week she had to say the least been i've been paying a little bit more attention to the news i try not to to uh inundate myself with it over saturate myself with it because you know as you know a lot there's a lot of repetition yeah um but the things that i've been watching you know lord's been allowing me to watch at obviously the right times because i'm the nuances of two wednesdays ago are starting to come out because the investigations happen and i i'm i'm amazed that it looks like it's pointing to some of our republican representatives actually gave tours to some of the people that participated in the riot the next day so that means that uh hey maya that means that um they are stupid because i don't understand how you how you get that involved and think you're not going to be found out in probably one of the most thoroughly surveilled buildings in the in the world absolutely and did you see the video where when they were in the pentagon depending on in the capitol a group of them were going over the plans yes yes yes i mean and and here's the thing i'm glad they taped it so now they got caught mm-hmm but if you're going to commit a crime yeah why are you taping this and posting it online well it like it gets it gets you to the depth of the psychological impact of those that are following our president in his negativity and no masks not for covert nor for identity um military people uh i was telling someone on the phone i was telling um booker's senator booker's representative the other day that when i was watching the news the first thing that came to my mind when i saw the mass outside was the old greek mythology i think it is about the trojan horse okay and i said this is a trojan horse and and guys he said what do you mean i said i saw what was hidden in the crowd so the organizers of this uh particular uh event were really being camouflaged by the people that when i when i finally saw the line of military uh guys snaking their way through the crowd i said okay that was that's what was hidden in the trojan horse absolutely because with jim when jim clyborn talked about how he found his uh secret office and never went to his office they had his name on there he's like this was uh no that somebody told him where to go well you know i think a couple of the state legislators um got arrested did they they were state congress people okay yes yes yes yes yes they got arrested for breakfast yes yeah but i wonder if they're going to arrest us they have to they have to because um you know people died people were injured um i'm not quite sure why certain kinds of people think when they're protesting that urinating and defecating in the building i mean what did other people do when they decided to you know whip it out and start urinating and squatting on the floor what what did the rest of them do yeah just sit around and just they were laughing about it i i just find that you know that that kind of behavior speaks to character you know they could have gone down and protested but they felt as though they had permission to do what they did because they were told to stop the process of verifying that uh president-elect biden had won electoral electoral college i mean well one lady she took a um a private shutdown private jet yeah she was from texas oh my she took a private jet to dc to a protest to a protest oh my they just arrested her okay she said why am i being arrested i'm doing what a what a patriot american can do within law the privilege of these people one guy said we're coming to take our house back we're taking our country back and they believed that they're in the right constitutionally to do this and they're wondering why they're being can't break the law well perhaps they don't feel as though the law applies to them yeah you know when i watched the um the officer who said he was basically attacked and they started stripping him down and he said he started talking to them about the fact that he had children and that was um you know he thought that's what caused people to have some sympathy on him when i was watching him it amazed me that he had a gun and didn't use it that was my ques he was being assaulted very vigorously and had weapons and never used them and i could not help but draw some kind of analogy and that i've seen other african-american men walking away from armed people and get shot 15 or 16 times you know brianna got shot in her bed you know so the it's not that his life felt threatened it's who who it was being threatened by because he was armed and you know i believe had he started to discharge his weapon and dropped a few people they would have backed off him for a second and he could have gotten out of there but he it never entered his mind except that you know i don't have enough bullets to deal with everybody in the crowd because that was my thing even like when the police were lined up yeah and they were trying to push down the barriers and they didn't and if you got over i'm surprised they just didn't start pulling out and just start getting those that were there because i'm telling you had there been any other group out there oh yeah lives black lives matter you name it there would have been some fatalities yep absolutely absolutely and and it took my mind back to the west virginia thing charlottesville yeah um and how our president minimized the death of the young woman by saying there were everybody was good people out there but here's my i see a continuity and you correct me you know i need you to correct me i see a continuity from my president saying early in his campaign for president that he could walk out on fifth avenue shoot someone and still have their support that said volumes to me absolutely about him having a revelation about the mindset of the people that are following and then to you know you watch him chronologically you watch him promise encourage violence at his rallies for those that disagree and watch those people do it start to accost people that didn't agree with him and then he say telling a lie i'll pay your legal bills go ahead and rough him up of course he wasn't going to pay the