welcome to sunny Long Beach California it is summertime and this is the 2018 summer due to are fueled by mountain dew we're gearing up for what will be a celebration of the world's best skateboarders today right now it's all about the men's pro park final we have eight of the world's best four runs per athlete they're gonna throw down on this thing my name is Todd Richards I'm joined here in the booth by mr. Neil Hendrickson down on the deck we have crisp pastures now Neil we had a crazy qualifier event here the other day we have some serious talent take us through how this format is gonna rock out we have eight skaters in the final like you said the prelims was really really hard to to cut it down to eight they're gonna have four runs only the best run counts that these guys are gonna be trying really difficult run scores are zero to a hundred and the runs are 45 seconds and lengths all right well four runs I mean that's great that gives a lot of chance for these guys to take the big risk to get the big reward now here's the start list Neil who do you like out of this right here honestly I feel like any of these guys could legitimately win this contest Tristan Rennie our first place qualifier has been on a roll this year Keegan Palmer is one of the young kids only 15 years old he's coming up I would say hey mana Reynolds would be a threat he took a monster slam yesterday in practice also watch for Alex or gentei all right well look at this bowl right here this thing is insane the average age here in this competition 19 years old the oldest 21 and then we have Keegan Palmer coming in at 15 years we're on to grizzled veterans at the old age of 21 well let's head down to Chris pastors Doon is on the deck what you gotta say doing what's up fellas yeah I've been watching a practice heat up here it's super intense definitely our top qualifier Tristen renny's standing out Alex or gentei is fire clay cry nur's on fire cord you know has an insane line with a frontside flip on the extension if he sticks it I think you can win again again here due to our 2018 so it's heating up it's gonna be intense I'm psyched for it well it is going to be an incredible day thank you Chris we'll be checking back in with you oh and look at this we have the gold medalist from the women's super pipe in sodium sodium is a Sochi where was I just spent a month in South Korea yunxiang that's where I was and we are here now though enjoying the Dew Tour men's part final I've saw actually the gold medals from slopestyle Ridge you are bouncing around here so it's the multi-sport event as we're about to get this thing started you know a lot of the riders are like this format it is four runs as we get things started right here and now yeah clay Kriner is gonna go higher than almost anyone in this deep end one of the best skaters when it comes to speed and flow look at that huge boneless on that Stanley Bank Clay's got a hot one going right now 15 seconds into his run the monster 540 landing perfect still got his speed hang on clay frontside air all the way over the bank this course being a little bit tighter than the years pass gets these guys a lot of opportunity to speed Wow kickflip Indy the fakie he's really adding some difficulty compared to his pre-op trick right here as the timed runs out this buzzer going off right here with a lean to tail how's that first start to the final Wow best of four runs clay Kriner comes out absolutely swinging huge 540 all kinds of craziness in that bad that run was really good it's pretty rare to see in a four run final the first skater bro-down a run that good I mean most contests that's a run that could be legitimately on the podium at the end of the day clay Kriner really set the standard right out of the gate yeah it's a good chance of clay just started the Stoke train here the profile I was joking around final with some of the guys earlier because clay Kriner and one of our young guys Luis Francisco were both doing big bonuses on that Bank it's a those guys should have their own high boneless contest in this event well that was absolutely nuts you know you get to go first and you drop a 88 like that I think those scores are going to start jumping uphill but in 88 it's a pretty strong score for the first guy in the finals the other seven guys on the deck just took a big like gulping their throat they're like wow so that's how it is today all right coming in and now auskey rosenberger coming out sweden dropping in for his first run of four here in the pro park one of my favorite guys to watch skate Wow look at that look at this part no scrap back tail slide into the mid section creative lines no speed tricks on the side of the extension from super speed [Applause] and totally off-the-cuff - it looked like he was just making it up and it went along Ali you 272 front flip up that extension that is so hard to not have your back trucks hang up on that bull coping insane how's that the Ali frontside disaster on this side of the Melo quarter pipe bag video I mean how do the judges even compare this to what like Halloween Justin right now it's totally different if I had one negative thing about Oscars run he did two different versions of that trick he did the backside 360 ollie without grabbing he also did one grabbing the nose when the judges see a trick kind of repeated like that where they're really similar it's not gonna score as high as if you did some another trick you know that's totally different style but still that is run a while now event run ah skis gonna be super stoked on that one so right now we've only had two guys to him through come through clay Kriner sitting on top of the score of an 88 yeah getting congrats from CJ Collins yeah the judges are taking their time hey if I was a judge I'd be taking my time also yeah it's definitely Amina has critical tipping 91 the second run into the Pro and we are already in the 90 where two runs into this final and that's two of the best runs the new kid Luiz Francisco is freaking right now like what did I get myself into telling you you start the Stoke train everyone starts to feed off of each other's energy and off the runs we were going to see some bonkers action here in this pro part final race Francisco the first Dew Tour ever he sighing stalefish to start this runoff and it is just off to a pretty powerful start here yeah this is a this kid is definitely showing that he deserves he's been killed in some of the Brazilian national contests it's his first time in the do to our interstates Wow he'll not flip has to run that one out with 15 seconds to go the first ball we've even seen in this benchmark final and you just compare you see Oscar just didn't stop doing tricks and clay Kriner there was just so much action going on in such a short period of time yeah you can't afford to be carving around this thing looking for lions counters Oski is definitely more of the flowy skater but he was doing tricks on every wall where clay just you know blasted the giant 540 and Lumiere's in the deep end you see the English on that back there sailfish Dale Fame huge step look at the freak out on the back foot right there you can't do a stale fish yeah when I watch Luis skate you definitely see a little bit of a Pedro Barros influence there you see the heel flip unfortunately did not flip with that trick you really have to lick your front foot off the nose to make the board live didn't have technique on that one unfortunately well we're moving right along in the roster right now Alex Sergent a one of the guys that we've been looking at as bleeding in park skills Wow look at that to start his run we did not see that in the prelims huge backside ollie on the extension Alex or Jess a guard first broke at the beginning of this run call he is cooking around this course oh my god huge Judah where that is a such a tricky spot get to land entry so Ghent a just ripping this Park getting a lot of tricks in here a lot of transfers creative yeah he's got mine no one else is doing he have back disaster seconds right here what's he got so J ending this run landed far down the transition again another perfect 45 second run these guys are not falling today crazy watch the roll in right he recorded their way give the ollie twice Sargento just Mach 10 through these corners huge judo air I like the way that he kind of mixed it up too like he was doing lines that you don't really see anyone doing here getting really creative with his combos yeah he's always good at adding these backwards tricks but look at this he lands so far down a little bit under rotated luckily this concrete's really grippy he didn't slide out look there mr. Tom Shaw who was out with an injury as Alex George Entei drops in 83 point three three usually sort gentei makes his run and he's straight to the top that shows the level pasti and click rider today alright well here's someone that I've been wanting to see he's been skating so strong here Cory Junior look at that first trick that was so intense really long front boardslide Cory also really flowy stylish skater gap up into the back Smith on the extension frontside Ollie over the hip trick to trick every wall how's the frontside bluntslide right in the corner right there cord you know is on fire this contest is knock-down drag-out these guys are going these are like contest winning runs and it's the back