Pokémon Y Randomizer Hardcore Nuzlocke

pokemon is just about the most rng-based game you can find looking at abilities natures and even just general encounters you can see that pokemon has a lot of random aspects with pokemon being so random already you might be wondering what more can i randomize and to that my answer is literally everything i randomized the locations of pokemon the starter pokemon the gym leaders pokemon and even just trainer names with all of that and much much more i decided i wanted to try and beat pokemon why completely randomized and because you guys love to see me suffer i'm going to be adding on the hardcore nuzlocke rules that you see on screen now with all that being said i'm ready to start the run so i name myself xango and move on to get my starter before choosing my starter i gotta choose a nickname and between these three options shauna gives me i'd rather not be called lil or big for that matter so i go with zmeister it's got a cool ring to it now i gotta go pick my starter and between the three options volcanion is the easy choice but i do really like gunk elder though my nickname volcanion tony then get in a rival battle with sean operator marshall my bad in this battle i find out my ability is turbo blaze which is the signature ability of white kirum on top of that i have two moves with over 100 base power which are sure to do some big damage in the early game after the fight i tell my mom i'm never going to see her again then move on towards the first round on this route i can catch a pokemon and the pokemon i end up finding here is concelder which is really good considering i wanted one earlier i nicknamed gelder emily then find out the nature is attack up and defense down which is pretty solid as i'm running away from marshall in the forest i find myself a trubish and considering a lot of pokemon i find in this run are just trash i'm not going to be including all the encounters i get with that being said there's not much else to do in the forest so i just move on to the first city and get ready to challenge the gym viola leads the battle with lopani as i lead with volcanion right away lopani goes for splash as i go for a steam eruption and it ends up doing about two-thirds on the following turn low pony goes for another splash as i go for a takedown finishing off low pony and leading me into viola's final pokemon plussel plussel starts out by going for a thunder wave fully paralyzing me on that turn and on the following turn she goes for a growl as i get fully paralyzed again she then goes for a second growl as i finally get out of paralysis and i'm able to go for a steam eruption bring plussel all the way down to one hp with that viola heals but it's not enough as i go for another steam eruption finishing off blussel and winning myself my first gym badge with that gym down i'm now able to head into lumio city once i get into the city i battle the professor and after the battle he gives me the option of three new pokemon to choose from it's a pretty easy decision darmanitan is the best out of all three of these pokemon so after picking darmatin i nicknamed him david and find out his ability is sand rush which doesn't really help him too much at this point i go to meet this guy with pointy hair who seems to be always angry i sneak away from him onto route 5 where i meet karina and her awfully weird lucarios after swiftly moving past them i find myself in the grass where i encounter a chest pin this chessmen i catch a nickname james and i look at the ability and it's actually refrigerate which makes all normal type moves ice type moves that could definitely be really useful later in the game depending on who we go up against regardless of all that though it's time for a bunch of story me and marshall move on towards the pokemon mansion so that we can get the poke flute after we trap this fur fur in a corner we end up getting brought up to the top of the balcony so we can watch some cool fireworks and actually really cool after that me and marshall get the poke flute to wake up the snorlax and after waking him up we find out he's actually a she and a semi-sage but since semester isn't really that great i just annihilate her with the flare bleds now i move on to the next route to go in this rival fight and i end up actually encountering a kiram in this fight i was super scared because kiram has dragon rage at this level but thankfully i end up making out just fine with the battle finished up james evolves into uh this thing and after doing that i make my way to the next route so i can catch my next pokemon mudkip mudkip gets the nickname lucas and now i'm able to freely move on to amber town in the town there's not much important other than the fact that i can go to a glittering cave to go fight team flare after defeating them i give myself a sail fossil and find out the sail fossil is actually an aegis slash which originally i was super excited about oh my gosh with ages left on the team i nicknamed her ava then look at her nature and find out it's actually really good jolly is the best thing ages slash could have gotten that's all well and good but when you look at the ability you find out it actually is a horrible pokemon aegislash's usual ability would be stance change which allows her to switch freely between shield and blade form but because i don't actually have that ability i can't actually bring my attack up and it's just permanently stuck at base 50. regardless of that though i move on to silage city now and i'm able to challenge grant for my second gym badge grant leads the battle with wheezing as i lead with david right away i go for a fire punch doing about a third as wheezing hits me with a clear smog doing about a third as well on the following turn i go for another fire punch as wheezing goes for a self-destruct and after blowing up he absolutely destroys david and we both lose a pokemon i don't