amen oh how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity oh can we just give god a praise for all day long we have been with jesus and it has been a glorious day uh north carolina third will you stand on your feet and let's just give god the glory mother taught us on this morning that we should have a praise hallelujah so we are entering hallelujah with the praise in our heart and on our lips can someone just shout hallelujah in the house glory can somebody just shout praise the lord in the house hallelujah he is great and certainly the lord is greatly to be praised glory to god will you remain standing for for the invocation by mother willardine turner from the new horizon district and then the scripture by first lady sharon grant the success district yes yes yes yes yes yes lord yes lord yes lord yes the lord yes lord oh god our heavenly father we thank you o god for being able to assemble ourselves together in the name of jesus oh god we love you today and our souls say yes yes to your will yes to your way oh god thank you lord for being god the only true and living god the only wise god our savior oh god from everlasting to everlasting thou art god hallelujah hallelujah oh god we bless your name today we praise you tonight lord we glorify you oh god we thank you for this women's convention and how you've been blessing lord have you been sinning your word and oh god be asking you to do it again tonight lord send your word lord in the name of jesus send your word and save lord in the name of jesus send your word and heal in the name of jesus uplift oh god those hung down heads in the name of jesus lord we thank you o god for our present and praise the lord of this women's convention mother beverly degeneres well we thank god for you we thank god thank you oh god for giving her to us but we have she has your people lord at heart and we just thank god for how she works with other neighbors without superintendent by our bishop praise the lord i thank god for our bishop and all god i ask you to look on him oh god as he lead your people from earth to glory use him lord in the name of jesus oh keep us by the strong lord in the name of jesus and all god has these two o god work together god for our good o god bless the lord and keep them well keep them up on the mountaintop in the name of jesus oh god look on every woman on tonight oh god in the name of jesus the superintendent of wives oh god every every wife of tonight lord oh god the children on tonight even the little girls oh god in the name of jesus bless o god in the name of jesus every missionary every pastor's wife oh god every evangelist oh god look on the lord and blessed in the name of jesus every superintendent in the name of jesus every pastor lay man just everybody oh god bless o god in the name of jesus bless nc third oh god let this be a light hallelujah and people can look to oh god and oh god i just thank you for god for the privilege of god to call on your holy and righteous name hallelujah praise god thank you jesus sent your word on tonight through the woman of god use her mighty name o god meet every need oh god whatever the need is oh god you were able to do all things there's nothing too hard for you and we just thank god for being able to serve the true and living god and oh god when we have done all that you have decided our senior for allowing the women of god to have this space and time we thank god for the chief of staff and all of the administrative assistants and what about our jurisdictional supervisor of the department of women mother beverly d journey and if you were here this morning you know that the spirit of the lord was in this place because she delivered a powerful and an anointed word from the lord we thank god for our jurisdictional supervised our jurisdictional first lady first lady pamela wooden and we thank god for mother and her guest our speaker is in the house amen we thank god for sup supervisor diane bogan and the incoming of supervisor butts we just thank god because you know what and we thank god for each and every one of you why don't you put your hands together for your sisters and brothers in the lord well it's praising worship time in the sanctuary and mother told us this morning that we should have a praise so as the worship team goes forth please participate and get into the service because what you put in the service is certainly what you're gonna get out of it let's receive the worship team at this time come on hallelujah come on give lord the praise and getting out of neutral going on drive and moving forward our first lady is somebody special and we love her don't we nc third i said don't we love our first lady amen she is powerful and anointed and she always has a word fit in season if you would let's receive first lady pamela wooden at this time god bless you clap your hands for the lord jesus ah come on and let's give god a thunderous praise in the house we bless the lord for being in the sanctuary one more time and to him we give all the praise all the glory and all of the honor because he is worthy amen we do give honor and respect to our uh jurisdictional prelate bishop wouldn't we thank god for of the man of god he's on campus and we'll be out shortly we thank god for the chief of staff in his absence but to first assistant stone amen and to all the administrative assistants and pastors praise the lord to uh our beautiful mother mother djing god bless you woman of god and i tell you we salute you for a job well done what an awesome women's convention we have been having on this week hasn't the lord blessed us every day every night his presence and his glory has been with us and we thank god for that and you know um we thank god for how our mother is so giving and and just have worked so hard to put together such an awesome conference and tonight is her night amen tonight is her night and we have come to be a special blessing to this woman of god she has labored untiringly all year long it didn't just start when she arrived here on this week but even when she's not here she's at work she's busy on behalf of the jurisdiction doing the work praise the lord of the department of women and so tonight is the time that we set aside to bless her and to appreciate her she's traveled throughout of the jurisdiction from district to district meeting with district missionaries and seeing what she can do to be a blessing and to be a help on the district level she has been working amen she is not a lazy supervisor she has been working untiredly and we're just so proud of her and so honored uh what about what the lord is doing uh in her life and we thank god for the connection you know prior to uh us coming together with nc third we didn't even know each other i praise the lord many of us didn't didn't know each other living right here in north carolina but god saw fit to draw us all together for such a time as this for his will and for his glory and god has taken us from height to height and from glory to glory and so we're excited about this opportunity to be a blessing to this woman of god and i'll tell you we are have been extremely blessed oh to have supervisor don and bogan to be our speaker on tonight oh she is no stranger to us we know that god has given her