Minecraft but I only Have 1 Heart...

in today's video i see how far i can progress into minecraft whilst only having one heart this means a four block fall will kill me a single hit from most mobs would kill me and my one brain cell has a pretty high chance of killing me as well it's gonna be a bit of a tricky challenge but we're gonna give it our best go make sure to subscribe if you're new and let's get into this all right we're loading in and i'm dead what let's try that again dead again okay what's going on let's see what happens if we just do it on survival and not hardcore all right now we can respawn because we're not on hardcore mode there we go but we're gonna pretend it's hardcore if i die i die and i'll prove it because number of deaths is one from that current death let's go on and i'm an idiot okay wait how did that not take any damage okay all right now we start oh okay i'm just testing so i have a plan and that plan involves finding a village i don't want to go over there as there's a guardian temple as villages are very powerful at these lower levels mainly for food but also i want to do some trading off the bats but just in case i don't find one let's see if we can get enough will to make a bed all right well let's be careful running around because as we tested you can die pretty easily and i'm gonna be picking up anything i can trade along the way such as these pumpkins here also i can make some pumpkin pie if i get desperate there's a shipwreck over there and there's a ruined portal there that could be useful that bee could kill me with one sting well that is completely rubbish maybe get one ironing got i can't mind that gold where was that shipwreck am i blind did i see a shipwreck oh well i'm sure i'll find another one or not as uh the sun's about to set and i've still not seen one yet i've been on the boat the entire time oh wait as i say that there's one there's a portal over there as well right i can't lose it this time because it's sticking out of the water but let's uh let's cook some food and make a bed as uh that's probably the most important thing i'm not sure if the magma block would kill me but i don't want to find out oh a helmet first day completed now i'm still on hard mode so i will die if i run out of food which is kind of why i was hoping to find a village to get some bread of course also playing this has made me realize i jump around way too much like there's so many times i've done stuff like that and almost hurt myself sorry baby cow but i've killed your entire family and you as well you can't feel sad if you are dead anyway let's have a look inside here there's not a door and i don't want to drown so i'm going to quickly make myself a door although there's only a buried treasure map in here why does that look so weird what's that coastline why is that coastline look so strange it's just converting into nothing that's so what why did it look like that is that the ice there it's just what i don't understand and our treasure oh yes the diamonds that's what you like to see this is an insanely good chest what the heck let's go find a village shall we i've been on this ocean for around a thousand blocks now i reckon this is the first time i've seen anything these little bits of land here although there is some over there now nice but there's also a shipwreck i need more iron being careful with my doors oh a diamond hello hopefully this bit of land oh no is that the size of it is it really that small i just need to find some land i'm nearly on day three and i'm struggling to find just land what the heck this ocean's massive finally land i saw this first and i was like oh good it's really tall just what i want when i can't fall more than three blocks but this actually looks kind of promising although also quite tall and hilly i see village but it looks terrible oh no why can't i only see one house is this it where's the rest of the village oh this is awful is this here this is the worst village i've ever seen unless it goes on oh my gosh there's some hay bales at least that's good for food and there's some horses which is good for fun need to be careful here as it kind of just goes off the cliff right so this is just an all-round appalling village although this will be coming useful so let's keep going until we find one with a few more villagers maybe a blacksmith would be nice just something that isn't this because this must be the worst village for someone with one heart there's so many places where you can fall i want it to be flat this is a very pretty area like really pretty but there's no villages and these chickens are looking down on me mocking me if i had more patience i would go kill them but i want this village finally oh my gosh this took so long to find one but this one looks mega look at it look how big it is what are you doing getting out of here so i'm gonna turn this basically into my base i can do some trading with these guys and start on my plan so let's make a little sort of base camp up here where we can put all the stuff we're not really using right now and i'm also gonna upgrade my armor and we're going to start off by clearing out every hay bale in this village as is quite a lot just around and also collect a couple of these hoppers as we're going to be trading wheat with these guys and luckily they're all gathering at the moment for like you know the meeting time or whatever so let's see if we can trap some of them in a hole oh interesting there's a pillager tower over there gotta be careful not to walk over there and i'm actually gonna make myself a diamond axe as i'm going to be chopping a lot of trees as after i've ran out of this wheat which will be very quickly selling sticks to fletchers is a quick way of getting emeralds all right let's see if we can start trading some of this wheat we need to find a villager that trades wheat first there we go we can lock him in and start getting some emeralds that's pretty much all the wheat gone oh dear sticks is definitely going to be the way oh gold block oh gosh wait didn't actually do much damage oh okay that's half a heart right stop stop stop stop joel stop stop why are you being stupid i have no idea if this gold is going to come in useful at any point but it might we're approaching our sixth day which is almost an hour's worth one heart minecraft i am proud of myself for getting this far but we're gonna make ourselves a lectern as i want to get one enchantment in particular and i'm gonna get villagers just chilling by himself to do this just because it makes changing the enchantment a bit easier why are you here what are you doing here why would you get out you get out get out get out of my hole this guy am i right why get out my hole okay there we go good just me and you fella all right give me those feather falling far enchantments straight away infinity this may take a while you know what i'm actually going to go make myself a book so that