announcements but before I do we have a lot of guests here a lot of special guests here with us the smokes are here with us our missionaries Tanzania how are y'all doing good to see y'all sister Pam you feeling good I'm glad you're here I'm glad you are with us and my man we're the booster over here how are you doing good to see you he's in attendance with us we love him also Russell and Jerri price are here today and in they've been I'm sorry Russell and uh yeah Jerry price yeah Russell and cherry fries off for some reason I thought I'd mess it up with jar with us today they've been through a lot in there a miracle babies here and we are so glad that you are a home they've been through a lot in the past couple of months and we're gonna get Russell to introduce baby Amelia to us this is a miracle baby we're so glad that you are with us today [Applause] Emilia Charlotte oh my how beautiful is that again we're so glad that you are home and that you are able to worship with this today hey this weekend has been absolutely incredible it has been absolutely incredible and as I was all sitting over here and here I go I'm pulling a Ryan Dean getting emotional sorry and I got the sphere to Ryan Dean on me but sorry I didn't mean to throw you under the bus I was trying to deflect a little bit and get a little bears as I was over there I was worshiping and I was just looking at our current students I got emotional because I pushed them for this revive I pushed them I had a vision to have a concert on Saturday and if you know anything about preparing for something like that they prepared their hearts and they dedicated so much time and they worked a lot of late nights and they were up here a lot Saturday working to make that happen and I don't know if you know this or not but we are so blessed to have a talented group of students but not just that an anointed group of students that want to serve the kingdom of God if you would just give them a hand clap because they deserve every bit of it [Applause] I love y'all so much y'all did awesome this weekend and not just the worship team but we had students serving and guest services we had students cleaning up after the services this youth group wants to serve not just this church but the kingdom of God and we are blessed to have such an incredible group of young students I love y'all with all my heart and thank y'all for such an incredible weekend they did great hosts in this incredible revived weekend but also we have our guest speaker brother James Wilson he's also a singer-songwriter and he has touched our youth group tremendously this weekend through his ministry and I just want to say but before I get into that outside this next song you're gonna hear he's gonna sing one of his songs that is on this album if you would after service go out there and pick up his album and support him and I promise you through this album through these songs you're gonna find a lot of your favorite songs life-changing brother James has truly impacted our students through his ministry and I just want to say thank you with the bottom of my heart to him for standing for truth in being an apostolic leader in our day and age because if you don't if you don't know his story if you don't know anything about him this past year has been an incredible season for him he's pretty much become super famous a lot of his songs that are one or two of his songs have hit number one and and sometimes when people become famous and they have a great season they can choose different routes but not only as he's standing for truth and not only is he apostolic he is actually standing on firm ground and he's being a loud voice for our generation and I love you so much brother James for this season that you're in you didn't stray away you didn't go one direction but you stayed in the truth and not just that he is speaking a loud voice for our movement thank you we love you so much and I love him with all my heart and again I want to say thank you for being a leader for our students they look up to you we love you and appreciates you so we're gonna go into this next something before we do I'm gonna have suckers to come and I'm gonna pray over the offering and we're gonna have an incredible move of God today amen thank you Jesus for this wonderful weekend that you have given us God thank you so much for what you've done this far but God I pray today that there are lives that are changed today god I pray that you touch an annoying brother James Wilson today as he speaks to us God that you speak through his through him today clearly and open up our ears and heart and understanding what you want to say to us today God and I pray for every one that gives today God because when we give we know of appreciation I honor them today brother Dean's ministry has impacted my life on several occasions and for me to stand here it is very surreal and what a high privilege and honor it is to be able to stand in the in the place that great man of God has stood so many times and delivered the word I counted such a tremendous honor I'll so give honor to pastor Ryan Dean why don't we give it up for him in this place today and then love him appreciate his friendship very much we had the opportunity to be together and Ontario Camp earlier this year and we just got a chance to connect and you know what I really appreciate real people people that there's no front there's no facade what you see is what you get and I feel that way about who the Ryan Dean I don't feel like I got some front or some professional Pentecostal personality and I feel like I got a chance to meet the real Ryan Dean and I give him honor and I really do appreciate him and his friendship and what he stands for and it is such an honor to be here with you today bro I I counted such a high honor then also I honor this tremendous you team a man haven't they done such an awesome job this week come on can we give it up for them a man such a tremendous job the entire youth team has done hit it my brother Levi's sister Megan golden what a tremendous job why don't we give it up for them one more time I know I'm taking a little bit of time but he deserves honor they deserves so much honor for what they've done this week amen this takes a lot of work to do something like this a lot of planning a lot of Prayer a lot of preparation so I honor them and just thank them for giving me the opportunity to come and hang out this weekend hey man I'm so so overwhelmed with gratitude for that and then also I can't I can't continue on without giving a shout out to this awesome youth worship team this current worship team and they've done a tremendous job leading us in worship this week man you guys are awesome what tremendous talent and anointing you have and you don't find this everywhere you really don't you're tremendously blessed and I just counted a high honor to just be able to step in and sing a little bit with you a man my voice is a