Richard Sanders the one and only for those of you are following you are magicians you're very familiar with Richards work he's created some of them I could safely say the most popular and best magic Instagram account and yeah that's everything you think you said right I'm gonna demonstrate the effect for you guys right now so once again this is an effect that is done with just piece of paper a piece of paper and that's it so anyway as you can see I've shredded up just white papers or whatever you want and you find some paper pad of paper business cards whatever all using a pen and you're ready to do this so actually before we begin I'm gonna make a prediction I'm gonna predict this I'm gonna go with that I made a prediction I'm gonna fold it up I'm gonna set it down over here I want it to be someone with a camera can see it's almost widget and Richard um only need some like like house house animals some house pets will do about eight of them so whatever okay what you got squirrel squirrel not a common one but I'll take it squirrel cage that's a squirrel camera might not see it so you will be their eyes what else cat cut fairy spirit a dog though for rack rep five Canada zebra sure zebra hamster hamster love it kind of course use from any Specter is now most you know all the name different things in one Mar birdy-bird okay so there it is we have eight animals housed animals house pets and here I'll give you four of these and I want you to help me pull them up so take them like this and they tight little paper bowls and set them down in front of you like this everyone can help you with this okay so we'll take go ahead and take those like that has mixed them up in your hands like this yeah on the table is great and then I'll take the ones you have you take the ones I have to give those a mix so we're just mixing them all up awesome so they're all mixed up and we're gonna do this I'm gonna set them down in front of you like that and I'm going to just reach over in the ground and just grab any one go ahead take great and I want you to look at what it is right now hold on before you did you want to change the one that's when you want so we have all these different animals things like dog or parent where all these around what did you what did you get I got a cat chat here's the thing before we begin before I even named the animals I want a prediction I've set it down over here and you didn't yet ins cat nice okay now let's be fully honest before we want this mission we did not set this up I didn't tell you pick this or pick that or say this completely unplanned completely I mean I was pulled around but I really did not amazing let's move to the explanations okay guys so before we go to the explanation I want to tell you guys that this trick is one of those things where depending on what the spectator does you're gonna modify what you do and the variation that just happened although was extremely a planned was a best-case scenario situation now there's - best case in there situations out of eight possible outcomes which means one out of four times that you perform this it's gonna look that good but it's going to say that I have ways to increase that situation on happening which I've just used and you did not know that that was happening you made it free trips yeah okay so let's talk about it first of all this is not to be housed animals or pets it can be anything you want to be sodas or drinks or colors or whatever whatever you want you're gonna start by writing down a prediction the prediction you're gonna write in this case it's cats it I've written down something that if I were to ask eight people to name house animals cats going to come up you know you were being funny saying things like zebra and hamster and cat and dog still came up is those two always yeah so from the top you're gonna write down cap on a piece of paper the first thing you do you fold it up you sit down and put in someone's hand make sure that you cannot get to that and then you get another piece of paper so here we go a piece of paper and now you're gonna ask them to come out household pests and they're gonna say things and they're probably gonna say cat if they don't same cat if they're like bird hamster dog fish I'm not the general it's a rotten cat but if by the six of them at cat you smoking Catholic felt like somebody sent for nine years like the way you thank you said and you know what will would be some common household they're gonna come up it's never not come up now you're gonna set them down and you're gonna ask for help to ball these up the only one that I want to borrow up myself is the one that says cat the only reason for that is I want to keep track of it visually so I'm gonna follow that up and I'm gonna put it for example rightmost over here and I'm gonna keep my eyes on that now you're gonna help me with these circular bodies up that is so is there anything specific that you're trying to do to that paper no no I'm just visually keeping my eyes on Harvey I know it's over here on the right and nothing else really matters follow these up depend on any folding or smashing techniques so there's the cat now they're just gonna happen I'm gonna pick this I'm gonna pick this up and so they look like I'm just grabbing for a trap and I am three of them around and one is the cat one then this one is going in to finger palm finger palm meaning a loose grip like this with the ring and middle finger it's not tense like this it's just a loose and there's a nice big piece of paper so it's easy to grip you you're not trying to hide it from anyone you're just security in securing it in place and I grab three waters say you grab these do I'm grabbing me now I say mix them up I am mixing