know why i forgot wheezing hit self-destruct that's just really bad gameplay on my end regardless i switch into emily as grant brings out weirloom with berlumin i just spam chip away hoping to just kill and i end up getting hit by a counter bring me all the way down to 9 hp with me being brought so low i finally make the right decision and switch into age slash who goes for two area laces finishing off reloom and winning myself my really really tough gym battle with that gym down i move on to the next route and deal with some team flare i track them back all the way to geocentral town where they completely disappear and i then battle the next gym leader she's not necessarily difficult to defeat right now but it does take me a while to beat her as after that battle i move on towards reflection cave in this cave i really does mean the world to me and with that being said i'm finally done reflecting and i'm off towards shallow city once i'm in the city i talk to this construction worker who brings up a hiker who really likes ferris wheels and if you know you know after talking with him i move on to the next route so i can catch another pokemon the pokemon i ended up encountering was a regis but little did i know richards is impossible to get in a pokeball so i ended up just running away from the battle this was really upsetting especially considering my very next encounter was a groudon as elf ferrathorn trico and a torquel it's cool though because now i move on to fight serena and after defeating her in a battle i'm ready to go challenge the third gym leader karina leads the battle with pan sage as i lead with emily karina starts out by going for a bullet seed doing minimal damage as i go for a wake-up slap almost one-shotting pantsage because i know corinna is going to heal in the next turn i decide to go for a bull up and after corona heals i'm able to finish off pansage with another wake up slap next comes meowstic and at first i try and take her out with a chip away but i end up doing basically no damage as i got hit by a charm because of this i decided to switch into tony who gets hit by a charm in the switching and on the following turn i go for a steam eruption doing a lot of damage to meow stick bringing him into the red on the following turn meowstic gets healed as i go for a water pulse getting a critical hit and bringing me a stick down to about half after that miyazaki hits me with a side shock bring me down about a fourth and i go for another steam eruption finishing off meow stick last night is carbing and for this i go for a single steam eruption finishing her off and that wins me my third gym badge after that gym battle i make my way to the top of this tower where i have myself a mega bayonet still even with that though i lose my fight to this lately and i then move on to coomeren city once i get into the city i have another rival battle with serena but since it goes just as smoothly as it did last time i'm not even gonna go over it and i'm just gonna go challenge the fourth gym ramos leads the battle with burme as i lead with tony right away birming goes for a protect just delaying the inevitable as on the following turn i go for a flame charge finishing off birmingham in one shot with that ramos sends out his next pokemon ella kid who just gets one shotted by a steam eruption with that ramos is on to his final pokemon munchlax so i just go for two steamer options finishing them off and that wins me my fourth badge relatively easily now that i've got that gym badge i go steal this power plant pass from the steam flare guy and after doing that i sweep team flare with the power plant officially back online i move on to lumio city where i can challenge the fifth gem before the battle started both lucas and james evolved into their respective evolutions and with that i start my battle against clemont he leads battle with chansey as i lead with emily right away i go for a wake up slap one shot and chansey as next out comes fracture fracture starts off by setting up a dragon dance as i go for a wake up slap doing a pretty sizable amount of damage on the following turn i get hit really hard by a dragon claw bringing me all the way down to 47 hp as i'm then able to take up fracture with the chip away with that clamps onto his final pokemon galvantula galvantula starts by going for a signal beam not doing too much as i go for a rock slide bring galvantula down into the red clement then heals as i switch into tony and on the following turn i get hit by a signal beam not really doing much at all as i go for a flame charge bringing call ventula down to half with that another flame charge does the trick as that wins me badge number five now i've got another rival battle with serena on route 14 but again these are just kind of sweeps on my end so i move on to the grass on route 14 and i luckily find myself annoying i name him mitch then find out he's got a neutral nature and analytic as an ability which both aren't too bad i then go to the not so scary scary house and after doing that i find myself in laver city in the city i find out the world is a really cruel place and after that i go challenge the sixth gem valerie leads the battle with pichu as i lead with noy vern i start the battle off by charging up a razor wind as pichu hits me with a thunder wave on the following turn pichu confuses me with a sweet kiss and on that same turn i hit myself in confusion because i'm not really in the mood to deal with pichu for the rest of my life i decide to switch into lucas lucas ends up getting hit by a sweet kiss confusing me and that means i hit myself in confusion of course on the next turn pichu goes for a nasty plot a cycle for a mud bomb that misses and then i break out of confusion as on the following turn after that pichu confuses me again with this weakest and i hit myself in confusion i'm officially done with this infinite pichu cycle so i decided