you're doing Jesus conferences and it's this session that gets more views and is more and more demand than any of them put together I think yeah it's really amazing people love to hear answers to questions that they always wondered or hope to ask somebody who's had breakthrough in an area in the spirit that they've not and I know for me this is my most exciting session what an honor to be up here I just want to say to everyone to be with all of you this is like a dream it feels like a piece of heaven to be with people who are heroes you know so can we just honor all of these amazing amazing servant of the Lord or cool yeah one this so before we get started I just like to give what I believe is some prophetic context to this moment and this week you know the Bible says that that Philip went to Samaria in the book of Acts are great signs and wonders many people saved many people healed and great joy came to the city it's an amazing amazing passage but there was a lack of breakthrough in a certain area especially regarding the baptism in the Holy Spirit so Philip had an idea ah we're seeing a lot but we're just lacking in one area let me call them the apostles let's call Jerusalem let's call the mothership you know home base the Bible says the Apostles came and through the laying on of hands many receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and so that's what happens that's what father's carry they come into a region into a culture and they break in through the authority the Lord has given them they break in the realm and the person of the Spirit to be in US on us and all around us and that's what I believe is happening I believe this region as Brian saw yesterday in our prayer meeting Bishop as for those of you don't know that's Brian Guerin there in my opinion is one of the greatest Jesus loving pure holy prophets that I've ever run with actually came out of the Brownsville revival so Brian said he saw a tattoo being stamped in this region that something permanent for the kingdom would be birthed this week so I believe that that yeah and then there what we're hearing I'm finding that God is very involved in our conversations and sometimes what we think our merely conversations are actually points of agreement for God to break in God will sneak in on your conversations if they're about him and he's listening so I'd like to just quickly introduce everyone for those of you who don't know that's Brian Guerin from Baton Rouge Louisiana yeah how many of you know I think some of you might know Bishop and pastor Cathy Thomas possibly pastor John are not who led the Toronto blessing Wow where would where would we all be had the Lord not pour his spirit up Toronto just incredible so many champions today from Heidi - leave - Randy - bill actually Jessica and I just came off a five-month break at Bethel bill would be the first to say where would we be at the Lord nut poured out his spirit and used you Pastor John we just so honor you so on again for those of you don't know this is my beautiful wife who makes me look a lot better Christy Jessica am i right all of you who felt like you had a flamethrower in your face all night last night this is Pastor John Kilpatrick he's bothered and led the Brownsville revival who actually a Brian was touched there Eric Gilmour who does so much with us for those who follow our ministry he was a graduate Daniel kolenda who we are with all the time he was a graduate so many of my friends that I run with came out of the Brownsville school of ministry and we're just so honored to have you here thank you so much pastor Bishop Tommy Reid Wow Bishop Tommy Reid dedicated my wife to the Lord when she was a little baby so 18 years ago that happened and and Bishop Reed is really the First Church of real significance to give this crazy Greek evangelist a shot about nine years ago he called me when so many people had really left Jesse and I and nobody believed in us I had nothing but a jug of water and I put in a closet to fasting and praying and Bishop recalled he said come up here and preach Jesus and I'll never forget when he picked me up at the airport you know a lot of times especially big preachers they don't come to the airport for their guests you know and he was there and he tried to carry my bags for me through the terminal what beautiful humility I said and I can't let Tommy Reed carry my bags I felt like I'd go to hell for that but Bishop Reed actually was the first American church to have my father-in-law so obviously there's history there and really to help launch Marilyn Hickey so he's been a catalyst and helped begin and start the the amazing church in South Korea that the dr. Cho leads there with dr. Cho and was Lester some rolls right-hand man so I think he has something to tell us today yeah it's an honor to have the leadership and she took bishops right is Tim Manigault Tim will field a few questions again Tim has been with us since the very beginning he led souls of fire at oru and actually helped us at our church in Southern California for years and helped my father along with his choirs he's just an amazing faithful brother and I love you and honor you thank you so much so I'd like to begin with with Pastor John or not and Pastor John can you take us through I'm sure it's a long story but can you kind of lead us up to the moment where the Lord poured out his spirit there in Toronto and the posture of your heart prior what you were going after personally and then the moment where you knew something had broken corporately that was at the Lord you know we've always loved the anointing from Katherine Coleman days I was raised Baptist learn from the Pentecostals that there was more and we was pursuing that and we realized Kathryn Kuhlman carried something that was very wondrous and very attractive and so we were really drawn to that because with the reality of the miracles and through that connection met your father-in-law very early on and really loved all of that as many had so our journey was following on from disastrous divorce I would say starting a game with Carol and we went on a mission trip to Indonesia and the Lord so moved and just wrecked as they they just we were undone by their love and he called us to Carol's hometown to plant a church and we did it and we learned a lot of things about getting the heart healed up and how to how to have a revelation of the Father's love through people like Jack winter but we went to Benny Hinn meeting in November of I'm sorry in summer of 1992 and it was like it came full circle because we saw the lame walk the blind seen about a thousand people come to Christ and we're like God we have to have this so he said to me well if you're serious I'll give you two things to do number one I want your mornings number two I want you to hang out with anointed men and women of God and I understood the first and I realized how difficult that was I didn't realize the second was really focused on impartation I didn't quite get that but we began doing that to the best of our ability went to South America with Edsel vocês tour in November of 93 and a dear man there named Claudia fries and anybody know him audio he laid hands on us and the breakthrough that we've been seeking through Katherine through Benny through Wilbur through this one and that one was downloaded into us that day for whatever reason it we came home transformed I heard about Randy Clark who had been similarly touched at a rodney howard-browne meeting i knew Randy personally a little bit so I invited him to come and he came January 20 of 1994 which was a historic day because we had seen little outpourings little out breakings of the Holy Spirit but you know what we just didn't have faith to go for it because you know you try things in the past and it kind of falls flat or it goes for a bit and then stops and we were little hesitant that way when Randy came and I'm telling you the glory of God fell in the room and we just kept going we got to go another day got to go another day and so that's it what do you remember specifically when that glory fell it was pretty normal right up until Randy said so if anybody would like me to pray for you just come on up