all having a smashing day this is like before I really did any comedy on my channel I was just like oh I should probably have like some talking in this story I've been working my buns off on original music recently but I finally found the time to add background music to my impressions hope this might make your day smash even harder why does it look like you're super high I don't know it's probably one of the ways that I cheated or whatever when I found these videos but it's very obviously this video doesn't feel like it's cheating yeah you weren't trying to hide it no often one voice would take a full day there's so much work in this I think [Music] that wasn't nothing good I think I'm singing it exactly technically like he does it just I don't match the voice did enough rain naturally maybe I'm not the best impression it's like I can do all right now because I've been practicing it so much making these videos right but back then it was like I learned it while filming so you would just do like I already 40 for some voices maybe up to 300 takes of the same vocal line just trying to get it as close as possible some people will lip sync for this type of videos I never did that I just kept filming [Music] okay so another it's very secret secret so there's a lot actually a vocal production that went into this obviously you guys know that I'm a vocal producer to some extent the Tyler Joseph won on the original there's like a lot of distortion on the vocals it's not super much for this like a little bit so I try to match the amount of distortion that he had on his voice in mine so there's a little bit of like distortion on the vocal right here just like clipping like it's just like a little bit and here for Drake we have obviously a lot of attitude and I've said this before I used outta tune to some extent on a lot of these not on all of them but I would say on the majority there is auto-tune because that's how you sound like drink more my drink impression isn't the best anyway but it's closer because of the odds [Music] I remember when you first released this ad I was in a period of our life where we weren't talking on a day-to-day basis I saw it I was like does he think that that female impression is actually good yeah yeah I mean obviously I I would assume it was part of it was like for the lulz because you're a guy oh yeah yeah my manager says like a normal voice and it says missing even like a kind of normal boyish voice I think anyone you're gonna sound like Shawn Mendes yeah that said though he's a really sound like Shawn Mendes doesn't you suck my youth is yours trippin on skies sippin wad [Music] [Applause] don't wanna be there [Music] all of the actual impressions though there was pretty good actually I think we need to roast more nice hairline that [Music] one's not really that close but just like opera and like I sound like some operatically primarily when I saw that when that came out that like influenced me a lot in that period of my life not in class but like every day I drove to work is I was working at a camping like I was that guy oh yeah take it place one be with your trailer please everyday to work I would say I couldn't hit the high note reason you made me try out opera and I stopped because I wasn't that good this video was filmed over I think two and a half weeks but I'm wearing the same shirt every day and I didn't wash it and I tried to do the hair in the same everyday and I really failed you will see that throughout this part of the video my hair just changes slightly every day and you're so warm in that flat and I was singing all day every day for ages I was just so sweaty you can see it in a lot of these because I'm just sweating like oh do you what do you want a medal I worked hard okay or do you want to diploma I can explain I like the face everyone keeps that need to be Dallas it's a proper in horror face I think that I found myself a cheerleader depression is pretty good though but for the sake of the theme of this video of the oppression this was one of those it took so long to make in the beginning you're more like relax as you get more and more tired you gotta like start new faces to try to keep like singing without like her like this like take number 87 inside of your head I can feel you go like oh I got a fan mail ones to my old P o box that said electro I love your impressions however my dad's dentist and he keeps asking me why your teeth are so yellow this whole flat was like just gray white but for some reason the white balance is so yellow to be fair this was like readme getting hired for the room each other yeah you know I didn't know anything about color correction and I didn't know either when I started I light I didn't have any skills I was googling that all night now it's like whoa how do you it I stare about look at this photograph that was all I could do over that song I actually did along your part and I recorded and everything else son that like garbage times like oh I just used to look at this photograph okay I'm pretty lucky for you that that's really the only line people care about anyways yeah and also doing those like distorted voices depends of what type of distortion it is but often we just like really kill your throat to do that especially if you're like Edie takes of it yeah especially when you don't have any technique or knowledge of how to actually sing now is not that accurate with tone honestly but just like the attitudes right it's just like you know that kind of like makes it work for me look how sweaty I am here