what is going on you guys my name is josh also known as harry tornado today i have about eight ebay items to get pulled packed and shipped out and then after that i'm heading up to spartanburg south carolina i'm gonna hit a couple thrift stores along the way and then head to the dream deals location in spartanburg because i've actually arranged to buy a sealed box of inventory directly through them from their supplier if that makes sense like it's a sealed box of inventory that they would get to stock the bins and i'm just buying the box i'm just curious to see what's inside an amazon overstock return box of inventory so i'm super excited about that stick around you wanna come inside no okay oh whoa what you what are we doing are we running where you going outside time so far come here i love you so much he gets so effort then he immediately stops are you tired yet okay last year i guess late last summer we planted some blueberry bushes over here sunshine please it's my camera today all right so i've got eight things going on today that's on ebay the first one is this monster putter back here this was part of my golf club buyout probably got two or three dollars into this i think this sold for like 20 yeah 25 plus shipping on this not too bad next up is this john deere lamp i picked this up at a yard sale a couple weeks ago for five bucks and i actually decided to auction it off because i don't know john deere stuff is pretty collectible and i are when i posted the video i had a lot of people messaging me about it and like commenting on the video and saying they were interested so i felt like it was an appropriate item to auction off so i did that seven day auction it had a total of 26 bids and eventually sold for 42 dollars plus shipping i think this is going to georgia so it's not even going to cost that much to ship i was worried about shipping it because it's kind of fragile and stuff but it's not that big i mean it'll fit in that box is too big it'll fit in a pretty normal sized box just a little bit of bubble wrap and should be good to go next item is this whirly pop popcorn machine i got this at a garage sale the same day i picked up the john deere lamp just had a different garage sale uh this was listed for 15 plus shipping and it sold and it's sold to a viewer named derrick he actually bought this during my youtube live stream some stuff on mercari and i had a balance on my account and instead of cashing out the balance i was just looking on mercari for things that i could buy and then resell on ebay for a profit so i bought this on mercari last week for 75 free shipping um and it arrived perfect condition listed it for 99 free shipping on ebay and it sold within like 48 hours like very very quickly um which is crazy for literally just a golf club head cover i mean scotty cameron putters and anything scotty cameron hats shirts anything that has scotty cameron logo on it is definitely worth a lot of money as you can see here this is a used putter head cover sold for 99.90 free shipping it's gonna go it's an international sale but went through the global shipping program so it's just gonna go to kentucky for me so it's probably gonna cost four or five bucks to ship out and then the last item going out today is actually a pokemon card that i pulled out of the pack a couple weeks ago this is a more pico vmax uh holographic full art pokemon card really cool uh the only reason i listed this instead of selling it in bulk is because it's in really really good condition i mean it's a good card it's you know worth this i think it's worth worth listing as it is but there's no blemishes on the front or the back and it's centered really well so if this was sent off to grading i think it would come back at least a 9.5 if not a 10 if you guys know what grading is uh but sold as is current condition ungraded it sold for seven dollars and 49 cents plus shipping first pokemon card i've ever sold on ebay really really interesting way to uh i guess get into this category of selling items i just got an instagram message from a viewer of the youtube channel he's found something in my ebay store that he wanted to buy and just asked me through instagram if he could buy it directly from me to avoid the ebay fees anytime somebody asked me that through instagram i am always happy to oblige it's tough when people send me ebay messages asking if they can buy something outside of ebay because ebay sees that and it's really hard for me to continue that conversation about cutting ebay out of the the the transaction on ebay's platform so if you ever want to buy something for me directly without going through ebay don't send me an ebay message send me an email or an instagram message then we go work it out that way um this this item is a blackhawk double stack mag case actually pick this up at dream deals the amazon overstock store uh for six bucks no did i get yeah yeah i got it for six bucks um yeah not a not a crazy item there i just knew i could make a little bit of a profit on there i i told him to i said just do 20. that's five dollars off the ebay price i think i was listed for 25 bucks free shipping he said no brother i can't 25 it is