we're talking about thirty so people on a Thursday night initially and the minute they tried to make a move he fell on the place and so all of a sudden you know this is not Latin America this is Toronto and and people are under the chairs they're between the rows are in the aisles they're they're laughing they're yelling they're carrying on and it's like oh my gosh what has just happened see I was used to one at a time quietly [Applause] not used to it but you know we seen it but the whole room just yeah overwhelmed by God and so we just said this is God I don't get it I don't understand it all but we have to have this when you talk about it now does it take you back to that moment yeah it does and it's hard to remember the intensity that was in the room you have to tune into that weighed on in a moment and then kind of go oh yeah but it was intense scary people ran out and now yeah we had some people run out a couple of days ago and it made me feel good you know I remember dude but don't you like that one it's a little bit scary you're not just too sure like come on God do it again yeah Wow Pastor John kept a tree by the way Pastor John sprained is on a bit working at the house so that's why he's got this it's back and we put a pulpit for him because he's just such a pure preacher we thought it'd be so fitting you know last night you spoke about remembrance and sharing with our sons and our son sons as bill so as bill johnson says so beautifully and he's right the word testimony one of the meetings actually means to do it again when we talk about you know and in the spirit everything is eternal so when we talk about these things they're actually available begins to stir faith in essen so pastor john i know you shared briefly last night but could you take us back to that moment where you felt like the ceiling came off that moment where the lord maybe talk to us a bit about what was in your heart prior to that moment that outpouring and then I'd also be interested to know what what you guys were feeling knowing that the Lord was moving in Toronto and you Pastor John knowing he was moving in Brownsville and what that did for each of you personally had been touched powerfully at holy Brompton in England but Leonard Ravenhill had just died in January of that year of 95 and Steve had preached for me many times many times always been a great soul winner repentance preacher and he was mentored by Leonard Ravenhill and even though he had been touched powerfully at Holi Brompton right before he came to brownsville when Steve came on Father's Day of 95 he looked different he walked different he carried himself different there was something in his voice I'd never heard before and we had been we had been close friends for years I can't tell you how many times he preached at brownsville but that morning whenever he came my mother just passed away and I was out of sorts that morning to be honest with you and he there was something on him there was a mantle I would say there was a mantle that that came on Steve he was just different and of all times for revival to break out it broke out on Father's Day of 95 it was the most it was the most unbelievable explosion that I have ever seen and never been a part of it happens suddenly it was as suddenly we've been praying for two and a half years ironically when we first started praying for revival it felt like it was going to break out at any moment it felt imminent it felt like it was right at hand but as we kept praying for revival it felt like it was almost unattainable it felt like it was a wonderful dream but it was almost unattainable and then the devil began to attack and all the adversaries begin to rise up and that nothing so as a revival drew near and as it was about to break out I had never ever called before anywhere about taking another Church but I was I felt like it was not going to happen Pensacola felt like it's not going to happen at Brownsville and I began to call some district superintendents of the Assemblies of God asking them if they had any churches open so here's the deal if you're praying about something and it feels like it's about to happen it's probably not if you're praying about something it feels like it'll never happen it's probably right at the door and that's exactly what happened revival broke out that morning and it was unbelievable Brenda had been touched at Toronto and I saw someone that's always been the highest of integrity my wife has always been up before daylight all of our whole marriage with her Bible in a Kleenex box in the den of the living room all of our whole marriage and next year we'll be married 50 years [Applause] she's always been prayer warrior but she was so in love with the Lord I'll just tell this very very quickly we won't tape it a moment but I saw when she came in I was at a prayer meeting at Brownsville on Friday and Sunday night we dismissed services and started praying around prayer banners and she came right directly from the airport to Brownsville and whenever I saw her her hair was glistening it was her hair was glistening she's blond-headed and her face was radiating and I just walked up to her and I held her face and as it broom to your faces radiating your hair is glistening no she got to where she said in the morning time I'd leave to go the office at Brownsville and she should be in the den sitting in her chair and whenever I'd come in there would be a wall of tissue around her chair she had moved all day and she was so in love with the Lord she just sat there and weep in his presence all day so one night I had to go to Fort Fort Walton destined to do some business and I came in early and when I came in she had the music home she had vineyard music owned and she didn't know I'd come in the house and I leaned up against the mudroom the laundry room there and I leaned up against the wall and she was whirling in the house to that vineyard music she was dancing in the house whirling and her hair was still glistening in her face was still shining and I stood there if I said well I said Lord I've never seen anything so beautiful in my life I want that I want that Lord and it was just a matter of time revival broke out of Brownsville and I have to say a big thank you to John or not because when he got touched up there and whenever she came home I never seen her act like that and it made me mad and I said I'm gonna call the Ben see what they've done to her but what happened at Toronto with my wife was actually at the beginning of the revival breaking out of Brownsville so let me just say this revival is spontaneous and suddenly but oh it's long sought for but when it comes as worth it all she's such an honor to be here right now I hope we realized that think will tell her children's children about this there's just a little feedback here on this monitor am i hearing that okay just making sure it's not getting swirly in here Pastor John when when you felt the power of God touch you there on Father's Day and you heard that sound can you talk about that I was down below I didn't really want to be there the morning like I said my mother just passed away and Steve was really on fire you know he was all plugged in and I was on below a 110 he was on above a 220 and so he was down there and we had about 1,800 people that morning so about a thousand came forward for prayer and I was just upset because I didn't want to have to pray for a thousand people that morning you know his father's day I wanted them to be able to go home and have lunch with her dad so I let him pray at first I was just resentful I let him pray at first you know with people and he was just going by and touching people and they were following not seen that all my life if you don't Pentecost so finally I got feeling guilty and I thought well I guess I better good honor help him I wonder what my people thinks me sitting up here let him do our work so I actually wrote down off the platform on the main floor and when I walked down on the main floor I felt strong strong I thought it was air conditioning isn't that amazing when God begins to move you think it's the air conditioning is really the Holy Spirit and I felt it whipping around my