Geez, 1991 is a long time ago. I don't know how I feel about that.
When he got his mom's stuff back he was so overjoyed just to see his mom's pen. The weight of simple memories can carry so much emotion. All that brought back to 2019, made me cry too.
When I was little, my mom once had her wallet stolen at the grocery store. Years later, when they were developing the 3-acre field behind our house, one of the construction workers came to our door to say they'd dug up the wallet in the field. The cash was long gone and there were roots growing through the wallet, but there were still some old photos and things in there.
God, I hate thieves. Somebody stole a watch that my father had worn for years and the watch had been in 46 of the United States. I had planned to visit the rest of the states wearing the watch. It was a busted up Casio worth about 5 dollars (on a good day). They grabbed my gym bag with some stinky shoes and underbritches and that watch. I'm sure it is in a ditch somewhere just like this guy's stuff. Dear thieves, I know you don't give a shit but some worthless objects have value to people.
My day was shit today, bills, kids being kids, the cars not working right (Again) and then I see this and it fills my heart back up, people being nice, going that extra mile wow, makes you take a breath and see whats good. maybe I'm just not looking in the right place that this kind of stuff happens everyday, and my eyes aren't open like they should be.
Andy and Lance would be so envious.
The guy squatting during the entire phone conversation really made me uncomfortable, heโs not even Russian.
Cool video but thereโs a perfectly good table behind them and a chair he could sit in to look over these things. Poor guy had stoop over the whole time.