little bit shot but you gave me chance anyways amen so thank you so much for the opportunity to do that why don't you stand we'll go to the word of the Lord this morning Matthew chapter 6 we'll be reading verses 25 through 33 Matthew 6:25 through 33 a man such a tremendous honor to be here with you all and I believe that God is just going to do something great before we leave today amen the Bible says in Matthew chapter 6 25 therefore I say unto you take no thought for your life why don't you turn to somebody next to you and say take no thought now I don't know about you but that's that's a little bit scary to me Paul our Matthew rather says listen don't don't think too hard don't think too much about anything that you do on your life I don't know about you but how many lay awake nights sometimes just doing just that just thinking just thinking and Matthew says hey listen don't do that it's not good for you take no thought for your life what you shall eat or what you shall drink nor yet for your body what you shall put on it's not the life more than meat and the body than raiment behold the fowls of the air for they sow not neither do they reap nor gather into barns yet your heavenly Father feedeth them are ye not much better than they which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature and why take ye thought for raiment consider the lilies of the field how they grow they toil not neither do they spin and yet I say unto you that even Solomon and all his glory was not arrayed like one of these wherefore if God so clothe the grass of the field which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven shall he not much more clothe you oh ye of little faith therefore take no Thought saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink or wherewithal shall we be clothed for after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that you have need of all these things verse 33 but seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you why don't we flip over there 1st Samuel chapter 21 First Samuel chapter 21 and we'll be reading verses 10 through 12 for Samuel chapter 21 10 through 12 the Bible says and David arose and fled that day for fear of song and went to a Koosh the king of God and the servants of Akos said unto him is not this David the king of the land did not they see one to another of him and dances saying Saul has slain his thousands and David his ten thousands and this is the passage of Scripture verse 12 that I want us to pay special attention to this morning the Bible says and David laid up these words in his heart and was sore afraid of Akos the king of Gath I want to preach with the help of the Holy Ghost this morning on this title put off your thinking cap put off your thinking cap one more time why don't you lift up your hands and why don't you thank God for his presence that's already here I want you to thank God for miracles and size and wonders that are going to occur in this place right now come on I want you to pray with expectation in your spirit I want you right now to pray like God is going to do a miracle in the name of Jesus God I pray right now by the authority of your word and the power that is in your name that there be releasing in this place of miracles and signs and wonders God I pray in Jesus name that your spirit Oh God even now will begin to move oh god let's Saints be broken let them out just be moved Oh God let strong ghost be destroy in this place in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ let your daunting fall in this place Lord we give you praise and we give you glory one more time clap those hands and then took your voice up and give the Lord a shout of praise in this room right now a man you may be seated if you could can you give me a little more monitor need a little help today with my voice amen now I I was a pretty good kid in school growing up I like to think of myself as a guy that didn't get in too much trouble you know maybe maybe every now and then I would get in a little trouble you know maybe once or twice I gone to the principal's office sinned or maybe it was two or three times or a bit more than that maybe a little bit but I tried my best to be a good kid when I was in school and I remember one time that that I was in school I maybe I got a paddlin twice in the same week and and just I mean I it was now some of you are like paddling do they even do that anymore I don't think they do but I'm old enough yeah and I'm still young but I'm old enough to remember when they would give kids weapons at school and so one day I I got in some trouble and ended up taking two weapons in one week and got in some big trouble and you know you never want to get a paddle in at school because you knew when you got home the beating that you got at school paled in comparison to the one that you were going to get when you got home so that week was not a good week to say the least but uh for the most part was a pretty good kid didn't get in much trouble but there was one thing that could get me trouble probably more than anything that I could do and because I was a musician this thing would be the thing that would get me in trouble I will be in class and everyone would be silent listening to the teacher paying attention to what she was saying and all of a sudden I would be transported from that schoolhouse to the church house and not just a little small church house that I grew up in but I would be in a big church house in front of thousands of people there I was playing the greatest drum solo that had ever been played in the history of drum souls I mean I'm going off in my head and all of it said right here this is what would get me in trouble I start doing this some of my drummers know what I'm talking about because it's kind of like this thing that we can't help it's just kind of this subconscious thing that happens when we start kind of filling a little group come on and we start playing on the drums but I can remember sometimes as I would be doing it wasn't just one time it was several times that I will be doing this they were come a slap on my desk James what are you doing you are not I don't know where you think you are but you're not where you think you are right now you're in the schoolhouse and you need to put your feet on the ground you need to sit back straight in your chair and you need to put on your thinking cap you're in school boy because you see the purpose of school the purpose of school is to hold it's a cultivate one's mental faculties so that their reasoning and thinking skills are competent but can I preach to you on this Sunday morning that we are not in a schoolhouse this morning we are not in the rigid recesses of academia but we are in the house of God and the purpose of the house of God is to hona and to cultivate the supernatural so that miracles can occur and in order for that to happen you got to come into the house of God I'm not trying to think your way