ankles it was just whipping around my ankles strong and then it began to inch up around my ankles and begin to go up my britches legs and so he he was praying for a big old tall men about six foot eight and I had my hand upon his guy's shoulder and Steve moved on after he prayed for this guy and I just had him handle Steve shoulder and when Steve moved away whatever that wind did to my ankles I couldn't walk for the first time in my life I had no control over my body and so whenever he walked away I couldn't walk and then all of a sudden I heard a sound come from behind me and the only way I can describe it honestly is the way the Bible describes it sounded like a rushing mighty wind it sounded like a rushing wind and I heard it come from behind and whenever it did my legs bowed out just like that and my ankles flipped and I felt it coming between my legs and I had a guy look at me that was saved during my ministry on Easter that year he was a bouncer in a bar used to be a bouncer and he said hey man you need help I said yeah help me back up on the platform because I couldn't walk and so I stood there at the pulpit when he helped me get back up there and I said oh my god so this is what we've been praying for church get in and as soon as I said get in people started dropping like they were being shot it was like people were up in the balcony with machine guns and his people he started dropping I'm talking about wealthy businessmen I'm talking about very all kind of people he started dropping but I'd never seen a movement out of them in 13 years I was the pastor there for 13 years so one guy was my friend he was stoic and I'd never seen any kind of spiritual manifestations out of him although he loved my ministry to love me I saw him hit the floor and roll and I said yup we're in revival so that was that was the beginning on father's day that was the beginning of a five-year revival where God sent he sent the glory back to the church for the nation of America to see what the glory was all about it wasn't just about souls it wasn't just about healing it was about a revisitation to the American Church of the presence and the glory of God yeah I'm Pastor John are not what I'm having to use the last names because they're post pastor John I just find that amazing similarities yet the beautiful differences obviously the father's love was a huge thrust from the heart of the Lord Toronto the Holy Spirit falling and Brownsville on Father's Day it's amazing Pastor John what were your thoughts knowing the Lord was moving down in Brownsville how did that impact you with the to to your heart well we knew we knew there was a connection we were excited for it and part of the reason was there was a barrage of criticism came at us and I'm like god this is so you so sweet so wonderful please don't let this get snuffed out and but it started at that time breaking all over the place our mutual friend Kent got in England he's doing nightly meetings che on out in Pasadena doing 90 meetings and so it started spreading out all over the place and so Brownsville became probably the biggest of all all of that and and so we were happy that this is North America wide but also global and kingdom wide it's an England it's gone everywhere and so when you have a Kingdom vision what we want to see is the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord and you know you hear the words of John the Baptist kind of it's okay he must increase I must decrease all right if that's what's going on I'm good with that Lord but just don't let this get snuffed out that was kind of my heart so I don't think we're ever competitors we were just joining hands I mean first time I went to Brownsville Steve Witt came with me who you guys know Steve is on his way here maybe and and we were just sitting at the back just but he found out about it and wouldn't have it you know he brought us right up and fast over us and everything but it was it was absolutely wonderful and he's been to us we've been to them that kind of thing Steve's to John's yeah a Brian I'd love to hear your perspective on your years there Brownsville what that was like as a young person to come up in the glory of God yeah it will saw was born again in 98 so I kind of came towards the tail-end obviously was birthed in 95 but I came out of deep sinneth age of 20 and immediately eight months after went to Bible College over at Browns I went to a meeting or so somebody brought me out there into this day I mean yes really is hard to put into words and a lot of you guys were there and and then I was drinking over YouTube through all the Toronto stuff too I was just pulling from everything because I didn't actually go to Toronto but Brownsville for me was just flipped my world upside down there's really no words you could put into it like Pastor John said the presence of God was so tangible and manifest I just couldn't even there would be times I'd pull up into the parking lot just to go to the meetings and my legs would go numb from the glory of God and the powerful sermons and preaching was always pristine but the glory of God hours of worship would blow by like that you didn't know what happened and drug addicts coming off the streets and repentance and healing and bodies and in just such an ease I would say to to walk in intimacy and in purity there was just no desire for like like Pastor John said last night the things the world just had no interest the beauty of his presence and the glory so I mean I could go on and on but it just I was there two years in Bible College and we were there nightly and it just really flipped my whole world upside down I'll never been anything in anything like it since we've had pockets and that were tasted it and but yeah it's really profound was incredible so last night what was that like did it take you back here yester John yeah I started - for sure it's it's just there's just nothing like it was forever branded and changed and yep why do you you're obviously a prophet why do you feel like we're talking about this why do you feel like this gathering is happening what do you sense spirit yeah I mean honestly - I know some of you guys signs and wonders are a little it's a little touchy sometimes but I you know I'll be the weird you know whatever but even as a bishop Thomas was speaking us we started over in this corner get covered in in golden in the message on the fathers right now in the sons it's I feel like God's all over it with what he's wanting to birth in America and you have to watch things enough you know God doesn't do stuff say oh wow the supernatural manifestation it's because he's marking things and and even recent dreams I've had where a father and a son were together the next new wave coming to the US and I saw a son actually catch the fish massive and I knew was ancient but huge this fish but the father was there and said take a picture of it now or you'll lose it in a picture in prophetic dream speaks of to solidify the thing to house it sustain it in and you knew that the sons needed the father's to the oversight in the Apostolic wisdom and direction to keep the thing the young we you know the ones may catch it but we need the father's right now and in tandem with what they followed it with the awakenings I believe so yeah it's powerful well let's agree with that come on let's give him praise yeah this should read there's so many places I could go with you we could talk about your church grow up going from 100 to 800 and a week but that's yeah that's pretty substantial growth in it what I like can you talk to us about being a young boy with polio and then your mama dropping the milk why I I was a stutterer and I couldn't talk literally couldn't talk I mean two or three words would be the maximum and God called me to preach I remember I was raised in Springfield Missouri for a while and one of the general superintendents of the Assemblies of God his wife came to our house one night along with a lot of the executives in some buddies of God were in our home and I remember she said to my mother what's your what's Tommy gonna do when he grows up my mother just proudly said he's gonna be a preacher and I'm at the other side of the