corner this is crazy still got eight seconds to go the last couple tricks he's a little bit came off of this rhythm at the very end of that run but that was about 41 seconds of some of the best part skateboarding you will ever see the frontside boardslide around the corner the nose grind around the corner the back lip almost tearing the back truck off it looked like he was you know got a little bit lost at the end of his run you know the first 35 or 40 seconds of his run was so amazing just kind of fell apart there at the very end definitely covering real estate on that right there so mental one slide in the elbow back nose blunt right here this is a really big transition it's so mellow so hard to slide it around the fakie so crazy that run was just chock-full I mean the minimum he slid on coping blocks was for yeah and but you saw at the very end he just got a little bit lost it didn't look like he knew what he was gonna do those last couple tricks you even saw the smile on his face cuz he was surprised he was still on his board and so not gonna be you know a huge score for Cory uh and there it is run number one in 82 but just the intensity that's happening out here in this final is out of control moving right along here that was Cory did you know next up hay mana rentals out of Hawaii will be the next guy in you said he took a big slam yesterday yeah he's got a brand new addition to his beautiful Hawaiian smile got a got a fresh chipped tooth has a has a big cut on the back of his head that had to get glued together streak that he's got a little hipper but it's good to go alright hey Mona I've never seen him on escape in pants or shirt yeah it's usually just Hawaiian style hey mana definitely showed that he deserved to be in the pro park contest last year ended up on the podium in his due to her how's that backside Ollie alley frontside air onto the extension he's got some great lines packing a lot of tricks in and very short amount of real estate right here bringing it back down to the deep end look at this winding up without frontside in for 15 seconds to go for hey Lana can he stay on this first run you got to wonder though if that full melon bonk yesterday where he chipped his tooth they hit the back of his head is really playing into his skate approach I mean it's I mean look at this run I mean he told me he's not a hundred percent he was still gonna try and go and he makes his first run yeah the no scrap backside 540 that beautiful frontside invert hey mana looking like he's unfazed just seeing the level of Oskie and clay though I think it's gonna be difficult for hay mana to repeat his podium performance of last year he's gonna have to step it up a little bit to get back up there well we shall see I mean this final is just going crazy [Music] yeah usually the first runs our guys kind of getting their legs under them you know get get rid of the contest jitters you guys the best frontside in verse I mean they're like it's like Mark Gonzales back just unbelievable the way stands on top of those love that he's got kind of a mix of lip tricks and hairs and hand plants and that nose grab 540 over the hip similar to what Alex or gentei did outs or Jen tase goofy foot hey Montez regular foot so going different directions over that hip there's the chippy right there got the Fang yeah that chip is brand new big hang-up slim yesterday in practice we're stoked that hey mano was able to answer the bell for the contest today had to get checked out go through the concussion protocol with the medical team this morning so hey mana getting a seventy seven point six six slots him into fifth place as we move right along Keegan at Palmer age 15 coming out of Australia but currently living down in North County San Diego and an absolute Ripper yeah Keegan qualified second yesterday really impressive performance from the young Australian he's been killing it at all the park and Bowl contests around the world getting better and better every time we see a backside breath 540 under the setup tricky section of the deep end look at these combinations love the nose bone style on the indie air over the Marseilles hit King and just went wrong and a cab back disaster in the deep and look at these combinations under 10 seconds to go another amazing run in our first round of the park final he's already got that 540 in the nose grab to fakie absolute perfect run backside 360 to end that or not god yes is night we're gonna have another kid way up in the eighties Keegan is stoked on that one I was really impressed by the alley-oop frontside air straight into the five point there was just so much going on I was impressed by all of this man this was a really really good run and especially for the first run look at that backside grab 540 how's this right here a giant Indira nose bone Wow I'm really curious to see what Keegan can add to this run I know he's got a few more difficult tricks probably a couple different 540 variations maybe he adds a kickflip to that Indy over the hip that theme plant was crazy too let's go ahead and just drips it down insane this ball park set up here with this ball just looks like it flows really well the riders are able to keep their speed and in the trick combos if you find the right line they're just happening whether they're packing a ton of tricks in two 45-second oh wait it's an 80 flat for Keegan I thought that was gonna be a lot higher scoring run than it was but then you look at it and you look at how good Corey's you know and Alex or Jen take playing Oskie those those were really really good runs for the first round the level is off the charts and the completely different riding styles I mean Oscar's run of just just going cirque in here Keegan and hamana in fifth and sixth place that those runs are 90% of part contests there on the podium that's right all right Tristen Randy in right now this will be the last run of the first of four Tristan has been on an absolute tear all year he's really come into his own this year at the park contests around the world shuffling it on the backside and those grime that trick was really sketchy Oh frontside air disaster around the elbow super relaxed style nose grab on the 540 perfect landing lots of speed putting these combos together big alley backside ollie just looking like he's very comfortable as you said that super nonchalant style that with such a long nose grinding up on the nose going through the elbow and backside 360 just a couple seconds to go this is a knock-down fight right now last trick was perfectly timed for the buzzer on that 45 seconds could not have planned out that 45 second run better Tristen Reni we have another amazing run how's this nose grab nose grab is such a difficult variation of the 540 way harder than grabbing behind your foot because your feet are just so loose obviously Tristen has the glue foot style congratulations to Tristen heard that he just got added to the blood lizard team how's that then stand up nose grind is just incredible this was his last couple tricks he's setting this foot up right there you see the movement of the front foot for the kickflip Indy over the Marseilles hip right at time it's gonna be interesting to see how this scores for him Tristen ready right now ending off the first round we have four rounds here in this final each rider will get four runs trying to throw down the best possible run so many people here on this day here watching the pro park final the last couple years Tristen has really shown he's a he's a consistent top-10 guy but the last few months he's taken that step to the next level won the big contest in Boise a couple weeks ago got second down in Brazil before that Tristan's been on a roll this year these guys are all so young and so talented at 94 Tristen Reni moves into second place sitting right behind Oski there wow this is just this is just gonna be even more intense now 4 runs 2 through 4 so back to the top of the roster here Oscar on top right now Tristan Renny in second play Chrono holding down third for the top three Chris past hrus is with hey Mona Reynolds yeah so hey Mona I know you went down really hard yesterday how you feeling yeah it took a good little slam yesterday take a good look at that chip tooth I do the little just look tougher I like it thank you but yeah I'm feeling okay you know took a medical like examine earlier I was like an hour and a half long but yeah I just did it and they cleared me to skate so yeah I'm just out here just you know just having fun just trying to have fun and uh trying to Glanz a couple lines you know I'm not really too like major about what happens today about the score system I'm just glad to be like okay and able to walk and able to skate with all my friends you know I got to shake it off and the level is just so high today what's up with that everyone just says everyone has their days you know and it seems like today everyone's it's their day so everyone's freaking killing everyone's getting so good I mean yeah I just stoked to be out here man how much do you guys feed off each other when one of you start skating really good one person skates good then it's just like back to back to back to back and everyone just wants to they don't really want to like up the other person but they're gonna up them still talk over the just wants to skate good and everyone says everyone's