Pokemon Ultrasun Hardcore Nuzlocke but I Can Only Use Black Shinies!

shiny pokemon are one of the most beloved things about pokemon and since i think gen 6 i believe they started choosing the shiny coloring of pokemon gets leading to a lot of cooler shinies a lot of trainers like pink shinies or red shinies there's definitely pokemon who don't look so great in my opinion in those colors but i think we can all agree that black shinies pretty much have no flaw to them i mean i'm willing to bet the majority of you love this guy right here i don't blame you the shiny is amazing heck even umbreon is just black but with a change in its secondary color and i bet that's a lot of people's favorite shiny so why not do a hardcore nuzlocke of one of the hardest games with black shinies only i just want to give a shout out to cga who did a video of black chinese and x and he's the inspiration for this video go watch this video because it's perfection and i will leave the link in the description if i do remember i actually wasn't going to do black shinies in fact i was going to do red chinese but good old rj beat me to it so shout out to him as well as always the shiny rates have been increased for my videos and if you guys do enjoy a like would be greatly appreciated but anyways let's get started shall we so we start off in the alolan region sleeping away in this beautiful room i wonder what mom does for a living our first black shiny is going to be rowlet as he has black wings not now of course i mean as a decidueye it didn't take us too long and he's not black yet but he will be eventually rilet shiny is actually really great i'm going to be naming my pokemon after my viewers again so this one was named myth from here i immediately went to go catch our next shiny which was a magnemite in the trainer school we did have a chance to find zoroa in here which i guess could be considered black magnemite is great as well but i won't be evolving it into a magnezone down the line because it kind of just loses its black features it's okay though magnetone within a violate should be good i named him chief and continued into the school where we have to fight this girl so i always make the level cap the grand trials because it's just stressful to worry if i'm about to over level in the earlier parts of the game also this fight is very tough if i'm a low level of 13 especially in this run where she has a litten fortunately for us linton didn't do much with his ember and our thundershock was a two hit ko our first try was already up and i led chief at level 15 who just tanks attacks from these two our thundershock was doing about a third of gum shoes every time and we did have a citrusberry on chief overall it wasn't too bad of a fight now in sun and moon there's a feature called island scan and you can scan qr codes and citra so i did that here on a sunday so that we can get a charmander yes i know i know everyone's favorite pokemon and that shiny is no joke when it's the charizard we did run into a couple of other shinies before we got them but no worries they don't matter at all eventually we got our little fire lizard to shine and he's beautiful halluci can also be found here but thankfully he's a five percent encounter rate i guess i'd be fine with either one though so i named this one after you sky gazer since it was fitting and onward toward our first hal fight chief actually managed to destroy both populio and noibat and i figured i might as well let sky gears to get some action to finish off that pathetic pikachu come on how there's so many pokemon in the area and you choose a pikachu there's a chance to get a salamance at this point in the game and you choose to ignore it myth was our best choice for holla since we have roost and workup also revenge doesn't do too much to us where it's a problem that is if it doesn't craze i got all the way up to plus 5 attack and he left us at just 9 hp keep in mind i had already used the citrus berry at this point and one razor leaf was enough to take it out when makuhita came out i didn't know if i could live a fake out but wow that was close and i was able to get a roost off this was still scary since arm thrust hits multiple times but he only hit three so i could roost three times to be healthy for cabral for me i worked up once more for plus six and got an unnecessary crit on makuhita kobrala only used lire in pursuit which was dumb on hollow's part and two razor leafs were able to wrap this fight right up with that well-deserved victory myth evolved into a dartrix the teal coloring is so good on arriving on akala island i was going to go for an eevee which was the five percent but i ran into a picky peck instead which doesn't change its shiny to black since its body is already black in its original form regardless that still counts so i had to catch it i don't think i've ever used a two cannon before i named this one david since the comments name was david pickering and pickering and picky peck were similar names so i instantly evolved this thing into a trumpeak and i gotta say i think i like trump way more than two cannon nothing really happened in our second half fight except his evie got a crit on us but we were fine gladian was right after this and my man