door and I'm hearing this conversation and that woman said to my mother don't say that don't you know that Tommy can never preach he's a stutterer he'll never be able to do that I'm hearing a spiritual leader that I respect say that to my mother the second thing about my life was that about a when I was 8 years of age I came down with polio and I remember laying in that bed they brought a bed downstairs for me because I could no longer walk and when my mother would walk in the room I would say to her mom am I ever gonna walk again and my mother would look down at me and she wouldn't say yes or no but she began with early Pentecostals did she quoted the Word of God she would say Tommy the Bible says by His stripes you're healed the Word of God and she quoted isaiah 53 took her infirmities the Bible says the Lord is your healer and she would walk out and I said I think she just told me I'm gonna walk again and of course she did and then there came that day when God walked into the room and said today's the day I'm going to heal you and I remember thinking about that and so I called my mother in room we didn't this was the 1930s we didn't have a phone in our house led to use the neighbors home so I said my mother go call the pastor by the grantor and have him come and pray for me the Lord's gonna heal me today so she ran next door and called him and came back with her kind of a long face and said the grantor can't come he's in Buffalo doing some hospital calls and he can't come today he'll come tomorrow and for a moment I thought in myself you know this is the end today I won't be healed as she walked out of the room I heard this voice say to me the pastor is not here but I am Jesus and I'm here and I'm the one that's going to heal you so with that I pushed myself up I took my hands and I pushed myself up and I stood beside my bed and I remember taking my finger and pointing at the devil and I said devil you are not going to keep Tommy read any bed any longer and with that I took my 1 foot and I put it forward and then I had to let go of the bed to take the the foot that was crippled and I thought I made a mistake I should have taken the first step with a bad foot and then I could hold on with a good foot then I could take the first step with the bad foot by still holding on and all of a sudden I sensed the power of Jesus coming in that room and I took off and I took the first step in the second step and I ran across the floor I ran all the way upstairs and I ran back downstairs and when I got back downstairs I walked down the kitchen and my mother was there and she had a pan of milk in her hand and I have always loved milk and I still drink a lot of milk and I said mom I want a glass of milk she looked down and said I just used the last if you're going to drink it you're gonna have to lap it up from the floor or we had a charge account down the local store in those days and so I ran all the way two blocks to the store and back home and I walked ever since she was so startled by the fact you were there she said what are you doing walking I remember what are you doing walking but having come from a life that was a and a life that was a stutterer and realized what God has taken me all over my life it's almost unbelievable Wow I sense the Lord up here amazing yeah thank you Jesus can you talk about your years with Lester Sumrall let me just tell you one story and by the way they didn't make a movie of my healing which one five devil Ward's with which were pretty proud so I had the privilege in 1959 of going to the Philippines and being chosen with my father as the co pastor's of brother summer all's church Bethel temple Manila which was then the largest Pentecostal Church I think in the world and at 26 25 26 years of age I thought I can't believe my life the stutterer the is now standing the both one of the biggest churches in the world only 20-some years of age and one day I said over the summer all he became my mentor he he decided to make me a spiritual song and he made that decision we traveled all over the world together and spent night after night talking about his trips to China and his his time with with Smith Wigglesworth and it was an old education spending part of your life those two Summerall and one day I said to him I was in Manila with him and I said to him I know your story I know that you left the largest Assemblies of God Church in America to go to the Philippines and I know that you spent several years without success what was it like to one day be pastor of a large church in the next day be pastor of seven families and I knew all the seven families so I knew what he went through without any Church growth I said in what was the like he said let me take you for a walk and he took me out and he took me out you know what they call it Aneta which is between the Manila Hotel and the army-navy Club in Manila and he said let me take you to a bench and we sat down on the bench and I remember he put his hand on my knee and he said Tommy every day during that dark time in my life I came and I sat on this bench and I prayed one prayer God give me a place in the city I didn't have a place nobody came to hear me I didn't have a place I'd been to success and now I'm not a success they said that led of course to the healing of Clarita Villanueva the girl bitten by Devils which made the newspapers all over the world and within months thousands of people had come to Christ all because a man prayed a prayer God give me a place it's prayer that makes the difference it's prayer that makes the difference yeah for those of you who don't know that woman was so demon-possessed she'd pull prison bars a part of that she would she would that's why she terrified the city because she would take and tear the bars out of the prison and they couldn't release her on the street because there was scared of her they couldn't keep her in prison because she'd tear the bars apart and when he heard the screams over radio God said to him go to Bill Abbott prison and something miracle happened during that that I don't understand it doesn't make sense to me but there was two demons one of them he said was very hairy and the other was not hairy the one that had hair as the demon was exercised and told to leave the prison clarita grabbed the demon as he was leaving and actually pulled the hair out and when I was there they had an envelope in that prison and those Filipinos actually had this envelope with allegedly this hair in it and it was almost it was supernatural to them it was like the prison revolved around this little envelope with a hair in it because it was a demonstration of miracle I don't understand the miracle but I won't try to theologizing so when those demons left her revival hit the city when those demons left her revival I think that brought down the principality and power that ruled Manila when we were when we pass to the church because it was followed by miracle after miracle and on Saturday morning the Chinese would come they would come to our house our house was right beside the church where we pastored that Lester Sumrall built and the the cars would line up Cadillac limousines and Mercedes Benz limousines with all of these wealthy Chinese and they would fight we would find them at our doorstep just touch me because the God that lives in this church can heal me it the whole city was turned toward to God you'd get a taxicab you wouldn't say take me to Bethel temple you say take me to Christ is the answer and they would take you to the corner of of Taftan and I think the name the street but anyway they take you to the church amazing come on let's give the Lord praise Jesus you know we I agree with what pastor Kilpatrick said last night we need more men and women can cast Devils other people by the way Clarita was when we were there she was married had three children living in ordinary life it worked it worked beautiful Tim what are you sensing from the Lord as you as you sit here you come from a deep well of Pentecost Church of God in Christ who actually was founded by Charles Mason who was an assistant to William Seymour to Zuza and so you burn for the move of God you were raised in it what are you