out of your situation not trying to think your way out of your but you gotta come in and say aye in spite of what it looks like in spite of what my mind is telling me it looks like huh I'm gonna take my thinking cap offer and believe that my kata is able to do exceeding abundantly above all I can ever ask course thing come on somebody if you make up your mind huh I'm not going to think my way out but I'm gonna face my way out huh I'm not gonna think my way outside but I'm gonna believe my way outta God can do a miracle in your life today I believe that God is still in the business of moving mountains huh I don't care how big your mountain is huh we serve a cada that's still in the business I'm doing the impossible we serve ricotta that's still in the business of doing what people say he cannot to come up I believe in God that still can heal cancer I believe Makara that can I said I believe in a kadhai that can still heal diabetes on I don't care how old and spinner my cada it's not limited by our finite human abilities ER but he is able to do the impossible clap those hands and give God a shout appraiser right now if you believe it time I may not be able to think my way out but I can believe my work I may not be able to see my way but I've got to believe I'm going to believe the Bible says it this way for you see your calling brethren how that not many wise men after the flesh not many mighty not many noble are called but listen but God had chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise that no flesh should glory in his presence what's the scripture saying it's saying when you come into the house of God don't come expecting to think your way out of your situation there's not enough wisdom that you have there's not enough degrees there's not enough classrooms that you've been in to bring you out of some dilemmas that some of you are in in this place but if you make up your mind I'm not gonna take my way out but I'm gonna put my faith and my trust in God God says I've made this situation so bad and so ugly it's so messed up that when you kid out you know there's no way that you could have done it you know my god God did this in my life I should have been dead I said I should have lost my mind but my god I made a waste in my life and for that he gets the glory and for that he gets he harder and for that he gets the prize come on somebody I wouldn't if she would give him praise right now come on I wonder if you would give Him glory right now I can't see my way out but that's you created this situation to bring me out of my situation it's not gonna be the end of me but it's gonna be the beginning of your power and glory [Applause] but you got to do one thing you got to put off your thinking cap I wonder I want you to turn your neighbor and tell them put off your thinking cap come on I want you to tell them with some expectation in your spirit don't try to think your way out of your situation but coming to this place today believing come on coming to this place today believe my family member will be saved my pick my baby is going to come back home come on my spouse it's gonna come back to the church come on god I know it seems impossible god I know what everybody else around me a singer but I'm not looking at what is logical I'm not looking at what makes sense to my carnal mind but I see in the eyes and the spirit a breakthrough on the way up I see in the eyes other spirits something breaking come on somebody it's gonna break it's gonna move it's gonna shift will you take off your thinking cap and believe come on you don't have to feel something to believe something you don't have to see something to believe something but real faith says in spite of what I see yeah it's matter what I feel I still believe come on I feel somebody's pate raisin I feel somebody's expectation rising come on huh he's gonna do it he's gonna bring me after he's gonna make her way out of no way huh he's gonna do a miracle it seemed as if this was another normal day for David there was no handwriting in the heavens signaling an adjournment from the mundane no thundering theophanies that would elevate his expectations no prophecies foretelling that this day would be any different than any other day in the life of David but can I preach to you that today was not a normal day in the life of David but today was the day that David's life would change forever he'd be vaulted there I say enshrined into Jewish folklore by the working of a bona fide miracle and as david marches out to the battlefield to face Goliath he hears a feed that the word of Goliath spoken over him I know that there are some that might argue that this was not a miracle that David was involved in that day because David was not the underdog but was indeed the favorite to emerge from his skirmish with Goliath victorious and to those who would argue the sentiment I agree with you today because no child anointed by God is that anytime under any circumstances the underdog however this does not negate the fact that through the lenses of human logic and reasoning it seemed as if they had no way of getting out so when David arrives in the Valley of Elah and here's the defying challenge of Goliath his response to what he here it's not what anyone expected David did as our scripture text commands us to do as Christians and David took no thought for his life because you see David understood this my response to what I hear will determine what I have I want you to turn to your neighbor I want you to tell them that my response to what I hear will determine what I have my response to what I hear will determine what I have and David goes out into the battlefield a polis lace holes of youthful David David and he responds by advancing to the battlefield to face Goliath ax and can I tell you there was no fear or trepidation in him there was no deliberation or hesitation in him for although David was a youth he was no not Lissa he had slain he prepare in the verdant pastures where he tended to his father Sheba and silenced a mighty lion's roar in those same pastures with the sharpness of his sling and David knew although my back is against the wall and my situation seems impossible and this giant says before me I serve a god that is able to deliver me therefore I'm not going to respond in fear but I'm going to respond to him sada and believe my kata for a miracle in my life can I preach to someone I at the onset of this message today that your response to what you hear will determine what you have you may have heard in this place your family members say they're never coming back to church again you may have heard the doctor say that there is no hope for you you may have hurt your spouse a that they will never live for God Agena but can I encourage someone today and let you know that just because you hear a bad report just because you hear just because you hear the threats of the average Sheri doesn't mean that things have to turn