legal bill he's not even paying julianne yeah that's right you know so so so so so then then he then he he shifts on he has this divisive cons he's consistently divisive consistently abrasive and consistently supportive of racism in our nation and you cannot say i'm a supporter of racism and then say i'm the most unprejudiced person in the country yeah it's like me being a part of the clan and then trying to disavow my membership with them yep yeah i belong to it but i don't believe what they believe no no no no no no yeah yeah and that's i was talking to a conservative about this week like you guys were willing to overlook we don't agree with his rhetoric we didn't like him went on my rhetoric now yeah huh and i talked about working yeah yeah and there as long as he got us what we wanted i said they was like we didn't see that going this far i'm like we told y'all based off the things he was saying he told them this this was going to happen four years ago he told them but y'all was willing to overlook a bunch of stuff claim you didn't like them just to get the tax cut you wanted and all those other things well here's here's the thing nothing came to me and correct me if i'm wrong on this i believe because i know why the abortion platform was pushed to the front the abortion platform originally was pushed to the front because the segregation platform would be too divisive and they knew they couldn't win with it so the moral majority went with the abortion platform yep so the abortion platform out front if you will has been the smoke screen for a a racist uh uncaring unloving not concerned with working people agenda that's behind that and people are latching on to the abortion thing um yet because of that they're justifying or ignoring or overlooking or just not seeing the rest of what the platform is producing and when i had this conversation i said look he says how i was asked how can you be pro-life and not support president trump or be a republican and i said because i happen to think that pro-life the way you're telling me is that you're not concerned about an 18-year-old you're only concerned about an infant and to me that's not pro-life if i'm pro-life i'm protecting life from wound to tomb that's pro-life to me absolutely so so don't don't go silent on violence in the street because you're pro-life what about the rest of my child's life yep yep so i'll i'll legislate to get you born but i don't have a problem sending you to war to get you killed it doesn't make sense to me and it never has and the most uh death uh death sentences to executions among any president 12 12 i think yeah 12 in his presidency compared to any other president and he and his administration lifted that whole uh execution thing for people on death row they just killed their 12th one this morning i think around one o'clock in the morning and and and you've got let's be serious about this we've got republican clergy supporting this stuff in the name of the smokescreen abortion which is allowing them and you taught me this to criticize prosperity but enjoy it every day of their lives they have a different view of the prosperity gospel they still believe it just not supposed to talk about but just not but but their process is different they want power and money like everybody else it's just their process is different okay but i did read some somebody tweeted this out yesterday and it brought so much into uh perspective okay um she said that white evangelicals that are in this particular movement they really don't like the jesus of the bible well that's that's plain explain so they latch themselves to old testament warriors and try to fit that narrative as jesus in the narrative of who they're supposed to be as men well that means they're deceived it also means that the passion of their belief is causing them to think this truth but like we've talked about in the new testament deception 99 of the time is attached to believers yep so i told our pastors last night in a call i said what this season has done what the pat what the pandemic season has done is allowed there to be clear identity as to god's kingdom church versus man's political church and god had to allow them to grow together that's why in the bible says let them grow together don't you do anything to them let them grow together because i need you to see the difference i already know the difference god is saying i need you to see the difference and there is a there is a necessity for the discerning of the spirit of evil that's in the national church because they have placed abortion as a smoke screen and it allows them to justify every other injustice that happens and that can't be in line with kingdom principles absolutely it can't be no it can't be they're talking about you got pastors on the pulpit talking about everybody get your guns ready i saw i saw a guy say that yeah if they go come to your house you yeah you got your second amendment right yeah um he made a joke about uh don't shoot him on the you know if you made your car make a joke you could shoot him on the lawn try to drag him into the house but the problem is you'll have a blood uh trail into your house and when did that kind of assertion reflect any christ at all that's in the bible thank you when when that it does not i saw the guy from the mountain church and i don't mind saying it um copeland's son-in-law preached some dastardly stuff over the pulpit and literally told his people get ready to fight you know i'm not talking about what i heard yeah i was watching this broadcast because i tend to watch sometime people that don't agree with my idea of the kingdom and i was watching that sunday morning while we were here and he came up with this you know get your guns we're ready to fight thing because if he loses now this is what's wrong with it if i'm saying that an individual is in the will of god to be in a certain position what do i say when he does not attain that place and in the kingdom of god would god justify any means at all to make sure what he promised was going to come to pass the way you do it still matters with god yep but