sensing from the Lord what do you feel like he's saying I really my heart leaps at the discussion about that fathering mentoring relationship and unity in the body I'm I really believe that so much in the is released and unlocked in the fathering mentoring relationship and I watch particularly both pastor John's as pastors my question I guess would be in a sense how did us pastors how did you what was it like hosting an evangelist in the context of the local church for revival because sometimes we don't see that kind of unity in the body with the offices and to see you now sit as such fathers in in the faith I think that's something that that as a son I would love to hear because the next generation we're believing for increased revival and breakthrough and I don't know that we know how to really collaborate and really yield to each other in our respective offices as well you know so that that leaps in my heart as well I just really believe that that fathering relationship is going to unlock so much that we're that we that we don't have we got a lot of stuff we've learned and we can gather from a bunch of things but there's just stuff that we can't get us except to be imparted you know so that's kind of what's in my heart turning when you when you say that what do you I'm always like give me more questions I don't feel like I have any exercise I'm more like show me teach me what would you say pastor Drummond is not like Steve I mean - very well he traveled with us for years there preached in our little church when we met in the movie theater when he I mean we probably had a hundred people moved there and he had just preached a fifty thousand at the Azusa Centennial and he came into that little theater like I don't think he has a fifth or fourth gear or third I think he's just what was it like hoshido transmission he has no transmission he's all engine first time I ever met Steve was in 1981 and he was about to go to mission field in Argentina and he had he was a district council and he had this little thing made up of where people could come up and pull little tabs that had amounts on there where they'd like to support him over the next year and they went all the way up to $5,000 and I I heard Steve speak that days first time I ever met him I heard him speak and as soon as I heard him speak my heart sitting in the pew without even meeting and my heart was bonded to him in the pew and so when he got through speaking he asked people that would come up to take one of those things and I came up and got very top one $5,000 me and Steve became instant friends instant friends so our hearts was bonded and we stayed in close contact but he would be on the mission field Argentina and he was dear and he was there during the Argentine revival and he would call me and tell me about evangelist onaconda how that he would give altar calls out of the City Square and there'll be thousands of people standing out there on the streets and people half a mile away whenever Karla Sun economy would say Satan us I find you he said people around him would start throwing up on the streets a half a mile away in that Argentine revival and so he would tell me stories about what was going on in Argentina and I'd sit in my office and I would we you know sorry was a weepy today good but I would just start weeping and he'd start weeping and we had neither one of us had any idea that God was going to use us together at there at Brownsville and he would tell me all about the you know the miracle story is going on in Argentina and so whenever he came back and he was tasted in holy Brompton and he came back to preaching me on father's day the only day that I could book him was Father's Day and I've never booked anybody like on Mother's Day Father's Day or any special holiday like that but I said well I'm gonna do this not really realizing that God had a plan and having a revival break out of Brownsville on Father's Day and so whenever he came I had great respect for Steve and one of the reasons I did is because Steve had a mentor and it was it was brother Leonard Ravenhill and brother Ravenhill sired him up brought him up to respect the pastor and to love pastors and Steve was a poet was an evangelist and so Steve knew his place he was drilled by Leonard Ravenhill his place here the Evangelist and even though brother Ravenhill was dead whenever the revival broke out his teachings was in Steve he mentored him he fathered him and so I always respected Steve and he always respected me we were we were more than friends we were really like blood brothers we were bonded and he never one time bucked me never one and if there was ever anything that came up and a decision had to be made and I made the decision he would always yield to the decision that I made but I always wanted to see him prosper I always wanted to see the people under him I was never jealous I've never had a jealous bone in my body about how God used Steve at Brownsville or how God used Nathan at church his presence never one time a jealous bone in my body I always rejoiced with them at their success it worked it was the Holy Spirit I don't think a person has those qualities and 8ly for that to happen like that and for that to work it has to be the gift of the Holy Spirit has to be the Lord's work but I always highly respected Steven whenever he died men it was a tough funeral for me to breathe and even when he was dying he had cancer and he rolled the airplane and he moved his wife and family from Dallas to Gulf Shores he said John I want you to preach my funeral and he said I want my family to be under your ministry as their pastor he said the happiest days of our lives and the most productive days of our lives was always under your ministry that's the way he looked at me and that's well it for them it is work I've listened to pastor Kilpatrick a lot I don't know if you guys know this I've talked about this before different settings but Jesus image began I would take death will tell you Tuesdays and not do anything ministry wise would spend the day with the Lord I just sit there I would feel the Lord give me liberty in certain moments after waiting on him to feast on voices who had been where I was dreaming to go and those were miss cool men my father-in-law's old stuff Brownsville and Toronto listening to pastor Kilpatrick he such authority under the anointing but to see this side of you up close to a person the tender heart of the Lord says more to me than then the man preaching last night this is that's what God can work with and that's a beautiful thing that God never turns away is a broken and contrite heart we just honor you pastor we're living before Jesus like I want to get to pastor Kathy and Bishop Thomas about when that River started to flow but first I'd like to ask because this is believe all of this is orchestrated by the spirit if we're going to see a great harvest and really make it about Jesus it's going to take more than one of us we're going to have to work together as of late I've been asked questions as to why I include so many people in our events and and the heart is they're coming from loving and good hearts but I've been actually told you can do all this on your own you know you don't need those that you you you you have an anointing on your own life and while that may be true I feel like there's something beautiful about exhibiting the different aspects of Jesus's face through brothers and sisters and fathers and mothers and fathers and I really believe that's what the Lord is doing you know Reinhard Bonnke told me once he looked many I said Michael there's one thing I regret it was being so busy in the harvest in my row and the vineyard that I forgot to look over to the other row and see what my brother was doing over there so I just believe all of this is very heavenly very of the Lord Pastor John what was it like to try to Pastor during the outpouring and working with Randy what was that dynamic like we were overwhelmed to the point where we knew it was God but we didn't know why we didn't know what to do and I can remember asking him all the time God what are you doing but why do you like it when they all fall down why do you like piles