just feeding off of each other like sharks so and now you got a consistent run in the book so you're gonna step up the level yeah definitely I got just one in the book so now it's time to like up it up a little bit you know some hay mana all the best brother yeah back to you guys thanks Chris pasture is wow what an intense first run of this final now this bowl a character in itself here so lines Neil let's break down what makes this parkour so special yeah super unique Park that just got built specific for this contest this weekend you've seen the guys killing it one of the coolest features here at the end focus on the Stanley Bank that's clear plexiglass that's surface did you get that marks a hit from the famous skate park in France tallest part is the Melo quarter pipe got the deep end where all the spins and big 540's are gonna go down really use a shallow pocket just a pump for speed lots of space for lip tricks on the pool coping in this long steel coping wall well that was the boost mobile course breakdown here as we see that Stanley flat Bank right there a plexiglass one run in the book second run starts right now we're gonna start off with clay Kriner yet again and feeding off of the intense energy that happened in run number one yeah now that clay has got a good run in the bag gonna trying to crank up that difficulty clays got a couple of really difficult 540 variations curious to see what he decides to add for this second run you need to keep your power up your speed up you need to put the hard trick combos together clay Kriner is an absolute animal when it comes to ripping through a park scenario yeah last year was his first Dew Tour ever trying to add the difficulty with the heelflip frontside air first wall that's why we get four ladies gentleman four runs best of four on course right now clay Kriner he's in third place currently so this runs got to be a throwaway but he's still gonna be able to triumph figure that he'll flip frontside air out for his next couple runs it's got an 88 on the board but with ah skis 91 clay knows he's got to bring a couple of the big tricks out to try and bump into the 90s and in the qualifier we saw him throw down and get that heel flip frontside air the other day so he just wants to get that right now and just to put it in the bag kickflip McTwist yeah body varial 540 that's one of them really part 540 variations I was referencing earlier so place definitely has a couple big guns he can pull out all right well clay Kriner that will do it for his second run moving right along now into the lead position of Oscar Rosenberg coming out of Sweden and this is when awesome West what's going on here he's likes copia he's doing weird moves man good eye on that Todd he was definitely eyeing up that rail at the top of the bank where's he gonna go they'll fly out the top of the nose man ah ski just figures it out man he finds stuff in this Park that no one else will see auskey coming in with a lot of speed here look at that right there she was trying to go off the top coping all the way off the extension over the hip this is when a ski just you know now he was able to relax he's got a 91 on the board already and he can just get weird auskey just piling into the flat Bank right there just truly unique lines and as I said as we were looking at him he was kind of eyeing up one of the railings that's you know for the spectators basically to fly out the top of the Stanley Bank and maybe do a Yank in like yeah you know it was really interesting he came up to me this morning and he said hey can you uh you tell the live announcer to mention to call out when I have ten or fifteen seconds left in my run because I have no plan or idea and haven't timed my runs out so I have no idea what I'm doing or where I'm going so if the announcer can tell me when my runs almost over that that's the best kind of skating for the fans I mean it when you're totally sporadic in what you're gonna do on these courses it just lends itself to having just exciting skateboarding you've got two more runs to go that one was a throwaway but he's still sitting in the lead with a ninety one a run with just a smattering of creativity on run number one excited to see our young Brazilian up next Brazil's such a hotbed of Park skating a couple of the the usual contenders didn't qualify for this final Pedro borrows with some uncharacteristic Falls and Murillo Perez usually in the finals and all the international Park contests didn't make the final but the young guy from Brazil Luiz Francisco from Sao Paulo the lone Brazilian to qualify for the final with a marvelous looking stalefish there on the yellow bag their gums look how much speed a little guy named when we get pumping her speed through the shallow corners gapping up to the lip slide on the pool coping we saw this deep end is where he fell on the heel flip indy going for even more difficulty on the kickflip the flip tricks I've taken Lewis out the first couple runs unfortunately grabbing the opposite rail on the kick flip indy he wants to get it there it is nope so once again best a four run format these guys can throw a couple of these runs away only taking the best score and out of our eight skaters he's really the only skater so far that hasn't put a full run together accord you know had to fall right in time but the other six skaters have already made a full run so having a little bit of a problem here with this flip tricks and failing right there on the heel flip indy and as we said it's gonna rack a couple more runs up here before it's all over so that will do it for Louise Francisco's second run looking at the current standing this Oscar Rosenberg on top of the 91 Tristan Reni and clay cron are those are your top three Alex Tour gentei is sitting in the fourth at eighty three point three three he will be coming up here next now you know really surprising to see sore gent eight eight points out of the lead with with that full run sore gentei i mentioned it earlier but usually when he makes his run he's usually pretty high up there sore gentei looking at the scoreboard right now knows he's got to add some difficulties to be able to hang with Oscar and Tristan yeah and Sergeant a is gonna have to really heat it up he's got those giant 540's he did that notice grabbed 540 over the hip that maybe landed a little bit low maybe wasn't as action-packed as he probably yeah it is run and he's got the ollie 540 so I expect to see maybe sore gentei tries to do the 540 without grabbing it would be super difficult well here we go Alex door gentei in the bowl for his second run Wow the top rope that is so gnarly to Holly into the deep end to start your run hopping over there on that five of ya the judges are really gonna appreciate the difficulty he's able to add into those lip tricks and so Jen she just stands so tall and skates Wow kickflip Indy that one flipped that's the trick that Louise fell on last run hit a huge one out be able to fakie going backwards now onto the big extension with the fakie five-o in and out that combo right there into the caballerial is crazy no time to think at all last trick right here force or gentei and that is gonna be time before the frontside ollie on the pool coping extension another solid run for house or gentei I still you know he added the kickflip Indy of the deep end which is huge I still don't think it's in the 90s with asti and Tristan but he did have these crazy combos watch this right here they all in man very difficult this the next one over here the five over he kind of hops out over this little hip yeah that is so that is so much harder than it looks notice grind up on top Neal this combo that he does here gets the kickflip huge kickflip yeah catches it with that back foot gets the front foot on at the last second so where do you think this is going to put him in the running run you know I don't see him bumping into the top three I think I think he's still got to add a little bit more difficulty to get in the high 80s or low 90s all right run number two and eighty three point six six so does improve his score just a little bit but not enough to bump him up into that top three so here we go korede you know is up next probably one of my favorite skaters to watch her just because his slides on the coping are so long like that how is he still on his board super loosey goosey style wild style for sure but just packing super hard tricks first slide oh my gosh all the guys in this final are just making magic happen on their skateboard back wheels but Reaver under 15 seconds to go keep it going cord you know back lift through the corner such a casual style cord you know one foot of it ollie right there coming around here on one more trick what's it going to be backside 360 ollie Wow oh my gosh and just the after buzzer little fakie nosegrind what is going on every single one of those tricks from the very first one he dropped into the front boardslide looked like he hung his front wheels on the deck I thought he was jumping off you see him getting congratulated by all those talks too much weight on the deck I thought he was just gonna jump on he decides to try and make it grab the nose of his board put his hand down you see his mouth was just wide open as he's still smiling when he goes up for this insane looking frontside flip barely catches it with his toes