles but also the high
quality metal craftsmanship on these babies. Before we take a look at that,
I just want to say something I was streaming on Twitch
recently, by the way, if you don't check me out
on Twitch, feel free to come hang out, I usually stream
a couple times a week, hang out, answer questions
and just play video games. Anyways, we were talking,
I asked a few of you if you'd like to have
any recommendations for the holidays in terms of maybe
a little bit of a gift guide, puzzles and playing cards. Well, you're in luck 'cause
right now during the holiday season two things are going on. One, Puzzle Master is having a sale on these six metal puzzles. So you get all six of these. They range from levels from
intermediate to very difficult. Most of them are take apart
and put back together puzzles but you also have this
trick lock which I have not yet tried, which I
will be doing basically a lock and key puzzle. These are great to put under
the tree or to fill stockings. I know a lot of you ask me you know, where do you get your puzzles? Where do you buy them? Puzzle Master's where I
get most of my puzzles, 90% of them and they have
this sale going on right now for these six metal puzzles
so if you want to check out some cool and challenging
puzzles over the holidays, nothing better than to stay
inside on a snowed in day and try to figure out some

of mine are also having a winter sort of sale,
they're selling mystery decks and mystery decks is just that. You purchase one of these
mystery decks and you will get a brand new custom
playing card deck and you don't know what you're going to receive. Now it could be anything
from a deck worth up to you know, hundred dollars
to a deck that just came out or to a deck that is not longer in print including 1st playing
cards, they have a few 1st playing cards that
they're throwing in there so if you want to
surprise someone or maybe even yourself, go check this out. I left the link below to the mystery decks where you can and they
already come wrapped so you can throw, ow, my foot. They already come wrapped
so you can throw em under the tree as is, it's
up to you, check it out. Alright enough of that, let's
get in to today's puzzle. This is a four piece metal jigsaw puzzle. Now I've never solved a
jigsaw puzzle on this channel, I have put together jigsaw
puzzles in my youth. This one strike me as a bit more strange because it only has four pieces. Now you're thinking to
yourself, how hard could this possibly be to put together or take apart and put together if it
only has four pieces and that's exactly what I'm thinking. I have no idea. I haven't toyed with it. The pieces do shift around a little bit but I haven't pushed them too far because I wanted to save it for the video so I don't know what to expect. Apparently it is pretty
difficult and knowing Will Strebos, it, probably gonna swear. But regardless, this looks
like a beautiful little puzzle to keep on the shelf and
the fact that it's only four pieces really,
really peeks my curiosity so let's have a look at
this puzzle right now. Look at this thing. It's just a little, tiny
puzzle, of course it's easy. Except it doesn't come apart. Oh, that's interesting
so it stays stuck here. Okay hold on so. Maybe both silver parts need to come out. And then this one, oh
see this one's free now. And then okay we gotta start again. Both silver parts, K
one silver part's out. One, this is so weird
'cause they wanna come apart but then they don't. K, silver part's out, look at that, there's a gap there. That is out. Let's bring the camera in a bit closer. Okay, much better, stop
moving, much better. Okay. I don't understand why
they don't come out. It's almost like, okay so
this one exits that way, this one has to exit
this way I guess, correct but that one's blocking
this one from exiting so and this one also has to, so
they only exit one way each. Oh, I see, that's interesting. Oh. Boom. And then obviously exits that
way and this exits this way, okay so not too, not too, too difficult but you do have to like
kinda figure it out because they only go in
one way and so I guess these sides are a little
wider than this side, which is why you couldn't
put it in this way, you could only put it
in that way but I guess the challenge being here
is how to get everything back to the way it was. You have to go here and then this, oh God, okay, it's one of those it's a little bit harder to put back together, I'm assuming 'cause you can't just put em in, oops, you can't just put em in straight. See like these three
pieces but then this one, it doesn't work because it goes in here but it doesn't go out on this
side so it has to somehow enter here, there you go. Boom. Wasn't too hard at all, you
know, while we got time, let's take a look at,
let's take a look at that little lock puzzle while we're on it. This is actually a lot of fun. Little harder than I thought
but not too, too difficult, kind of fun to fidget around with. Let's take a look at the lock puzzle. So this is a little level seven lock, which I mentioned at the
beginning of the video you can pick up at Puzzle
Master, let's try to figure this out, looks simple enough. So on the inside here, you
can see, I can rotate this pin and when I rotate it, it opens a keyhole, which I imagine no, K. Maybe the other side? There's two sides of this keyhole. Hold that still. No, upside down, no. I'm thinking maybe
there's like some unique way of putting this key in there. It's like this is stuck here now. Why is that stuck? This pin seems to now be
stuck in this position, I don't know how to unstick it. Oh weird, so there used
to be one notch here and now there are two? I don't know if the
camera can pick that up, there were like two little
notches on the inside of that, which makes me believe that
this, that's really interesting, this doesn't pop off,
this is actually rotates so you just gotta rotate it so maybe you put it back to the key thing then we put the key in and then we rotate? No. Why? There's something I'm
not seeing right now, whether it's on the key or whether it's on the lock, there's gotta be some, some
hidden message somewhere, the only clue I have are
those two, little nibs there that stick out on this ring. Oh, oh, oh, you clever,
clever little thing. Turns out, this was a decoy. This key serves no purpose
in solving this lock. You, red hearing. So it turns out here,
let's try to put this back, yeah, there we go. You have to, see if you turn it here, where the key, where you're
supposed to put the key in, which is what you would
think, it won't open but as soon as you rotate
and make it go away from the hole that's there, now it opens and then closes once again. But now I still see two
notches, I'm just trying to get this thing closed. There ya go. That's how this thing
opens, not using a key but using your brain matter. Ugh. Like I said, those are available in stock at Puzzle Master, you can check em out, these are actually, this is good fun, this is something that
would challenge a lot of beginner puzzlers, if you gave em this because automatically instinctively, you're not looking for a decoy, you think this key has
something to do with it, so you're thinking of just like I'm doing, like banging it, spinning
it, all this stuff and turns out no, turns out
you just have to ignore this and just use this instead to unlock it. Not disappointed. Alright guys, there you have it. I mean definitely more
difficult than I anticipated, fun little puzzle none the less, this is something that's
a lot of fun that you can just leave on the coffee table because a lot of people will just
come over and be like, oh, this looks east and then wha bam! It isn't. Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed
