[Music] [Applause] hey guys and welcome to GT not live it is not live but it is hopefully with improved sound for realsies this time Steph do we have to improve sound hopefully I pray we recorded a lot of episodes that ended up getting scrapped because the audio quality was really poor oh no peers to be better no and thank you guys for calling that out on the last episode apparently because the TriCaster is the best thing in the world there was an invisible switch got flipped just really where which we have not touched ever period but just flipped and that's what made it not accept audio from our microphones instead accept audio from the camera which is stupid anyway but at this point the sound paneling is in its final form we're still waiting on like a soundproof curtain over here just because shipping is really slow but it should sound world's better because one you have actual audio coming from the things strapped to my chest and two because we what you might want to move it just a little bit it seems like some strange nipple attachment just really into that so anyway with that being said I know last episode we are playing through fine here let me shove it up my body here great cool so anyway hopefully I didn't flash anyone you know unlike all those twitch streamers who like do stuff and then don't get banned for it boom Ching uh-huh but anyway long story short because the audio was so bad we actually had to scrap some of the levels that we played through so we're gonna have to record we record some of them which we'll do over the next couple weeks but we know that we're kind of breaking continuity here with what we were doing we actually filmed like three other episodes that day of fancy mid-level and we're like we can't upload these they're just the audio so bad and we didn't realize it until after like our three hours of playing was done and uploading them like oh this sucks so anyway yeah so one of the fans submitted levels was actually not a level submitted by that or it wasn't a level created by them but was instead a challenge for us to take on alpha rads super world so alpha rad if you don't know is a large YouTube channel I think he has over two million subscribers at this point it does really funny gaming videos he's got like really good editing style his stuff is really solid so if you've never checked him out absolutely do so but apparently he's made an entire super world in Super Mario maker to that I guess in absence of rubber Ross doing levels right now these are the next best thing I don't know how he is as a as a Mario maker creator but based on the fact that he you know gave us 69 lives lul and also is the first three levels all have 999 deaths I expect this to be yeah I expect that we're in for a fun ride so yeah rumor has it that he's working on a whole rubber Ross world in Mario maker and you know we'll play it as soon as it's available but uh but yeah that's still kind of TBD so anyway that's the situation friends that's why we're kind of breaking up things and so this is matpat versus alpha rad i mean it's not as exciting as h3h3 vs. keemstar but at least it's a lot more civil and all right until the rage hair starts I don't know that remains to be seen whether it's civil that's true frustrating right I have I haven't hopped into these levels yet so without any further ado let's do that Stephanie super mario world not to fire world sorry super mario brothers 2 rules which yeah so basically you don't you pick them up so you're able to pick up things so okay so as soon as I let go I this rave oh this is super fun I love that someone did this and it and it really does change like the game okay haha they doing this - okay so so in Super Mario World and Super Mario Brothers - if you held down yeah you can get yeah you can get taller jump oh great [Music] it is interesting because like if you figured out all the other versions of Mario that Mario maker allows you to riffle well it changes it yeah it changes again because all the other versions because all the other versions of it are hop on characters you know whatever but here this is actually like a fundamental gameplay koopa mario think after them I think you see sponsorship no threat or no risk at all danger of sponsors being like well this person might at some point in the future someday say something controversial and so I can't that's why I think you know if someone chooses just to be a sponsor on content it's because it's not even necessarily because they like that their creators or audience is really important to them right so like so like Nord VPN is one of our response they care about us at all what they care about is that our audience care about their like safety and security online and Nord VPN yeah they might not care at all about us and they shouldn't be responsible right I don't know but I mean okay does it make does it make them scared too does it make them scared too to sponsor people or does it just like I think the interesting part of it right is Ethan and his call-out of G fuel is hey do you know what you're like this is this is the sort of behavior that this person that you've deemed worthy of sponsor is gonna be bad for them they don't want that why no they don't but like but also they they should be aware to some extent of like it's it's it's tough right because on one hand you know just like youtubers want a sponsor products they believe in and would move away from sponsor like brand dad for the most part unless it's really egregious I don't think it's like if anything do you know what you're sponsoring but not a hey I don't think it's fair to get angry at them I think it's fair to call their attention oh maybe I K okay I think I'm making you those two don't figure right oh so I need the box to go through the pipe I need to hop off so basically three things need to happen all at the same time I need to top off that piranha plant throw the Box through the pipe and then also double back to a wall jump over there that's and that's the big problem is that wall jump because with my forward ones and going that way I'm having a hard time changing direction right that's what they like because I have to turn it 3d world mechanics where there's so much more momentum and it's harder to like our disagree no I I mean I do think it's one of those where it's like I do think it's one of those where as people who try to like maintain a level of integrity and stuff like you know you're really controverted and that's not a statement of quality of of anyone involved in the controversy okay I need to wait but we're getting it um but yeah I like and so it is always saddening to me oh wait another round it is saddening to me to see like wow those are brand sponsorship dollars I could have gone to not necessarily loss but like to someone who is more upstanding or a more positive force like and obviously that's always gonna be relative or whatever to be better I think five years how much more sophisticated and how much smarter people have gotten if you're in a brand new industry it's not gonna happen overnight channels to decide which ones to