is going bald with that hairline david is actually pretty good for this point of the game he was able to learn brick break so this fake zubat can't even live one a pluck can take out his regular zubat and type donald did get his weak but he was a nice three hit ko now i wasn't using z moves in this run for a change of pace since i always used them so i couldn't just fly any mz araquina to death however i led david to pluck the wackenberry off of it and his bubble in the rain did a lot of damage to us i did evie train him in attack evs and speed from here i went into chief who took a big bubble on entry which was scary and luckily the mask brain just used stun spore which doesn't affect us at all i also ev trained chief with the max special attack here and speed so racquet without that walk and berry stood no chance and after all that the only thing that was left was this water bug this thing doesn't have any water type moves so sky gazer easily took it out with two dragon rages kiawi was up next and he has two annoying pokemon you have to fight before the trial but with david in the front i could kill them and roost to make sure i was healthy totem is no joke having a thick club and boosting its speed from the totem aura whenever i fight this trial nine times out of ten he goes for detect on that first turn so i decided to get a free work up off he did in fact do that and out came selazal the reason i let david here was because i could teach him thief to yes do super effective damage but to also take that thick club away which boosts his moves a lot thankfully salazzo only used poison gas and marowak flamewheeled so our trumbeek is still very much alive it's best to just switch here and i ended up going into chief since a hundred percent selaza was going for a venoshock since i'm poisoned and i had a feeling the merrimack was going to use detect i predicted both things correctly and now chief is in completely for free this was basically to bait both of them to use their fire type moves so that i can go into sky gazer and take less than half from both of them i went for a rock 2 monster lazzle and it used poison gas again thankfully and that marowak used brick break making us pop our citrus berry getting that thick club off is crucial for this fight now i feared the same scenario from before so i went to the chief once again and boom these guys are complete idiots i just needed to pray i could live a flame wheel as my magnemite isn't sturdy and i had speedy vs on it so we would definitely outspeed selaza for the ko we lived on 8 hp and selazal sorry my friend but you're a bonehead now you might think i'm crazy for going into myth here but don't worry i have max hp evs and i had roost in case plus leftovers there was a chance we died here of course doing this but i did go for that ominous wind as he detected and went for it again as his flamewheel got a super low the hope was that we predict when he detects to roost but we straight up cut an omni boost from the ominous wind as he disabled it with his cursed body ability now we can really roost and there goes that detect we absolutely tanked the flame wheel so i used work up and then roosted once more so that we can ominous win again at plus two special attack an ominous win was able to finally finish this trial right up wow that was definitely a tough trial but luckily most of it was calculated now you'd think after going through that a trainer would take a bit of a break and enjoy the sights here in hawaii but no we're going to straight up take on marlo's trial so this lurantis is pretty tough and to make it annoying it boosts its speed by two it also has a white herb for her solar blade turn one i went for a workup as her ex scissor actually crit us turn two she did go for that solar blade which even though we resist still does a ton of damage i did pop a citrus berry and our pluck did a pretty good amount of damage thank god that kecleon screech missed since it's a terrible move now i knew laurantis would use synthesis since it's low and it did so our pluck got her down to the red the unfortunate thing is that right after the little chameleon got up a sunny day which lets her restore way more health now did it matter though no because we straight up got a crit for the ko i was just going to sack david here but that works too for the keklian i just switched into chief who with a couple charge beams and magnet bombs got him super low then sky gazer just cleaned up with a dragon rage these early trials shira are pain in the butt i was kind of scared taking on olivia with these four pokemon so i went to the melee melee meadow to sos a cottony as whimsicott is kind of black i guess i mean his body is brown but it's pretty dark so i'm accounted this was pretty fast and i named her muffins since she's fluffy luckily she has prankster and ivy trained her in hp and special attack right after this i evolved our lovely david into a ferocious two cannon alright we can't avoid her any longer olivia starts off with an anna wreath as i go ahead and lead with my magnemite this thing can't do much to me so i thunder waved and i've played this game many times to know that she's going to use a full heal so i just went ahead and thunder waved again after