when i do get it i can actually buy it that's probably smart all right so let's get this enchantment i don't know why he's getting so close to me right now kind of creepy 50 50 emeralds um okay let's just hope he keeps that as i'm gonna go trade some sticks and some wheat i've come into these guys village destroyed all their houses i've traded them back to them in worse form there are no his trades for now oh thank goodness for these pumpkins there we go give me that feather falling fall book lovely and now you're saying joel you still have iron armor on and you have no anvil what was the point in that well i know i don't have any iron but the thing about iron in 118 is that you can find biomes where iron spawns mainly on the surface so it's not a huge deal and i have a plan for the armor as well yes it's more villager trading it's very boring so let's start by chopping down some trees and i'm basically just gonna remove this forest over here it doesn't have to be any type of wood it just needs to be destroyed so watch this time lapse of me just destroying trees this was a lot of wood cutting in a row it took me a very long time the sun is setting and we are now on day nine and on day nine sadness as yep there goes our axe but obviously we got a load of wood from that and i left it in a chest over here and decent amount of saplings as well and all we need now is to get a load of fletching tables which i need some gravel for this is all going quite smoothly so far but i haven't actually got to the bit which i am obviously terrified about and that is heading to the nether uh in general to be honest but let's get ourselves a load of flint from this gravel here to make them fletching tables all right nine fletching tables let's go get ourselves a load of emeralds this has been a long process and i can't wait to finally just go into the nether and die instantly but i'll go in with feather falling boots and hopefully some diamond armor we are progressing along we got ourselves nearly two stacks of emeralds all i need to do now is find the armorer he hangs around by my blast furnace most of time but it's just turned to daytime so he could be anywhere let's start leveling these guys up it's gonna take a while i'm already eating through so many emeralds but i've still got a load of logs left so as soon as these guys want to i'll start trading again there's the noise we love to hear give me give me all your emeralds i think we should get our first diamond armor here yes oh protection two boots not bad fire protection one legs and if i keep leveling this guy up he should give us the rest aqua affinity and projectile protection what have i bought three oh those goes all my emeralds but look at that full diamond up we've only found three diamonds in some chests but now i need some tools of course but most importantly we need iron to add feather falling to these so let's head and see if we can get ourselves some iron i'm gonna note down the coordinates and then we'll head to the never scared i need iron badly uh this could end everything right here i'm gonna wait till i sleep actually but i'm gonna kill the golem with one heart if he hits me i'm dead but hey we've made it nearly two hours what can go wrong eh oh gosh i panicked i've panicked i've panicked all right i think here should be fine oh gosh oh gosh why am i why am i panicking so much he i'm safe up here he can't get me he can't get me all right give me five iron fella oh he did he did worth the risk i should really made a water bucket like for backup in case i fall but i need this anvil i ain't got time to messing around with buckets of water that'll make things easy and i'm not having much luck with these biomes so i might just head out and see if there's any shipwrecks nearby whoa hello you got any goodies for me no useless not going to attack them because i'm scared the llama might kill me still not found any actual iron so come here fella do you know it'll be nice another five iron oh free terrible there's some iron here but it's slightly dark and that is scary to me but i'm just gonna keep my eye out but i believe it's 31 iron for an anvil so we're about seven off something just shot at me oh it's there skeleton oh no is that powder snow no oh my gosh this is dangerous this is dangerous this is dangerous skeleton skeleton skeleton skeleton get out of there get out of there joel where's the bed can i sleep this out oh my gosh thank goodness i need a shield why haven't i got a shield okay let's get 32 iron funnily enough i think we have exactly that let's head home avoiding this snowy biome here then all i need to do is trade up for and and then allow you to do really is trade up for like some bow and arrows and get maybe a diamond axe or something and we're good to go all right let's smell away that iron and while we do let's plop down this smithing table somewhere and see if we can get any tools i think this is the one for tools isn't it you tell me fella it is okay it's a lot of stone axes right uh it i i i can't really afford to level that up right now i need all the iron i guess we're going in with iron tools i may as well just try and get a good bow this chappie is leveled up to max now it should be i think come on unbreaking let's level up another chap i'm breaking one again you kidding me hey there we go power two i'll take that one and now we have a anvil where we can combine these boots with feather falling and i feel a little bit safer and i can also combine these bows and now oh gosh i'm scared but let's go to the nether and see if we can kill some blazes i'm going to make a shield quickly and also if ever falling fall we should be able to fall down here now and not take that much damage lovely there's the portal i'm gonna sleep so when i come back to the surface it should be terrible and uh let's do this guys wait wait wait put this gold helmet on normally i do boots but i need that falling oh no right uh fortress okay there's lots of lava saves my portal cords and let's head off in this direction haha friendly pigman piglet thing all right that way it's not looking too hopeful let's try the other direction oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh get away get away get away there's a big portal here but this fella's guarding it so we're staying away instead let's head over here maybe there's a fortress we can spot oh i can't really hit them back because if i hit them back wrong oh i've got a boat what am i talking about there we go oh this is so hard to do but we killed it there's a bastion good oh no not going anywhere near that oh well uh i hid it once i was like i'll just dodge around this well how long did we survive two hours and 39 minutes um not great traded with villagers 500 times exactly that's kind of cool but the one heart challenge guys it's tricky i thought i was gonna be able to get to the end one one gas ball finished me off feels bad man that was with blast