a season on time ready word for the women of god and we're looking so forward to hearing from her we thank god for the anointing that god has placed upon her life and we're certainly blessed uh to have mother butts to come i think it's the first time she has been with us uh and since we have officially formed as north carolina third we're so proud uh that she is here with us as well we thank god for um the administrative assistance wise the pastor's wives god bless each of you looking forward uh to meeting with you on tomorrow night and we're so looking forward to hearing the word of god on tonight so i say to you as i always do set out your cups and prepare your hearts to hear and to receive the word of the lord god bless you and i thank you again for on last night you were so kind to me i march of the auxiliaries and ministries of the north carolina third department of women amen just imagine just a few years ago we did not even exist but now here we are six years later we've overcome a pandemic and we are yet marching under the leadership of our bishop bishop patrick l wooden senior and our supervisor our honoree our jurisdictional supervisor mother beverly dijonai our theme this year is that we are women called and available so in the march we are going to say we are sold out do we have any sold out women in the house tonight come on clap your hands come on women come on my mind is made up let's say it together one time come on one more time i need your help slow down hey my mind all right starting off the march we are beginning with the representatives of the department of women for the north carolina third jurisdiction you know who is other our leader our jurisdictional supervisor mother beverly d'journey hallelujah come on every woman ought to be cheering hallelujah for the department of women god has made a place for us in his church and we are so glad come on show us your banner yes hallelujah and next we have the pastor's wives hallelujah under the in our side we do honor the spirit of the lord on tonight and there's someone very special that we want to recognize in this sixth a women's convention on tonight and we're calling district missionary margaret mose if you would come forward greetings as we are waiting on mystic missionary mose to come in we as the district missionaries feel that it is important that we honor those who serve with us and what we know that even though our jurisdiction may only be six years old there has been a constant person that has been consistent in three of the districts since we have been in existence amen in 1992 she was appointed district missionary of the greater triangle district under the leadership at that time of superintendent patrick well wooden senior and then as our bishop became elevated he elevated pastor will nichols to superintendent will nichols and she became the district missionary of the greater triangle district and on last year as our bishop saw fit to elevate pastor william cooper to superintendent william cooper she became the district missionary of the new horizon district amen [Applause] never in the history of our church have we had someone that has served in three districts and so on tonight district missionary mose if you would please come forward [Music] amen amen [Applause] amen it's for you tonight not only has she assisted the district missionaries because of her tenure and her service as a district missionary she has encouraged and assist many of our new district missionaries and not only that she has been a consultant and a help to your supervisor she had worked very closely in her previous jurisdiction so she came with much knowledge she came with skills in the work of the women's department and i have just embraced her and received her help she serves and leads the executive board in the department of women and on tonight district missionary moles we just want to let you know we love you we love you we love you not in words only we've got some plus love over there you know what plus love is it's the kind you take to the bank and also a moment oh my god and the plaque reads district missionary margaret mose an appreciation for your 29 years of commitment and dedication to the greater central greater triangle at new horizons district september 30th 2021 mother beverly degeneres and the nc 3rd jurisdiction district missionaries appreciate you we thank god for you we know that you are truly sold out for the lord amen amen and we it is our prayer that god continues to bless you and keep you and cause his face to continue to and we do honor the lord for our jurisdictional prelate whom i have the honor to again introduce and to present on tonight we also want to echo our appreciation our congratulations to our supervisor of women of the women's department here at nc 3rd mother beverly dj excellent job you have done and planning and all the things that have taken place thus far during this women's convention amen to our jurisdiction of first lady first lady pamela wooden did she not preach the word of god on last night my opinion almost ran out of ink i was taking so many notes i was trying to write so fast she was giving us so much so much history and insight and i'm telling you she just blessed us tremendously and we are looking forward tonight to the word of god that's going to come from supervisor bogan amen we thank god amen and mother but you blessed me on tonight you blessed us your words of encouragement we thank god for these wonderful women our chief of staff's wife first lady barely quick my wife in her absence she sends her love she had to take of business on tonight but again to all these women of god let's thank god for these beautiful women executive board wives pastors wives these administrative assistants and pastors who are here we honor the lord on tonight listen i am honored to present to us and again to introduce our bishop again he needs no introduction and again he is no stranger to nc third nor to those who may be watching worldwide he is a man of integrity he is a man who stands again firm in the word of god and one of the things that i'm i'm admonished to again say about this man of god is echoed in the scripture psalm 37 and 37 tells us in the word of god that we are to mark the perfect man that doesn't mean that the man is without fault it simply means that word perfect means the mature man the one who has again a level of maturity development spiritual insight and character that again that can be noted in other words he said take notice of such a man and then he goes on and says behold the upright one who is walking that means living as well as declaring as our bishop does he declares the word of god he defends again the truth of the scriptures even though the scriptures don't need to be defended they stand again alone and stand authoritative all by themselves but there are those who are naysayers and those who would try to resist truth and truth has to again be presented our bishop does that like none other that i know and the bible tells us you behold an upright man who's walking that way who's living that way who is declaring the actual word of god and it's not just declared by mouth but declared by life he says if you will keep your eyes if you will follow the faith of that