Trying Viral TikTok Minecraft Hacks, Tips & Tricks!

as a 27 year old minecraft youtuber people often seem to think i'm a boomer or too old but you couldn't be more wrong i'm actually quite cool yeah i have a facebook account yeah i know what snapchat is and yeah i've listened to whap the other day i was browsing the web and came across this little app called tick tock for those of you who aren't as down with the latest trends like me tik tok is an app where people do things like dancing funny stories and re-upload youtube content but apparently there's a whole minecraft section too with tips tricks and oh yeah that thing where they show you placed in the last few blocks of some crazy pixel art making you believe they built it by hand taking hours to do when reality they've made it in a program and actually only spent five minutes making it not that those videos annoy me or anything no no it's just fine so we're going to be browsing some minecraft tick tock today and trying to find you know some tricks tips tutorials etc and see if we find anything good anything funny you know the drill now the first thing i looked for was trying to find a way to ask people to subscribe there was no tutorial on that so i'm just going to say it please subscribe okay let's start the video now this first tick tock here is a tutorial and it says how to impress your minecraft girlfriend tutorial now i don't have a minecraft girlfriend but i do have a wife so i'm gonna follow this and then i'm gonna see if she's impressed all right let's watch it first it looks like we got a lot of tnt here oh my gosh it's going very quickly isn't it all right i'm not sure what's going to happen just yet press the lever the tnt is off oh he's pressing else as well okay that's pretty cool all right let's see if we can recreate it and try it out looks like they're doing it on pocket edition so let's hope this works in normal edition as well right i'm not gonna lie this is very tricky to follow this tutorial it seems like at some points they're just randomly placing redstone it looks like you're gonna have to get the timing right so i'm gonna try it but i'm gonna get lizzy at here first lizzy you are here now yeah does this impress you okay let me see if this works oh it's not worked does that impress you what is it it's gonna do this ah see that would have impressed you but i didn't [Laughter] so i failed i did not impress my wife i think that just doesn't work on minecraft java edition like how can a redstone signal be that long i'm going to try and make my own all right let's see if this works i probably i'm guessing it's not going to but we'll try it anyway i still worked again oh i think i know why i'm trying it again all right third time's the charm oh my gosh it's failed again how did he do it just doesn't work it just doesn't work oh we got closer i'm determined now i want this to look so bad right this time here we go nope it's not worked again i don't know what that guy was using in that video but it definitely doesn't work on java edition so i'm gonna call that one a failure i found another one though where it tells you how to get never portal blocks all right so he's putting a rose on a dirt block and some snow on it button to get rid of the snow leaving the rose and then what's happened there breaks the obsidian what is this real guess there's only one way to find out right you can't play snow on this block here so i don't know what he did maybe he's gotta be grass and these like only things you can do on pocket edition i'm confused like it doesn't work for me let me load up a different version of minecraft i have no idea what i'm doing here but let's make a new world oh i could try the heart thing as well after this all right so now can i do this oh i can then i'd do that i've realized i need this other stuff that's going on in this video as well right there's like a as a dispenser with what looks like a fire charge okay i've got the thing floating right it's not a fire charge in here it's a flint and steel got a pickaxe you put myself in survival mode oh my rose is gone all right let's try it it didn't work all right let's try it all in survival mode remove that no idea if that's right yeah it didn't work again i must be following it wrong or it doesn't work i don't know all right so you do this then this then the button then this then snow again and then you run out of your pickaxe right it's just made another puddle all right i've made the exact same pickaxe basically as them let's try again no it didn't work again didn't work again i think i'm actually doing everything right in this one so i don't know why it's not working let's try the heart thing that let's see if we can get that to work all right but does the heart work here wait wait for it wait for it oh i didn't get high enough but it worked so it doesn't work in java but it works in the other version okay that was pretty cool next up we have a tutorial on how to make a piano please work in java let's try it so it looks like we're using ender dragon heads and some black stone i'm guessing they're going to use pistons to push it down here they come yeah pistons push it down does this work in java we'll find out we'll find out it looks pretty cool though all right but what what's the dead coral for well let's just try it anyway drama stands with uh that's not the right height oh my keys are all uneven all right let's see if we can get all these even how do you what i'm super what is going what is wrong with me what my piano is gonna be wonky how is this so hard all right stand right in the middle of the block all right that's as straight as i'm gonna