and that just set the stage for the rest of his run he was just hanging on for dear life cord you know keeping it exciting for us and that's what these kind of these runs are all about is just keeping the audience on their feet backside ollie 360 just mellow in there chucking this backside lipslide around the corner just kept delivering all the way through gap to back Smith up on the extension even when he lost his rhythm and he lost his flow he was still hammering hard tricks every wall every trick that Cory's you know just threw in that run was 100% committed starting off with basically a mistake but somehow tacking together a run that pops him into the 90s ninety three point three three corage you know is into first this has got to be one of the gnarliest pro-park finals I've ever seen the level is just off the charts backwards pence cord you know right now sitting on top with a crazy run it's cool to see Asti Oski just got bumped out auskey was chilling with a 91 comfortably is the lead and chords you know just took him out Asti came over to congratulate and you can never really discount the fact just a little bit of sketchiness in your run can go a long way with richards and and these guys like auskey auskey still has two more shots to get that lead back all right hey mono rentals fresh recipient of a chip tooth coming out of Hawaii dropping in for his second run second place last year in his first due to her he's got some serious work to do if you want to do that again having some difficulty straight off the bats of this run and he was talking about it in that interview with Chris pastors all these riders just beating up each other and he's just going to bonkers right now also in the interview he's like I don't care about the scores I don't care about what place I get yeah right yeah faking the front foot off on the front side invert adding difficulty to every trick this is so fun to watch these guys are all just going for frog 540 nose grabs surfing it around trying to find hold my cousin she just lost his speed there with a few seconds to go looks like he didn't really know where he was going came off of this line it all went down the tubes with about five seconds to go but check out these replays man the kickflip frontside air Neal I mean that these riders are just like you said they've gotta up the ante a little bit hey mana just finding all kinds of crazy lines look at that Madonna right there I cannot believe the level right now back blunt to back disaster on the big extension just flowing around hey Mona's got a very deep background of surfing as well you can totally see it in his skateboarding taking the front foot off on that is so hard anybody can you learn that surfing no absolutely not and then just a little truck bash right there hey mana Reynolds coming out of Hawaii just absolutely ripping you guys aren't doing hand plants on the waves yet no it doesn't happen does not happen seventy seven point six six oh man the score to beat right now a ninety three point three three I mean look at the level look at Keegan Palmer's than six do you remember how good Keegan Palmer's run was that's crazy and he is up next Keegan Palmer about to drop in he's got basically every trick in the book I mean what do you think he's gonna do here to pump this line up I think he's gonna do some different 540 variations I think he maybe tries to do a boned out Indy 540 instead of backside 540 probably to try and flip his board [Music] all right so here's where we are right now sitting on top of the heap corage you know after run number two and ninety three point three three oski rosenberg coming out of sweden with a ninety one Tristan Rennie in third place a very intense final going down high hay mana rentals absolutely shredding there has been so much intense action every run better than the last yeah the level of skating this final has just been absolutely off the charts really different styles of skating auskey Rosenberg from Malmo Sweden currently sitting in second place this is our current leader Cory Juneau perfect frontside flip on the big extension and I mean it just keeps coming every run is just bringing some new level of intensity and all new tricks dropping in next Keegan Palmer youngster out of Australia currently living in North County San Diego and he has got basically every trick yeah only 15 years old so Keegan is going to be a threat in these part contests for years to come and one of the riders that we saw put together really complicated lines early on in practice that combination Ally frontside air fares the in d-pod tried to add some difficulty on his first run he did a backside grab 540 in the deep end this run went for the indy that's a little bit harder and really awkward fall i can't believe that these kids are able to run out of those five forties with no pads in the deep end well let's check out the replay here Neal I mean there was a lot going right for his run straightaway crazy combination two tricks here that just really didn't stop until that in fact yeah you mentioned it it's how he uses these hips look how hard this is back Smith over the hip and then alley-oop frontside air you have to land in exactly the right spot to set up for that 540 the Indy grab tuck knee just unfortunately wasn't able to stick to his feet had the awkward tumble out of it you see Keegan's a little bit bummed on that one okay so Keegan is currently going to keep himself in 6th place he gets two more runs Tristen Reni is up next and Neal you've been even hyping this guy up for years yeah he's he's been doing great man he's really becoming contender just in the last few months in these part contests all around the world all right Tristan Reni starting his run trying to build up on what he has already and feed off the Stoke of the other riders it's fun to watch these guys once they've made their run they're able to try some different stuff you saw Tristan going for an alley-oop and those grab over that hip really tricky where he's landing there in that shallow end pocket there's no flat bottom right there you have to land perfect he's going for a little Cory Juneau inspired frontside flip all right well that run will be a wash for Tristan Rennie and that'll bring us back to the top of the order but Tristan running right now currently sitting in third place he's got a lot of different trick variations we saw that nose grind that back side nose grind there didn't actually shuffle out of that last one got it clean so there's just little improvements here and there that can really bump your scores up with the judges yeah you see Tristan there's the back nose grind you were talking about popping him perfect sets his feet up for this alley-oop and looks like he may be just on that big pool coping it looked like it maybe bounced his feet off of his board and wasn't able to commit to the land and I talked to some of the other skaters earlier too they were saying that that little pocket right there really difficult to land perfectly here's the results so far Cory Juno still sitting on top ninety three point three three that is the score to beat Chris Pasteur's is down on the deck with cord you know Cory that was a crazy run take us through a couple of those tricks the frontside boardslide to the corner and I just want to do my best and I kind of got hung up slid out on that front rock slide I just wanted to make it so bad I just had a boy back in grab the nose during it yeah it was almost like a lay back invented a new trick and then the frontside flip I just like got past the rock slide I was like might as well try something hard cuz I kind of blew it already they didn't do it as clean as I want I've just hung onto the frontside flip and it was like enough to stoked me out to make it through the rest of my run some hives how come you do so well at Dew Tour is it being close to home is it the Sun I don't know me I think it's just look maybe it's my time of the year I'm feeling good I don't know I'm just like to be out here my friends got it what do you feed off the most in this event I watching so gentle and all the little drums and everyone out there just shred it's just just like so unbelievable to see how much everyone progresses every year ah skis did the most like unbelievable run I didn't expect and I just know everyone had to pull everything they got out for this year defending champ highest score of the day so far courage you know thank you buddy thank you crisp asterisk or a Juneau is sitting on top right now with a wild trick packed ride it was intense from beginning to end and he's got a couple more runs you have to go so there we look at the leaderboard cords you know on top a ski Rosenberg out of Sweden Tristan Rennie in third action is fast and furious here at the Dew Tour in Long Beach stick around much more yet to come [Applause] yeah most of the guys I hire or skateboarders that's really the how I get the longevity out of a miss cuz it's not just a paycheck it's actually there you know it's a passion of theirs skateboarding for 20 years but the building for about five now so doing this dreamed up our designer comes up with a design they've changed it a bunch of times we build as much as we can at the shop load it on the truck and we bring it here and we all float it and start putting everything together you have to know what's gonna work