they act like you know this is the goal doesn't matter how we get there we can kill people we can riot we can do everyone on the right as long as we get there it's the will of god that is not how god works and they're taking the whole israel promised land thing too far you're first off america is not israel no we are not the nation of israel no america is not this great national country to god compared to every other country that's not how it works no and they're holding on to that that family documentary netflix just explains this whole thing really how they want this warrior jesus this ultimate man and that's why they call trump the ultimate man but my thing is he acts like a child well all the time if he's going to be the altered man and he's going to come from god he's got to be righteous in the things that he does okay he he can't be this crass hurtful harmful uh seditious dishonest individual that his handlers say you can't take anything literally that he says you can't be a leader and people can't believe the syllables coming out of your mouth yeah exactly how do you lead and your own people are saying don't take what he says seriously what right thank you a leader a leader but once again if our previous president had been guilty of a third of what we have experienced in the last four years the republicans would have exploded with such force that the whole republican party would have landed on the moon absolutely i'm trying to tell you it would not have been accepted for a moment if you would say black lives matters hey y'all let's go up there to the capitol mm-hmm before they even got there it would have been a big problem before it even got to dc fatalities arrest the whole nine yards everything because you know people are actually crying they're saying i don't understand why i'm being arrested yes on tape did you see the guy who um what to get on this flight to go back home from dc i saw the guy get off the plane in hawaii and they were waiting for him when he got off the plane yeah him arrested then one guy what they did was they waited for them to get on the plane okay in dc okay escorted them off okay and said you're on a no-fly list as terrorists okay one guy was crying in the airport it's not fair what's not fair oh i was doing my concert i'm an american i'm a patriot and i'm sorry not but he but they were doing it right there they expected not to have any consequences breaking the law every step of the way absolutely privileged amazing and and you know why is it that people of other ethnicities understand that your ethnicity does not give you a right to break constitutional law when you when you want to but they're watching their leaders do it absolutely if there are not congressional arrests based on the people who a told them where offices were b gave them a tour of the building the day before they stormed the building c want to carry guns inside the building when they should not and it is not an infringement of your rights not to carry a gun in certain places i can't carry a gun on a plane yep you can be licensed all day long you can't get in the cabin with absolutely so so the arguments are stupid they are stupid and then they're mad because trump is banned off uh certain platforms again they're infringing on free speech no no allows you to say what you want that's a business that's right it doesn't guarantee your platform that's a business and you don't get the right to do what you want to do at my business thank you thank you name free speech because you're on twitter right and at the same time for re if a random joe gets up and says hey y'all let's go storm the capital nobody's gonna listen to that well of course not somebody with millions of followers says that in the following i mean come on look they i've seen post of mine shut down just because they were political and i'm not saying they they they it's a infringement on my free speech for their business they did not want to publish it now i'm a little i'm a little disturbed that something comparatively mild to let's go over through the government right and i say you know there seems to be a racial problem in the country yeah and facebook shuts me down that day that's a plan let's go to monica wild hey monica how you doing i'm good bishop how are you doing great girl good to hear your voice it's good to hear you hey hi what's going on girl what's your comment today so my comment is this one i always say you cannot rationalize the irrational and the level of irrational that's going on right now as it pertains to what happened is like mind-boggling it's funny and sad all at the same time and it's coming from so many different avenues so i i think the talking points that they kind of mimic is like equally as sad as all that's happening so now they justify um the actions and the activity by saying well it wasn't trump supporters out there it was actually um infiltrated by antifa and blm that's one of the talking yeah blm was not there no that's obvious blm wasn't that right there's only a few of us in there blm wasn't right they did i only only saw two afros in the crowd so blm blm was not out there it was very odd and then they say well you got to tell a better lie tonight thank you exactly exactly it's like a black james bond you think he's not going to be noticed right thank you thank you in england and the one lady that recently the one that was outed by her daughter yeah um and her she was outed and her uncles were outed because she used to always have debates with her mom regarding you know equal rights for black people and stuff like that so the mom was out there and she tried to punch a black security guard the female oh wow and female went back for the ancestors and punched her in her face and the cop got suspended for it why and she got suspended for it before they said and she got like over six figures from people just you know donating to her because it was just ridiculous not only was she attacked by the woman in this crowd doing her job when she punched the lady the lady like she punched her good like she was bleeding all down her face well the thing