man he said you know what the end you will be blessed the end of that man is blessed and so this is what we have in nc third we have a blessing we have again the blessing that comes from the lord and we are honored on tonight to be under this man of god's leadership to follow the vision that god has given him and to continue to stand and fight the battles of the lord so come on let's stand on our feet all over this sanctuary and let's receive the jurisdictional pellet of nc third the bishop patrick lane wooden senior as he comes to address us on tonight let us give the lord praises tonight what a mighty god what a mighty god we serve amen you might be seated in his presence we want to move as expeditiously as possible i um i i was i've been here at the church ever since uh 6 00 p.m and we've been in the back on working with our presiding bishop uh participating in the i love my church campaign and bishop golden and i have been on and we've been encouraging people all over the country to give to what i believe hands down no two ways about it the greatest church in the world the church of god in christ amen it was a church of god in christ preacher who preached me out of my sins it was the church of god in christ that brought me into a culture that changed the trajectory of my life i was headed nowhere fast and the lord saved me and uh and i got in i was a united methodist and i got into the church of god in christ and my community couldn't understand why i was going downtown to the sanctified church they said god is everywhere i didn't know any scriptures i told them i said i agree with you god is everywhere but the preacher who made me want to serve god his church is right down the street so i want to learn and you know what happened i got around sanctified young people i had never been around saved young people who were truly saved and you notice i noticed something i noticed that they had something a spark in their eye an excitement that that that i didn't have and until the lord saved my soul on november the 20th 1977 on a sunday morning around 2 p.m in the afternoon and i've been running for jesus ever since how many remember the day that you came through amen i've talked to people who have told me i said do you do you remember how you got saved they said oh no i just i've just been in the church all of my life and i just migrated from this and that and i just became a pastor and so forth and so on and i said to myself they've never been saved because you can't meet jesus you may not remember the day nor the hour but you remember that something happened you can't meet jesus and not know that you're you're mad at me amen so i'm i'm grateful i'm grateful all that i have is because of this great church and it was a honor to serve to even be asked by the presiding bishop to help with this effort and i'm 100 in his corner and uh he's doing a tremendous job let's thank god for our uh presiding prelate the bishop jay drew shed amen and he he and his lovely wife first lady evangelist karen shearer they're right there together and pushing this campaign tonight and so i want you to pray for the success of the campaign and we have a campaign here now i want you to know that thus far uh between uh my wife and i gave ten thousand dollars the upper room gave ten thousand dollars uh nc third jurisdiction from the treasurer gave five thousand dollars that doesn't count the huge donations that we receive from leaders in the jurisdiction that have turned in monies so our jurisdiction represents well over fifty thousand dollars or so in helping with the effort amen we're only six years old but we're no hey we were born walking and and born talking and and i'm grateful to that uh our chief of staff gave two thousand five hundred dollars uh uh superintendent wilbur nichols gave two thousand five hundred dollars we're giving and the others gave but these call me and let me know we gave to the effort and let me tell you uh our church is involved in missions our church is helping people in haiti our church is helping people in uh uh um what they got burned out at uh and uh they were talking about some things in south africa when people suffered losses well our church is answering all of these uh things and i've often said that the great work of the church of god in christ doesn't get told we we we're not the best marketers because we allow our critics and our enemies to define us and uh and what they'll do they'll find some knucklehead who did something stupid and say that's the church of god in christ no this is the church of god in christ and i'm proud of my church our local church campaign is i believe in what my church is doing and god gave me that some years ago for our church and the lord have since then blessed us to pay off the church best blessed us to do things that the devil said we would never be able to do but by the grace of god the lord brought it to pass how about our tremendous supervisor tonight we certainly thank god for her and we're getting ready to bless this mighty woman of god i am still rejoicing off of the word of the lord that i heard on last evening from that tremendous speaker first lady pamela mcneil wooden she preached the word of the lord with power and authority and i am glad god bless tonight our wonderful guest i hope you're ready because you're going to hear a mighty word coming from uh supervisor mother diane bogan every time she's spoken here our church has been made better and and and it will be the same tonight let's say amen for her we're grateful tonight for mother butts being with us tonight what a wonderful woman of god she is and to all of the saints and i know she's watching tonight i want to give a great big shout out to my mother amen my first evangelist the woman who told me about jesus christ and told me about my my pastor uh uh she was the one who met him and brought me and my brothers to hear and preach and everything change from that point on so i am extremely grateful i'm about to take my seat i honor just everyone i know i'm leaving somebody out but i want to move as quickly as possible because i'm enjoying working with our first assistant we're tag teaming this week uh last night we had a task to to receive the budget and uh and i want you to know i want you to give yourselves a big hand we raised our budget on last night one offering one offering one service and the budget has been met and i rejoice even with uh the wonderful things that were presented to district missionary most she's my district missionary she's worthy of all those things and i thought to myself thank god for the budget because all of that was in the budget say amen so thank you for your generous giving on tonight uh i i mentioned someone last night and uh in case uh someone uh want to know more i was talking about the word homophobia and i mentioned to you that it was a made up term it's not uh george weinberg that's his name dr george weinberg a psychotherapist and what happened was it was a recent incident uh and this was a he said that a group of colleagues learning that that a friend was bringing to a party uh a lesbian and uh asked that she uh be disinvited to the party and he sensed not just dislike but he said but also fear a feel so extreme that it suggests some