Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
"April, cold. May, cold. June, cold. July, somehow hot as hell." Lol
That cut to the weather guy, omg I died
Donโt bring me in this mess!
I think we can all agree that the weather map was extremely accurate. 32 degrees in Souix Falls, 70 near St. Cloud, and 51 in Grand Marais...yep, sounds like April.
Thank god they didn't use the annoying Fargo accents.
"After all the (slight pause) protests last year." May be the most accurate thing I've seen about how white people talk about the protests in minnesota. You can just hear the internal monologue of "don't say riots, don't say riots , don't say riots"
Dammit, Calvin!
That was great but wish they made more Minnesota jokes
I tend to agree with the property damage thing with the caveat of please don't fuck the small businesses. They can be ended by that shit.
Yes, this is a hard topic, yes it should be talked about, and yes, SNL can absolutely do what they can to highlight the issues even if special snowflakes want to be obtuse about the issues and scree that "SNL should stick to jokes, not politics."
Obviously the root of the festering problem is still here. Obviously our marginalized and suppressed neighbors are still afraid and angry that a man can be murdered with so much video evidence and there's still 'question' that he died on his own and Chauvin just coincidentally was there. A black man was murdered in broad daylight by a white cop, and that's only half the outrage. The other half comes from folks who pretend to care about property being damaged in the riots instead of state-sanctioned murder. Focus- focus. A man was murdered and you clutch your pearls over people stealing funyuns from the Holiday. These are not equivalent crimes.
It's maddening to see fragile redditers decry the destruction of property while waving a hand at murder. You don't want that kind of rioting in your neighborhood? Black lives matter isn't about making white people slaves to be fair or whatever hyperbolic nonsense. Why is the white man given an assumption of innocence while the black man is assumed to be guilty to the point of death? Why can't the black man be assumed innocent until proven guilty? Why do black people live in a hellscape where existing as black is crime enough in America to be executed?
America's mythos includes being innocent until proven guilty. Why not make that a reality for all?