the thing is because because there's there's a group of people monica that believe they have a right exactly to inflict violence on certain other people and it's and and the way they find out that it's no right is when they get the crap knocked out of them and i'm not a person i'm not a person that that condones violence but you know you walk up to me and you hit me business is going to pick up yeah exactly you know i got the red i got the reggie white philosophy after i knock you down i'ma thank jesus for you right [Laughter] she was actually just fired the the white lady was fired because her daughter outed her like yeah well i think i think that i think they need to be outed did you did you hear about the other work with them did you hear about the one guy got arrested as soon as his have a comment what pastor nick was saying about you know um the right the the terrorists were saying that's their house we the blacks our ancestors built those houses so really it's our house you know so i don't understand how they can even say that i don't understand how the republicans cannot see what's going on all these people they see it they see people losing their homes they see it they don't care about that jobs yeah i've seen more homes here in delaware than i've ever seen they've they fed their supporters an ideological kool-aid and they're so focused on what they're drinking they don't really notice what's happening to them yeah it's just sad but i had i have a i have a very close friend and when i say close i mean 40 years worth of friendship and he's a republican and i called him and asked him at the beginning of my president's campaign you know how are you going to support him yeah and his i quote him saying he's just talking he's not going to do all of that so i waited about 18 months and called him back again i thought you told me he wasn't gonna do all that his only explanation was man that guy's crazy blow it off because he because he's still a staunch republican you know i haven't had a chance to talk to him since the election i intend to talk to him because i want to see diddy continue to vote and in in the christian community pastor nick it appears to me and correct me if i'm wrong it appears to me that we have i say we clergy believers who support the president have decided to ignore the needs of people how do you do that when when jesus had a language if you will for the hungry for the imprisoned for the disenfranchised he had a language with them yep uh the only language that the modern church does not have is a language for strangers but he also said strangers yep so we you know so i'm i'm i'm wondering how do you focus on something so so intensely and then um ignore some of the obvious other things that are absolutely not kingdom yeah you know i i don't get it i think if your view is to get people to heaven only you don't care what happens to them on the earth that's what is the vibe wow that's the vibe you get net reformed kind of theology that's tainted i'll say it's tainted um and i've been around those crowds you know when i go to my yeah yeah yeah yeah their whole thing is you know they have situational jesus then there you go it's almost like somebody said billy graham as great as he was he would evangelize people like if he was alive during slavery he would evangelize the slaves but let them stay slaves okay because a lot of their goal was let me just get you jesus you know the southern baptist church is built on the slave you know whole foundations yeah um you know and of course electoral the electoral system is built on the ownership of slaves as property which gave them equal right with the northern country so northern northern states so that's you know that's just plain old history nick always say just keep praying for um you know your purpose to come to pass and it may come through someone else yeah well because of the um pandemic the sheraton hotel here in newcastle delaware i've been praying for a shelter down here for years because they're only a small one in wilmington well because of the pandemic the um county brought the sheraton because it went up for auction okay for 19 million dollars turn it into a shelter for the homeless 100 wow yes so i was like god i've been praying and praying god said i answered your prayers but through another you know through another sure sure and um i'm just so you know blessed phenomenal moves yeah but passing it please keep continue to do the journey through the book of psalms sure you just don't know how much it has really helped me in the mornings and i just you know thank you so much you and bishop is just so special to me and have a special place in my heart especially you pastor nick you're not just my brother and second i just wanted to say that talk to you in this video so so i was saying how if you if you watch the the president the timeline he has been building to this since he started campaigning and he started talking about elections being fixed before he got elected so he has been indoctrinating or teaching his followers that it's it's rigged it's rigged it's rigged it's rigged but what bothers me about that is he tends to reveal his own actions by what he says so if it is rigged what did they do illegally to get him elected exactly but he always qualifies it except if it's me so if it's in my benefit then it's not that makes no sense because what that makes no sense to me is is i've got a ballot full of people he's at the top of it republicans are beneath it i'm a democrat trying to fix the election why do i allow all of the uh all of the down down ballot seats to gain victories and give you an advantage in the congress why do i why do i do that that makes no sense at all okay i just you really had a cold wave going through that yeah i'm telling you uh but uh i i just like to say you know about the events that have been going on is that there are key words that they use uh to describe certain people uh when it's a particular situation with black lives matters or something like that they're rioters they're out of order they're trying to overthrow this and that but