of people you know why this why that I don't understand you and one day he spoke to me and he said John you you don't even understand women why would you think you'd understand me Spencer I clued in to the obvious at that point but of course God's going to do things that are way beyond our experience in our education and our understanding isn't he because he's just super smart compared to us and so I said what do I do and he just gave me one word he said you asked so I'd be like God is this you I'd get a piece yes let it be let it go God is this you yeah I'd get a check all right we deal with that and we just operated in sort of a primitive discernment along these lines and we're still around how about with Randy what was that dynamic like pastor and evangelist as a really solid father it was it was amazing we we had Randy with us for like the first I think 12 days I mean it was originally set up for four and then we called his wife and said he can't come home so she's like all right two more days and then another two more days so it was four Souls eight days but then he had to go home for the weekend and came back and so I remember the first day okay Randy's gone what's going to happen does the anointing Lee with Randy or or what but it didn't it stayed with us and you see when you're when you're launching out into something where you've never been before you're just you're just not sure whether you have what it takes not that it's you you understand what I'm saying but but but the Holy Spirit showed up just the same and then we worked out that it's not only is he on us but it's very very contagious and it began to have faith for the importation that we received in Argentina and in other places Randy prayed with us and pastor Bennie's prayed with us in many many along the years John Wimber prayed with us and so you need to take a hold of that anointing and and believe that God can use like Randy would say little old you and so Randy's gone on as you know to have these gigantic conferences around here and globally and it's just spread and spread and spread and that's the will of God and so even though it's spread somehow the intensity has allowed for consolidation and I think it's because God's getting getting ready for another massive push the like of which none of us have ever dreamed of mmm-hmm say what's the use all of you so it was always great who is honoring back and forth and Randi for those of you who know he's one of the most humble sincere people you will ever meet in all your life and we love him still pastor Cathy talked to us about that moment that River came through never underestimate the power of one encounter with God can change your life and I was going through a really desperate time in my life I was discouraged I was depressed my mother had passed away my daughter had gotten married and moved out into California and I felt like I wasn't needed in the church anymore and I was desperate for a touch from God God's heart is drawn to desperation my husband and I it was Mother's Day weekend and and the next weekend my husband and I were going to Cincinnati Ohio to a conference and Assembly of God conference and I knew that I just had have a meeting with God I had to have a fresh encounter God is not a one encounter God and we went there and during we were meeting after meeting and we just didn't experience what I what I was looking for and at one point one of the pastors came up to us and he said there I hear there's revival meetings going on in nearby Florence Kentucky and actually pastor Kilpatrick you were supposed to be the speaker at that time and we had heard about the move of God in Brownsville let me say what an honor it is to be sitting with these heroes of the faith but we went we went down we found the church it was actually pastor Glen tikis church and we we had a hard time fighting we finally we skipped out of a business meeting I found our way into a church we've walked in you could just feel the presence of God there weren't many people there he didn't preach a sermon he just shared about the new move of God that had come and how he was God was wanting to change lives and encounter people again and at the end he just invited those who needed a fresh touch from God to come forward I ran to that altar Clady prayed for my husband and I we went down under the power and also I remember were the words passion passion - plenty sooo inviting us into the back and he began to tell us about the move of God that had come and above how God was moving a lot on the pastor's wife and he mentioned Brenda and how God had moved on Brenda he had mentioned his wife who was very conservative and how during God just showed up and she was running around the building and I said oh God don't do that to me I'm missed I am miss conservative Scottish quiet you I was raised at church you didn't speak in church let alone anything else and and then as we were sitting there I asked him I said why do you think that is that God is touching the pastor's wives and he said I think it's because this move of God is about the Bride of Christ and who better to represent the Bride of Christ than the pastor's wife and for many pastors they would not maybe accept the move of God had it not touched their wife and they know their wife better than anybody that she would never do anything to draw attention to herself so we left them we came home we began ministering in our church and God began to move and we would spend something nice and Wednesday nights at the altar just crying out for fresh move of God one Wednesday night I was standing to the left of the altar we had time where we just said if you need it if you want to pray for revival and I was I was seeking the heart of God the Spirit of God came on me and I described it like you're standing out in an ocean and you have waves just hit against your legs and then they go out and they come back and hit against your legs and then I heard and I described this like you're standing at niver Falls and you can actually hear the roar of the falls before you even see it and then I heard the voice of God and he said Katherine he said the rivers coming the rivers coming get ready the rivers coming I didn't have a clue of that man but I got excited I began to laugh and I begin to cry and I'm glad it talks in the book of Acts about being drunk in the spirit and my husband was giving times for testimonies at that point and I went over and I kind of pushed the guy aside and I said people get ready the river of God is coming it's coming it ready and my husband said that's nice honey he says would one of you won one you think Esther's please help her sit down and and so they did they sent me in the front row which was a mistake because I'm sitting there and I'm looking at my husband saying honey the rivers coming the rivers covered he said that's nice honey that's nice okay and then I began to laugh hysterically and I began to think get a grip you're in church what are you doing and at that point we were receiving the offering I happen to glance back and one of the pastor's wife had come in through the back and I told my husband I said honey tell Marge oh never mind I stood up and I yelled to the back I said hey Marge the rivers coming get ready at this point my husband said well I think we'll close up here but one of the ladies came running up to me our key intercessor and she says Kathy read Ezekiel 47 everything the river touches comes to life and that's what happened to me the river of God had had so transformed me and we began in January we always have a week of fasting in prayer we call it a seven days of praise we began to just cry all for God to come and I was during that time and I'll let you share you know our church didn't had grown can you all hear me in the 18 years we've been here and the Lord had blessed so much but then all of this new stirring was happening and we're in this week of fasting and prayer and I had fasted we had fasted five days by that point and I'd not heard one word from God we were not in this building we're we're in two previous buildings and I was on my face and the Lord spoke to me so clearly folks if you don't learn anything else