hey guys what's up it is ripe again back with more entitled people if you enjoy these story compilations please don't forget to tell me in the comments and without any further ado let's dive right into the stories and the first one is titled supervisor wants to nitpick at me good luck being understaffed so at my job i work overnight there is two supervisors one is really cool and just lets you do your job and the other one constantly micromanages and makes passive aggressive jabs at you when you miss one thing that is not even that important just for the hell of it for example a few days ago i was working in my designated section for that night it was really slow because of this virus she goes hey can you refill these napkins i'm like okay sure now i was already doing something more important than one canister of napkins that was empty while the rest of the store was full so i figured let me finish one task i was already on first and then do those so while i am finishing up she comes back and says didn't i tell you to refill the napkins this guy just does nothing listen cue my reaction i just pretended i did not hear her for both our sakes then she asked me during the shift in a very sweet tone as sweet as she can manage if i can come in tomorrow night because they are gonna be short staffed and they have a truck i said okay because i could use the extra hours and then as i left my station because she told me to run cashier keep in mind i haven't finished getting my last area ready for the morning shift literally just missing sugar canisters she goes you forgot sugar canisters what the hell is wrong with you once again i didn't say anything i just turned off my radio and ultimately decided i'm not gonna show up or call to let them know since i'm not on the schedule officially anyway for that day and i can always just say i forgot the following cue her texting and calling me like crazy as soon as that truck arrived i'm guessing i just stayed up all night playing warzone instead she wants to act like a weirdo she will get treated like one update so i am working the following day and two of my co-workers got into an argument with the supervisor and clocked out leaving literally just me and the manager holy crap and by the way guys for the people that are currently working again i'm curious have you noticed any changes when it comes to behavior in your co-workers ever since this whole pandemic started i suppose if you had any awful co-workers before they are not gonna be much better now let us know about your experiences in the comments [Music] and the next one is titled co-worker threatens me and expects my boss to yell at me i'm not sure if that is entitled but here it goes i work as a personal assistant in sweden so i care for a person with a disability my co-worker let's call her mandy mandy was always late for work uses a lot of different excuses the train was late doctor visits etc we also work 24 hours a day 10 am to 10 am we are allowed to sleep if anyone is wondering many times she said she had to leave early because she always felt sick it was my job to make sure that if anyone got sick i had to call everyone and see if anyone else could work the rest of her shift if no one could i had to work and i was also responsible for fixing the schedule so fast forward she sent me a message and told me her mother was in the hospital and had to go so i called one of my co-workers who is wonderful and said he could work so i wrote in the schedule that my other co-worker took over at the time she left so she still would get paid for the hours she worked the day after i got a message that she wanted to get paid for sick leave but i told her that the best thing is to ask our boss if she can get paid for sick leave because her mother was sick not her and wow i got so many messages that i was a horrible person that she would tell my boss everything i had not done anything except my job so i took a screenshot and sent everything to my boss and called her the next day she was confused as to why she was so mad at me well i just told her she would talk to you if she would get paid for sick leave and she blew up on me well my boss told me she is fired mandy had done so much more but i wanted to take the most juicy one so yeah i don't know if i am the bad person here but i just wasn't sure if she was entitled to sick leave so i just told her to talk to our boss let me know what you think so guys i'm curious about your opinion do you think op is in the wrong here or do you think she did the right thing let me know what you think in the comments and by the way if you have watched until here please don't forget to post some star emojis in the comments and also like the video if you want to support me thank you very much in advance and the next one is titled i got fired so i took his career backstory so basically i worked at a fast casual burger chain it is not a very large one but it was franchised this chain i worked at was owned and managed by a very young university dropout who had his parents buy him this franchise it was entirely staffed by females plus me a male he had no experience in managing or leading a restaurant i had worked there as part of the original crew and eventually became a supervisor there this is when the problems start i was a 15 year old male working part-time so he did not take many of my opinions seriously when i got my first paycheck i noticed no pay increase it is generally a well-known fact that increased responsibilities meant increased pay of any sort this is when i started to dislike working there as i was supervising adults who were being paid more than i was simply because adults had a higher minimum wage his response to me was that he couldn't afford it while i obviously cannot prove it but with my shifts under my leadership our customer reviews were consistently 5 star reviews i never once received lower than 5 stars during my shift as i focused on customer service the manager however was greedy and never understood the concept of customer service with many shifts when a customer would complain about cold fries or an undercooked burger he simply would tell them they were wrong of course