of the characteristics of a phobia i coined the word homophobia so that's the history of it they didn't hit anybody they didn't kick anybody they didn't attack anybody they were just uncomfortable with the person uh who was a lesbian coming to their party that they had never met and they came up with a term a term that have shaken the whole church world and it amazes how satan can come up with little terms to shake us up and uh and what they're counting on they count on church folk not doing any studies not checking out the history of anything not studying the ethnology of a word and so we think that these are legitimate terms when they're not i'll give you an a legitimate term jesus a legitimate word how precious is that name he'll save you he'll deliver you he'll set you free doesn't matter who you are that's power in the name of jesus how many know that that is that that's so tonight well listen uh my first assistant we're enjoying this and i just love working with um the women of god i enjoy working with our supervisor i enjoy of all the things that have transpired you should have if you weren't here today and you didn't see it online please go back and look at what we heard from the mothers and their daughters it was a awesome awesome presentation we've been having a time all week long my first assistant since we're tag teaming i told him i said i'll take the budget for tomorrow night and uh and we'll tag off and you uh receive the offering for of the supervisor he was prepared to do whatever i asked of him and he's here tonight and he's ready and uh mother we we this is not by happenstance we got together on our colors amen i i called i i texted him i said look man let's uh since the women are wearing white let's let's support the ladies and so i asked him i said well you we are you gonna wear your white suit he said if you do it i'll do it so we're here mother praise the lord showing our support do you love the lord are you happy in jesus amen i i'm i'm i'm not saved and mad about it see see i'm i'm glad to be saving you i'm glad to be in church not everybody is saved and glad i'm glad that i'm not an uptight christian because if you're an uptight christian for too long it means you're not a christian because christians did come to make you uptight christ said i come that they might have life and that they might have it what more abundantly come on first assistant stone and let's receive this offering and be a blessing to our jurisdictional secretary supervisor receive him at this time come on let's put our hands together for our jurisdictional prelate amen for those words and of course the wisdom that he gives us now i'm honored to stand before you on tonight to again raise this mighty offering for our supervisor of the women's department now i love doing this kind of stuff i love again raising all friends for again men and women who serve the lord because one of the things you want to keep in mind is that giving is biblical giving is biblical and all throughout the word of god you will find that god's people whenever they wanted to worship him they brought the lord an offering we can't worship without giving amen and so when we understand the importance of giving and that is worship unto the lord then we get excited i'm like what bishop wooden just said i've been saved for going on 33 years on october 23rd of this year i have been saved almost 33 years and out of those 33 years i can't remember too many times that i was down i mean i just i'm just being honest because when the lord came in he brought joy now prior to getting saved i stayed mad i was mad at the world i didn't like a whole lot of people i wouldn't like none of you all probably but when god saved me but when god saved me he gave me a love for all kind of people and that's just the joy of the lord and i and this bishop that i remember the day i remember the hour i remember the place i remember the people that was in church on that sunday morning and you got to know that we serve a mighty mighty good god that is great and greatly to be praised and on tonight so i'm excited again to not only honor the lord in this this this worship but to honor this wonderful worthy woman of god who we are going to honor on tonight and of course i'm excited uh to take you to the word of god already prepared to give some of our administrative assistants but i want to just admonish you from the word of god if you have your bibles go with me really quick to the book of saint luke luke's gospel because i want to talk to some of the women and then i want to talk to the rest of us on tonight luke chapter number 8 when you have it say amen the one thing i know about one thing i know about women y'all got some money women keep money i'm gonna bear witness to it right here in luke chapter eight look what the bible says here luke chapter 8 verse 3 says and joanna the wife of shusa herod stewart and susannah and many others which ministered unto him of their substance there were women in the time that christ walked the earth and ministered healed and cast out devils and raised the dead and did all the wonderful works that he did as well as preach and teach the word of god he had those who he called those 12 men that they he called from their occupations to come and follow him and to begin to do the work of the lord he had those who were supporting that full-time work and some of these were women tell somebody women these women had substance these women had resources and they ministered unto the lord from those resources from their substance and they blessed the lord and the ministry again continued and so on tonight women of god and i'm talking to men of god as well i'm gonna get to them in just a minute i want you to understand the lord has given you substance he's given us all substance the bible says he gives us seed to sow and he gives us bread to eat we don't eat our seed because we're not birds we sow seed we sow seed so that we can have bread and so tonight we are we're going to give on tonight of the substance that god has given us because this is the work of the lord the actual work that god has again birthed and allowed through nc third under the visionary leadership of our jurisdictional prelate of course the women's department and and all that our supervisor of the women's department does comes under our bishops again authority and of course his blessing so on this week everything that you have received thus far from wednesday night all of the great teaching that you've received as well as what we heard on last night through our jurisdictional first lady as well as what you are going what you receive today as well as what we receive tonight and then on tomorrow that came by way of the actual vision and the heart of this woman of god supervisor mother beverly dj and the scripture tells us in galatians 6 and 6 those who teach the word of god to us we ought to share our substance with those who teach everything that's been expressed on this week during this women's convention is an extension of this woman's vision so we have received and we're receiving teaching instruction impartation blessing from the lord and the bible said god says when we receive from the one who instructs we ought to again give back to that one and