get it and it's absolutely so wonky let's see if the pistons work right that's not work there is it do they actually need to go lower are they gonna be on like half a s slab or something let me try again all right let's see if this works oh yes look at that wonky piano now to add the other blocks on now this is the part i don't get why that but either way apart from the fact it's really hard to not make it wonky pretty good pretty good i'm quite impressed with this tutorial it's just a shame like my piano has been like an earthquake or something i don't know no matter how hard i try like that's pretty good that one there i don't know how i did it now i'm not very optimistic by this next one but we'll give it a try anyway but basically he's by the world border he's got these stairs here and he uses a piston to make it into an actual block i don't believe this let's try it so here you have your world border can't get through it if i do this and this i'm gonna be very shocked if this actually works and what yo what okay i'm actually kind of freaked out right i was not expecting that what wait can you push every anything into this what that's so weird whoa oh my oh and it's really glitched that stair block out now oh now this place all right this one's actually blowing my mind that's a genuine minecraft sort of cheap what the heck trying to think what's the weirdest thing i could push into something can i get this to work no seems like it only works with random blocks but now i've glitched it out look at that that's hot that's really odd do you like bamboo growing out of it the more you know i feel like every tip is for non-java edition but this one may work on java so it's basically how you make some huge explosions in minecraft using creepers they talk about a summon command and it's basically this weird command let's hope it works on java i'll give it a go this actually looks like jabba so it should alright ah i'm on peaceful let's try again so it works and apparently you can up the explosion according to this video if you do this and they did a hundred i'm gonna do ten thousand let's see what happens oh that's not actually that much is that as big as it goes let's keep open it uh i believe i've now just broken my game what's the highest you could go oh pretty big that's pretty interesting that'd be quite useful in like creative mode if you just want to clear a load of space quickly let's do this make such a weird explosion pattern though look at that well that one works nice all right next we have another one i'm very skeptical of but we're gonna try it so it says you can make infinite never right i'm gonna try and build this machine there's a part one and part two i'm just gonna try it they don't actually show it working they just say flick this lever so i guess we just gotta try it right we need six yellow terracotta we have six observers and then for some reason we gotta remove the other terracotta i don't know why i couldn't just done this i have to put some observers going this way and some redstone repeaters how is this gonna work then i've gotta flick all these once break these blocks lit with obsidian right now some sticky pistons and this is where the slime and honey comes in then i put some more yellow terracotta here ancient debris on the top put a sticky piston and this here then a lever and now apparently i get unlimited ancient debris nothing is happening literally nothing is happening i followed that tutorial perfectly i'm confused by how this is meant to ever work i'm looking and i've got everything right this is just going to create an infinite loop here these are going to do nothing because they're all observing these what that is just that's pure clickbait that i want in my unlimited ancient debris but nothing's happening all right i've changed the redstone around a bit because now these are facing the way let's see if this works ancient debris on it goes and we click the lever and it makes a pattern how is this ever going to give you ancient debris it just does a weird funny pattern who would ever believe that you could just multiply hm by just making it move back and forth quickly what a load of rubbish so stupid okay it's quite a funny little pattern though now this next tip is about finding diamonds i'm gonna see if it works so they found some lava and they're putting down some slime then apparently see you free with a slime interesting let's try this out so i found a lava pool underground here let's replace all the edges with slime and head under and it just shows lava right so there's even some diamonds on the other side of that and you can barely see them or is it just at the edges no because i can still just see lava well that x-ray trick didn't work how about this one will this one work so basically what they do is they mine into a wall dig up one or two and then place sand like so so they're dying and then they sort of go out of the sand a little bit and then they can see through walls let's try this one all right so mine into the wall like so place two bits of oh i've been knocked out of it instantly place two bits of sand i keep getting pushed out right okay well maybe let's make it so i can't get pushed out and now i can't get out so this this was not a good idea um maybe if i had like a slab or something no that's probably still gonna i don't know we'll try it nope it's just pushed me out again or if i hold shift nope still pushes me out man this is like minecraft mythbusters isn't it none of these are working and you know what i think that's enough minecraft tick-tock for the day i've seen way too many videos where it's obviously mods but they're
