Gold vs Diamond! Which is Stronger in Minecraft?

time to kick things off we're standing inside of a giant deposit filled with gold and diamond ore wow this place is amazing yeah there are diamonds everywhere that's right mikey today we're gonna use them all to beat minecraft ready yeah which side of the cave do you want mikey huh diamond or gold yeah i made up my mind i choose diamond that's final okay if mikey gets diamonds then i get gold one more thing what in 20 minutes we're headed straight for the ender dragon oh okay got it 20 minutes i better hurry 20 minutes starts now let's mine start sweet ready yay i got a pickaxe you're already mining so many diamonds mikey looks fun yeah i good luck with the gold jj it's not exactly the strongest but i'm sure you'll find a way to make up for it huh what well mikey i just realized something go on you can't mine gold with a gold pickaxe really yep i'll help you thanks mikey make sure to mine a lot of gold okay i didn't realize gold would be this difficult yep diamond's better i can't even mine it with this that's rough i'll beat the game for you with my diamonds sound good i'll go collect some other stuff for now huh what are you getting just some wood we'll need it for what a crafting table oh right whoa besides i have all this gold sitting around i need to get crafting true wow first i'll make this a chest plate next leggings [Music] finally a helmet and some boots whoa that's not all i made a sword too no way ready boom boom boom boom a full set of gold armor unfortunately gold doesn't protect against that much my armor gauge is half full so that's not bad how about you mikey i'm putting mine on right now there whoa nice how do i look diamond armor the ultimate defense yeah it rocks it's super shiny i'm still bummed my pickaxe can't mine any gold don't worry i'll take care of everything why can't gold mine itself oh well we keep talking about how weak gold is but it makes one of the best items in the game huh the best item in the game what is it since we need to slay the ender dragon together i'll tell you first you need to follow me i'm coming i'll bring diamonds we're running out of time we only have 16 minutes left to prepare come on okay help me smash the leaves huh i hope it drops what hmm jj what are you talking about all you're doing is cutting down a tree it's not dropping we need more trees i need a specific item what is it i'm on top of the trees time to smash okay oh i got one you got one what check it out mikey an apple what about it take a look all right i'm gonna transform it into the ultimate item with my gold see what i did what i made a golden apple here oh wow you're right it's the ultimate item yeah you should have it that's a present for you mikey i guess i'll hang on to it we can win if we work together gold isn't the strongest armor but it makes golden apples and golden carrots what now should we find a village sure stick together yeah i need more apples so chop trees as we go okay i can do that clear out the trunks mikey i'm on it that way the leaves will fall right then the apples might drop it won't be easy but i think we can win with our golden diamonds right that's right let's collect some apples [Music] this way [Music] we should search the village for anything useful let's check it out i really hope we find some goodies me too whoa any farms oh i found one but no carrots huh carrots yeah carrots here's another farm oh where right here oh it's all wheat i guess there are no carrots let's go to sleep time for bed all right here's a bed i'll keep looking there's another one in here really oh i found one good night night nice it's morning time what should we do today we need more apples that might be the best way to use up the rest of this gold oh an apple it fell off a tree yesterday sweet nice let's go grab some more sounds good i'll keep making golden axes so i can keep collecting golden apples hey i found another apple hang on to it for now all right whoa so many so far so good any apples around here oh i found one awesome the ender dragon won't stand a chance yeah eight minutes left where are you i'm near the first tree we cut down there you are let's harvest apples together mikey all right it's apple time i didn't think this would turn into a tree chopping competition [Music] we need something else huh like what beds lots of them oh i forgot about beds i see apples where here you go whoa that makes five apples nice five already wow that was quick the more the merrier break more leaves come over here sure let's clear out this area and head somewhere new five minutes left hurry oh we still need beds that's right come on as soon as we're done with the beds let's head back to apples as of now i can make five more golden apples i'm getting diamond blocks and beds you focus on the beds and i'll make gold blocks okay leave it to me thanks these beds are all mine sorry villagers ah nice i'm making a few gold blocks whoa i didn't expect to make so many shiny now that's a lot of gold there i got a bed this is easily enough gold blocks i'll