i use reflect for some physical defense i go straight into muffin who unfortunately can't evolve until the third island henry theater has metal claw which is super effective but i just charmed and she actually missed which was funny from there i lead seated her for some added health every turn and began growthing to get to plus 4 special attack she didn't end up getting an attack boost or critting so we were able to take her out with a giga drain getting some health back the leap is her second pokemon and two giga dreams can take that right out liken rock actually gets obliterated as well that was pretty easy if you guys ever find yourself playing these games just catch a cottony it's olivia's worst nightmare our next shiny was over at heiheia beach and i have no idea why i randomly encountered this when i should have just sos for it but oh well after a long time we've probably found my favorite black shiny ever something about black sand really gets me going i named it ressa and she was evie trained in special attack and special defense since it lacks in that department let's go magnemite is evolving this is great since the evil light is perfect for him alright on the second island we're actually greeted by howe who wants to battle and this battle is a pain every time but i think i've planned this out pretty good how leads a barriony sometimes it'll use its z move sometimes it won't it didn't this time around so we got a razor leaf off and he did nothing to us hal likes to switch around a lot so he immediately went into flareon when he realized he couldn't do anything against the all-powerful myth all right i guess i should have predicted that but either way it's going for a fire fang so i can go into sky gazer to tank that from there i dragon range once and his fire fan got us to pop our citrus berry from there another dragon rage can finish that off now there's no way it doesn't use his z move here and he did so myth took that pretty well and now he can just roofs off the damage no problem as well as taking out briony after this annoyback comes out and david completely bodies it and i switched into ressa on raichu and she did not like that psychic at all so i had to go into chief who could resist psychic and try attack this mouse to death taurus was his last chance at a comeback and my team was pretty beaten up so i went into muthan taking a big chunk from a horn attack i did have a citrus barrier which was good and i began charming you never quit so with this tauros at minus two attack i was going to switch but decided to stay in to see how much giga drain did it didn't do much and i think i was just going to sack here but i went for a leech seed and it missed can't believe we lived on 4 hp and i decided hey you should live from here i went into wrestle which i guess i just forgot was ghost type and got her in for free on a horn attack and this would bait it to use pursuit which thank god we lived and now freely can come in david who beat blasted the toros from where he was at i definitely shouldn't have played with muffin's life like that there's always options people never try to rush the fight like i just tried to do the electric trial was up next and wow that's one chonky mouse why do you look like you're gonna eat my face off this was our easiest trial yet because sky gazer is just that much of a boss that he was able to destroy the thick boy in one shot skarmy met the same fate our fight with guzma was actually really easy and directly after we finally have our black wing shiny he looks so sleek speaking of evolutions i finally got a sunstone so with that we have our beautiful whimsicott that's so weird like it looks black but i also know it's like brown muffin here is dope since i was able to charm mimikyu for the next trial with prankster i go first before it even attacks then it can leach seed in case and banette isn't too much of a threat from there we just break the disguise and charm right after popping our citrus berry the banette did curse us so i had to switch and i went into chief on a play rough we did get willowed but it doesn't matter that mimikyu is down and let's not even mention that banette that was the easiest run i had with mimikyu up until this point sky gazer also evolved after this into this beast i know you guys are loving this one i'm including this plumeria fight because selazo goes crazy with special attacking these so i led chief to flash cannon then light screen for selazo's brutal flamethrower then i use volt switch because i absolutely need a free switch into something and unfortunately celazzo did burn us making our two-hit kill with bulldoze turned into a three-hit ko thus we had the switch i sent out sky gazer and that was that that thing is no joke and it will body my entire team again the gizmo fight wasn't anything special especially with chief critting on the galicia pod with volt switch lady on however was kind of tough i quit again this time with electrical and then just finished his golbat off with an electro ball because i figured zorak would come out next and a flash cannon did decent damage and we came close to death volkswagen didn't kill which sucked but this still got me a free switch into charizard we finished that off and type