and what's not gonna work sculpting a perfect bowl it's it's true art form professionals that are here you know they say something doesn't feel right then we go in and change it to write it ourselves every park is built different but but all the walls and everything is built beautiful and awesome you can tell skaters built it like they know what they're doing [Music] we're out here twelve hours a day and the gettin burnt you know it's a labor of love you paid to do what we love our crews we're all one big family we're very passionate about skating and about building [Music] the action has been non-stop in the men's park final here in Long Beach California this is the Dew Tour this is some of the most intense Park skating we have ever seen in competition format it's like these guys are just putting these runs together Niel break down what we've seen so far yeah I'm totally shocked by the lineup and the runs that these guys have made hey Cory Gino and Oscar Rosenberg proving that you don't need a 540 in your run to win the Dew Tour we were just talking about that that is crazy to see it's just cool I love that the judges are rewarding the difficulty of tricks like Cory Gino's frontside flip and just the unique creativity of oski Rosenberg I think it's legit it doesn't come down to one big move you got to put these moves together they got to be creative and the tighter the combos the bigger the scores all right moving on to run number three this is let's see actually run number two this is getting ready here getting things going 'we Kriner saw plays laughter on he's got some difficult tricks he's gonna try and add to bump up that 88 by crying a whipping around here into this pocket we saw him fail a few times on run number two alley-oop in D onto the extension now pumping for speed big run as I boneless on the Stanley Bank wall like that combo straight out of that pump into the Smith grind this is where clay shines wowie did you see how he had to squat that one out air all the way over the bank back into the deep end where clay is most comfortable with the front tail slide through the corner now what does he try he's got a couple big tricks down here big flip body varial that was going for blood right there that could be a potentially contest-winning trick if he throws that down so clay Kriner having a couple little mistakes there in the end look how close he was to hang it up right there has to squat that one out with a stylish little finger drag in the flat bottom and watch this nail right here you talked about a kickflip to body bear yep I mean that is just one of the hardest tricks you will ever see in a fur ball I mean it's not a very deep bowl either you could see that on a vert ramp potentially yeah I mean clay is used to skating you know he skates the big air contest at X Games he skates Bob Burnquist mega ramp he's won Probert contests before so he's used to skating these giant ramps and so yeah it's pretty impressive that clay is able to do all those big moves look this size Oscar Rosenberg getting ready to start his run very creatively right here Alling in yeah every time auspey drops in it's completely different haven't seen anyone even look at that all week I've watched every practice session oh my gosh that was at Ted that once is a highlight reel of a lifetime and just I mean after he did that - it just went started rapid-fire back and forth with the tricks so intense - the big spin half-cab you know when I was watching practice I saw these guys eyeing up some transfers and I was kind of looking myself on some cool creative lines I never even thought in my wildest dreams someone would snap over that whole Center section I can't wait to see this geez look at that and even lands kind of up stood that was first try to be able to think like that on your feet and then just casual front 5o through the deep end corner that is a special skateboarder oski Rosenberg auskey just spur the moment skating at its finest so insane it's gonna be crazy to see how the judges you know will even look at a trick like that of course you know still sits on top a ski that was his run right there run number three but he's still sitting in second place with a 91 I want to see more Oscar Rossum graph he can do that transfer and make the full run it's gonna be a huge score so Louise Francisco out of Brazil in now for his third run young new Brazilian really the only skater in the contest that hasn't put a full 45 second run together really been struggling with these flip tricks felony heel flip Indy grab his first run felt a kick with a grin both his second third run tough break for Luiz Francisco but this is a almost went for a dive into the park he's frustrated by that camera cable right there I mean what is it you seen him time not get the flip out of the board what would be the explanation that he would give that honestly I've seen Louis skate a lot the last couple years these are these are pretty new tricks for him there's the heel flip nd it's been skating a lot of the Brazilian contests they've got a whole Park series circuit down there and he he really hasn't had to add all those tricks you know skating against all the Brazilians now when he's skating against the best guys in the world from the US from Australia these are guys that have X Games titles due to her titles fans Park series World Championships titles he knows he's got to add those tricks so you know you try the hard stuff sometimes you're gonna fall so unfortunately for him going down on the kickflip Indy once again so we have gotten way more action this is run number three well the action is going mental here in Long Beach Cora Gino sits on top Oscar Rosenberg in second Tristan Rennie still holding down third place we've got lots more to come here this is run number three of four and it's just getting better and better stick around you are watching the two tour built by Mountain Dew [Music] [Applause] do tourists brought to you by Mountain Dew do the dew Boost Mobile Boost Mobile makes it easy to switch switching makes it easy to save and by Mountain Dew ice a clear refreshing lemon line do [Music] Long Beach California is the site of the men's pro-park final how's it going everybody Todd Richards and Neil Hendricks in the booth we're talking men's pro-park bottle at the Dew Tour up next Alex Sergent a about to take his third run in an absolutely insane men's pro-park final sore gentei interestingly had an eighty three point three three on both his first and second run with totally different lines well here we go Alex or Jen chieh we were just talking about it in the break he needs to bring something crazy to this one - bats eyes nose pick now we're good let's run now we're talking he's really starting to pack the moves in here a lot of the riders that are doing well have brought a lot of tricks in a very short space on this part so Jen take Khloe backside Ollie and he doesn't under it ate it and slid down the transition you know I've seen him do that trick a few times and this new concrete's got a bit of grip so you can under rotate and get away with it but that time his wheels just completely slid out on it there was a lot going on no that was right in this run check this out caballerial nose pick that is such a hard lip trick to do in your contest run and just using these hips back-to-back tweaking out the backside air lodi backside ollie here's where it all went wrong you'll see he under rotate doesn't ride down straight lands completely sideways and that's I mean you just kind of like shifted it out there yeah you can save it when you're under rotated by maybe 45 degrees you're able to just power it around with your front foot but he landed dead sideways that time and there's no saving that so pressure is on for Alex or gent a for run number four that'll do it for him on running three moving down the line here straight into our next competitor who is the guy that is on top right now corage you know with a ninety three point three three but you know what let's throw it down to an absolute style legend who is with Chris past hrus on the deck mr. Stevie cab Steve Caballero is so honored to have you here first of all how you enjoying this contest brother Oh Chris I'm doing tons man this is amazing skateboarding at its finest just so blessed to be in here man to keep rolling with all these guys and they just keep blowing me away of all the things that they're doing yeah what's it like watching the level of skateboarding progress each year man it's encouraging it's inspiring it's just see how kids are taking skateboarding to the next levels you know just when you think we've done it all someone comes out and just bust something new you know speakin of which we've got our current leader about to drop in I know he's one of your favorites you want to call his run for us sure man yeah awesome no man he's just amazing I love his style I love the power the grace he makes skateboarding look amazing he makes he's what skateboarding should look like for sure style fun he's there he goes here we go see what he's doing oh we got our cameraman to move we got go for a knows blood yeah and cab how much do these guys feeding off each other remind you of yourself and lance and hosoi feeding off each other well I mean these guys are all buddies you know and they all skate together so when someone does a good