these customers would never return he was a cocky douche and he was a horrible manager who consistently was absolutely useless due to his treatment of customers he had an abysmal income of roughly eight thousand dollars per week a manager should never be making comments on their employees aka me and another employee my friend that we were too fat to be sitting on his chair because we would break it with our weight i play football i'm not fat i just have a large muscle mass now on to the nuclear revenge one time i work during a holiday and was expecting the provincial holiday pay in accordance with provincial requirements he never paid me appropriately and when i along with many other co-workers under my direction approached him about the pay he promptly told me it was not my place to talk to him about the law as he was the owner i was just a high schooler and said to me according to the law you're not entitled to this pay which was not accurate whatsoever whatever one night during a close which i had covered for the only other supervisor who had called in sick we had no customers none for the two hours leading up to close so i made the decision to shut down the fryers 50 minutes early so that our staff could get out earlier this would have saved him money of course we had a customer come in 5 minutes before close and i greeted him he asked for only fries and of course i had to unfortunately let him know that we had no fries left as we were about to close this customer begged for us to turn on the friars again and make them fries and i said no that is a story for another subreddit this customer angrily left and left me my first and only one star review because we were out of fries at that time i understand that had i left the friars on this would have been avoided regardless the next morning i arrived at my shift and he approached me and gave me a verbal warning about the incident and said that he would be deducting the cost of the price the order and a penalty for the one star rating at a cost of 80 dollars something he had never done before with anyone after he did that with me furious about this request as it was completely unfair i did some legal research i then screenshotted the appropriate legislation and texted him saying that it was completely illegal he did not respond 10 minutes before the end of my shift he fired me for repeated poor performance after this i informed all of my prior colleagues about the incident and asked them all to contact the ontario labour board and so began the arduous process of the labour board eight months later the labour board sided with all of us for wrongful terminations i received 3 500 from my termination along with my termination pay as it turns out in fact he did underpay me on every single one of my holiday shifts and i'm not too sure about how much the others received but overall from all of us it totaled around fifteen thousand to eighteen thousand dollars i then got a job right next door at a restaurant whose glass faces my previous workplace and every morning i got to see him running around as he was short-stepped and many of my co-workers quit when i was fired because he was the devil to work with i found out after this from his cousin who went to high school with me that he had sold his car to pay for our builds a 2017 mercedes c300 stopped paying royalties and then got sued by the franchise owners for breach of contract the restaurant was subsequently shut down and he was out of income over 1.50 in fries from last i heard he now works at his father's fast food restaurant as a regular employee too long didn't read i was fired for 1.50 in fries and subsequently shut down the owner's business got him sued and forced him to sell his car and i gotta say guys i am very impressed by this story considering how young the op still is and he definitely made the right choices here that was an absolutely delicious pro nuclear revenge story and by the way i would love to know did you ever have any extremely awful bosses in your work life i mean this boss here probably takes the cake but let us know about your experiences so far in the comments and the next one is titled my boss did not listen to me and makes a ten thousand dollar mistake so i work at an outdoor bar and grill i work as a busboy but have some responsibilities outside of that one of the responsibilities is stocking the walk-in freezer when beer shipments come in the restaurant that i work at is very popular in my town which means it takes a very long time to stock the mammoth shipments takes most of a day 100 to 200 cases of beer so i got to work on a shipment day and there's more than i thought i'm taking a lot longer than i usually would i look up at the sky and the clouds are looking pretty rough i look at my phone and lo and behold it's gonna be a thunderstorm so i take the hand truck and start moving the beer under a canopy my boss sees this and does not like that i am taking another 30 minutes to move the beer for a second time she was a police officer for 20 years and as she puts it i always know best so she starts chucking the beer in the freezer way too high with no regard for how it is stacked i know she's gonna mess up royally and try and explain but that is not how you do it this is how the following conversation ensued my memory is not the best so this is a generalization by the way guys that is a very interesting way to write and suit anyway me that's not how you do it you are stacking them the wrong way and the towers are way too high boss i've been in this game for three years i know what i'm doing me you put me here to do this job and to do it right and i was trained properly that's the wrong way to do it boss either help me or the door is that way points at the door cue malicious compliance so i go home for the day because i know it's gonna go wrong and i don't wanna be responsible not 30 minutes later i get a call from a co-worker furiously screaming at me saying i need to go it back and fix my mistake so i ride my bike back and walk right to the freezer and see a mess the entire right wall fell down ruining around four thousand dollars worth of beer two thousand dollars worth of food and