to switch into emily and go for a rock slide finishing off peachy with a one shot next out is marschamp who elects to go for a takedown bringing me down to 82 hp as i go for a wake up slap bring them down to about a fourth march jump is then healed as i go for another wake up slap bringing them down to probably about a third at this point i switch into james and go for a seed bomb finishing off mars jump as that leads into valerie's final pokemon liquor tongue like a ton goes down to a variety of moves by james and with that i win my sixth badge after the gym i move on to go fight team flare again this time in the pokeball factory they once again are just kind of a pushover so i move on to the next route where i find myself a fracture once i catch him i name him logan then move on towards the frost cavern in the frost cavern i save this obama snow then use this mim swine i found to go on to anastar city now that i'm in the city i have another rival battle with serena coming up but again it's serena so i just end up sweeping her as i then move on to the 7th gym olympia leads the battle with bonsley as i lead with emily right away i go for a wake-up slap one-shotting bonsley his next outcomes bgm because i'm really weak to psychic type moves i make a switch into mitch who gets nailed on the switch in so i switch out again this time into tone on the switch in tony gets brought down to almost half as i go for a steam eruption bringing bkm down only about a fourth on that same turn i get hit by a psychic bringing tony all the way down to three hp and at this point i know i have to make a sacrifice if i want to win this fight so i make a switch into logan who gets absolutely annihilated by psychic and this gives me a free switch i use my free switch on lucas and right away i go for a surf doing about a third on that same turn bgm setup with psyca but since it doesn't really matter i just take him out on the next turn with the surf with that olivia is on to her final pokemon chikarita i start out by going for a strength doing exactly half as chickarita sets up a solar beam i was kind of worried here that it wasn't going to kill trigorito with another strength but thankfully i did as that wins me my seventh badge with that i find myself in this cafe where today's special is scramble and who doesn't love that this other guy i talked to seemed awfully aggressive though he said today's special is get out of here or else and i didn't like that answer so after beating him in a pokemon battle i move on to fight the rest of team flair while i'm doing this i end up pressing the wrong button and pretty much blowing up all of geo cinch down and if you look at these houses i feel really bad for the people inside regardless of all that though i've now got my big fight with lysander and his team is actually really easy to beat he leads with a pharaoh thorn which originally really scared me but i eventually take him out with pretty much no issues other than that there was really no worries with this fight at all he ends the battle with an iggly buff who goes down to a single air slash and with that i move on towards my eighth gym while i'm on my way there i really only have five viable pokemon on my team i was desperately searching for another pokemon to add and i found myself a nine tails but i honestly wanted myself a mythical or maybe even a legendary sadly i didn't find one on this route so i just move on to go fight my rivals for the final time and after defeating marshall i move on into snowball city while i'm here i try my luck at some encounters but no dice is now i'm just ready to challenge the eighth and final gym wolfrick leads the battle with wobba fed as i lead with tony wabafet ends up getting absolutely annihilated by two different steam eruptions and after that next out comes blastoise last toy starts out by setting up a rain dance which absolutely petrifies me so i decide to make a switch into james on my switch in blastoise set up with iron defense and on the next turn he set up another iron defense so when i go for my seed bomb i only do like a fifth i decide to go for one more seed bomb bring blastoise down into the red is in the following turn he heals as i set up a bulk up eventually i bring my attack up to plus three so i can go for two more seed bombs finishing off blastoise and leading me to wolford's final pokemon regirock i was kind of scared when he first came out but then i remembered i am at plus three attack so i go for a seed bomb ring regirock all the way down to like one hp regirock then goes for a lock on but it doesn't really matter since he doesn't have guillotine so i just go for two more seat bombs finishing him off and that wins me my final gym badge of this run with all that being said i move on to victory road to get my final few encounters and i'm still really hoping for that mythical sadly i don't get it and i've gotta go fight serena again but her team is cheeks so after sweeping her i find myself in the pokemon league while i'm in the league i actually realized that there's one more place i haven't gone to on this map that's directly next to coomeren city and that's azure bay once i get into the bay i wait for my rappel to run out and i eventually encounter a celebi which is exactly what i was looking for celebi let's go bro that's so hype i nicknamed celebi olivia and at this point with nothing left in the run i decided to move on to go challenge mulva in my first elite four battle she leaves the better with luxio as i leave with lucas i start out by going for an earthquake which easily one-shots luxio as next out comes rimpardos rampardos also goes down to just one earthquake as that leads into tepig tapik's got the ability to download which would have been useful if he was an emboar but sadly he's not so i'm able to go for a single earthquake finishing off topic and leading me to malva's final pokemon slack off slack off