out that way but if someone will make up in their mind in spite of what I see him in spite of what's been spoken over me I still believe that my kata can do a miracle I'm telling you I will step in a cat will show up and show out and do a miracle in your life hello book I don't care how high the odds are stacked against you err no child of cada is another target you are a son you are a Tata Akana you have royalty flowing through your veins and there is no devil in halo there is no force natural or supernatural that can stand up against the blood Volta child of God come on I know that you're going through something right now I know what the enemy is speaking over you right now now I would say kana then there would be somebody that will respond and paper and say huh it's by the what it looks like my God he's getting ready to come through for me if you believe that I wonder if you a clap your hands and kicked out you don't understand my situation your i time i don't--i but do you understand the power of your cada do you understand that there's nothing too big for him do you understand that there's nothing too hard for him I don't know what you're going through right now I don't need to know but I know this whatever it is I I serve a God that's bigger than that situation I serve a God that's greater than your problem come on somebody your response to what you hear will determine what you have your response will determine whether or not you have your miracle today some of us come into the house of God Lord Lord the devil's after me God was trying to take me out Lord you don't know what I'm you don't know what I'm facing don't you know today God I'm kind of I'm kind of joking with you a little bit but I'm not trying to make fun I'm just trying to help us understand that sometimes we come into the house of God and we come in and we start complaining we start whining and god what's looks at us sometimes it's listen I know what you're going through I know what you're facing right now but if you make up your mind I'm not going to respond in doubt I'm not gonna respond in fear I'm not gonna respond in the way that the enemy would want for me to respond but I'm gonna shock the devil I'm gonna do something that I've never done before and I'm gonna take my thinking cap off and I'm gonna get a little bit wild in my faith I'm gonna get a little bit bold in my faith because I believe that if I to God just like to a miracle in Elijah catches might open a tour in my life God's just by to reach down and touch my family member come on somebody your response will determine what you have come on respond worship respondent praetor couple responded that I'm not gonna wait to the battle is over but I'm gonna shout right now I'm not gonna wait it to the battle is over but I'm gonna rejoice right now come on I may be Talent but I'm not how to I may be in over my head but I'm not finished my kana is still able to do something in my life if you believe that I would if you were worship like here right now how would a few praise like it right now how would if you give God praise I'm coming out - I'm coming after that devil thought he had me but I'm making a decision I'm coming out I will be victorious huh no weapon formed against me shall prosper I'm leavin with my miracle today you are more than a conqueror you are head and not the tail you are a father and not Beneatha come on that table is a liar God can't do something in your life today my lord I feel somebody getting ahold spit right now I feel somebody in their spirit right now st. dev or you thought you had me here you thought you had me pounder but today my life is gonna change because I'm making it I'm making a decision I'm responding in hater in spite of what I feel in spite of what I see I'm not gonna let that dictate my response but my response will be hold faith and trust in the Lord for my miracle suppose don't think your way out to praise your way out don't think your way out to worship your way out so you can't think your way out so you gotta believe your way out a la boqueria Hamas and aya omona I feel something shifting right now when the Holy Ghost that feels something shifting right now in the spirit realm come on what you're doing right now huh as your servant notice to every temple that's been afflicting you huh that I may be down right now but there's coming to tell you where I'm coming out to I may be weak right now but there's coming a tip where I'm going to give you a run for your money there's coming a tell you where I will see the salvation of the Lord in my life [Applause] you see I grew up in a home of a man that was really good at putting this thinking cap on my dad wonderful man is an engineer graduated from Mississippi State University Hill State I mean I thought for sure I was about to get pummeled right then my dad Mississippi state alone from the engineering program and if you know anything about engineers you know that they are very analytical people they are thinkers if something doesn't make logical sense to them they just don't do it I can't tell you how many times I would look at my dad and say dad hey can I do this me be like that just don't make sense man everything doesn't have to make sense you know I'm like on the complete opposite end of the spectrum I'm a creative I'm kind of all over the place you know my head is in the clouds sometimes I'm daydreaming about all the wonderful thing wonderful things that can happen if you just take a chance my dad is just like it's just not safe but that's the way my dad is if it's not safe if it's not if it doesn't make sense he doesn't believe in it so you can imagine how hard it was whenever God started to get a hold of my dad for him to really grasp and understand this whole Holy Ghost thing so one day my dad walked into an Apostolic Church with my mom and they had been before and they had never really experienced God before you know like like others had and so I'm sure my dad was thinking man well this is also but I just don't know if this is real this just doesn't make sense to my thinking so as a college student and my mom they're about 21 22 years of age they walk into this building a little bitty church and Starkville Mississippi and as the worship service is going my mom leaves the pew where my dad is that goes to the front lifts up her hands and begins to worship God and right there in the beginning and right there in the very front of that church God reaches down and miraculously feels my mom with the Holy Ghost for the first time she big worshipping and praising God and everybody was so happy for her except one person my dad she went back to the Pew and as she's standing beside and he's looking at her life have you lost your mind and he said what happened to you and she said I got the Holy Ghost he said you got what she said I got the Holy Ghost I went up there to the front I lifted up my hands and I began to speak in other tongues for the