hey guys so a couple of days ago I did a video  on my Channel about a build that I called the   Icebreaker it's the most fun that I've had with  any build to date in balers Gate 3 it's basically   a character designed to deal some really solid  damage both via their own weapon attacks and by   returning damage to enemies when the enemy hits  them I figured I would put out just this little   gameplay snippet of how it worked along with  like a quick highle overview for those of you   who are very familiar with the game mechanics  and or don't have interest in watching like an   hourong deep dive the class breakdown at level  12 is this one level of white dragon ancestry   draconic Soul sorcerer uh mostly for access to the  armor of Agatha spell five levels of abjuration   wizard for the Arcane Ward primarily but also to  get the fire Shield spell and then six levels of   Swords board so we can continue to enjoy full  spellcaster spell slot progression while also   getting extra attack and the ability to hit two  Targets in melee a few times per short rest both   to do damage to both of them but also to apply  conditions from our weapons as for Feats we're   going to be sure and grab dual wielder so that  we can dual wield more than just light weapons   right and also weapon master so that we can  have Proficiency in the weapons that we want   to dual wield alternatively if you don't want  to take weapon master and would rather take   like Elemental Adept or something else instead  which would be nice on this build you can take   a single level dip in like Paladin or fighter  sacrificing a level of wizard or go Valor Bard   instead of Swords barard since Valor bards  get Marshal weapon proficiency unlike swords   bars right though you would be sacrificing a  little burst and cleave damage for going Valor   instead as for equipment I'm not going to try  and tell you like what the best ins slau item   is for every single potential piece of equipment  or anything but the most important items to make   this build really work are the weapons first up  the flail of Ages which among other things can   apply the chilled condition to enemies making  them vulnerable to cold damage right and then   the Trident of the Waves which among other things  applies the wet condition when you hit in combat   here's how it works first get an ally to put  Waring Bond on you reducing the damage that   you take when you get hit then get your Arcane  Ward Stacks maxed out and make sure you have the   highest level of armor of agius as you possibly  can active on yourself then right before combat   breaks out cast fire Shield but the chill Shield  version of it right on yourself and then start   the fight you're going to be running into combat  and trying to hit as many enemies as possible at   least once to either get them wet or chilled  thereby making them vulnerable to cold damage   that way when they hit you they will take double  damage both from armor of agius and chill Shield   you can even intentionally provoke opportunity  attacks from them if you want to help ensure   that they will try to hit you I didn't really do  that in this little video but it's something that   I do regularly Lally when I'm playing this build  best of all thanks to Arcane Ward and warding Bond   as often as not when they do hit you neither you  nor your party member who cast Arcane Ward on you   is going to take any damage like Shadow heart  here for example even when they do hit you it   will rarely break through the temporary hit points  that you have from armor of agius even if an enemy   isn't wet or chilled yet they're going to die  just by attacking you like this poor guard did and if they are wet or chilled then yeah the  damage that they take from just hitting you is   massive like this steel Watcher did for example  it took 76 damage for hitting me and I took no   damage nor did Shadow heart that's freaking  awesome now in this particular instance I got   snared uh and so I was trapped inside of the self  D struck of the steel Watcher which kind of made   me laugh actually this other guard who was also  in the area you know I hit him and then on his   turn he tries to run outside of the area of the  blast but you know thinking that he had escaped   and was safe tried to make a couple of attacks  on me unfortunately he still died anyways just   for hitting me finally and especially if you're  just fighting a single enemy you can on your turn   hit them first with your flail in your main hand  chilling them ideally then with your Trident as   a bonus action getting them wet and enemies who  are first chilled then made wet become Frozen for   a round essentially incapacitating them but also  making them vulnerable to bludgeoning damage we   can then take our second attack from our attack  action with our flail which does bludgeoning   damage thus shattering them for a nice big chunk  of weapon damage in the end you guys this build   is incredibly potent incredibly fun it does  a ton of damage it's super tanky and actually   makes a great solo play build if you're looking  for something other than a ranged swords SP uh   to solo with if you'd like a full breakdown  with all the details of how we build and play   the character right from level one check out the  video uh in the top right corner there and in the   video description as well so yeah thanks for  watching and I hope you enjoy the Icebreaker