the entire wall is soaked they had to close down the restaurant for two weeks to fix the freezer from the damage the beer got under the floor and started mucking up the walls and floor moral of the story listen to your employees update my boss tried to lie to upper management to get me fired saying that i was the one that told her how to stack the beer thank god my co-worker jack saw what happened and vouched for me and guys i don't know about you but to me that seems like a very toxic work environment and i definitely would not want to be working there and the last one is from our own subreddit r ripe stories and was posted by user stay zeroes the story is titled lady tried to put political science in my yard it is that time of year where you will see many many political signs posted on people's lawns with things like vote so and so for mayor or whatever and i've never had an issue with something like that until today so let me explain what i mean today after i got home from shopping i saw this car parked in front of my home and there was this short lady putting some of the campaign signs on my yard and i quickly parked my car in my driveway and rushed up to her saying you cannot put those there she of course ignored me and started to get in her car after putting two of the signs in my yard so i walked up to the signs pulled them out and put them on the hood of her car she looked angry got out of her car and said hey what do you think you're doing i simply said what do you think you were doing putting those things in my yard i did not give anyone permission to post anything in my yard nor will i unless you pay me some kind of rent for use of my yard you choose and i stood there facing her with my arms crossed she then said i can put these wherever i want to put them and you cannot destroy them because that will be destruction of private property i left and says i guess i will be calling the police then let's see what they say shall we and i proceeded to call the non-emergency line asking for an officer at my residence because a lady was trying to post political signs in my yard without my permission and she's refusing to take no for an answer after i hung up the lady then smugly said no you're gonna see how wrong you are young lady and won't you be an embarrassed little thing you might get charged for filing a false report don't want that going on your record do we i simply looked at her and said i know my rights and i have the right to have my yard the way i want it without junk i don't support in my yard she got angry at me calling her science junk and turned around and sat in her car waiting for the police all the while she was in her car she was yelling but i couldn't hear what she was saying and she was punching her steering wheel just having a tantrum when the police finally showed up i was still standing outside with my arms crossed and they came up to me asking if i was the one that called i looked at the officer and said yes sir i did and started to say something else but this woman got out of her car and started to scream about how i was impeding on her rights and a bunch of other crap the officer held up one hand and said ma'am you will get your turn to talk when i ask you for your sight but right now i'm talking to this young lady she was the one that called the lady didn't like that and stomped her foot but didn't say another thing i proceeded to tell the officer what happened and then he turned to the lady and said mam is this true did she tell you that she didn't give you permission but you continued to try to post those things in her yard the lady angrily said yes it's my right to post these and she cannot stop me to which the officer said well actually she can't stop you this is her yard so it's her right not to have signs posted in her yard if she doesn't want them there you should know what the law is by now if you're posting these signs in yachts or did you not ask permission to post all the signs you've already posted how many homes have you posted these signs at and how many people gave you their blessing to post them the lady looked uncomfortable and started to fidget then the officer said i thought so so here's what's gonna happen you're gonna go back gather all the signs you posted and before you post them in people's yards you're gonna go knock on their doors and ask them permission and if they say no you're gonna move on you will not post any signs in this young woman's yard and if i drive by and see a sign posted here i will write you a ticket do you understand the lady then nodded not saying a word and the officer then said good now that's settled i will be checking in with each house i see these posted just in case you don't follow my orders so i would advise you to do things the correct way and brush up on the law you may leave now take your signs with you and then he looked at me nodded and said is there anything else i can help you with to which i told him no so he told me to have a good day and got back in his car he did not drive off until he saw the lady drive off and i went back to my car to get my groceries and went inside i don't personally like those political signs and i get that they are trying to drum up support for their candidate or whatever but i'm not a political person and i don't want anything to do with it most of my neighbors are the same way and never allow those signs on their yards either if i vote for someone i don't stick with whatever part he is running i go with the person who i think will do a good job and i don't tell anyone who i voted for to keep arguments down if someone asks me i simply tell them i didn't vote yet anyways i was wondering do other states have different laws regarding these signs and if so what are they well ripe stars i will redirect this question to you because i cannot really answer it but i am also curious and i would love to know have you ever witnessed any people coming up to your property slash your garden or yacht and putting up these signs let us know what you have experienced so far in the comments and unfortunately we have already reached the end of the video i hope you enjoyed the stories today and if you want to hear
