Revisiting Historic Minecraft Mods

minecraft has been around for more than a decade now and ever since its release people have been modifying the game in a variety of ways so today we're gonna be taking a look at some of the most historic minecraft mods ever made and see what they're all about let's just get straight into it all right so the first mod we're going to be looking at is none other than the lucky block mod now basically what the lucky block mod is you know you got you got two sides it's like the political spectrum you got the very lucky block and you got the unlucky block now we're gonna start with the lucky block so basically if you've ever wanted minecraft to have more surprises you know it keeps you on the edge the lucky block mod is perfect for you you know it's like gambling if you get too greedy with the lucky block mod and you just mind too many of them you'll probably end up dying so this is like the 50 50 one uh we can either die or get good loots and i don't i wouldn't consider this good loot but we didn't die so it's it was it was a lucky block oh that sucked i i need i need i need something better now let's open up the very lucky block let's see if we get something better it's not better that's really not better all right all those are pretty anti-climactic so i'm just gonna mine some more and see if i can survive uh lucky potion hey those are not lucky okay let's see what we get yeah i'm just gonna accept it all right so you guys know what day it is it's october 1st that means that no simp september is finally over you know what that means you know what that means yeah look at all of my girlfriends the girlfriend mod what else can i say yeah this mod was pretty good you know this was the first mod i downloaded when i was a child and i still play with it a lot today uh you basically take you know you find these you find these women scattered across the map i don't know what they're doing there they usually hang out in groups and uh you take roses and i'm pretty sure you just give it to them well that's how you would usually tame a girlfriend but the mod pack the actual working girlfriend mod is in isn't on the internet anymore so basically what would happen was you would give her a rose she will tame and then she'll fight for you and she'll even attack other women in the area because of jealousy just like they do for me in real life but yeah that's basically all there is to this mod so let's just move into the next one all right so the next mod we're going to be taking a look at is the so plenty mod basically what the biomes are plenty mod is it just adds in a ton of new different biomes to the game it also adds in a couple new building blocks flowers and you even got mushrooms here it adds in plants trees and all that stuff but uh this is probably one of the most popular mods there is today it has 36 million downloads which is just insane and this mod is really a go-to mod for any sort of mod pack or any sort of modded let's play you know captain sparkles he always had these in this modded let's plays it was just the perfect addition to any modded series this is a disgusting biome here but you know i could go all around the world looking at the different types of biomes because there's just so many as the name literally says biome so plenty but i think that's going to do it for this mod tour though so let's just get straight into the next mod okay so this next mod we're going to be looking at is the minecraft version of pokemon now the pixelmon mod is actually probably one of the most interesting ones on this list now basically what you do is you have your pokemon that you picked when the game started up and i picked chimchar because he do be looking pretty fresh though and basically you can go around the map finding other pokemon to fight yeah we found one right here let's yeah level five we can easily take them all right we're in the water what will chimchar do i don't know tax fraud let's fight him uh we're gonna do scratch oh my god mike's chimchar is literally going to die already please please just don't die yeah oh my we got him we actually got him so basically what happens is when you win battles and all that you can level up your your uh pokemon you know you go all around the world and fight people and honestly for a mod made in 2013 this is extremely well developed like back then this was just crazy to see i remember a lot of people are playing this and it was a pretty big deal but yeah obviously in this video i'm not going to go grind out my chimchar to level 99 or anything like that but it's a really fun mod and you know it has that little grind aspect to it so let's just get straight into the next one but uh yeah the ether mod was created in 2011 and it was really the first mod to add in a lot of stuff to the game like added in a whole dimension and back then that was really uncommon there wasn't a lot of stuff like that so we're gonna push this horse into there so we make sure it's safe go please go inside we need to make sure it's safe let's see let's see if they're okay i'll get back to you soon oh oh the music what what's that what's happening oh my god wait where's the other one where did the other one go oh no we have a golden parachute oops sorry sorry about that he's gone he's dead i didn't oh my god oh my gosh what i'm sorry i'm sorry you had to see that oh my gosh go back in the portal just go back in but uh yeah just like the lucky block mod literally everybody was playing this mod back in the day it's just one of those iconic mods probably the most iconic mod actually but uh here's the fire boss and he's pretty interesting that's a hard battle he's a hard one for sure and this is probably the coolest dungeon out of them all now it's this cool little like you know greek ancient temple sort of thing it's got these big pillars and uh right here is the boss room yep the boss room uh this is the boss it's probably i think it's one of actually this might be the hardest boss i can't remember but yeah like i said if you kill these bosses you get special loot and like in this chest right here you have to kill her but you can get cool stuff so yeah the aether mod is for sure an incredible mod it's got so much stuff to it and it's just something like in no other mod is like this this mod is actually so well made that the developers of mojang even hired the guy that made it alright so that is the ether mod so let's move on into the next one alright so as you all know sometimes standing you know it gets a little tiring so that's where that's where mr craig's furniture mod comes into play now basically this mod