Minecraft, But Crafting Recipes Are Randomized!

in today's minecraft world we're playing the recipe lottery really that's right let me give you an example regularly two oak planks would become a stick but in this world we don't know what's gonna happen oh wow what they turned into four sea lanterns awesome these blocks glow so they're pretty lucky normally those oak planks would have turned into wooden sticks right right but in this world we have no idea what our typical recipes will create no idea each recipe is based on luck all right mikey today i'm giving us a 20 minute time limit within those 20 minutes we'll gather enough equipment to defeat the ender dragon if we can defeat it then we win but if we can't we lose let's get moving it's time to take that ender dragon down all right ready start 20 minutes starts now so we'll dig up some sand i'll chop some trees oh thanks did you know that sandstone is made from four blocks of stone yep i knew that let's try crafting it now one two three four oh what they turned into a bed no way oh here take this hold on a sec do you think you could gather sand for a bit mikey here's why did you know you can actually defeat the ender dragon with beds in the end where the ender dragon lives if you try sleeping on a bed it'll explode we'll need seven beds worth of explosions to defeat the ender dragon let's do it we just got closer to our goal how many beds do you have five i have five too with these five beds we can defeat the ender dragon yeah we can no don't all right let's look at all the wood you harvested a block of wood usually becomes wood planks but today [Music] whoa prismarine slabs what about the oak oh check it out it turned into a dark oak boat now he can glide smoothly over the ocean flowers flowers oh there they are these are useful right that's right at least normally they can be used to create a whole bunch of different dyes plus crafting them is really straightforward [Music] i guess that's okay i guess the flowers turned into a wooden pressure plate that's not bad yeah let's take a look at these dandelions what'll they become now what dandelions turned into cook mutton no way we won't be hungry anytime soon i'm turning it all into cooked mutton let's turn all the dandelions into meat now oh great idea look a red poppy are those our first poppies yep cool let's see poppies still turn into red dots really pretty straightforward oh more dandelions great let's pick up more meat finding dandelions is just like finding a cooked piece of meat i wish it were that easy in real life no kidding you'd find cooked meat everywhere crazy let's go moving on all right we're pretty much through the whole huh mikey what is it look there a ship and if there's a ship there's treasure somewhere inside of it come on mikey hey i'm in the back you're in my boat all right let's go search that ship lucky it doesn't look like the ship is sunk yet if there's treasure here i'll find it oh a treasure chest should we just collect the wood planks oh good idea getting wood planks would be really hard in this world so let's take some of those with us these are all ours why don't we open that chest first do it okay i'm on it oh are those diamonds iron nuggets and ingots too let's see what the ingots give us iron ingots usually break down into iron nuggets go one iron ingot makes nine beds wow i guess we didn't need all that sand oh a chest oh open it open there are some carrots some wheat and some suspicious stew i don't know if we'll be able to craft anything from these items well there should be another chest here somewhere two more actually oh i found one here right there get it oh yeah open oh books paper a treasure map hmm this is going to be harder than i thought a treasure map we're on a time limit mikey we only have 13 minutes left should we try following it see if it's close that's no good this map looks far away i don't think we have enough time so we probably shouldn't try it let's try another island yeah let's go we'll try something else oh right let's try using the spruce wood before night falls one block of planks usually makes a button but let's see what these turn into there a wooden hoe a hoe that's all it's not the best let's go to that island there sounds good careful skeletons i don't like those guys we'll go in from below i keep getting shot what did i ever do to them i mean seriously we actually haven't seen any birch trees before this whoa mikey are you good oh let's see what the birch wood turns into what whoa whoa whoa whoa the birch wood turned into golden swords no way awesome i want one here mikey have a few wow you can have three i have enough yes these rock wow this must be what alchemy is like hmm we could really use a crafting table white flowers those are the first ones we've seen let's pick them yeah let's go by the way 10 minutes left careful there are two creepers coming run away let's retreat for now [Music] huh oh mikey quick run away okay i got it there thanks okay let's go i got two new items mikey first one is the white flower what will it be it's nothing nothing hang on it doesn't do anything it's all bugged out one more thing a bone normally bones get turned into bone meal a cooked pork chop wow hey mikey let's head over to that village okay sure let's go villages are full of different items follow me mikey booyah let's go oh this area is full of cooked meat let's grab it all we're in a world of free food this rocks whoa close one all clear this is going surprisingly well yep let's just go to sleep in a random house okay nice i'm in bed check out the hay bales okay and all the blue flowers oh wow i got some ready these blue flowers turned into cooked fish that's a lot of food items great i sure love eating now for the hay bales these normally make wheat this is super rare what is it rails ah that's you well i guess that's true right now where's the crafting table if i remember correctly libraries usually have crafting tables is this a library oh a chest cool diamonds apples and iron leggings that's not good five minutes left cutting it close keep looking for items there's a furnace oh a furnace let's cook something up what do we find by throwing it into the furnace sorry pig this is for the ender dragon potatoes let's cook one oh in that case i'll just use the bottom furnace let's see what this potato turns into it's like some kind of stained blue glass the pork [Music] is this just hardened clay that's no good jj we need more this is rough we need to find something useful we have less than five minutes uh what should we do is cooking meat our only option probably i'll look through houses okay i'll collect beef and mutton too if even one of these ends up useful it'll turn our luck around yeah all right let's see what happens when i cook this beef and mutton the only thing i can burn is the pressure plate [Music] it worked nice raw beef okay oh incredible this is amazing blue terracotta it's rare but not very useful oh some glass panes cooking gave us glass and terracotta hang on i thought of something else i can make with the items in my inventory what's that i can make sheers with my iron ingots yeah okay try it polished some kind of half slab oh well we're past the three-minute mark i guess we have no choice mikey we're gonna have to attack with our explosive beds let's do that all right we don't have many blocks i don't know if we can actually get close enough to break the ender crystals in that case i can make a couple blocks the least we can do is dig up the dirt with our hands okay let's dig i'm still gonna look around for more options i'll stick to the dirt okay thanks i'll use all the remaining time to dig well i'll try to find some other materials for us to craft a race against time the toughest race there is one minute there's got to be something else out here we were pretty lucky to find all this food that's true just one more i see sugarcane is that useful yeah sugarcane normally turns into sugar which is pretty useful here i go yes come on what was it glass panes time's up time's up oh well it's time to dig three two one go [Music] why are we so far away here can we even make it over there take this that's a lot of dirt nice job i'm gonna make this reach the other side let's go be careful mikey take this here what's this an iron ingot it makes nine beds oh that's