when they do it it's patriots yeah the word patriots is used and then my mind goes back and thinking about all of the the men and women who have gone off to war and sacrificed their lives that are never acknowledged in big battles and do heroic things and they don't receive any credit for it those are the true patriots yes sir what have you but we get no credit for it wow uh the the other thing that i i wanted to to be aware of and to watch what is going on with the state of florida is that all of a sudden we have this influx of people that are coming in and pastor nick and i we were talking about this before is the logistics of medication for the pandemic is going to certain areas and then other areas are just totally ignored wow did you see the report where um the the backup surplus that the government supposedly administration supposedly said was available the governors are in an uproar because it's it doesn't exist all lies but this is what i don't understand you and your staff have caught coffee the president's gone down his wife his kid all those on his staff you know did all of them went down why keep lying to the american people about it yeah i don't know research to see if this is true okay they got the modern vaccines more in more that was it and not enough pfizer wants it okay because up somebody apparently has some investments you were you took the words right okay i wasn't sure i took it right out of my mouth so that's why they didn't order more fuzzy you got it right on my mind okay i was i wasn't sure i just we're gonna find some more insider trading okay and it's no it's no joke that moderna and fisa were the two contracts at the government and you better believe somebody has put some money in the in those coffers okay to gain from it thank you president a lot of those people believe that they're going to get pardoned and i believe that's why they didn't try to hide their identities and things exactly that this we're going to win we're on the right side and the man in charge president said we can do this and that's i think the mindset that's why they didn't mind being filmed or uh people watching them oh she's right there instead okay come back upstairs ray have my granddaughter with me today y'all okay i i yeah i i agree with you wholeheartedly i'm just i'm amazed but i'm also fully understanding that two wednesdays ago revealed the depth of the anxiety a certain part of our country is feeling and i see that with the expressions of their emotions in that context and their willingness to justify not only breaking in but you know i think i was talking to pastor nick yesterday and you don't bring zip ties for handcuffs if you don't intend to take people hostage um you don't you there's certain things you don't do adults don't do but at the same time i'm distressed for our democratic representatives because some of them now feel that they're in danger from other congressmen and senators because some of these guys are resisting going through a metal detector because they want to carry guns into the debate rooms the chambers it doesn't make any sense to me you know i saw president-elect address the mass situation last night you know and he was like you know he saw people being offered mass and resisting them like six-year-old children and then he said you know he got a little expletive there he's gonna have to go to confession this morning you know you know but the fact of the matter is is that you know wearing a mask has gotten this emotional place with these people um and then our leaders are resisting doing the common thing but you know there's so many buildings you can't carry a weapon into i don't understand what the big deal is i don't yeah why do you think you need one in there exactly both needs to let the hammer down they're not allowed in the building they will drop a hammer cheers he's gonna drop something you know i'm not mistaken washington is dc is like new york you can't have a firearm inside the city limits that's right so you know we're talking about capitol building we i'm i i think you're not supposed to there's a mandatory jail time um i believe if you're not an officer or have some kind of special license you can't walk around with a concealed carry even but but here's here's what i don't understand tom now um uh i'm a gun guy but i know there's certain places i can't carry a gun you're not taking away my right to bear arms because there's certain places i can't care exactly i mean it doesn't seem that deep to figure out you're making too much sense so so so he he you know he got here's here's what bothers me nra of course filed bankruptcy today do they not have money or are they just trying to they're saying they're saying no no they gotta move because new york is indicting them okay for stealing money for for for inappropriate use okay you know jet planes okay vacations for people that don't even work for them i mean all kind of crazy stuff you know five thousand dollar brielle on these suits i mean i mean ten thousand dollars suits i mean just that kind of stuff and most of the people that they represent are not those kind of people not at all they don't even know what a brioni is you know right you know so so you know it it's amazing to me that we're having this discussion because of the reality that we're facing right now i i you know so so so they've been talking about luke they said obama was taking their guns away from they haven't lost a thing pastor nick not one bit they've been talking that trash as a rallying point they're gonna take away our guns they're gonna take away our guns and they have not been taken away obama was in office for eight years the guns are still in place and he said it was it's crazy to think that they would go to everybody's individual loan and home and confiscate their guns that's crazy wait come on it's just it doesn't make any sense but the people that rally them realize if they can stir their emotions they don't have to make sense yep not at all obama even joked about it during the second term that you know nothing's changed with the gun laws it hadn't but now but now