that's what we're going to do on tonight and we are excited to do that i am looking forward to getting this seed in the soil of god's ground through this woman of god because not only and i don't have to try to sell in no kind of way no kind of way because listen her her actual virtue goes before us she's a beautiful woman of god she's a virtuous woman she is a hard-working woman you heard first lady wouldn't speak about and and and she travels the length and breadth of our jurisdiction north carolina south carolina virginia again ministering to the needs of the saints of god ministering and building up the women's department she has a heart for the women of god she loves again our leader supports him she's not fussy she's not ornery she's not funny acting she's not someone that you gotta worry about that's gonna try to hurt you i love her i have been privileged to work with her for some years now and i thank god for such a great woman she kind of reminds me and we're going to give she kind of reminds me of this analogy and i love this and we're going to give some how many y'all like nice cars yeah you like nice guys now you know when you buy a nice car like i'm talking about exotic cars maseratis lamborghinis bentleys rolls royce those are exotic cars not everybody buys cars like that the people who buy cars like that they buy them with again purpose you know you don't go to you don't go to a bentley lot lamborghini maserati lot and rolls royce lot and you try to go in and go to haggling haggling with the sails well yeah i see a scratch right there how much you gonna take out i don't i don't i don't i don't see that this car has a clear coat how much you're gonna take out i mean what what can i get from my trade-in you know you don't trade cars in at those lots salesmen have easy they have easy jobs selling those type of cars because the only people who buy those types of cars they know what they're buying they know what's in that car they know the value and they're not looking to cheapen it they're not looking to try to again bring it down because they understand what they have and what they are buying what they are investing in we have the rolls royce of supervisors in the women's department in nc 3rd we have the maserati we got the lamborghini we got the bentley of supervisors in this great church and we value her and we are going to honor her on tonight so we're excited again to give and so listen myself and some of the here in north carolina third ecclesiastical jurisdiction so we thank god take giant steps i'll say you don't need god if you're going to take baby steps you always got somebody holding on both sides for that but when you take giant steps you need god to help you so we pray that the lord will continue to bless this jurisdiction certainly to first lady who we enjoyed last night i tell you i told her i said that needs to be okay i've spoken in the national but anyways you know we got a lot of you know we we got a lot of folks talking but they ain't saying the stuff that need to be said we got too many young women and women all out listening on this social media that need to hear what first lady had to say on last night i told her i said everybody they always talk about daniel the lions i see some people i have a couple of my friends that came here as a matter of fact sister joanne brock and she lives somewhere in north carolina i have no idea but she came and this was bishop bogan's first convert when he was installed as pastor wave your hand sister joanne and i have one of our assistant church mothers and the coordinator of our women's convention missionary arne odom it's here wave your hands is the odom and uh we're just so thankful that they thought that they could come by and just see and and pray for me you know this is a big podium right here but at the burwell and sister burrow just pray for me you all from detroit so you know it just just pray for me but i want to say i'm i'm going to ask sister janice can you bring that box here i i have uh that was my official offering but you know i wanted to give you some love so i have a love token for you and i have a gift for you [Applause] now bless your mother you know women love gifts alexander graham bell when he invented the telephone he wanted the people to answer and say ahoy but thomas edison changed it to hello the russians answer their phone calls by saying i'm listening the french answers their calls with who's on the phone the italians say ready the spanish say speak the germans answer by saying their last names portuguese says i'm here these are some phrases that we connect to when we say we've been called by god and yes sometimes we actually question whether or not it is god that's calling us listen at some of the the people in the bible who answer god's call jonah he said here am i but i'm not going moses he said here am i send someone else the prophet isaiah says here am i send me the prophet isaiah was ordained and set apart to the prophetic office by commission however god saw fit to renew his commission here in the sixth chapter in such a matter as to excite and encourage his zeal king azad was dead and that had an impact on isaiah because they were friends also king ozza had reigned for about 52 years the greatest king the jews had known since king david so isaiah went to the temple to worship and to find comfort for david wrote in psalms 63 and 2 in your sanctuary i see your power and glory here he saw that god was yet in control the king of kings was yet on his throne he saw god's fullness his robe his train his glory filled the room so you know when you see god's glory come in there's no room for anyone else he saw god's holiness and he saw the power of god it is only after we have grasped the majesty of god our own inadequacy and simple sinfulness and the grace of god that cleanses us that we are properly [Music] motivated to do the lord's work so let's go to our text isaiah the sixth chapter one through eight and it reads in the year that king azad died i saw the also saw the lord sitting upon the throne high and lifted up and his train filled the temple above it stood the seraphim each one had six wings with twain he covered his face with twain he covers his feet that is the whole body and with twain he did fly and one cried unto the other and said holy holy holy is the lord of hosts the whole world is full of his glory and the post of the doors moved at the voice of him that cried and the house was filled with smoke then said i woe is me for i am undone because i am a man of unclean lips and i dwelled in the midst of a people of unclean lips for mine eyes have seen the king the lord of hosts then flew one of the seraphims unto me having a live coal in his hand which he had taken with the tongues from off the altar and he laid it upon my mouth and said lo this hath touched thy lips and thine iniquity is taken away and thy sin purge also i heard the voice of the lord saying whom shall i send and who will go for us then i said here am i send me here am i send me isaiah was to deliver a hard truth to a disobedient people but god told isaiah to just tell them the truth when god calls you you must tell the truth when god calls you that's an honor it is the favor of god but sometimes the