run you know just makes you amped and want to go further be bigger and do you know just an amazing run and it's such a good feeling to come out of the pole doing your run and just doing what you're set to do you know it's I don't know how everybody else is but I kind of block everything out I block the music out I block the crowd out I just kind of focus on what I'm doing do you guys have a friendly competition going when you skate together we always do man you know we always pushing each other but you know it's it's it's a commodity of just gating together you know and just everybody just pushing each other and like I said you see someone doing awesome trick you're like man oh maybe I can go higher than that or maybe go farther than that speaking of going higher and farther we're gonna keep you for high mana rentals run since we got shorted there hopefully you can see this just scoot over there cameraman all right cool I'm on is another favorite from Hawaii he's awesome yeah so we're gonna wait for him on it to drop in and then cab he's gonna call it with me here so you've been joint and joined in through our weekend overall it's been amazing man I haven't been to one in a long time and I'm just pretty stoked to be here to see the energy see all the fans crowd the Sun everyone's stoked man it's just been a great weekend for everybody and hey Mon is in go for a caddy that 50/50 let's see what he's got going here frontside flip frontside grabs holy it looks like frontside alley-oop frontside air into a huge Madonna backside blunt a back side D another frontside air over the hip lost his footing you know everything is about being focused and putting your feet in the right place and it's a lot of concentration I mean these guys are so focused you know and that's why they come here early practice er runs you know so these guys are serious man that you know serious business when you're competing they learn from the best like yourself finger flip front Seidenberg he's got all these different variations of frontside inverts manny and then one thing that's cool about my mana it just makes it look fun he's always smiling he's got a great attitude hawaiian style well cab we love you thank you very much much respect back to you guys thank you very much Chris pastors Stevie Caballero absolute legend I am honored to call that gentleman my friend Wow but hey look I don't think I've ever seen anyone do a finger flip frontside inverting you know have you ever seen yeah I've seen hey mana do it and it's yeah like cap said he has some insane frontside invert variations he's got a frontside invert gymnast plant where you take both feet off the board so hey mano Reynolds will get one more shot at trying to take home a place on the podium moving right along on Keegan Palmer currently in 6th place we're very surprised to see him in 6th place after that killer run he put down on runnable yeah he qualified second with a similar amazing run and then the finals all his competitors came out swinging and I think he got a little shook he didn't Wow there's the Indy 540 Keegan's able to step it up with a harder 540 variation now what can he add to the end of his run so that Indy 540 being more difficult than the melon grab 540 just by virtue of body placement and Keegan is just on a rip right here Wow cab disaster almost hanging that back truck up a couple more tricks eggplant reverb what's it gonna be for the final moves here might have time for about one more there's the backside lipslide Neal what do you think that's gonna do for me I mean he did a couple tricks in it could bump him up a little bit but I still think that he needs to flip his board he's you know he's got a kickflip stalefish a kickflip Indy a kid foot melon he didn't do any of those flip tricks think he's got to flip his board to bump up onto the podium well we've seen so many different styles come through here today this current style that is reigning on top it's basically sliding on that coping as far as you possibly can and just putting yourself on that razor's edge look at this that Indy 540 first time we've seen anyone do that 540 variation here in the finals definitely harder than the backside graph that he did on his first run in the finals and this youngster coming out of Australia living in Southern California right now is going to be around for years he's got such a clean style he's got a lot of hard tricks and Keegan Palmer right now looking to bump himself currently sitting on an 80 and a forty six point three three so getting himself an 83 there on run number three gets one more so still men's ranking looks like this cord you know sitting comfortably on top with that ninety three point three three so Keegan improved three points he he previously had an eighty point zero bumped up to eighty three but did not improve his position so that moves us on to tristan Rennie who was in the ball now already on the podium in third we saw he's got some harder tricks he can add to this run specs of unique creativity out of trips and back side nose grind up the extension alley backside air into the tight pocket it is bang-bang-bang trick after trick for Tristan ready and that's really how we've seen some of those big scores come up is just holding onto it in that corner section and working this part of the park like a rib yeah just looked like he over amped on the alley backside Ollie and Tristan has such a unique mix of tricks because he's got the nose grab 540 he's got flip tricks and he's got really hard lip tricks on the coping and he's sitting right now on a ninety currently has him in the third place so he's on the podium he's gonna get one more run through this we are at the end of run number three Tristan Rennie qualified first so he gets to watch everyone go and he will get the last answer on run number four but check this out the back to backs over this hip yeah those combinations you just have to think so quick that's such a big gap into the back and those grind you have to be set up perfect for this alley-oop nose grab right here again super precise landing to go back over that hip but here on the ally backside Ollie think he just went a little bit higher than he expected or just floated away from his feet all right well moving back to the top here clay Kriner is will be the next one in on run number four so here is the leaderboard right now as we head into the fourth and final run Cory Juneau will he be able to hold on to the top spot it's got that 93.3 3 Oscar Rosenberg Tristan Rennie that is your top three right now more action from the men's pro-park final here in Long Beach if you're just joining us you're showing up at the perfect time before thand final runs of one of the most intense park competitions we have ever seen are about to go down insane actions so far Neil we've just been blown away by the skateboarding here today yeah these guys came out swinging in the first round I think six of our eight finalists made nearly perfect runs put some huge scores on the board from the very GetGo yeah and speaking of huge scores korede you know sitting on top of the 93.3 three in a crazy run that had us just scratching our heads I'm going to lose my voice after this competition comes completely different styles at the top of the leaderboard there cords you know with the perfect frontside flip and some really hard lip tricks ah ski with just his really creative use of the course and Tristan Rennie with a nose grab 540 along with all the other tricks well up next clay Kriner this is his fourth run the final chance for him to make a shot at he's got all the ingredients he has the skills let's see if he can put it together got a smile on his face when he drops in that's a good sign big stalefish through the elbow trying to squeak it walls almost hit the hip got off of his line a little bit there and was able to save it look at that frontside goal this huge on the Stanley flat back the play is not holding back right now on this last run landing on that 540 still keeping the speed back into the shallow section front side tail grab over the bank a lot of real estate being covered there though on the back of unfortunately that's a lot of wasted time also because that's tricks that aren't happening and tries to get that kick flip body varial 540 unfortunately for clay on his fourth and final run he doesn't get it to ya you see him punch his board with frustration after that fall that here's the backside 540 little stylish knee bend on the landing grabbing the tail as he goes from transition to transition and here the port did not flip got tangled up and you see the frustration there unfortunately clay Kriner on the fourth and final run not able to put it together so he will have to watch and wait and see how the rest of this crazy final plays out still pretty stoked he's good in 4th place he wants to get it he wants to get the kick flip body varial here Willy stick gnarly trick I still I'm impressed that he can run out of that trick you're upside down board flipping completely angled with your board and your feet and you're able to run down the transition well nice work from clay Kriner and now we go to the person that's sitting in second by virtue of one of the craziest creative runs we've seen here today he's got a wild style but it's controlled and even the run that he he did a transfer that no one