first time as God's Spirit filled me my dad said you have got to be you mean to tell me that she went up there to the front and you spoke in a language that you have never heard before she said yes I promise I'm telling you it's real God just filled me with the Holy Ghost he said all right he said I want to talk to the pastor you just got to know my dad this is just how he rolls so my dad walks into the pastor's office and he says listen here brother Childers he said my wife just told me that she was filled with the Holy Ghost that she spoke in tongues what do you have to say about this brother Childers looked at my dad and he said listen here bro I didn't tell her that she got the Holy Ghost she said she got the Holy Ghost why don't you ask her and so in that office again lecture my mom and says listen are you you mean to tell me you got the Holy Ghost she said yes Ron I'm telling you it is real I got the Holy Ghost I spoke with tongues and my dad said I'll tell you what he said that the Holy Ghost is real he said I'm coming back tonight and I better kidding and he walked out the office because you see my dad had a very logical way of thinking but in that moment he made a decision I may not be able to understand everything about this but I'm gonna give God a chance to do something in my life and in that moment he took that thinking cap off and when he walked out the door of their house that day he left that thinking cap that home see that's what some of you need to do in this place today you may not be able to make logical sense of it but can I tell you believe it's not some huge emotional thing it is a choice that you make up in spite of what you see it is a choice that you make in spite of what you're going through that my god I'm gonna give you a chance to do something in my life it's so that night excited telling this story that night as my dad went into that church he did not come in with his fingers twiddling his thumbs he didn't come in with his arms crossed but as he came to that service that night he came with expectation in his spirit he came and God I'm giving you one shot now I don't I don't I don't recommend you giving God an ultimatum today that's not what I'm recommending but you just got to know how my dad rolls that's just the way that he is he said God you got one night and if you don't do it tonight I'm out but tonight I'm gonna worship you with all of my heart tonight I'm gonna praise you with all of my strength and tonight I'm believing that you're gonna fill me with the Holy Ghost and so we came into that service that night and as worship service was going he was praising and he was worshiping God he was giving God glory and giving God honor can I tell you that during the worship service like my mom he didn't get the Holy Ghost the worship service passed and my dad worship and he prays and he gave God glory and honor and he didn't get the Holy Ghost but you know what he had made a decision God believing it to the end of this night and at the end of this night if you don't do it I'm out but I'm believing you and so as the preaching went on brother Childers preached a message that night I know God can and but Willie and he aimed it right at my dad I know God can but Willie and my dad in the in the middle of that preaching was a many brothers a man I believe that God can Amen I believe that God will and the first time he still stood up and said amen and he didn't get it and it wasn't the second or third time several times during the course of that message he stood up getting behind the preacher ain't manning the preacher believing yes God that you're gonna do it in my life and one time he stood up to say Amen just as he had done many times before but this time when he stood to his feet and threw his hands in the air the Holy Ghost hit him like lightning and all of a sudden forcefully he began to speak in other tongues I as the Holy Ghost I gave him utter it son and he begin to worship and praise God and say it's real it's real it's real it's real it's real it's real a Holy Ghost is real come on somebody but that happened what he made up this mind I've taken my thinking cap off it doesn't make sense I can't understand that I don't know how I don't know where but I believe that Carter it's gonna do it in my life I wonder right now if you will tan son like you're gonna get your miracle I wonder right now if you were worse someone like God is caught it or not I can't see my way out but I believe come on some of you have loved ones that need the Holy Ghost come on take your finger cap off and believe that today's it's gonna be the tale that they're going to get it for those of you that need the Holy Ghost it's real real it's real sake you're thinking cap off and believe it's real it's real come on God can do it for my dad probably the most logical person that I know if God can do it for my dad one of the most principled and logical and Boxey dudes I know God can do it for you in this places but you gotta make up your mind I'm gonna move behind thoughts [Applause] so we find that David moves beyond thinking into faith and slays Goliath of David I wish that I could tell you that from this woman home that he was always this courageous always this bold that he never doubted that miracles such as the slaying of Goliath never died in the life of David but if I were to say this it would be telling a lie for miracles at one point did die in the life of David we find in chapter 23 of First Samuel a very different David that we find in chapter 17 and this chapter we find David fleeing for fear of King Saul you see Saul jealousy of David's victories had caused him to seek David's life and so David flees to the one place you know Saul will not pursue him to a Koosh in the city of Gath and King Ankush was the king of the Philistines and death was the city from which he reigned and so David that courageous warrior that we find in chapter 17 now is seeking shelter amongst the very enemy that he had defeated numerous times before hoping that no one would recognize who he was but when miracles have been performed in your life you cannot remain in obscurity even if you want to and davis goliath miracle had become the stuff of legends not only a much to israel iz' but also amongst the Philistines so it did not take long for the Philistines to recognize who David was they say in verse 11 this day the king of the land did not they sing of him in and dances saying Saul has slain his thousands and David his ten thousands and it is at this portion of a narrative that I want to draw our attention to for the next few moments of this message for here we find the culprit for the death of miracles in David's life upon hearing the words of the Philistines this time David's response is very different than his response upon hearing the words of the Philistine giant Goliath the first time when David hears these words this time the Bible says in verse 12 and David laid up