and he just sent me uh 25 bucks on paypal so shout out to texas veteran store on instagram i'm gonna go ahead and follow him back there's this ebay link there uh go check it out go give him a follow he's cool guy i appreciate the sale man i just realized i'm shipping out eight things today yesterday i think i sent out 12 or 13 things i had a really good sales weekend and the last whole week of sales for me on ebay has been really good so i went to my ebay seller hub and just like i wanted to look at my sales for the last week or so uh so i generate a report from april 22nd to april 29th i can see my total sales on ebay was 1842.39 uh taxes was 100 of that was state taxes selling costs like shipping all that stuff was 539 so net sales uh basically sales before cost of goods was about twelve hundred dollars just over twelve hundred dollars which is up sixty percent from the week prior and i really could just contribute this increase in sales to an increase in listing last week like last tuesday wednesday thursday friday i listed over 80 items like 82 items in my ebay store and when you do that you get really good weeks of sales so the only way to get consistently good week so sales like this is to consistently list new items in your store i've been really motivated to get listing done lately and honestly getting through it and seeing these sales start to roll in as well is really helps keep the motivation going i do get you know viewer sales a lot of let's say at least 40 30 to 40 of my sales do come from viewers but a lot of the bigger items that i sell in my store are not viewer sales a lot of the smaller dollar items are the viewer sales so i'm happy with this um and i also made some direct to viewer sales in the last week that were outside of ebay so i think roughly i operated about a 50 profit margin before tax so if i have eighteen hundred and forty two dollars in sales on ebay that is usually gonna mean i'm going to have around 900 to a thousand dollars in taxable income which means you know roughly two to 250 or so is going to be cost of goods sold and i think that's pretty accurate for this week as well but if you count the sales that i had outside of ebay as well in the last seven days i've probably had a taxable income of of my reselling side of income of probably 12 to 1300 or so which is really good for me i'm a pretty mediocre reseller i don't really sell a lot i think i usually hit around five thousand dollars per month in gross sales which gives me a total take-home net or not take home a total pre-tax income per month of around twenty five hundred dollars uh in in on the reselling side of things not counting youtube or affiliates or anything so i think this was a really good week for me and i'm i'm motivated to keep listing and keep these numbers growing as we continue into 2021. all right most i think i have everything i got my packages in the car got my phone wallet keys gopro batteries gopro i think we're good are we are we good you think we're good to go let's not we we can't go but i'm ready to go and it's up to you to hold down the fort okay love you so much have a good day clean up a little bit you're the best an interesting thing just happened i went to this post office to drop off my packages today and the john deere tractor lamp that i sold i packed that up in a fireball whiskey box it was like i don't know like 12 by 11 by 14 or something and i went to go drop it off and oh sorry we can't take anything in a liquor box i'm like really that i've never heard that before but i've also never tried to ship anything in a liquor box before and they're really nice they're like yeah it's just you know if you try to if you try to mail that into liquor box it's just going to get return to sender they're never going to actually deliver it in a liquor box so now i have to go she's like yeah if you just wrap it wrap the box in like a plastic wrap like my black plaster crab i have she's like just put another label put it on there and it should be fun it's just alcohol advertising so heads up to anybody watching this video don't try to ship anything in a box advertising liquor because apparently it's not allowed [Music] i am about 50 55 miles away from spartanburg south carolina and i'm just loving the vibe of this springtime road trip i'm passing rvs and campers and boats and there's so many people just going places and doing stuff and i it's just one of my favorite times of year for sure i want to do some more traveling in the next couple months once things start to become a little bit more safe and open up a little bit more but i don't know where i want to go i do have some destinations in mind i have one trip planned next month i'm super excited about that but i want you guys to let me know where you think i should go do you live in a city that has good thrift stores but also has like other things to offer like good scenery or you know beautiful mountains or valleys or something i just want to see more of the united states i've never been further north in virginia and i've never been further west much in there today i mean i found two hats um they're both vintage but in usa this is an omron trucker hat