carry as many as i can nice terrific uh-oh three minutes left are you kidding me no hang on why aren't there any apples here the only option i have left is to chop down these oak trees i'll take out the trunks closest to the leaves i can help you [Music] try to be as efficient as possible i'm holding a lot of beds thanks beds are a great weapon against the ender dragon if you try and sleep in one the bed explodes whoa i want two more golden apples then i think we can win sure golden apples are the best recovery item out there right oh no we're almost out of time hurry apples keep going are they all gone come on are there any on the ground oh there's one more good work one more i want more it's not over please hurry oh night at least i got the beds i got some food too where'd you go i'm in the village oh come on get to the village before it's too late we're almost out of time really already there's about 20 seconds left all right time to make some golden apples let's do this yes 10 seconds 10 9 eight seven six five four three two one time's up we've arrived at the end mikey follow me the ender dragon might target us here huh mikey get over here hurry mikey whoa we're lucky you can pick up your items all right mikey i better share some of these golden apples with you how many do you have one i have seven that means we each get four okay here you go oh thanks now then have some beds thanks let's see i'll take four of the beds now i'm ready let's get moving we're going to the top in style i'd never do this normally but i'm using the gold blocks as a platform look oh you're using your diamond blocks we're so fancy there's the ender dragon get it first things first what destroy the end crystals boom nice one down good job whoa there's poison on the ground look out okay oh i need to destroy the next crystal [Music] how am i supposed to reach it it's surrounded by a bunch of iron bars at the top i'm not afraid back off no help no jj no really i respawn i better grab my stuff i realize we didn't make any buckets oh yeah it's tough not having any water oh well we're not giving up that ender dragon is going down time to finish off the end crystals oh no i think i got it i did oh you broke one nice i took care of it nice here i go got it sweet bombs away go i've been hit that poison is strong stop it i dropped my bread do you have any bread yeah a bunch can i have some i'm dropping it wait i think i'm too far away oh no oh mikey are you okay hurry back i broke a few n crystals nice let's go yeah i'll mikey your stuff okay go yes nice is that all of them huh i think that's it great good work jj now then i'm gonna head back down let's use our golden apples mikey right good idea when you eat one yeah wait what look out what's that yikes when it gets close eat a golden apple and hit it with your sword okay now it's here mikey eat up attack hurry we got this get it i can't hit it oh no one more oh that didn't work it got us both go got it nice hit [Music] shoot at it it's working nice [Music] whoa i keep hitting see i got it again this bow is amazing oh it's descending get your sword out i should eat a golden apple it's after me you'll be fine no way it's too strong i'm gonna use the bed good idea bring it on if you try to use a bed in the end it self-destructs blow it away mikey i've got this i feel like these golden apples aren't helping at all the ender dragon's too tough you can say that again even my diamond armor isn't holding up hey come back here i'm gonna blow it up again jj go yes whoa are you down i exploded did it work yeah it took a lot of damage mikey i'll make some platforms to attack from up close that way we can take it down with our swords i'll give you a hand wow this is one expensive platform i'm not going down without a fight come and get me wait for it use the bed go it hit me i use the bed quickly okay on it i'm activating the bed ugh i hit it it's still alive this is hard there i hit it it's here nice hit again here it comes there's only a bit of health left we got this yeah finish it off any more beds yep i still have some hey it's running away don't stop shooting arrows at it it's back here i go yes nice one more oh i'm out of this all we need is one more hit so close come on thanks to your bed attacks we just need to hit it once with our swords we're gonna win this thing awesome all right jj we've come this far we can't lose now yeah let's do it come on any second it's gonna land then i'll take it down one hit from our golden diamond swords are you out of blocks yep i only have a few gold blocks left bring it on dragon oh look it's gonna land i'm gonna get you wait until it's down it's almost here it's so close it's not getting away this time wait what nice mikey we beat it hooray yes wow that's incredible awesome we did it look at all those experience points amazing we beat the game with diamonds and gold that was great i don't know if the golden apples or diamond equipment helped us more but i'm still glad that we won same we were able to slay the ender dragon using a big supply of diamonds and