eats no one else has even looked at 272 front lip she's off in the front side 50 all most hung up on that extension auskey barely hanging on every one of these tricks gapped up 50/50 the back tail off skis on another good one ah ski is just going crazy over here barely holding on somehow making tricks like that backside knows what happens so fast Wow back tail in the deep end corner ah ski is still hanging on this run is so red ten seconds to go Asti unpredictable the best it's seeing on the alley-oop runs on disaster that was insane some of those tricks in there were just so lightning lightfoot quick yeah he started his run really similar to his first run that got him that big score then tried to mix it up with some some new tricks I mean this right here the way that he started that run I mean just the Ahly in yeah I mean that alone is really really hard and that this valley you've 272 front lift no one else is doing that trick it is so risky so easy to hang your back truck and once again they almost hung up on the extension of that really sketchy reentry coming down that hip back 502 tail slide on the big extension every single one of these tricks is so hard look at the precision landing on the back truck taking it to tail oski coming out of sweden just ripping this park to pieces no run is the same no planned line currently sitting in second place by virtue of a 91 off skis definitely gonna be stoked on that one getting the high five from the dudes on the deck still has a couple of tricks he wants to knock out it looks like after time this one's just for the crowd trying to go all the way over the head another transfer that no one else has even looked at besides oski he's definitely making the hardest lines in this park competition look doable but any like mortal person in there would just get played try him at a club so that will do it for ah skis fourth and final run but currently still sitting in second place moving on to the young Brazilian but Oski wants one more shot at this is he going to get it as we look at the leaderboard here Cory Juneau is still on top Oscar Rosenberg in second Kord you know sits on top oski rosenberg in second tristan running in third much more to come from this pro-park final here in Long Beach [Music] back I've got the one and only Christian Hosoi another founding father of transition skating Christian what are your thoughts on what we're seeing in this do to our final I think it's a lot of pressure for the guys but they're handling it I'm looking at them skate and doing their runs in just the spontaneousness the holding on the sheer adrenaline you're seeing it in these guys just taking you know their runs and and really committing to it I remember a skating competition and thinking you know what stay on no Matt that's all I thought about because I knew what I had to do I had to just kill it and these kids are like going in there and they're doing exactly that and to watch them go through that process in their head while they're skiing because that's what I'm thinking when I'm looking at them skate I'm not thinking of what their tricks they're gonna do I'm watching them how they process their runs how they you know change their run when they land at the bottom and things like that make all the difference when it comes to you know an elite skateboarder and I'm always checking that out when I'm watching it about cords you know with the front boardslide and then grabbing nose to make it I think that's what you're talking about yeah the sponge tenuity that these kids have to stay on and just make it look good you know jacory Geno definitely he makes skateboarding look easy you know and in a ski as well a ski similar styles they're like power fast and but they look relaxed and it's one of the things that you know I came from that school of style and those kids got style that's what you know elevates the bar in my book of what I love about skateboarders but they I think one last run might for a few of them and I'm excited to see that but what what's gone down already if you weren't here live I mean there's something about being here live if you're seeing it on TV it's amazing but be here live it'll blow your mind it 100% and one last question I asked this to cab how much does it remind you watching these guys feed off each other does it remind you of yourself Lansing cab feeding off each other for sure when mean Lance and cab were on the and you know we're going for the top five spots we've got one can't forget Mike McGill and Tony yeah Tony Mike McGill I mean the list goes on of some of the guys Chris Miller but we'd be sitting there and we're encouraging each other worst cheering each other on and that's what these guys are doing and I love the camaraderie like that and there's still that element of like I want to win at the same time but at the same time you're cheering for your for your friends and your brothers to to do their best and that's what it's all about amen to that we love you Christian Hosoi back to you guys thank you who's up we are back here at the Dew Tour in Long Beach California we've seen some insane park riding going down here and it's just getting better and better this is run number four this is for all the marbles now accorded you know still sits on top of the 93.3 3 Oscar Rosenberg ah ski with that 91 and Tristan Rennie with a 90 that's your top 3 right now as we go into the fourth run for Luis Francisco out of Brazil still have six skaters to go so that entire leaderboard could change so Luiz Francisco coming out of Brazil hasn't put down a solid run yet that he can get all the way through and make those flip tricks will we see it here Neil yeah the flip tricks have been causing a lot of grief today but Luis is super exciting to have the new guy around there's the kickflip Indy finally was able to put one under his feet hopefully you can hang on for twenty more seconds Ali you frontside 5050 Luiz is on a good one right now so you gonna get the heel flip right here didn't flip regardez made it you see the guys cheering on the deck taking the front foot off on the frontside grab big frontside bonus on the bank finally Lewis is gonna complete a full 45 second run time for him right there with that backside 540 melon over the hip I mean that was just at time yeah unfortunately yeah that backside 540 over the hip was after time ran out I believe but stoked to see Luiz finally hang on for the full 45 seconds hey that heel flip that didn't flip that was nutty that frontside sailfish to just bananas super stylish on the front stalefish the heel flip indy did not flip he still threw it under his feet to make it backside 540 had to squat it out with a little hand drag Wow what a run ending things off the kickflip Indy to fakie unfortunately a couple of those tricks after time but still able to put down a full run after having tricks plagued you the entire day that's gotta feel good so Luis Francisco comes in run number 473 points six six we'll have him in eighth place but a lot more contests for coming up for that kid very young coming out of Brazil yeah this is his first Dew Tour made it to the final so he's got to be stoked on that alright Alex or Jen chieh currently sitting in fifth place one of the riders that we think has the best potential to make it into that top three I was not expecting Alex or Jen to make his run and being fit usually when he makes his full run he's on the podium he's got to step it up this run look at these hard tricks on the hips Pig Madonna in the deep end so Jen chieh basically just linking a bunch of tricks together they're over in the deep end still though we've got to see a lot complicated Oh as he goes down on the nosegrind yes or gentei you know even with that run even if he made that run he was not gonna be a threat to the podium I mean this is the guy that won the X Games last year he won the Vance Park series World Championships in 2016 and he is getting smoked by the new guys that's it to say that this park setup really lends itself to the the riders that can just kind of throw themselves into these crazy slides around again and it's you mentioned it earlier it's packing a ton of tricks into that 45 seconds and Alex also wasted a lot of time going long ways across that's this part it unfortunately got hung up on the front nose grind so Alex or gentei is out but next up is the leader that we have with a ninety three point three three corage you know is about to drop in he's had some just berserk runs here so far his second run was absolutely off the charts starting off with a crazy frontside boardslide that somehow he pulled off let's see these got for this fourth and final run going for that same trick that was precision right there frontside flip that would have been amazing cords you know it's gonna end up sitting on that second run score of the ninety three point three three but man and things were starting off so well right there he's gonna have to sweat out three more skaters that are gonna be able to take a big swing at his score look at that front pivot to fakie we're going to go what's he cord you know right there I can't wait to see the replay though of that frontside boardslide about ten or twelve coping blocks right there one of the best-looking tricks that we will see here today so subtle but just oh my god five foot high backside noseblunt is