sagging bouncing or uneven floors standing water or high humidity nasty odors or dangerous mold crawl space problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps it's the weather extreme video this is the afternoon edition this is for wednesday the 2nd of march i'm james spann alabama's weather will stay dry through the weekend and the warming trend continues highs very close to 80 by friday saturday sunday then we'll see showers and thunderstorms back in here early next week on monday let's talk about it upper air look today we still have a dry northwest flow aloft and a cloudless sky across alabama in the adjacent states just beautiful today temperatures as expected up in the 70s birmingham at 76 the same for tuscaloosa anniston 75 and again we'll be really close to 80 by friday saturday sunday amazingly quiet for the second of march much of the country with calm weather just winter weather advisories for a few counties in eastern montana no thunderstorms expected across the country through tonight that is very unusual for the 2nd of march tomorrow maybe some thunder for southern california places like los angeles san diego santa barbara and then day three a chance of thunder for parts of utah colorado and wyoming but no severe weather expected there is a chance of severe storms on day four which is saturday through parts of iowa wisconsin illinois and missouri and then on day five which is sunday we have a risk of severe storms over much of arkansas in some of the adjacent states but at this point no risk is defined for monday here's the precipitation for the next seven days rain will be coming back to alabama next week rain amounts around one inch for the north under one half inch for the south so model fans let's go here's the gfs this is the 12z run valid tomorrow afternoon at three again it's a northwest flow aloft and another beautiful day sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s same thing friday lots of sunshine very close to 80. saturday as the weekend begins got a surface low that's north of omaha that could bring some strong storms to parts of the corn belt but again down here warm dry partially sunny the high close to 80. and the same thing on sunday we're warm and dry cold front north of the state and then on monday that cold front pushes in here with a chance of showers and thunderstorms the gfs depicting the surface low near pittsburgh this is the european very similar it's got the surface low a bit south of there across west virginia but no doubt we'll have a chance of showers and thunderstorms monday maybe some strong storms this is the instability now the surface-based cape and uh those numbers are up to a thousand jewels in spots not overwhelming for march but certainly sufficient for a few strong storms and this is the lightning flash density product coming off the europeans so monday looks kind of stormy a strong storm certainly a possibility may be severe not a classic setup but we'll have a much better clarity on this by friday and saturday this is tuesday once again the global models pushing the boundary down to the south suggesting we'll be in drier air uh the high will be in the low 60s on tuesday the sky becoming mostly sunny and a week from today wednesday the 9th troughing to the north and again much of the state dry except for a chance of showers near the gulf coast we'll go out 10 days this is saturday march 12th again troughing to the north the zonal flow and again a dry air mass numbers have come down on the precipitation here this is off the european ensemble the rain expected through the 17th of march the mean is now under three inches uh in recent runs that uh mean was up to four inches look at temperatures we'll be close to 80 friday saturday sunday then back in the 60s for the latter half of next week and hot off the presses got the brand new cpc outlook this is for march 10 through march the 16th temperatures across alabama should be fairly close to average if this forecast verifies that's it for the weather extreme video this afternoon we'll have notes on the blog the next video here by six o'clock tomorrow morning if you can't catch us this evening on abc 33 40 news at 4 5 6 and 10 o'clock thanks for watching have a great evening and god bless sagging bouncing or uneven floors call alabama professional services standing water or high humidity call aps nasty odors or dangerous mold call aps critters bugs or other pests that's right call aps it's a fact crawl space problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps call alabama professional services today [Music]