never heard of that and the other one is pretty cool it says universal fasteners subsidiary of ykk corp i think ykk is the company that makes all the zippers like if you look at your zipper on your pants right now it should say ykk on there both of these are vintage made in usa they paid a dollar each no idea what they're worth probably 20 25 bucks plus shipping not too bad so let's go to uh the next goodwill which should be in spartanburg the first good willow into in spartanburg was hot garbage no clips from that one moving on to the next i'm giving one more goodwill a shot then we've got to go to dream deals in spartanburg to get my mystery box they've got for me so hopefully we find some good in this last location so far nothing but i did see a 20 bill on the ground it was like right next to this lady and instead of just like waiting for her to leave i was like is that yours and she's like oh yeah that's mine so i don't know if it was hers or not but at least i won't feel bad about stealing 20 from a lady this goodwill is almost the exact opposite of the last one i mean the shelves here are pretty bare i mean there's a few things here and there but i don't really see anything worth looking at you know it's a little discouraging [Music] but we'll keep looking i might have found something here this is a skb orange california rolling golf case you see they want twenty nine dollars from eighty nine cents worked which seems kind of expensive but looking up soul comps there's the exact one skb golf club rolling travel hard case the wheels are on the other side down there um and no keys because i'm assuming this one doesn't have a key to it so this is the exact same one sold for 144 bucks plus 75 dollars in shipping so it's a big item but i think it's worth it i'm gonna get it one pair of shoes down here new balance 860 v7s no heel wear good uppers plenty of tread left 650. i'll grab them so i know that i've said multiple times in videos and live streams and podcasts that i don't like selling big items i don't want to sound like a hypocrite but this item was definitely worth i mean you guys saw the sold cops i could sell it with shipping and the best part about shipping something like this is you don't have to put it in a box you could just ship it just like this in a case and just slap a label on the top it does need a little bit of cleaning it's got some dust and bird poop or whatever that is on there but uh for 30 bucks couldn't turn it down man i really think we're gonna be able to turn this into a nice nice profit profit for sure i don't like selling big things unless they're extremely profitable you couldn't really hear anything i was saying in this section of the video because the wind was incredibly loud but basically i was like hey i'm here at dream deals in spartanburg south carolina let's go ahead and get inside and see about this mystery box that they have set aside for me so the owner of dream deals just gave me a little tour around the spartanburg location and i'm sure most of you if you've watched my videos or watched youtubers at all you've seen somebody like me or dante prison profit go to places like this but they have these uh usually wooden bins some some locations have like big plastic bins and they get you know loads of amazon returns target returns um some i guess walmart cbs i've seen it from a lot of different stores and then once a week or actually twice a week they come and clean out all the bins that person there's literally got a shovel just like shoveling up all the you know bits and pieces and broken stuff to clean out the bins and then they reload them with a new product like that person's doing right there usually they pull up like a the pallet um kind of like on a forklift and then just kind of dump everything into the into the bins and then people line up a couple hours before they open on re-stock days come in here and dig and try to find valuable items i think this location does six dollars per item uh on fridays and saturdays and restock day and then the price drops a little bit every day as the things get more and more picked through the prices drop so i think it's really fair model um i mean i've been to the location in columbia and i've found two cell phones in one day that sold for 250 bucks a piece plus shipping i mean i found some really really nice stuff i mean it is going to be a lot of lower end items you're dealing with like amazon returns and you know some some things that are just not worth six dollars that's why you got to wait for restock days like these games and some old new calendars and stuff like that so just some stuff's not worth it but if you're willing to get here a couple hours before they open wait in line be one of the first people in here and get the first look at what's been been put out that night before you can really find some good stuff a lot of the times so it's the very next day when i was leaving a dream deal spartanburg yesterday i was trying to film them loading up the mystery box back here but it was super windy and i was trying to like talk and explain what was going on but all you could hear was just so it was just completely unusable footage so