too you can see on the nose how sweaty I am this is like the light being reflected in my sweater a job you know there's a light behind the camera and it's just like Brady I had to let go wipe down my eyes because I got like salty sweat in my eyes many people said that that just sounds like spongebob and not like Andy Grammer I'm inclined to agree I don't really know what he sounds like to be a spongebob no no Andy Grammer yeah he's got basically that voice but like a bit more meat to it for some reason I think maybe just got like really big vocal cords so he can kind of be nice to get over-the-top movement of the okay let's be real Oh even though you did such a short part how close was it from a scale from one to ten this is not too bad honestly give it a number it's a six point five out of ten incorrect it's a six point two funny story about this was basically a Little John reached out to me afterwards but yeah this is all the impressions were good apart from me uh-oh you can't do my bow it sounds like how about we meet up and and you can show me how to do your voice in together sure like come do it I was gonna do it I think he got cold feet laters I'm thinking he kept answering me but then it was no it's gonna be it's gonna be tight I don't know if I can do it were less I would do if I also regretted committed to something listen to me whine I wonder if people thought that did this all in one day that was not on the same day both hair changing hair goes more up and shirt somehow gets folded in that's the worst one that Ackerman Depression I must confess when this video when that video came out as well and that impression came on I remember feeling like does he think that that but still one was good actually I didn't think that one was good I had a friend in my studio with Madame this was all like part of a studio complex I had my friend I was like oh which one saw the best I won't have the best ones first and he insisted but that one was really good that should have that one early on cuz they okay whatever I'll do you got trolled also can we just appreciate that this is the only video where I'm actually looking okay no we can't appreciate that move on that's a relatively cute boy right there that's not too bad I mean in really normal circumstances 10 out of 10 I would freak under these rows with your circumstances I figure [Music] you talk dirty to big secret this is big secret mum so basically the setup I figured out keep this in mind if you want to do your own impressions because this is maybe the easiest way to do it you cut out the parts that you want to do the impression of and then you have just like in your music program you make a loop you just have like quiet after the part you wanted an impression of and then you do it and then it loops again so you listen between every take you listen to the original again which means that for every loop you will probably get a little bit better and get a little bit more muscle memory while also making sure that you're doing a good impression right I think people assume that I can do the impressions just like from I just listen to lots of the singers or something but it's a very narrow skill it's doing that specific phrase so like when I say that dealing a hundred takes of something I didn't do the whole song how many times I think a phrase that I decided it still takes in a long long time that's my biggest cheat I think I don't think people realize that alpha when I went some TV shows Afton's people thought they're like oh you're no well singing a song like this I was like I can't do that like people like Anthony Vince okay you can come to do that because he practiced this more than I can well I'm just like oh yeah this one word now it's whatever just singing oh yes Wow I think vocal production wise I also just boosted a bunch of bass in it because I'm a small boy right I can't feel it that was one guy 43 voices overall Jonas what's the review how good is better than I remembered I feel like I don't know a fair estimate I feel like let's use do the incorrect math or whatever but like 70% of them are like pretty good like good and then maybe 50% of them are like yeah I mean that sounds like that you sing but maybe if you would actually listen to it it might not actually be that close and then maybe 15% of them are like yeah I also asked on discord I'm the Rumi disc which ever link in the description you guys to roast this video let's see what we got you sound bad yep good what you look like you just saw your parents doing weird stuff oh yeah it Vietnam flashback you were trying to smile your life black or if indeed it better no no not allowed out of 43 voices your voices to work this loop obviously uses auto-tune what a scam I did though but watch the video ha ha people think that that would make those impressions easier maybe to some extent it made it easier because maybe some of the impressions would have been too off-key to use I don't remember if that was the case so maybe but like it doesn't change the voice so just make it more on pitch no no no no no because his lips what actually I think I might have had like a blister on the lips yeah you see a lot getting stuck here and there's like a little blister there I don't think his herpes okay I think it's just a blister I don't know though don't look away from me oh you try you try copying PewDiePie's I how would I do that I just gonna call you out from there for now without copying PewDiePie's eyes okay oh this one is accurate though you sound like a dying puppet Kermit