goes down to a single hammer arm and with that i win my first elite four battle next up i decide to go challenge seabold and he leads the battle with snubble as i lead with lucas right away i go for an earthquake one shot against nobody's next out is snivy i was literally in the middle of talking about how easy snivy is to be as i get hit by a massive leaf storm doing a ton of damage the only reason i survived this attack is because i put a rhinoberry on lucas and to make matters worse i don't even kill snivy with a one shot out of pure fear i switch into noise burn who takes minimal damage from a leaf storm on the switch in and on the following turn i go for a dragon pulse finishing off snivy with that siebel then sends out latios and for this i'm super scared i don't really have a pokemon that can deal with latias very well so i've just gotta stay in with noivern initially i'm faster than latio so i'm able to go for dragon balls first doing a ton of damage bringing latias down to about a third with that latios decides to set up with a dragon dance and now i'm absolutely horrified on the next turn latios is faster than me and goes for a recovery gaining his hp this allows me to go for a dragon pulse and luckily it gets a critical hit so latios goes down if latios would have gone for a dragon pulse i might have been screwed but thankfully he didn't as now i'm onto magma's own against magnizone i make a lot of really questionable decisions to say the least but eventually i switch into volcanion and i'm able to go for a flamethrower destroying magna zone and winning myself my second elite four battle next up i decided to go fight witchdrum and he leads the battle with clang as i lead with lucas with lucas i'm able to go for an earthquake one-shotting as next out comes makahita against makahita i go for a hammer arm hoping to one-shot but sadly i don't as i get hit by close combat it doesn't really matter though as i take minimal damage from that and on the following turn i'm able to finish off makahito with the serve now goblet gets thrown in and he starts out by going for a mean look as i go for a surf doing half on the following turn i get hit by an air cutter that doesn't do too much and i'm able to finish off golbat with another serve with that which streams onto his final pokemon pikachu and i'm sure you could guess how this goes i go for a single earthquake finishing off pikachu and winning myself my third elite four battle finally i move on to challenge drazna and she leaves the battle with torterra as i lead with noivern right away i go for an air slash doing about half as i get hit by a crunch doing only 53 damage one air slash later torterra goes down and next out comes pharah seed against pharisee i start out by going for an air slash doing half as i get hit by a flash cannon not doing too much i then simply go for another air slash finishing off pharah seed as next out comes up stryker neufer doesn't really have anything that can deal with zip strika so i just switching to lucas he doesn't take any damage in the switching and on the following turn you know how this goes i have earthquakes so i end up one shotting zip strika lucas has been an absolute carry so far in this elite four and with that being said now dresden's on to her final pokemon cactus against cacturn i simply go for a hammer arm and it ends up not one-shotting because she is sturdy and then she ends up hitting me with a needle arm that does all of my hp and that ends up taking out lucas great great love to see it not too happy about that one especially considering how incredibly unlikely that was with lucas down i switch into tony and go for a flamethrower disintegrating character in the process and winning myself my final elite four battle with the rest of the game behind us i move on to go fight the champion in the final battle of this run giant more like technician thomas what a name uh thomas is gonna lead with execute i'm a lead with mitch right away i'm gonna go for a air slash should just insta kill um yeah there's a one shot who's out next next out is vanilla vanilla x is actually a really good switch because i can't really have i can't really deal with vanilla i can i mean i can switch into tony tony's is a good switch see what vanillix has though blizzard that doesn't end up hitting that's really good um it wouldn't done much damage but i mean any damage is alright i go for a flamethrower vanillix is one-shotted who's out next tony's a strong pokemon i'd be surprised if diantha takes him out okay what type is hoopa i don't know i'm not gonna look it up go for a flamethrower see what that does not much wow and that hoop is faster than me i'll go for a steam eruption oh my gosh it just kills that's crazy why didn't hoopla go for a different move i'm sure hoop could have done some big damage whatever i'll go for another steam eruption on glasgow that misses it's fine we'll go for another one that one doesn't miss glasgow goes down why not celebrate celebi hasn't gotten any love yet sophie hasn't gotten any love yet we'll go for a energy ball see which damage that does oh we'll miss him instagram my team is kind of busted not gonna lie my team is kinda busted um i wanna end this battle with tony end this battle like how the run started i mean end it end it with tony i think a single flamethrower is probably going to do yeah and again that's how the run ends with a critical hit after i beat technician thomas and uh yeah that's the end of my randomizer i actually really enjoyed that if you guys want me to do another one of those i will absolutely because that that is probably one of the most fun runs i've ever had i know that i say that with like every run but like this i it i really do mean that it is really this one was really interesting but yeah that's the end of the run if you did enjoy please consider uh subscribing it really does help me out and with that being