their representative is mr has misappropriated funds new york is going after them they got to move to texas because i think they're thinking it'll be a more um welcome place for them to be but are you going to tell me that the supporters are going to continue to send money to them to do the same thing with or has the nra been crippled permanently um then for them you're gonna have they're gonna have their faithful cult supporters okay yeah same amount of money i'm not sure so you just think you i don't think they're gonna raise the same kind of money you're very not the same money okay yeah but they went bankrupt they announced this morning they went bankrupt are you like bankrupt like you know some people rich people they claim bankruptcy but they got money well a president claimed bankruptcy in his companies about seven or eight times okay yeah so they have ways of shielding themselves yeah that's all it is it's bankruptcy as a way to get out from under the debt and and perhaps move and start over but the the problem is is that i think maybe some of the leaders of the nra may be thinking retro sure because you you can't escape stuff with social media now okay you know you're pre you're very present everywhere with social media so trying to move because you think that's going to make a difference i'm not sure it will yeah if i have other questions great man what's going on with giuliani you're not getting paid you gotta you gotta comment on that me and who giuliani not getting paid by trump you cannot get him paid well because he embarrassed the president number two he didn't win a case out there you know he had he had a darn uh press conference at a gardening place and a porn and a porn shop so you know thought he was at the fourth season's hotel when he was at the four seasons landscaping company you know and next door was the adult store so i mean he's been an embarrassment and like everyone else our president throws everyone around him under the bus when it's convenient pence i can't imagine he he was he looked like a devotee for the last four years and the president he sent those people to the building where he was and they wanted to lynch him they were chanting out yes i saw it man it did not help him at all no didn't send anything for him and an hour and a half waiting for the what did you want to happen right again it goes back to that he did it to everybody else but he wouldn't do it to me and he did it to him he did it right to you but it seems like he's falling black in line back in line to me yeah man we gotta go take care talk to you gonna hang up to hear your response okay um during blm it was stated that the police uh they just needed a certain kind of training to be able to deal with the situation so i'm i'm assuming that they they did receive the training and therefore reacted differently you're right that was good the who determined the what again yep wow what you got that man anything on facebook i was looking up something while we were talking yeah about the um the second amendment the right to bear arms and the whole militia thing right and how this group is taking they're one this may be one of the reasons why they don't study it enough they think that that gives them the right to overthrow the government but overthrow the government is called sedition that's right no that's they're they're reading it conveniently like totally out of whack yeah it's a convenient read yeah because i'm i'm i'm like why are they because they keep going back to that we have a right to bear on the right to overthrow the government you have a right to bear arms if the government is trying to take over the country right exactly so if they're invading yes then you can do something you got to write the barons not but if it's if it's something government sanctioned and it's legal and it's appropriate you bearing arms against the government is sedition yes and you go to jail for it yes but i believe that a lot of the leaders of this particular group are banking on the ignorance because i i know myself i've had politicians talk to me and try to take advantage of the fact of what they thought i didn't know and then when i say well you know just a minute that's not what it says it's not what the constitution says that's not how we do business they're usually stunned and you and you almost hear a little snicker on the phone because they are used to people not knowing what's available to you it's like it's like people in the irs most people don't know yet the irs calls you and they've got a problem if you've got an accountant to refer them to yeah it puts space between you and your problem immediately because now they have to turn to the accountant and get the explanation now the accountant has to be your accountant has to have had done your taxes that's who you refer them to that stops the inquiry and turns the inquiry towards the person doing your work yeah most people don't know that so they call yeah intimidate the heck out of you got you paying stuff you don't know whether you owe it or not yeah because you don't have an accountant to help you want to save ten dollars and do your taxes yourself or go to hr block yeah well you can do them yourself but even now you can say well block does them yeah so if if you've got the service paid for it block has to answer the questions most people don't know that they'll tell you that research they need to go back to teaching civics when they stopped teaching that it really it handicapped people yeah a lot of people yeah yeah yeah we used to learn that the civic stuff in elementary schools had that foundation had it yeah he had he's in there but i don't i don't know like like my my my my granddaughter and my daughter and i call him my daughter is studying history and they're studying american history and i was i was patient and patient and weighted because the book that they have uh does address history that relates to her but the way the book is laid out i have to talk to her to reinforce um other realities that are not being presented in the book that she's being taught yeah we to do the same thing my