these words in his heart and was sore afraid of a kiss the king of Gath the inochi translation says it this way and David thought about what they had said he dwelled on it he meditated on it before he had responded in faith there was no hesitation with Goliath the just sheer courage and boldness but this time he begins to think about it he begins to think my lord if I don't get out of here they're gonna take my life if I don't do something about my situation they're gonna kill me they're gonna take out my life and I got to get back home to my wife I got to get back home to my family I got to do something about it because they're going to kill me they're going to kill me they're going to kill me and David begins to think about his situation the Bible doesn't say how long David had time to ponder these words spoken to him by the Philistines but can I tell you what's long enough for him to become comfortable with him long enough for him to take ownership of his doubts long enough for him to lay up these words in his heart why David thought about these things this time when only four chapters earlier he had responded courageously in faith I cannot really tell you but I can tell you where David's miracle died davus miracle died when he allowed human logic and reasoning to outweigh his it would have been nothing for God to deliver David out of the hands of the Philistines had they attacked him if God used Simpson to perform a miracle by single-handedly killing one thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey before David ever came along can I tell you it would have been nothing for God to do it I can if God had used David to kill Goliath just four chapters before I it would have been nothing I forgot to give him a miracle again but because the name is false an opportunity for a miracle time I've come to preach to somebody in this room today that human logic and reasoning our killers of the supernatural when we allow our minds to dwell on just how hopeless how impossible how ineligible we are for a miracle that is when our miracle dies but I would to God that there would be someone in this place that says I don't know how I don't know when I can't see my way out right now but I'm just crazy not to believe that my kata is going to do a miracle in my life somehow about somebody if he can pull back the waters of the Red Sea so that the Israelites can walk through on dry ground I can do a miracle in my life if God can speak her through a donkey he can speak to me today if Cara can take a Salah and change its name to Paula and fill it with the Holy Ghost my Dada can fill me up with the Holy Ghost today I so I'm not going to let my logic I'm not gonna let my reasoning make me ineligible for a miracle but in spite of what I think it's spite of what I feel today I'm making a decision I will believe my car for a miracle come on huh I know you can't see it right now but don't let your Logica make you ineligible but believe in spite I don't understand her why I God will love me in spite of all my flaws he doesn't make sense to my logical brain I don't know why my Connor will baptize me with the Holy Ghost in spite of everything that I turn but you know watch out it doesn't have to make sense for me to testify today that five that twenty years ago huh that's a five year old huh God filled me with a baptism of the Holy Ghost and my life has never been the same since it doesn't make sense I I can't comprehend it I can't explain it but I know how I have been witnessing that Cotta can do come on somebody your response to what you hear will determine what you have don't respond by relying on human logic and reasoning or respond and faith reliance on God I find it very interesting of this story that before they even threatened David's life before the enemy ever opened his mouth before the enemy ever told David anything David had already convinced himself that God couldn't do something in his life the Bible doesn't say that the enemy came to David threatening him say hey we're gonna take you out you don't belong here the Bible simply says they begin to talk about what God had done in his life they begin to I believe that they were fearful they were like what is this man doing here this is the man that killed Goliath this is a man that God's hand and anointing is on mythili and the enemy began to tremble and Shake in his boots but because they began to think about things a little too much David began to think the exact opposite of what the enemy thought about him can I tell somebody in this place I bet the devil is shaking in his boots right now some of you are like oh my goodness the Devils get ready to take me out if you were just understand just how fearful the enemy is of you come on huh the enemy right now is shaking in his boots aina if they get ahold of this message on something's going to happen I'm going to be in trouble if they get ahold of this message something just might break in their life if they come on somebody the enemy has no authority over you you have the Holy Ghost the power and the spirit of pada but your response has to be that that says I believe my god would you a miracle in my life even begins to swell some of you right now you've been in your thoughts so much God you can't you can't do it God this seems impossible God you're dwelling instead of focusing on God focusing on the miracle worker you're dwelling Oh preach to someone today now you can always tell somebody who's begin to dwell on their down a little bit too much you say how I'll tell you how their behavior begins to change the Bible says that when David begins to dwell on it's doubt a little bit too much David begins to act a little weird David begins to act a little different Davis behavior begins to change you can always tell people that are struggling with doubt because their behavior changes saints of God that used to believe in God for the supernatural now become pessimistic unbelievers who lives whose lives are devoid of miracles Saints you used to be the first one to lay hands on the sick are now sitting with their arms crossed in service why because they begin to think a little too much they reason too much they consulted too much with themselves you could always tell who's been consulting with themselves way too much just look at their behavior listen if that's you in this place I haven't come to preach gloom and doom to you I haven't come to meet you up today but I've come to remind you that there is a God that is greater than your thoughts there's a God that is greater than your situation but you got to give him a chance you got to give him a chance and this rumor you got to quit thinking your way out of it and you've got to start faking your way into it you got to let God in your life you got to consult God don't let your miracle die don't let your promise die but consult God in this room today I hurry I hurry musicians you can come I feel like God is getting ready to do