question may be is your heart right or are you ready and available to serve no one is allowed to go for god to serve in his kingdom but those who are sent by him he will own no none by nobody but those whom he has appointed and anointed when we say here am i send me we must wait on god's directions women it is christ's work to put people into the ministry he chooses whom he will and uses them whether you feel like they are worthy or not to serve listen what apostle paul said in first timothy first chapter 12-14 it says and i thank christ jesus our lord who had enabled me for that he counted me faithful putting me putting me into the ministry he didn't walk in it on his own but the bible said he put him in the ministry who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor an endurance but i obtained mercy because i did it ignorantly in unbelief and the grace of our lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in christ jesus when you make yourself available you will be assured that god will support you the power of god and the strength of god gives us the will to do and to triumph over the challenges that we will meet the troubles that we will face in the ministry he gives us the courage we need when we should be panicking falling apart when the enemy tries to attack us and make you think god has not called you to the ministry trust me you weren't born with the ability to do that work jesus gives gifts to the people for the church after you confess and believe and accept him as your lord and savior he drops his ability into you yes first corinthians 12 and ephesians 4 talks about the gifts in the church and they are not all the same neither do they do the same work but they're all from the same spirit from god they were given to the body of christ not given to you to build yourself up to be a celebrity it's god's gift for god's church he calls and provides a defense for his servants let's view a few of these examples of women who were called and who were available are you are you awake mother moles are you you okay who surrendered their lives to the lord and his purpose and succeeded [Applause] the expectation lydia acts the 16th chapter was one of the first converts to christianity she is described as a worshiper of god and a businesswoman with a family the lord opened her heart and she and her entire household were baptized then she opened up her house to paul and his companions offering hospitality to the missionaries that's a gift right there she urged them saying if you have judged me to be faithful to the lord come and stay at my home she exceeded expectation she went beyond becoming a believer but she began to show hospitality lydia was a part of a group that met for prayer by the river they didn't have a synagogue because you can only have a synagogue if you had 10 jewish men there and although she was a wealthy woman yet she humbled herself offering hospitality to others so that the work and the ministry would multiply and bring glory to god the woman who witnessed the resurrection of christ during the time of christ women were not allowed to be witnesses in the legal sense their testimony was not considered credible yet it is women who are recorded in the gospels as the first to see the risen christ and proclaim him to the rest of his disciples the accounts vary across the gospels and while mary magdalene is the first witness of the risen jesus in all four of the gospel luke records them matthew records them the other mary is in there joanna is in there the mary the mother of james is in there and other women how they exceeded expectation these women were recorded in history as credible witnesses the record has has stumped many over the years who assumed that only those disciples of jesus made up the resurrection account there are many strong women in the bible who depend on god more than themselves know some of them had to violate and break traditions to do the right thing their deeds as guided by god are recorded in the bible for all to read and to be inspired they were called and they made themselves available rahab the prostitute in jericho when the two spies for the israelites came to her house and she kept them safe and let them stay overnight she hit him on the roof rahab feared the god of the spies she is referenced in joshua 2 joshua 6 hebrew 11 james 2 and in matthew 1 alongside ruth and mary in the genealogy of christ but before the spies laid down that night she went up on the roof and she said to them i know that the lord has given you this lamb and that a great fear of you has fallen on us so that all who live in this country are melted in fear because of you and your god when we heard of it our hearts melted in fear and everyone's courage fell because of you for the lord your god is a god in heaven above and on earth below now then leroy and george please swear to me by the lord she was in the hood she knew what to say you ain't gonna get out of here unless you swear by the lord that you will show kindness to my family because i've shown you kindness you know give me a sure sign that you would spare the lives of my mama my daddy my sisters my brothers and everybody belong to them that you will be able to save them from death in other words she said our lives for your lives the man said okay i ain't no problem with that just don't tell them what you're doing don't tell them where we are you know and we and we'll treat you kindly and and and faithfully when the lord give us the land you you'll be safe she was called to do that and she made herself available the king of egypt commanded two hebrew midwives supervise a shipra and supervisor pua to kill all the hebrew boys when they were born that's in exodus the first chapter we read that the midwives feared god and did not you know do what the king asked them to do instead they told the king that the babies were born before we arrived this early act of civil disobedience saved many of the children these women are great examples of how we can resist an evil regimen yes we're talking about supervisor deja day and mother bucks had respect for god they didn't do what the king of egypt had told them to do they let the boys live then the king of egypt sent for the women he asked why have against a hard choice follow this new pharaoh or reap the consequences they would have been expected to cave in to pharaoh's command to secure their own safety but they held strong to what they believed and refused to kill the hebrew children they were truly called appointed and anointed to carry out the plan of god and you can't say you've been called and always complaining complain about what you're going through the situation or the people you know paul wrote in philippians 4 13 i can do all things through christ that strengthens me the question seems to be nowadays bishop whom shall i sin and who will go for us that's a hard question we're out here looking i don't know where they are if you have to be begged to do this you're not his servant you you know you got to stop being a spiritual ornament we don't need people to accessorize this church you can't uh you can't you know the pastor can't use unprofitable servants that affect the growth of the body of christ so in the text isaiah was willing and it was his