son learned about martin luther king this week i like his teacher real nice lady but she's teaching regular basic part after that class was over we made him watch a youtube clip okay other stuff and i'm convinced and i learned it a couple years ago we need to teach our kids we're responsible for you black history for that they're not going to learn it right oh yeah in school well i and i think that that is consistent with other principles that i believe yeah i think that if you don't school your own kids then by the time the law addresses them it may be too late yep and then you can't blame it on the system when you haven't laid the foundation in the house yep now the bible says train up a child the way they should go now you're not responsible on their adult decisions but you do have an obligation to give them a foundation absolutely you know absolutely and there are a lot of celebrities that i know that have got this let them grow up any kind of way they want and the children have no reference points to come back to yes so you want to give them people need a foundation from which to make a decision so they can refer back to the decision when the questions of life appear before them but you can't just you can't abdicate the responsibility at home and educating and indoctrinating and in our case giving people the skills to survive the street and then expect the school and everybody else to take up the mantle for you you just can't do it and then complain about the system when when if they didn't get it in the house if you didn't talk to them if all you did was ride back and forth you know i tell them all the time when we're in the car put the video game away let's have a conversation let's talk what do you want to talk about talk about anything you want to talk about you know and then if they don't have a subject i always have at least a half a dozen yep yeah but you got to have you have to have that conversation yeah there came that time where we just kind of parents disconnected mm-hmm that tv raised their kids like you said video games and all those things move the responsibility over to something or something someone else yeah and never had that conversation with them about life nah no you got to do it yeah somewhere along the line people want to be their children's friend you know that that was i think that was a significant shift yeah when you if you're going to parent and you know this popularity is not your top priority not at all not at all want you to love me i want you to honor me but you know i'm not trying to make friendly decisions for you not at all not at all i got it i got to talk to you and i think in our position we've had to learn how to love people but at the same time i'm popularity with the people uh has to be sacrificed for direction yep yep you know you get you have to teach those people that are with you what does say the lord and and um sometimes it's going to be unpopular absolutely and in in in a loving way yeah i i think what that was back in the day when parents when a lot of parents didn't care how you felt they just said things however they wanted to say them yeah and then that generation took it yeah and said let me be the exact opposite rather than say let me keep the principles but reshape how but i think a lot of our parents were speaking out of uh years and years of frustration absolutely yeah you know and really not being taught the skill taught to work taught to provide for a family but not necessarily taught to nurture the emotions of a family yep i think that's is a skill you have to intentionally try to apprehend or it's something some people have an instinct for it but a lot of parents in my parents generation you know didn't have that yeah they didn't my mom had it my dad didn't have it yeah it was it was we didn't have time to talk so we just whooped you behind you you did instead of having a conversation because they were generally too tired when they got to work all day yeah just do all this crap plus i've already talked to you about this yeah since you can't figure it out yeah i gotta stimulate you a little bit stimulate you a little bit but i know some parents that they never talk they just beat that's what the kids that's wrong that's right and and my grandmother said you want you want the physical part to be a shock yes because you can get used to anything so grandma was like let me talk to you let me talk to you let me talk to you and then the one time you were expecting a conversation she nailed you and then the next time she talked it was like you had a new sense of understanding and focus yeah i got a grandma i understand yeah yeah i don't want you to do that again right you know show me the other side and maybe it may be even spiritual god has shown us that other side well yeah well he does because he has another one this this this this era of judgment is he didn't he didn't send kobe he's sending all this stuff but he's allowed it though yeah he's using it he's using it oh he's using it yeah i was i was um i reached out to my friend warnock from georgia haven't had a chance to get through to him obviously because of what he's doing but um he's in a historic place yeah in a historic position and going to go to washington with a real significant place in history and possibly a pivotal voice yeah uh he and us are pivotal voices and um i think i think georgia is an indication i'm jumping around i got a problem with the fact that i think and correct me because we only got about 30 seconds left some of this passion appears to be the reaction an emotional reaction to the fact that people of color in this country can elect whoever they want to eliminate because they only went after the places where the black folk came out and voted like crazy and you can't ignore that you know so it's another attempt to disenfranchise this whole turning over the election by the republicans is another attempt to disenfranchise the people of color vote because it's only in the places where they really turned out georgia pennsylvania michigan michigan and got those victories that there's this issue and they