so fun can you just keep skating Cory we'll just watch your warm-up runs even look at this just flat all around the corner that was just perfect there was no hands down there was no grab in the nose like his previous run and then the frontside flip he just went for maximum altitude on that one should not Nick to his feet well Cory do you know still in the lead though ninety three point three three three guys left will be back is anyone gonna have what it takes to take down Cory Geo stick around and find out you're watching the Dew Tour built by Mountain Dew [Applause] [Music] [Music] smile and a patient [Music] miracle tricks [Music] [Applause] this is the Dew Tour from Long Beach California the men's pro park final looks like this so far Accord you know ninety three point three three by virtue of his second run this is the last runs here will courage you know be able to hang on to the lead the ninety three point three three laid down on run number two of four with absolutely nuts that is a monster score so we have three more guys that are gonna take a swing at that ninety three but Cory's got to be feeling pretty good about that score that he put up all right the three guys left hey mana rentals Keegan Palmer and Tristan Rennie hey mana Reynolds from Hawaii is up first it's the top three qualifiers from free limbs so these guys know what it takes to be at the top hi MA hey mana trying to get himself hyped up for this run front 5o through the corner carrying a lot of speed big kickflip frontside grab landing perfect with speed backside Ollie onto the bank hey mana looking to put together a run that's got a couple more tricks in it that are more technical to bump up that score taking it into the deep end using those hips there's the side stalling out so stalled out hey mana trying to get his score pumped up a little bit to bump him into that top three setting up for the hip there's the nose grab 540 can he keep his speed going for a couple last tricks right here goes for the unit makes it we call that one the unit it's a frontside 540 handplant putting your hand down it's really hard to do on a mellow transition like that completed run for hay mana I think he's gonna bump his score up but unfortunately I think with those giant scores the guys put down on the earlier runs I don't think he's gonna be back on the podium like he was last year well there's that big kickflip frontside air but you know what I really want to see the replay of the unit there's probably only a handful of people on the planet that have ever done that true that is definitely a holdover from 1980s vert skateboarding was not expecting to see that at all one of the first 540 has ever done on a skateboard and it wasn't aerial 540 it was actually an invert 540 Wow I didn't even see from my previous angle how sketchy his front foot got on that Ollie to five-o Chang out this nose grab 540 over the Marseille hip so hey mana just holding on packing in a whole bunch of tricks and just whips it into the temporary tornado right here snaps off that how did he make that look how under-rotated he was squatting it out Wow a mana rentals bumps himself up into fifth place and 84.3 three chords you know a sigh of relief Wow so that bum Pass or gentei and Keegan Palmer so the worst chord you know can do here is third place today Keegan Palmer and Tristan Reni are gonna try their best to bump him out of that top spot Tristan Reni currently holding down third but first Keegan Palmer will try to get himself into that top three we saw Keegan Palmer came out swinging and did a great first run now he's just got to add some more tricks to it this is Keegan Palmer his fourth and final run will it be enough to get somebody else into the top three perfect noseblunt on the extension using these hips alley frontside air setting up for deep in 540 landed show he make that he landed at the bottom of the transition big indy 540 misses it and we mentioned on his last run he needed to flip his board he knew that went for a huge kickflip Indy over the hip unfortunately wasn't able to get the grab so Keegan Palmer's got about 10 seconds left lift in this final he's already had an amazing showing he's got youth on his side he will be around in Park Finals for years to come as he tries to throw an eggplant 540 and that does it for him so right now the final three guys are set cord you know Oscar Rosenberg and Tristen Reni now Tristan Reni is gonna try his best he's already in third place but he wants to bump himself up into either the first place spot or the second place spot Tristan if he does everything he can do he could beat a 93 we saw Tristan win the big contest in Boise a few weeks ago got second at the Park Series in Brazil earlier this year Tristan could knock Cory junot score out but he has to have the run of his life well this is what happened to Keegan Palmer's run for the top unfortunately not able to put that kickflip Indy over the hip back on his feet and that'll do it for him the last person to go Tristan can he possibly bump himself up into korra Geno's top spot he's sitting in third place right now needs a 93 wait three for to take over the lead Neal Hendricks you say that he's got it if he sticks everything he can he has been skating so good the last few months rolling straight in to start his run all right here we go this is it two steps off the frontside air by virtue of that courage who know we'll go home as the winner of the men's pro-park here at Dew Tour Long Beach Wow we fight twisting up for that last run and it falls on the easiest trick he's gonna do in his run man oh man encourage you know you know he doesn't want to go out like that year though he wants to see Tristan throw down a power run but courage you know just put it together all day long some of the best skateboarding that we have seen here and in the grand scheme of things I think Tristan's gonna be happy with third he's a local boy he grew up just an hour inland from Long Beach he's got friends and family is grandma's here so that's a special moment for Tristan to end up on the podium and do to it but unbelievable day for Cory you know here just some of the highlights of his frontside rock-and-roll slide that he made put the corner the frontside noseblunt slide the backside noseblunt River the frontside flip it just goes on and on Chris pastors is with our winner right now on the deck take it away Chris Cory did you know two-time do crown describe what you're feeling right now buddy I don't know I'm just feeling excite man they're stoked to be out here all my friends all the boys killing it having a good weekend good aster much more I know when we first got here you struggled with the park a little bit how'd you find your line I just came out today like trying to do my best not hoping for much just wanted to put down something solid and oh it worked out I was just able to get a lucky run in and it worked out great I didn't see that frontside flip in practice did you winged that one no I made a couple of practice I was trying I'm living coming and going sitting out of my bag for a few months but I'm trying to get him back buddy you just won $35,000 that's most people's yearly salary what are you gonna do with the money I don't know it's looking good for pops put it in the bank go celebrate courage you know yes back to you guys Thank You Chris pastors Cory's you know big congratulations to him just putting it all together when it counted what a day of skateboarding these guys came out so hot and heavy as soon as this men's park final started off here's the highlights right now of what went down kneel take us through the incredible skateboarding that happened here today at cords you know such a buttery fluid style we saw the frontside flip check out this back nose blunt Reaver so hard to bring that around on the grippy concrete unreal de chord you know focusing is board that board will never skateboard again and this is what the final results your cord you know on top of course with that 93.3 3 Oscar Rosenberg coming out of Sweden in second Tristan ready rounding out the top three clay Kriner hey mana Reynolds Alex Sergent a in sixth Keegan Palmer in seventh and the Brazilian Luiz Francisco in the top eight [Music] well Neil that was pretty intense to say the least we had such good skateboarding early on in this final and it just really didn't stop yeah one of the best park finals I've ever seen and chords you know defenses title wins the park contests that do to her for the second year in a row and one of the big takeaways for me today was just such a diverse style of skateboarding represented in this final and you were saying it didn't take a 540 to win this and usually we kind of see like a compulsory five to win enough that we're used to these guys having to do the big 540 to take the win and Cory's you know and Oscar Rosenberg both 1st and 2nd just did unique lip tricks unique lines no 540's easily got first and second it was a crazy day full of all kinds of bananas stunts we saw the lift antics of Cory's you know bring home the win forum well that will do it for us here today in Long Beach the Dew Tour has been nothing short of incredible great skateboarding on behalf of Neil Hendrix and Chris Pasteur's I'm Todd Richardson we'll see you next time from do tour you've been watching the men's pro park final from Long Beach