this is the mystery box that they gave me it's fresh off the truck they said they didn't open it or anything like that it's exactly what you could expect to get from an amazon return slot it should be a lot of mixed stuff hopefully some good stuff probably some bad stuff but today we're going to get into it and see exactly what we have here all right so i've strapped my gopro to my chest here so i can work with both hands as we open this box i've got a little crate here i'll just throw stuff in there when i want to keep it obviously and take it to put the garage sale on ebay i don't know if i'm going to sell all this stuff on ebay because you know when you're dealing with amazon returns sometimes you get things that just aren't worth listing so i may re-donate some of this stuff but hopefully there's enough good stuff in here to make some pretty good money again full transparency this box was given to me for free um but this is they said it was fresh off the truck it's not like a loaded box or anything so that could be good or bad i don't know we'll we'll see but i'm excited i hear something soother i think okay it's looking i think it's this thing it's making noise let's see there i think the try me button got pushed or something there we go okay that's cool i don't know what that's worth but when you're dealing with amazon stuff a lot of times it's gonna i mean sometimes you get stuff that people buy and then immediately return without opening but usually the boxes are gonna be opened um you know some pieces may be missing but we'll see some nintendo switch controllers i don't really know how the program works but oftentimes you find the stuff wrapped in this this like poly bag i guess people return it like this and then amazon puts it in this bag before they send it to distribution centers i don't know but this is brand new sealed i think that's pretty cool joy cons that's definitely a good item easy to ship to singable songs for the very young rafi okay and closer here right on my switch yeah i switch my camera to super view so you guys can see more of this stuff now this is a wrath power powerhouse what the heck is this oh it's like a power bank and there's a thick power it's got a built-in fan it definitely looks used i mean there's some fingerprints and stuff on it but lights come on i think that's i think that's a pretty good item for sure again at this store um like i said earlier everything on restock days is six dollars and this is kind of stuff that gets put out on restock days i mean it's not going to be you know nice power banks and turtle beach headsets as far as the eye can see but you can find stuff like this because i found it before wow these these look pretty good again they definitely look used but they don't look broken and that's the key here stealth bucks on this all right what's this panasonic rechargeable shaver that looks pretty good it's definitely been open so let's the a big problem with these rechargeable shavers is that once they're used they're super gross i mean who wants to use a used shaver that somebody else has already like got their face hair in you know yeah it's got a little bit of hair right there so you can tell it's been used but it's not super gross it's definitely not the grossest i've ever seen and it still works so i might let's look this up to see how much it's worth if it's worth a lot it's gonna definitely be worth to take the time to clean it all right so let's see this is the pre-owned 30 bucks yeah so it's it's probably not gonna be worth worth a lot of time to like clean and make it brand new again so i don't know i might just keep it yeah that's definitely a nice shaver um but i don't think it'd be worth cleaning to get to get listed again not for 30 bucks it depends on how easy it is to clean bunch of hair brushes new in package this actually might be pretty good the wet hair brush okay i think i think it may be good uh it requires approval but they sell for i mean the good sales rank 1400 sales rank and health and personal care buy box is 8.99 free shipping so i mean they're not a huge money maker but these would sell even on ebay i mean you could probably sell these for i don't know maybe the same thing as amazon like eight nine bucks free shipping super light they'll go first class cost you know three to four dollars to ship out so after fees you'd be making like three bucks two to three bucks so it wouldn't be worth it to buy but if you got it in a big lot like this it would be a pretty easy item to to move out of your store i think so hope you guys enjoyed today's unboxing home goods beauty products of course some things are going to be new in box some things are going to be open box used missing pieces you just kind of have to take the good with the bad but overall i really like the experience of shopping at these amazon stores especially dream deals they're located in spartanburg south carolina and west columbia south carolina the one in west columbia is one i go to most often because i live here but both locations are essentially the same you go six dollars per item friday and saturday and then after that the prices drop down so huge shout out to them for