something in this place the Bible says that after David consults himself that his behavior changes and a miracle dies in the life of David but again I haven't come to preach to you gloom and doom today I've come to preach to you a message of faith and hope if you're here today and you're like David and you've had that old thinking cap on for a while and miracles have died in your life just like they did for David and your behavior has changed you grew up believing in the old time way you grew up believing that God could do that type of thing that I've been preaching about today you grew up in this and you want to believe I can but this old thinking cap of human logic and reasoning have killed miracles in your life if that is you today I have very good news for you our God specializes in resurrecting miracles I said our God specializes a and resurrection communities or maybe maybe just maybe you've never been in around anything like this maybe this is your first time in the house of the Lord or your second third for time maybe you're new to this maybe you don't know God maybe you haven't been around God your entire life and you've walked around with your thinking cap on believing that God is incapable of loving someone like you before you ever really have a chance to experience miracles the world through its systems of beliefs have caused the death of miracles in your life come with a word of hope for you today and that our God specializes and resurrection miracles if you've never received the Holy Ghost today arkhan specializes and resurrecting miracles if you've never received healing before heart kada specializes in resurrecting we find that even in Samuel chapter 23 faces a familiar foe for the David faces a familiar fold that he had faced so many times the Philistine army but this time David remembers I tried this whole human logic and reasoning deal before and it didn't work out for me I tried my best to think my way out of things this time and it didn't work out for me so this time I'm going to take my thinking cap off I'm not going to worry I'm not going to fret I'm not going to have a nervous breakdown and I'm not going to get myself in a situation where I begin to doubt to consult my god and ask for his the Bible says the First Samuel chapter 23 verse 2 therefore David inquired at the Lord saying shall I go up and smite these Philistines and the Lord said unto David go and smite the Philistines and stayed a lion you see when David stopped relying on his own human logic and reasoning to figure out how to handle his problems and consults God God says David I'm gonna resurrect miracles in your life you're gonna be victorious come on no weapon formed against you shall prosper David my hand my anointing is on your either if you had only consulted me before if you had only given me a chance before I would have done it but now that you're consulting me now that you've given me a chance I'm going to make a way out of no way in your life from the priests to someone today that if you were quick trying to figure out how God will work everything out in your life and turn to God God will give you victory in this place if you quit consulting yourself and begin to enquire a consult guy God will do a miracle in your life because you see human logic and reasoning cannot keep miracles suppressed when someone makes up their mind that they're going to consult God can I tell you that the greatest miracle of all time Jesus Christ manifested in the flesh what greater miracle is there than that the fact that a God could come down a god that is not bound within the confines of time and space and infinite God to whom there was no beginning and there is no ending how is it possible that a God could come down and rope himself in flesh and be born of a virgin what greater miracle is there than that this miracle the greatest miracle of all time Jesus Christ could not be kept down by human logic and reasoning you see human logic and reasoning did kill the greatest miracle of all time at one time the Jews couldn't wrap their mind around the fact that fits Jesus the carpenter's son Joseph little boy you mean to tell me that this little boy is the Messiah you mean to tell me that this is the one that's going to take away my seats you mean to tell me that this is the one that is going to restore the kingdom of Israel you mean to tell me that this is the one I used to babysit that boy I used to change that boys diapers when he was a baby you mean to tell me that Jesus is the Messiah the Bible says that they because they could not wrap their minds around the fact that Jesus was who he said he was the greatest miracle of all time their human logic and reasoning could not comprehend it and the greatest miracle of all time was killed by human logic and reasoning but Jesus before the foundation of the world had already consulted with himself and came up with the plan for in the beginning was the plan and the plan was with Cana and the plan was God God had already consulted with himself that when they killed that miracle when human logic and reasoning uh thinks that it's going to win that the grave was not going to be able to hold me huh and that on that third take there would be a resurrection of the greatest miracle of all time and can I preach this someone Tenaya that because of that resurrection of the greatest miracle you cannot have your miracle in this place of Komoda if human logic and reasoning uh could it keep Jesus in the grave what makes you think that it can keep your situation in the grave is you got to make up your mind I'm gonna put off my thinking cap I'm not gonna try to think my way out of my situation God in spite of what I see if that is you I wonder if you were joining me at the front in this right now I want you to come I want you to come with expectation in your spirit I don't know what you're facing right now I don't know what the enemy has told you is impossible but I'll come to tell you today that our God is a God at the impossible our God is a God that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you could ever ask or think but it's according to the power that works within you so if you're coming to the front right now I don't want you to come without I don't want to I don't want you to come with sadness I want you to come with heaviness but I want you right now to make a decision I'm going to come with faith I'm gonna come with expectation and I believe today that my God is gonna do something in my life I'm believing today honey that God is gonna work a miracle in my life I'm believing today that God is gonna pour out the supernatural in my life so here's what I want us to do I believe today that God wants to feel somewhat the Holy Ghost for the very first time so here's what I'm going to do I want us all to pray a prayer for Pintas together the Bible says except or two that if we want to receive the Spirit of God that the first step is that we need