S.M.A. Car Give Away #payitforward

alright guys so I am here with Amber and as requested we're gonna go through the process of looking at a used car in amber here is the one in the market for a used car a little bit of back story single mom works going college oh yeah going to college needs reliable transportation or current cars it's a Dodge you know more on that Chrysler Dodge it's all the same so I'm gonna show her this 2010 Ford Fusion we have go over just kind of a few things on the car shore what I think is good about the car and how I think it'll help benefit her so usually if I'm looking for use power on this kind of overall you know glance it over and see if it's rusty [Applause] [Music] things already it's something that you know I even want to look at I can play a little bit about this part what we've done so this car actually because I know the history on this car came from the auction it was a New York car up in Syracuse when we got it i as always we always like to kind of go through them and make sure everything's good so this one we've already put four brand new snow tires on it all the way around the front brakes were like brand new what we got is we left them on there the back brakes work more than half we're also it's not brand-new rear brakes we have changed the engine oil change transmission oil what else we do oh it is had a new pump recover come on and so we put it as a new bumper cover put on it it was old it's missing the carpet in the trunk so we got mad put that in there horse cars been cleaned essentially we went through the entire car front to back to make sure that it's you know good really in you're scouting of a new star you know there's some things that you look at you know you know I always encourage people to take through the Canon you know person foremost so prior to doing that though you know give the car to look over you know look at the players take it for a drive which we're going to do except brakes feel see how it drives overall sounds though it shifts you know anything that you have the ability to do before you take it to a mechanic but ultimately and yet you have to take it to a shop to have it looked at but we're gonna skip that step because we've already done that so this car is four-cylinder is it's front-wheel drive I think that's a good fit for you personally because they're economical to drive they are this is what I would call like a cookie cutter car they're very common they're relatively cheap to repair it's automatic obviously it's a four-door you know having a child is you know necessary and Reid said that you'd like to give people rides yeah and also know they get a little bit of a hankering towards heaven and all-wheel drive like SUV yeah so in my opinion and I grow on your position I think this is you know a great car so yeah look it over if you like that's yeah they cleaned up really really well of course we'll go drive it - yep it does have Sirius XM if you ever you know chose to you know get that oh we also charge AC made sure it was full it was only down about six or seven ounces so we drained the AC we filled it make sure it's good for summer yes my current car decides when it wants it is not an option so you have the heat words AC words radio we've already gone through another thing like you're looking for a used car which it makes some kind of petty but when you're checking it out you know go through all the little trinkets on the inside do all the windows work because let's say for example II get a car and also like to the windows don't work it could be you know window regulators and that could be a $600 bill right off we get know something saying like that we know it's not working or trunk not Poppins of course we've already gone through all that so all the windows work lights work on the inside all the speakers yeah yeah yep yep so we've already checked that out the other thing we did too is we sprayed the entire car with a product called fluid film it helps keep the car from rusting that's kind of like an oil spray nice yep so you're friends with the goods they always get their car so in Canada that's why the cars are always rust free but yeah so you know it's inside the doors it's under the car and you get that done once a year it keeps car for busting oh that's awesome yep so does it look like to be enough room in the back and stuff there was a car seat in it at one point yeah the amount of crud on the backseat reflective that I like the color in those lights oh yeah yeah they're pretty cool [Music] yeah very rust-free for thee I'm not good you know an eight or nine year old Carnoustie is all right so we can pull out here and turn left yep and then you go to the stop sign and turn left again the brakes in my car will come on for a day and there too and then go back off and then I went to stop earlier and my way here and the right front made horrible horrible noise and then went to stop again just to see if I could make it do it again no tension should just stop fine fixed well you either fix itself for whatever us make a noise fell off yeah yeah I don't know it's something that goes like off and on it'll do it it I don't know my car right now I'm just like if I can just make it another one that's all I'm concentrating on right we will turn right here so usually when I'm test driving a car I'll listen for like you know little subtle noises hitting bumps and then I like to come out like I know I call this big road we're in good it up like 55 60 and I can feel you know as the car shaken doesn't pull to left or pull to the right you know usually I'll do a couple I have you know heavy to modern stop so I can see how the brakes feel see if the brakes are shaking or shimmying or pullin but I can assure you this car doesn't yeah I'm gonna just go ahead and just go with my gut that that's already been yeah yeah yeah so with the back brakes being brand new in the front serve like 95 percent so the brakes are nice and smooth and of course with the brand new tires it runs with I ran the car I think white touch row I had like 70 75 and just smooth as glass yeah my car likes to vibrate a little bit if I get on the into six right now oh yeah I tend to take it a lot like between 86 and 2:19 and stuff when I was going to Radford for clinicals so when you got college RN that's your goal yep that's my goal after next week I have my 1st semester final and then I've got three more semesters after that take my boards and I'll be at all right that's awesome so Hannah that's back in the shop that is also what she's going to college for oh what's that yeah but doesn't you get her r-n first so like I could be wrong you tend to get your RN first get your bachelor's get your master's and then you're MP initial thoughts and maybe just a whole lot more than a little bit so what you can do when we get up here there's gonna be a left-hand turn just past this White House just by this be up by the next White House you're on the Left kind of six I believe is yep so you'll turn left on the County Route six and then there's a parking lot on your right will turn around in that parking lot I think yeah a lot of times too if I'm out test-driving used cars I'll give them a couple of full throttle starts just to see usually if you have a transmission that's starting to fail and you're you know really hammering on the gas transmission shift funny the engine will flare up and you know a lot a lot of times you can detect problems like that but you know I get in this case we've already given the car full beans [Music] previously I don't discuss any financial stuff on line or on you know my camera so I'm gonna go bad I've got the terms I'm willing to do I just wanna have you look at it there's that area that's over on the particulars on this car [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] that's a good payment hey folks so that's it what do you think I mean we've done a lot of talking here off camera and stuff a lot of a lot of girls celebrations acting crying I didn't get anything in my eye fortunately they said we got on camera this really happened we said listen to me things like this happen I should be yeah [Applause] you know you have a very fantastic friend yes I thought she's absolutely amazing and there's been a lot of people praying for you and rooting for you you know through this whole thing and I'm reading inside to keep your secret awesome I just everybody that fine you know through conversations and everything just finding out exactly how much has gone into this and everything I just I can't believe like yeah like why I'm nobody special I'm nobody why not this is amazing this is just absolutely amazing this car is beautiful it's absolutely beautiful hits well I'd like to see people who are trying we need a little help need a little boost if I have the ability to help them along then why not and you know the girls were on the same page when we entered