readiness yes he became a volunteer that's i don't know where that word went to because everybody wants to be paid he was not pressed into the service he was ready to encounter the difficulties and the challenges just as the examples i told you previously doing the work and not complaining is being available to god i'm gonna say it one more time you need to write it down doing the work and not complaining is being available to god [Applause] isaiah was god's obedient trusting mouthpiece he was called to deliver a hard message of accountability something that everyone is not willing to do in these days god said whom shall i sin and who will go for us can you really say here am i send me god has put a calling on many of our lives that's why god calls us his servant and he has assigned us to a particular task or purpose you got to be careful you got to be prayerful you got to watch and pray because if you're not careful you go down the wrong way get off track make shipwrecks and how many people do we see in the ministry that have made shipwrecks in the ministry we've divided families dismantled the missionary circle toe up the white of his cc and we got those who choose not to do anything at all they don't want to serve they are not a part of the crew membership they belong to the pew membership first lady they're in neutral and jesus reveals the danger of being neutral just read revelation 3 16. that's lukewarm that's on the fence that's in loaded bar that's stupor that's asleep you love your comfort zone you know they always say don't bother me i'm okay where i am you need some passion which is power you need that to fuel your calling and your ministry just do the work and stop worrying what might happen down the road you know i'm saying god is with you if he called you david said in 23rd psalm he said yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil god's there his rod and his staff they comfort me you got goodness and mercy bishop i always say when i drive real fast and i get to where i'm going i'm thankful i tell goodness and mercy thank you because i'm sure the police is looking at looking for me you know because i've exceeded the speed limit but you know he sends goodness and mercy with me even down the highway paul told us in philippians 1 and 6 being confident of this very thing that he which have begun a good work in you who he's able to perform it until the day of jesus christ matthew 9 35 and 38 talks about where jesus was preaching and teaching the gospel of the kingdom healing every sickness and disease and when he saw the multitude they were fainted scattered with no leader he was moved with compassion the harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few well that's just not in the kingdom of god that's in the companies now after the pandemic you've got companies that close their doors lack of employees they begging for people to work for they you know they got pay raise and they got bonuses and anything to try to get the people to work for listen believers if you are called then god is looking for you he have need of you you you you you everybody the ministry is big enough for everybody to participate we need to pray for laborers that's the young that's why in ecclesiastes 12 and 1 it said remember thou thy creator in the days of thy you and so since you know they talked they said how old mother butts is you see she's yet going for so some of you mothers who are feel like you just in a reclining state and you can't hardly make it just remember in joshua 14 and 12 when caleb was 85 years old he said just give me this mountain you're not too old to get started and you're not too old to continue god is calling for willing workers he don't care if you came off the street do you have no church background no coaching pedigree that none of that god have need of you you just love the lord with all your heart mind soul and strength and be available and that's what's wrong with the young women that's why they can't get married they're looking for the smooth talking juwanna instead of the cross-eyed joe who love god with all his heart mind soul and strength who work in the on the assembly line no no you still singing that song it's not in his eyes it's in his kiss [Applause] and yeah juwan is kissing you but he's kissing everybody else too you know especially doing this pandemic bishop you know you in lockdown and he's out there at the mall and walmart and target all the places where you all like to go and don't want to come to church you know he's out there with lagertha and mariela you know she got her bonnet on and her pj bottoms and her fuzzy shoes crazy god's looking for true servants who are willing and available he don't need no bystanders people who are present but not involved [Applause] he's not looking for spectators onlookers gawkers who slow down when it's an accident and and cause a traffic jam you know just trying to see what's going on and not helping it out he's not looking for people who are aloof unresponsive withdrawn loiters lounging around idle ladies lingering around without a purpose just remember loitering can get you in trouble you know the sign says patrons only loiterers that's violators are subject to arrest young folks just out there creating havoc marching with no conviction you know there's injustice bishop for everything an injustice for everybody and none for the word of god i'm through with that ain't nobody marching for the word of god i'm through with that you know young people out there trying to do everything under the sun no limitations none at all come on mothers we gotta talk about on tick-tock acting crazy doing crazy stuff dressing crazy and you know your mama taught you better no but you chose to hang around that bad company and so that's why paul wrote in first corinthians 15 33 evil communication corrupts good manners and that's what we got in believers mature grown folks hanging out with worldly people you say god called you but you straddling the fence you ought to know that you just don't represent your pastor but you represent god also you out there acting unseemly talking smack scheming looking raunchy showing your beach photos you know on your vacation on facebook spacebook instagram you can't live any kind of way and represent a holy god and say you are called you can't be a trash can you can't be a gossiper you know what they say garbage in garbage out what you take in is what you put out you got to be holy in your calling you got to be righteous in your doing and some of us we're doing some ungodly stuff and all this stuff had rubbed off on us some christians have no boundaries they do they say they go anywhere they do stuff that they didn't do before they got saved i call them the adams family [Applause] the world is bringing them back on the big screen you know that you know what they used to say they're spooky and they're crazy they're kooky you know they shady you know it's the adam's family two snaps sanctified people saints i'm talking about talk sanctified act sanctified look sanctified and he told us to go into his vineyard and work and be saved be saints jude 101 said we are sanctified and cold [Applause] [Music] okay let me get back to my my my other stuff my text let me get back i didn't got