to repent of our sins that means making up your mind that God I'm gonna turn away from things that are not like you I'm gonna turn my face and I'm gonna begin to walk towards you that means making up your mind and I'm not gonna do the things that I used to do but God and I'm gonna take my thinking cap off today and I'm going to make a decision that I'm gonna follow after you and I may not understand everything I may not be able to comprehend everything but today I'm making a decision that I'm going to follow after you that's what repentance is repentance it's more than just saying I'm sorry yes that's a part of it but repentance is really saying god I'm going to turn away from what I've been doing and I'm going to turn towards you so all across this room I want this entire place to just become a one big gigantic altar right now and I want everyone in this room they began to repent come on you may have been living for God for forty years but I want you right now to bit repent whoops you're right now to begin to ask God to cleanse you and purge you of anything that's not like him because God is getting ready to pour out the Holy Ghost in this place but before he does and I want us to repent and I want us to ask for God to cleanse us in Washington come on right now would you lift up your voice Church and begin to pray and ask for God to cleanse us in this room come on all across the room would you pray right now god I want to be like you god I want to walk like you God I want to talk like you Jesus I pray that you would cleanse me heareth me God you know my imperfections you know my shortcomings Oh God you know my doubts Lord you know about fears and God I surrender them to you right now cleanse me and wash me right now renew me right now [Music] Jesus that's they won't what we did this morning we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us to cleanse us so in this place if you've asked for God to forgive you of your sins God according to his word has done that in this place today here's the thing at Pentecost I feel like sometimes we kind of rush through this repentance process because we know that that's that there's more to it than just repentance but the Bible says that when one sinner repents that the Angels begin to rejoice so here's what I want us to do and we know this is not the end we know that this is just the beginning and that in order to truly experience biblical salvation you have to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost but there are some people that just took a gigantic step today repenting of their sins and here's what I want us to do I want us to join with the Angels right now a celebration of people in this place that repented of their sins come on won't you just give God praise right now come on would you just celebrate right now those that have taken a step to say God I give my life to you God I can be worship God I give you praise [Music] lift you up right now now that we repented of our sins now we're eligible to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and here's what I want us to do I'm going to pray a prayer of faith over us and there's not anything special and what I'm going to say there's not anything special and what I'm going to do is simply a faith word that is going to be spoken and as that word has spoken over us we're gonna see people in this place to feel with the baptism of the Holy Ghost for the very first time do you believe that in this room today Church I said do you believe that in this room today Church come on come on would you take your thinking cap off and say today we're going to get the Holy Ghost today huh somebody's going to get healed today somebody's going to get delivered so when I get done bringing this prayer of faith the musicians and the singers are gonna begin to pray and when I say in Jesus name I want us to lift up a shout of praise I don't care what shout out I don't care what you do I just want it to be loud in this place you can say the name of Jesus you can say hallelujah I don't care what it is but when I say in the name of Jesus I want you to begin to worship and to praise God with all that's within you and if you're in this place and you've never received the baptism of the Holy Ghost when I say in the name of Jesus I want you to throw your hands up in the air I want you to lift up your face to heaven and I want you to begin to worship and praise God with all of your mind listen I don't want you to beg God I don't want you to say please please please please Jesus give it to me the Bible says that the gift of the Holy Ghost is just that is a gift that means you don't have to beg God for it that means I need this for you God wants to give it to you today so when I say in the name of Jesus and we begin to shout and worship I want you to throw your hands up and begin to praise God and worship God and I'm telling you when you do God is gonna fill you with the Holy Ghost you're gonna begin to speak up in a heavenly language don't worry about what it sounds like don't worry about what it feels like but whatever you feel that whatever you say just let it flow as the Holy Ghost is going to give you the utterance today is there anybody that believes that that God is going to pour out the Holy Ghost in this room I wonder if you will clap your hands if you need healing in this room after the same thing at the conclusion of this prayer I want you if you can if it's appropriate to put your hand on wherever the infirmary is wherever the sickness is I I want you to put your hand there and I want you to begin to pray and I'm telling you in this room there's gonna be faith that's gonna be released in this atmosphere you're gonna be healed if you need deliverance you're gonna be delivered on why because God is here and where kotti is a miracles happened where the presence of the Lord is a signs and wonders happen because we're going to take our thinking cap off one more thing I want you to turn your neighbors I want you to tell them now listen here we're getting ready to pray but before we do I want you to take your thinking cap off turning your other neighbor and tell them before we pray I want you to take your thinking cap off I want you to believe that God is going to do the impossible now if you're gonna do that I wonder right now if you would throw your hands in the air and begin to worship God right now God by the authority of your word and the power that isn't your name Jesus huh I command right now for there to be healing in this place huh I released a supernatural gift of healing in this place I let miracles and signs and wonders a be released in this room ah let every single soul that is not been filled with the Holy Ghost be filled with the Holy Ghost stop right now as your spirit gives them the utterance in the name of Jesus now lift up your voice and begin to worship now lift up your voice up praise now lift up your voice he ever talk about Somalia the Holy
