MY DAUGHTER FACES HER GREATEST FEAR *Emotional*

today my daughter Salish has 24 hours to  conquer one of her greatest fears stage   fright she will fly to Las Vegas to learn  magic from one of the top illusionists in   the world and by the end of the day she will  have to decide if she goes on stage to perform   in front of a massive audience you ready to  go uh we are at the house of Xavier Mortimer   who has been voted the best magic act in  Las Vegas for four years straight and now   he's getting Salish I'm going to show you  four magic tricks you're gonna choose one   and performing on stage with me oh boy the only  time I've been on stage was in a school place when   I was like six and this is like a real magic show  and I've never done magic before because of him   right close it close it and keep it closed just  in front of you two perfect  and put your hands around and catch it now Stage alone I'm gonna transport all these caps  over here and say do you see something one two four I understand this is my first time doing a magic  trick and he makes it look so easy it's not that   easy so you've got two cards you take the third  one here you put it in between it goes really in   the middle is one two and this one is really under  this one okay you agree with me that the card is   in between the two other ones right so there's  one two and three and this one is in the middle   I'm gonna shake and the  card is going in the bottom what is it up today I've made a decision  I'm gonna do the card trick and I'm going   to perform it with a couple of people  Max and then you see how I feel but   I'm really nervous this trick is all  about the presentation and the eye of   the audience you have to think about how  the audience is going to perceive you   that worked now I could see a little bit of the  the sliding but it worked okay okay hours until   the show starts and I have to practice let's get  started I have to get this trick down because I   cannot get embarrassed in front of 400 people  watch closely and see if you can figure out how   I do the trick okay I'm getting the trick but  I still don't know if I can go on stage I have   to make that decision soon you've seen the videos  and you can probably tell that I'm shy so being in   front of 400 people I don't know if I can do it if  I can do this you guys can get over any field of   years time's running out so now I have to practice  it with real people let's go come on in order to   get Salish ready to perform for 400 people  we're going to start with one person one two one two three oh I missed that sorry bye  I'm supposed to go like that like that   but I forgot so I have that card and I'm  gonna make it go to the back one two three pretty good right yeah pretty  good one two three wow three   seriously stick around and I'm gonna  reveal the magic behind the truck   wow that's pretty cool nice in the back that's so  cool and now let's try three people one two three she's done that trick but it lacks some Flair  so let's call Xavier and he can give her some   tips hey how you doing you getting ready for your  show yes I'm getting Salish needs a little help   she wants to show you the trick and get any being  here and show your personality to the   audience okay remember you have to do it  in front of 400 people today so you have to gentlemen I've got three cards look at  these they're one card is gonna go under   the two other ones are you guys ready and  you do it you are gonna be great on stage   okay okay there's a big group over there but  I don't know if I can be loud the one the only oh there's more people with anybody like to  see a card trick nope nope nobody wants to see   a card trick should I do what Xavier told  me yeah yeah okay ready okay it's a man wait what do I say it over okay ladies  and gentlemen I am here to perform a   magic trick three moves I'm gonna make the  Queen of Spades go to the back one two three   it's in the back wow yeah do you think she has a  career as a magician definitely yeah okay I think   a little bit just more confident yeah let's try it  together ready ladies and gentlemen I'm going to   show you the most incredible ouch actually oh he's  so cringe do your dad's embarrass you like this   too because my dad does since I'm embarrassing  her too much we're gonna bring in Hudson see how   you like that okay say let's go get you a huge let's go let's go see her do magic come here   come here come here I'm gonna teach you how  to do the trick in three easy steps so one   rip a card halfway Next Step take a bright card  and put it halfway on top and halfway on bottom   then put another card on top and last step  you do the flicks one two three and boom the   card moves from the middle to the bottom like  this magic yeah all right let's go say hello that's it so I have three three guys I'm  gonna make the three of diamonds go in   the back and three moves one two three isn't  it back wow give it up for stainless Meadows anyway thank you all so much  for coming out okay guys   show starts in an hour and I'm not sure if I'm  gonna go on but I should get ready just in case this would be a lot easier  if I was doing gymnastics   ladies and gentlemen I have three cards okay  I got something cute if I go on if I go on   I don't know if I'm gonna go on yet but I  need to change and I'll see you guys then   Tada all do for tonight how  does it look hold on if you run three times one   two three wait where is it where did the tape go  so how's the country going it's okay I did it well   for a couple of people but not 400. in order  to make it for 400 you have to make it big and   yes very important follow everything I say okay  I'm gonna say a big round of applause big round   of applause when I say big round of approach  when I say big round of applause it's ready in   that Wing over here I get ready very important  that you stay in that Wing over here okay we're   gonna run on stage and stay on that Mark over  here oh ladies and gentlemen good evening good   evening I'm the great Salish I'm the great  sailor it's perfect great might be his chest   okay I know what I have to do but I don't know  if I'm gonna do it I'm gonna go get you in the   wings okay and you can choose whether you want to  do it or not perfect you can say yes or no okay   break your leg bring a leg I'm never nervous  doing gymnastics because I do it every single   day but I've never done magic the closer we get to  show time the scarier it gets okay these are the   three things that make me nervous being on stage  going up to strangers and I don't know what else I don't know if I can do it do you have any  big brother advice you put so much time in   to get these magic tricks and you've never  even done magic before I know you're gonna   kill it if you decide to but if not it's totally  okay it's up to you you know whatever you decide   dad and I are going to be proud of you you  got this go get them uh I still don't know Curtains Down means a lot of people  are coming to the theater right now   the audience is right there  oh my God early you run are you oh yeah my name is Xavier Mortimer  that's my Q right age I I was scared too so   I can understand I scared to go on stage  yeah but next time you're gonna do it okay I couldn't do it but I'm super happy I learned  a really cool magic trick and I hope some of you   will face your own fears next time I get the  chance to go on stage I know I'm gonna do it