off and i'm veered off went someplace else we're called to do business until he returns so that the kingdom of god is prepared and extended on earth till he comes back so jesus said in matthew 4 and 18 jesus told his disciples to come follow me i will make you fishers of men we are more faithful on our secular job than we are to the kingdom but luke 17 7 teaches us until we serve god our day is not completed all day long you did stuff for you and you did nothing for god your day is not completed the higher the authority the greater the accountability to god greater privileges bring greater temptations and greater responsibilities christ keeps no servant who chooses to be idle or inactive and he wants us to not only be available but he wants us to be faithful and committed to the call the leader don't need people who say they are called and they got bad habits and bad attitudes and nasty ways and unforgiving hearts and you know those who are mischievous irrational unreasonable selfish and have cantankerous ways the ministry don't need people who are unyielding you know that's this season in time and generation you know they don't like to give up anything or pull off nothing but jesus told his disciples when he chose him he said if you're not willing to give up stuff people and things that will distract or hinder you from following me you cannot be my disciples [Applause] he said i can't send you this is a generation there are most complicated people in the ministry i hate to say it but it's true entitlement is their focus they only come to church on sunday morning it used to be they gave you 90 minutes that was before the pandemic now it's only 60 minutes past you ought to be able to do all of this you know we've been at home and online and everything you know so we condense all this stuff so we shouldn't be here no 90 minutes anymore it's all it takes us 60 minutes but god is going to judge us for what we have done what we have not done and our diligence to it for we shall receive our just reward the bible said you're going to have to give an account for all of your deeds i don't want to be unprofitable servant who didn't produce fruit i'm getting ready to sit down but i want to hear him say well done thou good and faithful servant you can't be irritable in the ministry you can't be resentful in the ministry you cannot be thick-headed or when it comes to the kingdom work [Applause] your intentions must be good we must be effective in the ministry efficient in the ministry thorough and dutiful and pleasant a good nurt nature we have to strive to be wise servants not wacky or reckless but sensible unselfish and agreeable not resenting others who are diligent not fearful afraid not always depressed stressed out singing songs of [Music] fatigue you say oh yeah lord i'll go send me yeah but let him know that your yays are going to be a yays and your name's going to be nays you know you say lord yeah you can send me but you he has to know whether or not you're reliable and dependable and committed and loyal and that you're going to obey leadership you say yeah lord send me i'll go yeah you know but you he got to know whether or not he can trust you he got to know whether or not you're going to be productive and not just active or busy without a purpose you tell them send me i'll go i'll do whatever it is no but you got to be blameless keep your actions and motives pure and guiltless you cannot be shaky and flaky hot today cold tomorrow half-hearted having one foot in and one out you can't be a great pretender you can't be a fake or a phony you can't live lives you can't speak lies you can't be a hypocrite can't be a counterfeit fraud artificial religions without being spiritual [Applause] james said you are clouds without water [Applause] wandering stars spiritual gypsies and holy ghost vagabonds oh god help us not to be unruly or heartless or mean or vicious or tricky or cutthroat in the ministry we got to ask them to wash our minds so we won't have the corrupt thoughts be good for nothing in the ministry of having a bad reputation we read all kinds of books some of us in the book club maybe some of you all have joined this one bamboozled by jesus she's african-american we always want to support our little folks she wrote a book bamboozled by jesus bamboozle is to trick someone to scheme against or fool someone to manipulate or persuade someone to do what you want them to do in a sneaky cunning way that's what the devil does he tricks and he deceives people paul wrote in ephesians 6 and that put on the whole armor that you may be able to stand against the wiles the tricks of the devil ephesians 4 and 14 speaks of the cunning and craftiness of being deceitful for some of you all that want to read that book second corinthians 4 and 2 you can't handle the word of god deceitfully the word of god is what it is it's what it says and what it means and exactly that's it that's it and that's all that's a good message bishop that's it and that's all you don't need to be tricked to believe god's word you don't need to be tricked of bamboozled to know that god is a healer that he is a deliverer [Applause] and you don't have to worry about whether or not you're going to get paid sharita you can't be greedy after filthy luker when you go in the kingdom of god to work god said whatever's right i'ma pay don't be so position hungry and title thirsty you know i'm at the point now some of us need to put our titles down and pick up a towel [Applause] if god sends you women you can't be disgruntled you can't be disloyal always showing a sign of dissatisfaction restlessness and disconnected and dishonest in your dealing anti everything fight against everything the pastor put before the congregation but god ought to look at you with joy and not regret he should see you as a valuable servant a priceless jewel productive not fruitless not a hinder not aimless but one who knows the purpose and plan of god you ought to warn him say well done thou good and faithful servant i know you've been misunderstood you've been mistreated ridicule and target on your back you know trouble on every side but you you kept on working didn't you you kept serving you don't say you made yourself available and you were beneficial to the kingdom you're honorable in the service you're not a pain in the ministry you are a blessing you are an asset and not a liability the pastor is happy to have you on staff mother is thankful that you're working on her team in the jurisdiction i got to get out of here bishop i'm telling you we got to go to work but we got to go to work with the right attitude we got to have the right heart we have to have the right spirit we got to ask god god empty my cup and fill it up again you got to wave to him tonight and say here i am here i am lord here i am send me tell him i'll go i'll do what you want me to do i'll say what you want me to say here am i send me send me i got the right heart i got the right spirit i don't want to be a pain in the ministry i want to be an asset send me i'll go send me i'll go i got to get out of here i just want to tell you now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless before the presence of his glory exceeding joy he is the only wise god our savior be glory