these three up but this one's not moving right staying there like this loosely grabbing with your fingers yes like this you can even use your thumb told it back like this as you mix as long as you know where it is you mix like this now I dump them out then I lay the fourth one down I don't know if you guys saw that I'll do it again it looks like I mix and drop but mine's here because I dumped and then let that one go so I know where it is you you're saying yeah give me this now I do this like okay you take mine except work this is a big mess which had to follow so I grabbed this and I come over here and I push some towards you just not this one I keep it again if you want so clear you've got these I'll grab those and mix so I still have in my tent so I'm just kind of mixed up I just pushed a bunch towards you and I grab some now I do the same thing now I love the cat is here again now in a moment I'm gonna offer you a choice I want him to pick cat first or last if he does that I'm a miracle on hands so you're gonna do I call this the framing principle as I bring them together I put the cat somewhere in the middle but you'll notice all the other ones are touching the cat has a bit of space between it and the other ones I'll give you guys a close-up of this so here it is guys this is the frame principle this one over here is the cat so as you could see everything else is kind of touching and it's not obvious it's not like I'm not doing like this giant like this it's not it's not like that it's closer so the shape doesn't matter but as you could see that one is a little bit freer so I've have to go over with my fingers and grab one it's just easier to come here and take this the other ones were the part of me to like shut things out of the way so that is the frame principle and I found that it really really increases the odds of them picking that one right there okay it would be a little bit more towards like that to make it even easier for you to get to without having to go over a whole bunch of things so there it is now you're hoping they're gonna go for that if they don't it's okay because if they don't whatever when they pick up you go the south and you go pick another sucker now let's go through that scenario scenario one is you pick up the cat over you and now all the cat is left so again this is best-case scenario number two there's two of them so then because there's eight papers two scenarios means one of the four chance of a miracle and that's right if they eliminate like that and leave the cap you open it up boom boom boom I predicted that the one you will leave is the cat Matt [Music] so the question remains now what happens if you will donate the cat another position so I say go to the luminate one end for example you'll make this run all the tests tonight Golden Bear another one get rid of it you grab you grab that and get rid of that then I say no and now you grab the cat yeah I feel like everything's going as planned I still could put that on the side you put that one aside by visually keep traveling then you eliminate more more more more until there's one left here's what I'm going to do a switch I'm going to switch what you picked for the cat but I'm going to do this in a really subtle way so I want you to stay calm don't be like oh my god I've got to move now my attention to be sensed so you're already I reach out what just happened I go we took these papers I'm gonna say we took trips and mix them up I'm gonna do the same technique from earlier I'm gonna pick that up as I pick these up put that into finger palm grab these here I'm gonna go remember earlier we mix these and there's no action or anything now I've kept the carabiner palm oops right don't do that in the middle your performance so I kept in my finger palm so go like this like remember earlier we mix these up randomly like this now the finger pump I can't even rest my hands on the table like this such a substantive action yeah then I'll know what's missing if there's too many you're suing this marathon tell me at this point plus the whole thing is quick yeah so I do that and I go then you picked one that's the one you you kept and you eliminated all the others so what I've done is I've switched it let's walk through that again the cat is here this is the one you picked I grab all the papers mix them up dump them pick yours up now watch this is called a it's gonna show that's yeah so my right hand is going to come over I sit to pick up that piece of paper with this paper the cat one secretly hidden I'm gonna go here they touch my hand finds out my father's one they touch and as I move away and bring this interview my left hand naturally turns and comes over here to grab these what a great justification addiction is and it's immediately going to be ditched you're gonna get rid of it so in full action it looks like this he picked out one of the cat is here and I want to go like this so we took all these papers we mix them up then you picked one and got rid of all the other ones yeah this is the one you want yeah and you had that to them it's very nice it's a very nice switch because like you said it's one thing to do is switch and then you have to hold up the other cage with your pocket or yeah this way you're dumping it right away it's like that's a piece of work exactly so so that's it work on the switch because that's really the only one if the scenario works that's where the eliminated kappa this is the only one where you're gonna have to do the movie another great touch on this if you don't want to write down the prediction you can text them so you get their numbers I'm gonna text your prediction College juniors phone yet a piece of paper we're adding on some stuff a
