Sky Replacement Tutorial - Capcut PC/MAC

if you want to change the sky from this to this then this tutorial is going to show you how frame by frame and we're starting right now firstly let's open capcut and start a new project then you want to import the media that you're going to use for this project for this tutorial I've already downloaded some media a good place to find stock images and videos is on pixels.com now you want to take the media that you want to remove the sky from and add that on your main track for this to work best try to use a video or image with no clouds and just a clear blue sky or if it's nighttime a clear black Sky if there are too many objects this can become rather tricky then select your media and head over to video cut out and chroma key then you want to click on the Color Picker click on the blue now play around with a strength slider till the color is gone from the part of the media you want to use if I have to increase the slider you will see that some parts of the media is removed as well as it has some shades of blue in it now we will slightly increase the shadow slider just to make it a bit more smoother around the edges now we can see that our background is fully gone leaving us with a transparent background if you want to stay up to date with new tutorials hit that like And subscribe button right now now let's bring in our Sky replacement media and place it on the timeline where we want the effect to take place now use the slider to scale the media to fit your project and adjust any other settings here to fit the your project style after that hold alt and drag to duplicate the media on a third media track and adjust this to fit your Sky replacement then from your media pool bring in the First Media again and place it on the fourth media track and then cut it just before the sky replacement happens now your timeline should look something like this if I turn off the fourth media track you can still see the transparent background so to cover that we bring the original media and place it on top to master transparency of the first part of the project then for your final part you want to add some color correction under adjustments to make sure that the two Medias blend well together and it looks like one media if you found value in this tutorial then smash that like And subscribe Button as it really helps the channel want to learn more about cap cut then go watch how to color grade next till next time happy editing