you know it's just it's just chairs and stone cabinets and lamp you can even put the lamp on that and if that if that's not cool i don't know what it is aren't these chairs and stuff in this furniture super cool pig wait would take take that back to take take that back don't make me i will shoe you you're gonna pay for this one buddy what the who is this guy what's going on i don't know who this guy is i didn't even spawn him in got him got him yes yes yes get get owned and another very important mod is just enough items where you can basically you know you can see every single item in the game so if i want to if i want to know how to craft a taurus raging hunter i can figure that out and then of course optifine where you can zoom in on stuff alright so back on track we're gonna jump straight into the next mod and that is the twilight forest mod now i bet you're looking around right now you're like well that this is just a regular oak forest well when you take a two by two so an infinity water pool and surrounded by flowers throw that throw that in oh oh my the gods they've they've smited me and then your flowers turn on fire and look it's it's another portal no way you jump in and then no oh actually this is a cool mod yeah i haven't played this in a while i used to play it a long time ago it's actually a really well put together mod it's one of the most downloaded mods ever with 35 million downloads 35 million that's that's more people than there are in the world but yeah it was created in february 2015 so it hasn't been around for too long but it is easily one of the most well put together mods now i'm just trying to show a little bit around here and there's basically just dungeons all across the map but others dungeons and you can fight them and then you get super good loot and all that kind of stuff who makes their house like this oh here's one this is a cooler dungeon uh yeah you got like crazy structures all across the map and you can obviously get good loot from these and sorta just like the ether and the biome so plenty mod the twilight forest mod or the twilight forest dimension it's almost in every single let's play like again if you're gonna have a mod pack the twilight forest is just gonna be a go-to mod and this is yeah this is the boss this is one of them the twilight lich i i ain't really feeling like throwing hands right now so i think i'm gonna get out of here but uh yeah this mod is for sure an insane mod you know so many bosses so many dungeons and items it's actually crazy so uh it should be on the top of a lot of your guys list for mods that you want to play all right so for this next mod we're going to go we're going to have a little bit of battle it's going to get it's going to get a little bit bloody uh he sees me he they already see me they already see me i don't have anything i'm eating my golden apple now we they're fighting they're fighting each other fight fight each other please i'm just gonna take them out from a distance oh my god what just what just happened what is what is that my i can't do this i i'm i'm having i'm stressing out right now he's too strong he's too powerful please no he's sending all his little minions i should have been cheating oh no this is impossible i don't know why i did this on i have an idea okay i'm safe well if you couldn't tell what mod uh we're using right now it is the mutant creatures which is you know what one of the first mods that ever changed mods mobs in the game what is happening to my screen i had no idea why i thought i could take all of these at once it was you know very stupid of me maybe maybe there's only one okay the creeper probably killed himself i killed him dude what is he doing relax relax real what is this he's a black hole what what is going on please tell me please this isn't right this wait did i kill him oh my god i actually killed them guys all right well that was the mutant creatures mod it for sure nightmare nightmare fuel so let's just get right into the next mod have you ever looked at your moon in your minecraft world and said wow it'd be it would be really cool if we could go there well with the galactic craft mod you actually can so uh basically what this mod does it allows you to go to all the different planets and you know asteroids and moons that there are around in our solar system so what you do is you take your little thing right here if i can you know angle it the right way you put your you put your battery in here and then you put your fuel and it's fueling up and everything like that you right click and let's wait let's wait a little bit let's let let it fuel up and uh while this is fueling up i'm just look like roblox oh we're a bouncy ball i guess but obviously if i was in survival right now i'd be dead but yeah basically when you land on the planet your main goal is to find some dungeons now when you find these dungeons you will fight the boss and when you fight the boss you can get blueprints for more rocket stuff and when you get good enough rocket stuff you can go to other distant planets like there's even earth right there that's pretty cool how they did that oh wait i think this is one i think this is a dungeon yeah that's a dungeon oh there's there's the evolved creeper boss here let's get some torches this is genuinely disturbing bam i'm literally surviving perfectly fine using golden apples to breathe i don't know why we just don't do this in real life and then in here we got our nasa workbench schematic and then when you use that you can go to different planets and all that stuff and you know it's a really cool mod so let's just jump into the final mod now the last and final mod we're going to be looking at is rl craft now rl craft is you know claimed to be one of the hardest mods and it's actually not a mod but it's multiple mods put together met many it's basically like if you went to a store and asked for an rl craft you'd basically be asking for their entire stock yeah but in minecraft's comeback rl craft really got big you know even pewdiepie was playing it people are still even playing it to this day so it's a really big mod oh my god that actually jumps scared me what is wrong with this game what is wrong it doesn't make sense this game doesn't make sense easy look at that we even got oak from that oh my god that thing is massive yeah they're chill oh they're yetis i think i could take them on i think i think i could take one of them on i killed him raw yeti meets hey she saw that yeah oh oh no yeti i'm sorry we gotta go man we gotta go hello are you ch and that's rl craft for you and then you're back to square one put on that