null came out i roosted and thankfully i did this because gladion crit with crush claw and nearly killed me how many times am i going to live on 8 hp in this run fearing another crush claw i was able to get in myth for free since he's immune and we kind of traded damage with our moves we are faster though so we killed him before he killed us hi bro who's your dealer i need his phone number now before we take on nanu our good old pile of sand evolved into uh more sand i stand by it this is my favorite black shiny now this was a tough fight for us on a sable eye i got up a light screen for the persian later i think i had a likely here on chief then i discharged took a shadow ball and i wanted to vote switch but he read me and went into croco rock this isn't an issue since muffin tanks earthquakes and even with no speedy bees can out speed and demolish the gator with a giga drain now we're back up to full there's that sable again and that also went down to a giga drain big bad persian was his final pokemon and it does have fake out which sucks since that's our last turn of light screen and also i need someone to tell me why leech c doesn't work on persian here i'm missing something and i have no idea what it is i took a power gem and did decent damage with goodrain but the matchup wasn't looking good at all i felt like i still had potential with muffin and i wasn't using david as much anymore so with that being said i sent out david and gave him the boot the job soldier you were great during the early game now for some reason i went back into muffin and i don't know why but what i do know is he got a crit and didn't kill me so when i had muffin in the first time i should have just gotten more damage off with it but oh well now that i was weak enough i swapped him to decidueye and for some reason this guy just straight up didn't use his darkinium z and i totally thought we were dead thankfully we were able to come out on top i could have played that way better bro look at gladian's face when nanu does this priceless honestly guzman is just a pushover at this point charizard just straight up took care of his final three pokemon lusamine was our next victim to our black shiny army and she led a clefable as i led the almighty chief two flash cannons is enough to get that out of the way and i knew lopeny would come out next since it has fire punch so now i just heart switching to sky gazer and she straight up predicts me with the thunder punch what is this mom's intuition our flamethrower did half and i was going to roost next turn which was even better now since she ice punch for whatever reason worth mentioning i had a reflect up which just ran out it doesn't even matter anymore since lucemin is just straight up out of it and uses fire punch girl are you okay from here my lotta comes out and i can easily bring in myth on hopefully a hydro pump icy wind what is the ai doing right now oh and now she uses hydro pump what anyways we pop our citrus berry and a single leaf blade is enough to destroy her up next is beware and the darn thing gets a crit on his zen headbutt as our leaf blade does nothing obviously i have to switch so i send in muffin and she goes for dual chop which we're immune to i think she just straight up k-pop i can't remember if i had choice specs on muffin here but a single psychic killed beware and two finished off liligan you know throughout this entire scene howe's face is hilarious because it doesn't change at all alright we're off to pony island and now we can catch another black shiny based on the charizard we have i bet you guys already know what it is that's right it's great ninja and we just island scan for like charizard and after a bit we found one tell me what you guys like more charizard shiny or grey ninjas shiny i gotta say i like grey ninja's darker black i named him dylan after this comment and i trained him in special attack and speed evies with the team of six we face our next trial komo has all its stats buffed by one which sucks since we can't just click moon blast with muffin instead i like palo san taking a dragon claw and retaliating with a psychic for some chip he does call down neuvern which is better than scissor bressa here takes another dragon claw and pops a citrus berry which lets us live a dragon pulse neuvern i knew those special defense cvs would come in handy now we can get more chip with psychic and since they both just went for dragon type moves i went into muffin and there we go get predicted guys with muffin in for free we can moon blast como all with toy specs and that roselli berry ain't saving you buddy we did take an air slash but this never doesn't have any evs so we can just outspeed for the win good old nanu being unbothered by literally everything now i hate toxic strats but this thing is just way too broken muffin with prankster can go first and get a toxic off but this does mean we have to sack her which sucks but we're about to get a new shiny so it had to be done from here i went into chief fortunately i didn't put protect on chief which i noticed during the fight so i just went with a light screen like i was going to do anyway but protect would have let us stall a little bit more though i guess i just forgot to put it on him