Lord his voice learn learn to recognize his voice and he said to me said son you know nothing about revival Wow I knew I didn't know a lot but I thought knew something seriously I we got saved in the Jesus people movement we've gone through the charismatic movement but I know the voice of God he said son you know nothing about reply between May that she mentioned in January we had had these waves come in and then that come in and then recede and then the communion would be weeks where we couldn't preach the presence would come but I when I lay to my face that night I said okay I know nothing you do whatever you want to do however you want to do it whenever you want to do it use whoever you want to use my hands are and I told the people at the close of the service that night what God had said and then the next night on the 6th night of revival during the offering a woman who was new to our church who happened to be from Morocco during the offering she was in not in this building but she was a ways back and she held up a picture of her mother and said pray for my mother pray for my mother and her mom was a demon-possessed woman she said who still lived in Morocco and how do you explain this this happened at Toronto it didn't happen at Victory we didn't make noises you all made noises and it's as if the biggest guy in church came up and punched me in the belly in this sound and all over the building spontaneously the sound came out of people we didn't do that we had never been to Toronto we had not been to Brownsville with no guest speaker we were just needed him and I cut my teeth on the King James Version that talks about the bowels of Christ the compassion of Christ and what we believe happened is that the compassion of Christ hit the building and that the heavens opened and that night the Spirit of God came upon knowing that night but for the next several years the most conservative people in our church were the ones who got hit too hard like her pastor Terrell who was in charge of our counseling very quiet she began to shake and tremble violently almost and begin to prophesy and call out families that would literally run to the altar it's never been the same since that night we thought we knew how to do Church until that night and now what we recognize is it's completely about his presence we then went to Brownsville a couple weeks early 97 and stood in line and when we went we said Mississippi this is bigger this is perhaps more intense but this is the same spirit that what is happening and was happening around the world but is what was amazing and so we've never been the same and one last thing like brother are not said I I felt responsible as a senior pastor for like some of the things that were going on the work that were pretty crazy of but I couldn't deny what God had done in my wife laying in bed one night with my back to her the presence on her woke me up to pray over somebody in to see them not just fall but then it was like they're getting electrocuted and to have one of the biggest guys in the church who played for the Philadelphia Eagles won't variable huge man with a Baptist background look at that woman and say to me pastor can you explain that to me I'm thinking of every scripture that can come to my mind and I'm looking at this woman and looking up at Walt and I said well I don't have a clue I've no idea what's happening right now but when she later testified that she didn't molested as little girl Jesus had just delivered her four years of torment from that molestation I thought I don't care what it looks like I don't care if it embarrasses everybody we we don't want a pastor a church that if she spent $10,000 he got counseling and God help in a private office it's fine but if Jesus did it in a couple of seconds and it innit embarrassed some people and we learned the lesson that God at times he will he will embarrass you what's that statement it would offend the mind to expose the heart yeah so we'll quit there but folks I want to say this to you you might wonder why is this important it's important because it stirs faith none of us are pure special none of us have anything except that Jesus gave us something and the fact that these God encounters at Pastor John spoke about last night they have become memorial stones so that we could point at them and tell those who were not there this is what God yet it's not a book I read it's it's not a movie I saw we experienced this firsthand and you can tell by each one that is shared that we relive it as we share it baby you've been around a lot of them we've just got a few more minutes then I'm going to ask I really feel that by the Holy Spirit to ask Pastor John Kerr Patrick and Pastor John are not to pray and agree that that something would break not only over this region not only over this nation first of all in our hearts you know I say God is God is after Israel he he I'm all about that but the landmass God once most is the hearts of men and women that's what he's after our hearts he wants us I'm gonna pray that would break over our hearts over this nation and over the nations of the world that the knowledge of the glory of God would cover the earth as the waters cover the sea but I want to Jess just to quickly say she's the Lord has really opened the prophetic for her I even more intensely since we've been in Bethel even over our children my kids well let me just say this quickly my son's first word of knowledge and nine years old was somebody's last name my son my son Theo my this was all at Bethel I don't know about you but the school I went to did not teach you how to how to receive from the Lord little Benny my second born Jesse bought a kitchen appliance and it wouldn't work and batteries were in everything was good to go and and Jess Jess said boys all the kids were in the kitchen she said let's pray for this I just took it out of the box let's pray over this thing and a little bit he goes this was after like one week and gonna work no no you said let's pray yeah so this was I think one week and ready a little bit he goes mom we don't pray over stuff like this we declare the word over it so eight years old and Jess goes well okay there big guy and he declared the word over it and that bad boy turned on Sophia my daughter had her first vision of the Lord five years old you know at Bethel they have soaking class if you go to the school there's a kid oh that's just hilarious to me and all the kids are convinced they're the best Soaker I said how do you even rate that but anyways they stuff opened really for the kids and Jess and me there what do you sense prophetically what's it mean for you to sit here and be with everyone you know I was very privileged to grow up around the power of the Lord and you know when you're in it you don't realize what you're in unfortunately and we just had a wonderful years with my dad just we had a church the face of the Lord appeared on the wall and was speaking as my dad was reading the Bible like crazy stuff would happen at this church Michael got saved and healed there as a 12 year old boy and my dad would take I'm his oldest so I got to go really ever with him all over the world and go to these Crusades and see people just get healed and ears open up and people in wheelchairs just run down walking again and I just didn't realize what I was in when I was in it it was kind of was born into it so it just kind of seemed common to me and then when it didn't stop but just that that sweet movement it just it seemed like not that that time was over just wasn't happening so intense like I remembered it as a kid and I remember saying once to Michael I believe I said you know I really want my kids to see what we saw as children like I don't want to tell them stories I really need God to move again like that and I would go on YouTube and be like boys watch this when you're they call my dad data I said watch this one data when this lady got healed and watched what God did with the people and I can honestly say for the first time again I feel something stirring in my spirit like God is going to do it again again again it's coming again and I'm not just saying that to make you guys feel good I really