from here i went into myth taking a photon geyser and eating a citrus berry now since i messed up pretty bad with chief i figured maybe myth was dead here but we actually lived on 2hp from a smart strike which was huge and i went for a spirit shackle which crits on a crosma has done here if i just protected there was probably a chance something else died on the team so i'm kind of glad it all worked out right after this these weird people offered to give me an alien and after runs of just denying the poor little guy we finally accepted him since if you don't know naganodel has a black and yellow shiny soft resetting did take a while but we finally got him and i named him portal since he comes from a portal in outer space he was trained in special attack and speed mina was our final trial and her battle wasn't really eventful except for the fact that we almost died till grand bowl but that's pretty much it all the captains got steamrolled after i mean great ninja put in work with the choice specs against kiawah and as did charizard with sophocles but i didn't even bother recording soccer please now totem rebombi could pose a challenge especially with the drizzle pelipper but she didn't even get a chance to call it down since chief is a boss and just straight up crit with flash cannon good job pal keep in mind this thing was plus two on every one of its stats so we went straight through that i wish i could say our last grand trial was a tough one but i don't know man the game has just gotten easier for us in the end choice specs for ninja steamrolled everyone up until gastrodon and for that i just went into myth to take care of it all right come on gladion give us some trouble as always that crowback gets bodied by our thunderball and i didn't vol switch since i wanted him to go into lucario which he did fearing an aerosphere i went directly into myth who was immune and then i speared shackled to get him to half i didn't kill him right away since he didn't have anything to kill me with i set up a light screen and then took him out so valley came out next but this wasn't so valley this was zoroark knowing that i went into dylan taking the darkinium z now i just u-turned doing more than half and go into portal he did get us below half but he was way too weak to live anything finally civalli was up and i went into dylan on his fire type multi attack and a skull doesn't kill so i baited that exister and went into wressa he did use it so we're basically in for free we take one crunch and yeah it can't live a single choice spec's earth power alright we've finally made it to the elite four since we have hardscales we were able to teach poi po dragon pulse level them up and evolve them into the ganondo now this is an amazing shiny without hesitation it was time to take on the league i started with mullein like always and he leads his house keys and i just set up a reflect i should have put a lumbery on charizard because we did end up getting paralyzed but oh well and one single flamethrower was able to ko klefki i hard switched into charizard because this would make magazine come out and in turn i could switch into palo san on an electro type move for free instead of using earth power i use shadow ball after taking a nasty flash game using shadow ball lets us get him to half instead of going all the way down to his sturdy where he would just stall with potions so one more and there goes magazone fortunately we didn't get paralyzed a single time and bisharp and metagross got demolished by a choice beck's flamethrower for doug trio i figured he would use sucker punch so i got in myth for free took a sucker punch right after and destroyed these three little heads honestly olivia was a piece of cake dylan took care of armaldo and then you turned on credilly which allowed me to send in portal how do you guys say it create dilly or cradley i think it's cradley i'm gonna say both i was going to set up with nasty plot but she hard switched into her provo pass which was actually great since i can go into rest of the earth power until it eventually died once the cradley came back out i went into portal to set up to plus 4 and yeah everything from here got mopped i decided to skip acerola because i knew 100 kahili was gonna get popped as well the only pokemon that didn't die to a choice-back thunderbolt was manda buzz which was to be expected but everything else yeah they're gonna need a serious trip to the pokemon er after committing pokemon murder acerola was our final elite four member and as with olivia i led dylan killed burnett went into portal and set up and boom clean sweep geez portal you're a straight-up beast literally you're an ultra beast if you don't care about using legends go ahead and use this guy to kill everything no i mean it how has no chance i led myth to kill raichu with the spirit shackle and this forces in flareon which is super easy to set up on we did get burned but no worries we can kill everything at plus 2 special attack and with a speed boost every time thanks to our ability yeah how can't do nothing but smile the pain away okay this was actually super fun black chinese are straight up amazing and apparently they're just straight up amazing pokemon as well i have a newfound