and I haven't felt this way in probably 10 years and I would say Lord please would you do it again and could you maybe use me but if not I don't really care just do it however you want to do it come however you want to come if it's in a new way whatever it is don't tease me don't tease me I tasted such good stuff and when I was in it I didn't realize what I was in and I just so desperately need that again even if you do it in my own heart even in my own room where nobody's watching I don't care just touch me again Lord touch me again and I just feel such hunger again in my life like I've never felt before and I just don't think it's a coincidence that God is stirring all of these men and women of God's hearts again and all these people that we don't even know their name are being stirred in saying I've been waking up in the night and I'm having visions and dreams and children like our own and other children we know are seeing the Lord this is not all just a coincidence people this is not by accident God is coming again for his church for his bride but it's not nothing artificial about it let me just make that really clear there's no counterfeit move of the Holy Spirit the only people are going to really really feel this is the people that have been on their knees crying and fasting and praying for a genuine revival and you don't have to have a pulpit to have that you can have it in your room alone with nobody watching that's the people that God sometimes touches the most the most beautiful encounters I've had with the Lord have not been at my dad's Crusades and on his pulpit not at Jesus conference with Michael they've been in my room alone where nobody sees and nobody hears I have felt him more tangibly in my prayer time and my weakest darkest moments I felt him more real in those moments than any place in the entire world with the most amazing woman of God he's just he's just a touch away so close so close so I just feel like God is steering something again and I'm just so happy because I really just want to see it I just don't even care if I'm a part of it I just want to see it again I just want the Holy Spirit to come move on his people again I feel like it's his time he's relevant again he's relevant again he's coming again he's coming again we just need him so desperately right now yeah would you stand would be please everybody stand if you hear something that you agree with please feel free to say Amen but we're going to pray father in the name of Jesus America is at a crossroads father what we see going on in Washington with President Trump and the assault against him is in the natural but that same kind of assault is coming against the work of God Lord we believe for an end of abortion we believe Lord that there's going to be a mighty uprising of your glory and your power that justice is going to prevail Lord recompense is going to be made in the natural and in the spiritual father we speak that mighty revival is going to come not only to Washington but to this nation from shore to shore from border to border Lord we believe for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit in churches that believe in the Holy Spirit and those that bar the Holy Spirit you're going to invade our prayer our prom our premises Lord you're going to invade denominations and non denominations and father we pray that such hunger will grip the hearts of people that said infuse every Sundy included the preachers that there's going to be a revolutionary change and it'll be quick and it'll be thorough and it will be widespread in the powerful name of Jesus we believe it Lord amen and amen we just had the privilege of having Bishop tell me read with us and he reminded us that when when you see it as a revelation and then you begin to declare it it's going to happen it's going to come to pass how many have seen this wave of revival sweeping North America sweeping the world I want you to just get that picture in your spirit again I I've seen a couple of elements of it I've seen a wave that was so high I couldn't even estimate how big it was I've seen the traffic gridlock that in front of our church with police they're giving up this is hopeless why because of the intensity of what was going on I want you to see that in your spirit and they're beginning to declare it out with me father revival is here and it's increasing and increasing it's the glory it's the presence of God I ask you to bring it on Lord God there are no other answers there's no political answer there's no economic answer there's no religious answer there's just you or you need to bring your glory and we see it and we welcome it and we speak it we come into agreement with that which the father has shown us bring your revival Lord and transform this planet for your honor and for your glory in the name of Jesus and Lord let it come on us now we breathe it in right now we take it it is the father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom hmm that's it start to declare kingdom of God come will of God be done on earth in Youngstown just as it is in heaven ah [Music] [Music] the Lord says to stay that my days do not go from daylight to dark my days go from dark to daylight the encourage says the Lord it is in the dark but the glory of the Lord shall shine and the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon thee and shall be seen upon thy dwelling places know this that it is indeed dark but there's a new day dawning hold on since the Lord trust in the Lord I will show you great and mighty things that you know not of you have cried this day you have well as you have remembered when I say there's something greater coming be rejoicing be expecting you should fake it is right at the door says the Lord rejoice rejoice rejoice [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you [Music] Oh I do not know how many more times I want how many more times on this side of heaven we're going to have these two John's together the church are what you did here this what God just dropped in my spirited Michael with your permission is the debt of gratitude to Rio for these two pioneers and what they and their families went through and please don't clap or anything yet would be a moment for that you can come into a revival and receive the blessing for what others have paid a price for that that was the message last night about the pioneer of Abraham the inheritance of Jacob or excuse me Isaac and both pastors thank you and I just feel like there are not going to be that many times where the two of you're going to be in the room together and as the body of Christ that is gathered here we want to honor the two of you and your families and your churches and ministries because you paid a price you paid a price that we could be blessed that many could be blessed pastor Kilpatrick because we're friends we've sat and talked about some of the things you went through even with the accident that occurred at the house and at that same time the stuff that was on the front page of the papers in Pensacola were lies and you both have been mocked you've been criticized but you paid a price but we with the two of you being here together and Michael thank you for bringing these two together we want to thank the two of you whether or not you need it we need to say it that that that is a need on our part to look you in the eyes John or not and to look you in the eyes junko Patrick and say thank you for the price you paid thank you for the tears thank you for what even your family went through because you paid a price that we might be able to have an inheritance thank you we love you and we honor you now you can find [Applause] well what a wonderful time together in God's presence sir we're going to be back together at two o'clock so you got about an hour go grab some lunch or just do - 15 - 15 and uh go grab some lunch or do whatever the Lord wants you to do but Reed will be sharing with us bishop Tommy Reed will be sharing with this it's going to be a powerful time if you can't make the two o'clock session you coming back tonight bring family and friends with you this is open to the public and Pastor John or not is going to be preaching tonight at our 7
